Cons: "I could see on the Fly Delta app that I had been placed in seat 10B, but neither the app nor my boarding pass gave me a group to board with, so I assumed that I needed to board with group 3, which necessitated gate-checking my rollerboard bag. Only when I approached the gate to board did I notice on the info screen that I had been "upgraded" to Comfort + and granted boarding with the Sky Priority group. I wish this had been clearer so I could have avoided waiting to board and gate-checking my bag. Minor inconvenience but room for improvement on Delta's part."

Love Delta, I did not flight United because I wouldn’t have met my United flight once landing in ATL. The Young African American woman who was at the gate was amazing and so reassuring that I would make my flight to Chicago. Would book Delta, just because of how nice she was to me."

Our first class seats were comfortable, but with the supplied blanket, pillow and poor air conditioning it was a hot flight. The cabin personnel were wonderful as per usual, and my tasty gin and tonic soothed any discontent. I wish I could fly this way all the time!"
Cons: "The private contractor handling wheelchair assistance was terrible. A Delta employee theorized that they do not pay enough to attract and retain personnel. Our pre-arranged chair was not there, multiple calls by our Delta assistant finally got us a ride to the chair holding area, but after about 45 minutes we gave up and shuffled off to the security area on foot. Thank goodness my hubby is mobile enough for that to have been an option. When we abandoned our wait we were still 4th in line for an attendant to push the chair. If Delta has any responsibility in this it would be in the retention and compensation for the private contractor."

Cons: "They board the front of the plane first, meaning the aisles get clogged up slowing down the process. Also, staff kept insisting pre boarding that more people needed to check their bags because there wasn't enough overhead bin space, but there were plenty of bins not full by take off."

Pros: "Accident on way to airport, so I showed up to check bags 45 minutes before flight time. They said they couldn't get the bag to the plane..in 45 minutes? So, they put on the next flight... 6 hours later. Said I could fly without the bag... uh, no thanks. They would not look for alternatives without charging me more. Flight attendants were crabby, otherwise everything was fine. I flew British Airways a few months ago. Night and day. Seriously. Delta does not even approach having good service. There was no comparison to British Air--- Delta is not in the same league."

Cons: "We booked with Delta, but were put on Air France. Even though we had our boarding passes in hand we had to wait in long, slow line for baggage tags because they would not print from kiosk. There was minimal Air France staff on duty serving thousands of passengers during busy season (July). While the lines grew larger, the staff was reduced from 4 to 2. Another long, slow line for customs, another long slow line for security=Charles De Gaulle airport was awful. We arrived at the airport 4 hours before our departure time and got to our boarding gate with no time to spare."

The flight attendants were nice but I was in a seat near the engine and it was making really weird noises. I fly almost every two weeks, so I'm used to engine noises but this was one of the loudest/most rickety sounding flights I have ever been on.. and I have flown Spirit a few times. It just didn't feel safe. Landing scared me a little too as I have landed in O'Hare countless times and have never flown so low to the highway upon entry. It felt like we were only a couple hundred feet above the cars."

Cons: "To board the plane in Panama City passengers had to go through a second security screening and were therefore unable to bring bottled beverages onto the plane. Once through this second security there was no where to purchase water. The free never came through the plane to offer more beverages after the meal service. Many passengers got up and corralled at the back of the plane to get water. I watched a flight attendant drink from one the large bottles herself and then presumably serve to a customer."

Pros: "This announcement by the pilot at the beginning of the flight turned out to be incorrect. Despite the fact that I did online check-in at least 23 hours in advance, I was seated way at the rear of the jet. As a single woman who looks unusual because half of my hair is shorter due to recent surgery; I sincerely hope I was not seated at the back due to my appearance. The other passenger seated with me was a very kind developmentally disabled young man. The placement in row 33 +/- only emphasized the many instances of turbulence on the flight to Chicago."

I understand that many people might have pre-selected their seats online and her choices were limited, but a notification would have been nice."

Pros: "Loved the check in. No baggage expense. Up to two bags FREE! Then, we had a meal --that was included in the fare. The crew was pleasant and accommodating. Everyone was pleasant. To pass the time on the 5 1/2 hour flight, there were options for movies, TV, games and etc. Overall, it was a pleasant flight. When I book my next trip, I'm going to see if Copa goes there. If so, that's my first choice."

The boarding wasn't good due to the stupid restrictions the US imposes on flights to the USA. We didn't appreciate the fact that the airline didn't let us know in advance that we couldn't buy drinks at the airport. That was a waste of money. The food wasn't good at all though. The coffee was terrible and so were the eggs, but at least we got something."

