The planes were on time. On our way down to Cozumel. The pilot let me 4-year-old son see the cockpit. Which was AWESOME, they were great As well as the flight crew on the way down. The trip down was terrific, If AA had this level of service all the time I would fly with them all the time.

The trip home was more of what i expected from AA. The check-in process was slow and i was overcharged for my bike, On the way down it was $25 the same price as previous AA flights, On other airlines, it also just counts as a piece of luggage. On the way home i was charged $150 oversized luggage, yet it was <50 lbs and within the size limits. The flight crew was not overall friendly. Very business like and not warm at all. If they were a restaurant i would not be returning. The locks on my bike case were both broken off. the case was not locked. Nor was this done by TSA as they would have left a note as they have previously done.

Boarding was good

How do you board a multi-million dollar aircraft, yet still find yourself in an old western tv show. Easy, fly Frontier Airlines. The seats were like riding on an old horse buggy. Hard and unforgiving. The only positive was I didn’t get any slivers in my butt. No complimentary anything. Even the old settlers from the past could rustle up something simple to eat and drink, but not on Frontier. They need to get up to speed in this department, other airlines are starting to give drinks and snacks again for the long wagon ride in front of them.

I told them that trash receptacle was full in restroom. The response was "I'll put on gloves and "push it down" but it was still unusable fifteen minutes later. Had to pay $7.99 to access flight map. No earbuds were offered. Attendants were invisible except for collecting trash.

They came by with offerings of water at least 4 times for a 2+ hour flight. Contrast that with my last two 5 hour flights on Virgin and American where they came by with water — ONCE. WiFi wasn’t working for either flight and of course the lack of decent food is discouraging. The coffee has improved which is a plus. Overall, good job, United! Nice not to be jammed in like sardines for once.

The cabin crew was great at boarding and organizing the overhead bin space. Also, ground staff didn’t start check roll aboards before the overheads bins were full. There is nothing more frustrating than getting on after forced to gate check your bag to empty bin space (ahem, United at SFO).

Every time I fly to Denver, we land in one terminal and your connection is in another terminal that requires a train ride to get there. ,ayovers are short — generally barely an hour. If the flight is late you stand a very good chance of missing your connection, as I’m betting happened to over half the passengers on this flight. I was the lucky exception — this aircraft was actually the connecting flight too. Why can’t all United connections be in the same terminal? It makes no sense.

For the first time I did not fly on a puddle jumper. Not only was it a real jet, it had good seat comfort and leg room even in economy class. The crew was friendly and attentive. They came by with offerings of water at least 4 times for a 2+ hour flight. Contrast that with my last two 5 hour flights on Virgin and American where they came by with water — ONCE. WiFi wasn’t working for either flight and of course the lack of decent food is discouraging. The coffee has improved which is a plus. Overall, good job, United! Nice not to be jammed in like sardines for once.

WiFi wasn’t working and food selection is non existent. Other than that, a very pleasant flight overall.

I liked that they provided blankets and complimentary drinks.

They didn’t provide entertainment properly, you needed to have the United app downloaded ahead of time if you wanted to see any movies. All food was made for purchase they did not offer any free food.

The crew was very friendly

There was no free in-flight entertainment available on the tv screens. Half of the screens didn't work.

Crew was friendly and helpful

Our flight was delayed by almost 2 hours and caused me to miss my connecting flight. Next available flight was a 6 hour layover that I was not expecting.

Flight on time.

I miss friendly Southwest. Even the assigned seat is kit enough for me to use AA again. People smile at Southwest and seem to enjoy their job.

I did like that "new plane" smell. Good pretzels.

Plane was too new; computer system hadn't been set right. Left 45 minutes late, though made up some lost time in the air. Very rude passengers (obviously not the airline's fault, I know). Everyone thinks they should be the first to get off the plane!

Unreclinable seat on a red eye flight is a torture. No attempt to move us on a diffferent seat when the flight wasn’t even full. Not the most mindful
