Orderly boarding, priority for platinum members, courtesy drinks from business class even when we were seating in economy.
Horrible. No TV or any type of entertainment on board. Passwnger listening to/watching stuff on their own phone with no headphones making it noise and uncomfortable for everyone else, little/tiny food portions, old seats, useless wifi (cant access anything). Horrible exlerience especially it was a lomg distance flight with kids.
Some of the Air hostesses are not that friendly. Need improvement

The flight was delayed twice and I could not speak with anyone at the airport about checking in. The phone number to Copa - the customer service agents were polite. They are just limited at helping because they are not at the airport

Biggest issue was that they only had two restrooms in the back of the aircraft. Too many people for only two restrooms. The trash was overflowing and there was paper on the floor too. Long lines in the isle to use it. Food was also a bit meh. They don’t offer snacks with drinks, so you might want to buy a snack to hold you off on a longer trip, since the meals are very small.

I like the crew who were very helpful in ensuring documents were in order and problems resolver in a timely manner. However I did not like the fact that I had to have my checked bag inspected.I was concerned I would have missed my flight. I was also trying to check in online only to realise that was not possible.
We had a quick connection in Bogota. When we landed, they waited on the tarmac for 25 minutes before they let us deplane. I told the stewardess that we had less than 15 min to get to our next international flight. She did nothing except tell us we had time to get there. We found out later that they already scheduled us for a later flight, but they didn’t say anything until we ran to our gate. The plane was still there but they wouldn’t let us board. When they changed our flight, they gave my wife and I a voucher for food that was less than $40 in value. That buys very little in the Bogota airport.. it barely paid for two fruit juice drinks. There lack of communication was very unprofessional. This will be our first and last time using Avianca.
The seats we had, did not recline and there was very little cushion. There was no entertainment module in the seat.

Overall, the flight went well and the service was good. However, there was a very frightening moment during landing in Bogotá. Just as the plane was about to touch down, it suddenly went back up into the air. The aircraft was not descending straight and seemed to move left and right, which made the situation feel unstable. This was quite scary. After going back up, the plane circled for about 15 minutes before attempting to land again. Although I understand that safety always comes first and situations like this can happen, it was still a shocking experience for passengers.
The usb plugs for charging your phone didn’t work, the seats were coarse and hard. Not very comfortable. No inflight WiFi

Horrible. They canceled several flights and kept pushing us to different flights. We were 12 hours in the airport with no compensation and not even a single apology.
Was charged for ticket, unable to check in online, made the line to speak to someone at the counter but was told I did not show up in the system as having a ticket to fly - even though I have the email with confirmation and credit card was charged. I could not purchase another ticket at the counter, only online which was not working. Ended up buying a flight on another airline at the airport. Called customer service to claim the cost of the original ticket, was told I showed up in their system as having a ticket but did not check-in or show up to board the flight. Currently pending review for refund via their customer service team, they were very nice and helpful over the phone despite the many glitches.
Do not book with this airline. Flights delayed over 3 hours and no explanation. They keep changing your itinerary every hour.
Awful. Not water, or chargers or space under the seats, the plane was very old and poor maintenance, seats really dirty, sticky, seats pockets with wires pinching your knees. Connection with no announcements, plane departed 1.30 hour earlier for an extra stop to refueling in Trinidad & Tobago. Even that we had a 3 hrs delay, seated in the plane in the runway.
Really bad. Uncommunicated stop in Trinidad & Tobago for refueling. Extra stop added 3 hours of discomfort without allowing off the seat. Not even water, or chargers or boarding groups.
Staff were unfriendly and rude. Was stuck on runway for 2 hours after arrival in Boston.

I paid extra for a comfortable seat in the second flight, but the plane didn't have those seats, the first one did
The Arajet person who greeted us initially was unhelpful & rude about the mandatory migration form which has to be completed digitally but the systems don’t work properly. The boarding gate was changed twice and initial boarding was delayed. Once on board we we had to wait an hour and a half before take off. It was hot and there was very little room for tall-ish people to fit their knees in. The crew were pleasant but working in a poor situation. The plane was delayed because we were waiting for people from a delayed interconnecting flight. Arajet must have known that before we were asked to board. Better information, decisions & communication were needed.
My seat was broken and the crew had to find me somewhere else to sit. The crew was extremely courteous about this