Pros: "Having flown long haul with American numerous times, this time I was pleasantly surprised by several things. Firstly, the brand new plane with excellent in-seat entertainment choices, power points at every seat, more comfortable chairs with better head rests and even window dimmers vs. window shades, allowing you to look outside the whole flight. Secondly, the food was much improved...definitely better quality and tastier than typical airline food. And thirdly, better service from flight attendants who actually smiled. Keep up the good work. This represents a real step change."

Very stressful, and it didn't help that the gate crew was extremely rude and unprofessional. It is very inconvenient that we could not choose our seats beforehand."

It did board and leave on time but not an hour early. This flight was night and day different than our ORD to Dublin flight of 5.12.17 which was 5 hours delayed and do stressful."

On a transatlantic flight of 10+ hours that is not overnight, it is a bit much to expect customers to fill that much time if one cannot read because the lights aren't working. The flight attendant said it was a very old plane as the reason why, not exactly what one wants to hear. Also, the plane was different than the one I prepaid my seats for, thus the money I spent on bulkhead seats was wasted as we just got two normal seats. Not a good experience."

Cons: "Everything else was a NIGHTMARE. We bought our tickets in Nov. I paid for an upgrade and assigned seats in FEBRUARY. We flew May 13. Not only did they RESELL and REASSIGN our seats to someone else -- we could not get a refund for the upgrade we paid for. To add insult to injury, the only seats they could give us were in the back of the plane next to the toilet. Having heard so many similar nightmare stories about American Air I can say I will never ever fly American Air again. We now have to spend our firrst few days home from vacation disputing that charge, writing letters and making calls to get that damn refund. I will be sharing my discontent far and wide. Whoever at corporate thinks it's best practice to sell and sell and sell seats and live with the aggravation of the customers has an upside down notion of how to run a successful business. NIGHTMARE."

Pros: "The gentlemen from the wheelchair service who was there to pick us up when we arrived in Heathrow went above and beyond his duties. Instead of passing us over to another wheelchair attendant as we needed to switch terminals, he stayed with us thru the terminal change until we were on the airplane. We needed to get our boarding passes at Heathrow from a different airline and he helped us with this. Kudos to him!! The attendants on this flight were very helpful when my husband was having a diabetic reaction and I was vomiting form air motion sickness. We were a mess!! However the flight attendants were sure we had a wheelchair in Chicago and helped us with our bags as we were exiting the plane. Nice Job"

Cons: "They had no record of this portion of my trip, after a few people checked they found the Chicago to Ammon part so they added me onto a flight from Washington to Chicago. All should of went well from there but they sent me to the wrong gate. Luckily I just made it to the correct gate for boarding. Upon arriving at Chicago there was no one available to provide information on how to get to Royal Jordanian gates. Also on my AA portion of my flight coming into The U S in New York the flight was cancelled and I was told the next flight Available was next day (18hr delay) at the other NY airport. I had to have someone drive from D.C. (My destination) to pick me up"

Pros: "The crew was friendly and did their best, the flight took off my schedule"
Cons: "They didn't have individual tvs which was disappointing but showed three movies instead on screens. They announced the movies being shown on the flight at the beginning and then proceeded to show three completely different things, some just being random tv shows. The whole middle section of the plan had static in their headphones so they were unable to watch the movies. The crew was friendly but seemed very confused as if it was their first time working together. Announcements were choppy And confusing. They also asked me to pay 190 dollars extra to sit with my husband. Not the best experience"

Cons: "Cancelled flight, missed my brothers graduation ceremony due to a cancelled flight, continuous delays when finally finding a flight . On the way back from Chicago to New Orleans one of the flight attendants was very rude to a passenger about her phone which could've been explained to her in a more pleasant way ."

Pros: "Pilots emphatic attitude & availability to provide accurate information (arrival times taking time zone in consideration, updates)"
Cons: "The most Uncomfortable seats ever! Not enough flights or crew available causing further delays than necessary."

Pros: "Flight was overall enjoyable."
Cons: "Middle seat gets both arm rests. This social-guideline should be enforced as I spent my flight with a broken hand keeping my hands and elbows tucked in. Only a minor issue, however."

Cons: "non reclinable sets in row 4.... Are you kidding? Why did I settle for this? I will tell you why I needed a last-minute direct flight to Chicago from Fort Lauderdale"

Cons: "I didn't like that you pay for a carry on that is stupid when your flight is already $400"

Cons: "At least a coffee /water/ and a cool drink could have been provided. The yellow/black color seen in booking/check-in process sends CREEPS and CHEAPS, while the price is not at all cheaper than other air lines."

