Pros: "To be honest I had a pretty bad flight because my allergies exploded during the entire flight - constant sneezing, runny nose, you name it. However, the attentiveness of the crew really made up for it. The cabin was decorated with tiny wreathes (so cute!), and the pillow/blanket was very comfortable/warm for an Economy seat. Although I did not use it as much, the entertainment seemed top-notch. And the crew-- they noticed that I was not feeling well, and offered me peppermint tea and snacks that did sooth things a bit (you can request for snack/beverage refills anytime!). I loved that they gave out black socks to the passengers too (I prefer taking my shoes off during the flight, so the socks added warmth & prevented my own socks from getting dirty). All in all, it was one of the best-serviced long flights I had, not to mention probably the most affordable price I paid for my annual trip to Korea (from LA)."

Need more counters. Doha airport has majority of Indian national personell at check in and luggage checkins. They have to learn some manners and be polite with people. They provide 2 meals and a third snack (usually a pizza) and keep additional snacks and drinks fully stocked in the back of the plane. None of that existed on this flight. The crew was very uninterested. Seemed very absent and not into assisting patrons. Overall, not what I have experienced on prior Qatar Airways flights. To add insult to injury, I was sitting next to an EXTREMELY smelly person, which didn't make the experience any easier :( Not the airlines responsibility to ensure patrons exercise proper hygiene, but that didn't help the situation with my hungry growling stomach."

I am a tall passenger and this caused much discomfort on the flight, I had to keep getting up to walk around. Initially charged $1000 for 3 tickets for modification of return trip - confirmed the same and tickets issued (i'm fine with this). But, after i made arrangements for new date, I got a call saying calculation error and asked to pay another $500 leaving me no choices. How can such a reputed airline have no tools to calculate the pay? Other airlines offered one-way for half of the price i paid. On top of it, online helpdek promised front line seat to satisfy me but nothing was offered even if i ask explicitly. Simply declined saying i am not in priority list. Why do they make false promises? Friends, Just don't fly in Qatar for food....."

Cons: "First flight (to Istanbul) delayed, and nobody cared to help with making connecting flight booked on the same Turkish Airlines (THY)! Different THY employees sent me to three (3) different places (with two suitcases in hand) at opposite ends of the huge Istanbul airport before finally pointing to the Business Lounge and causing my missing the connection. Had they directed me correctly and cared about my first delay, I would not have missed it. I lost the first-night pay at the hotel of my final destination, my friends lost their time and money on making trips to pick me up, my ailing relatives were in pieces worrying about me, and so on. In sum, a fun trip (NOT!) ... If you care for some details, here you go... They did not inform their own connecting flight about my delay. Despite issuing me a boarding pass, nobody was looking for me or announcing where I should go. I spent an hour running around the airport at THY employees' misdirections. Business Lounge revealed I was already issued a ticket for next morning's flight (without informing me via my email they had or otherwise). I then looked at their own monitor and saw a much earlier flight the same night on a partner airline. I had to point to that flight, and they issued me a ticket there. No apology, no offer of any compensation. I understand that flights may delay, and I could forgive an honest mistake in misdirection. But this was a wide-spread incompetence and utter unwillingness to help their own business class (!) customer. I can only imagine what pains the economy travelers had to endure! Just to give you a flavor, after realizing that my connecting flight was boarding (when my delayed first flight arrived in Istanbul), I asked the crew to direct me to the best route to my connection. They pointed to the gate personnel. The gate personnel who greeted us DID NOT KNOW about my connection and sent me to the opposite side of the airport without notifying the connecting flight to wait for me. No help/transport was offered. When I made my way to the connecting gate with my luggage, the flight was gone. Nobody to be found from THY around the gate. A neighboring THY gate's employee directed me to the "Care Point" desk far away. A sizable line emerged there, with only two agents working it. I asked one of them if business class was served there. They said, "Yes, get in line, please". After 30 minutes in that line, I approached a "Care Point" agent (a cruel name for no-care-whatsoever service) who told me "You need to go to the business class desk upstairs. Economy only here!" No apology, no expression of concern, yelling "Next!" when I told her that I wasted 30 minutes of valuable time in line at their direction and would appreciate her doing something to help or making sure I reach the right person. Off to the "business desk" I go... another 15-min. run in a different direction with luggage in hand. That desk could not help either...ARGHH. Do I need to continue?.."

Pros: "So I never actually flew with Turkish this trip, but I can write about my rerouting experiences. Inbound my first connection to Istanbul was cancelled due to technical problems. Fortunately I was second in the ticket office line and was promptly rebooked with Lufthansa. My return flight was cancelled because of the coup, and again I was rebooked with Lufthansa."
Cons: "Overall Turkish Airlines did well in a difficult situation. But a few concerns. On my inbound flight, the agent servicing us was amazing and I was fortunate to be second in line, but the airline was ill prepared for the situation and the agent was being hung out to dry by his colleagues who kept calling him and wouldn't let him do his job. On the return flight, I was frustrated the agents at first pushed me to take a refund rather than letting me rebook with a partner. I ended up having to leave a day later than expected, and didn't get an itinerary till the morning after my original flight. This was all very stressful. Lastly, you have to think twice about flying through Turkey. Although this coup is over, the next crisis will be over whether President Erdogan creeping authoritarianism."

You will have a diarrhea straight forward for the rest of the flight. It’’s hot spices mixed with anything pasta or chicken or vegetables and that’s it. That maybe so much tasty for certain group of people but in a restaurant not on board a flight on air. They are blocking passengers’ choices in food in the other option whatever it is. And situation may got worse if the only other option is for instance is meat because my wife doesn’t eat meat (she’s exceptional.. That’s right) but then she poorly can not eat any meal on board this flight and has to wait for the second meal after another 6 hours. Maybe she will be lucky and she can eat the only second available option for all because we all can not eat the first choice meal which is a must to be Indian. And here I’m specifying it. It’s Indian, not vegetarian meal. Vegetarian meal would be a nice choice acceptable to try for anyone. This must be considered!!! Passengers have nothing to eat except what air-hosts serve them for 16 hours !! So Al-Etihad should kindly know that not half of its passengers on board are Indians. I am a very frequent international traveler and have never seen a similar problem or issue with any other airline."