Cons: "The Plane isn't comfortable. Engine noise is very loud. The seat is narrow and especially does not have enough legroom even for a 5'3 fit woman. The flight landed half hour earlier but we had to wait on the board for nearly 50 minutes longer because they couldn't find a gate."

Pros: "Every time I fly with Spirit they seem to single me out and try to make me pay $100.00 dollars for a Cary on witch here's a perfect example my husband flys with Spirit all the time and I decided to take his personal bag for my flight to Chigago so no one will aggravate me but guess what they still did I can't win with Spirit I don't know why they do that to me maybe I just look to good to be in their airline or to rich I can't explain it but it's sad that they should have better managers to handle Thair passengers better my biggest complaint would be when u flew out of Atlantuc city with my husband and son headed to Dallas and was stopped at the entrance of the gate boarding the plane the manager in charge asked me to pay $100.00 dollars for the carry on I explained that there were 5 things in the personal item but he still continued to argue with me my husband and son boarded the flight with bigger bags thAn I had but I didn't want to couse trouble for anyone else on that flight si I decided to ask a vendor near by if he had a plastic bag that I can have to put my pijamas and a change of clothing that I had so that's what I did and left my carry on witch meant so much to me be couse my grandmother had gave it to me when I was young so I really tried to complain to spirit back in October 15th 2015 but it was impossible to get to someone who listens anyway I can't stand spirit after that but I still fly with them not couse they are good or nice they suck but they are with in my budget when I need to fly so don't expect anything for nothing from Spirit I don't ! Ps I'm sure if someone of authority sees this revew can look through your computers and see that what I said was all true and I'm sure they have camaras at the Airport that you can review and see what I said was true ."

Cons: "I would never fly this airline again. I like to think I'm a pretty reasonable person when it comes to customer service, last minute changes, and things like that. Checking in was no problem. Our flight had already been delayed so I was prepared for a longer wait. As I sat there, the flight got delayed two additional times. Ok, no big deal, but when customers were asking why the attendants could not tell us. When asked a general time we would be boarding, people were told "when the captain gives us the OK." Finally, we boarded almost 4 hours later when the delay stated only 2 hours. The plane was OK, but the attendants were far from pleasant. I was OK with no Tvs, baggage prices, and all of that because I was aware beforehand, but the way the staff acted was completely disgusting. After finally getting Chicago, I waited almost 45 minutes for my bags. When I called my car to tell them the delay they replied that Spirit had been backed up all day. Why? No one really knew. On the way back from Chicago to Boston, the flight was set to board at 1:09 pm. The airport was extremely busy, so I did not get through security until about 1:40. I ran to the gate only to see that they hadn't boarded yet. No updated on their website of the delay and nothing sent to my email. We didn't actually board until about 2pm, and then had to wait an additional 30 minutes on the plane because one of the attendants was late getting on. So now, it is about 2:45 and we are finally taking off-originally scheduled at 1:54 with NO updates sent to the customers on the delay. No one explained the delay and no one could give a time when we would take off. A few people tried to call the airline to explain their concerns and were abruptly hung up on. The least Spirit could have done is listened to their concerns and gave an apology. I will never, EVER fly this airline, and I suggest you don't either."

Cons: "It was a disaster from the moment I got to the airport. Flight was going to be late and it kept getting later as the time went on until we wouldn't make our connecting flight. Their option was to give passengers a van ride from Chicago to Minneapolis. When no one thought that was acceptable they didn't do anything for a few hours. I finally got a hotel room and flight home scheduled(the next day) as the flight to Chicago was finally loading."

Cons: "Seats dont recline unless you upgrade. no food offered. the interior of the plane is stripped bare - the seats have the essentials which was fine with me. I slept the whole flight although the seat was a bit uncomfortable."

Cons: "Nothing to do with Spirit. MCO security was a huge cluster. I arrived 2 hours prior and by the time I got to the gate the flight was bording. They need help."

Cons: "CARRY-ONS cost money. They cost more money if you don't buy them ahead of time. It costs extra to CHECK IN WITH AN AGENT. The airline is not upfront about any of this. These charges supposedly keep the cost of the ticket low: You only pay for exactly what you want (ie: if you don't have carry-ons, you can get away with paying less.). This is bullshit. They charge for WATER— tap water— on the plane. It is purely a money making scheme. They don't have repeat customers because they are awful. Oh and the seats are tinier than any flight I've ever been on. Truly the worst flying experience of my life."

Also, there are fees everywhere, really you think you will save money, I don't think so, by the time you add the baggage fees,check in fees,seat fees etc. you end up paying more than other , better serviced airlines. Sorry , lost a client , I have tried three times thinking that you will improve,, the same result.NOT AGAIN!!"
