Cons: "There was no internet most of the flight it only worked for the first 20-30 minutes of the flight then they tried resetting it but it didn’t work for the rest of the flight."
Cons: "No screens at all for a 5 hour flight. No charging outlets. Terrible flight comfort."
Cons: "Ramps up to the plane are a challenge for someone with movement problems. They had a mechanical issue that delayed departure for almost an hour for lack of a single screw."
Cons: "The flight attendants were very polite. Both of us are blind, and they told us the information we needed – how far away is the nearest exit row. Otherwise they treated us like everyone else!"
Pros: "Crew did a great job!"
Cons: "Not much everything was smooth."
Pros: "Flight attendant was a little rude"
Pros: "I liked that we arrived on time. Besides that. Not much."
Cons: "Having to us use our cell phones to watch a few channels was terrible. No movie. No help. You were just left on your own. Total of waste of time. Give us a monitor. Give us options. You are American Airlines, not Allegiant Air"
Pros: "Equipment was adequate. I liked the on board emergency instructions!"
Cons: "Boarding was chaotic—no lines, just a mass of people all trying to get to the same place. The crew did their job but weren’t particularly friendly."
Cons: "They left me! I know I was a “runner” but they knew I was just already going through security and it’s only a 3 terminal airport! They even asked if there were any runners!"
Pros: "Nice crew, short flight"
Cons: "Delayed 43 minutes"
Cons: "No amenities at airport"
Cons: "Flight was delayed so had to drive to connecting city just to make it home."
Pros: "the movies selection was quite nice"
Cons: "I have to run to get to my connection flight"
Pros: "Unlike previous AA flights, the process was smooth everywhere it mattered. Attendants and crew were friendly, service was prompt, flight was smooth."
Cons: "Attendant was unable to upgrade me to first class due to a system error they couldn't fix. Boarding was unnecessarily delayed because the attendant on staff was not the scheduled attendant and they were scrambling to catch up."
Cons: "On time"
Pros: "On time and quick."
Cons: "The cabin heat was way too high, I actually was sweating. Boarding took 35 minutes"
Pros: "Nice people to fly with"
Cons: "Seating is a bit cramped."
Pros: "everything was smooth"
Cons: "Nothing bad about the trip"
Cons: "Comfort, timeliness."
Pros: "The planes were on time. On our way down to Cozumel. The pilot let me 4-year-old son see the cockpit. Which was AWESOME, they were great As well as the flight crew on the way down. The trip down was terrific, If AA had this level of service all the time I would fly with them all the time."
Cons: "The trip home was more of what i expected from AA. The check-in process was slow and i was overcharged for my bike, On the way down it was $25 the same price as previous AA flights, On other airlines, it also just counts as a piece of luggage. On the way home i was charged $150 oversized luggage, yet it was <50 lbs and within the size limits. The flight crew was not overall friendly. Very business like and not warm at all. If they were a restaurant i would not be returning. The locks on my bike case were both broken off. the case was not locked. Nor was this done by TSA as they would have left a note as they have previously done."
Pros: "Excellent flight. No complaints!"
Pros: "Punctuality and clean plane"
Cons: "That I bought a ticket for British Airways and found out that American was my carrier to Dallas as well as Paris."
Pros: "Got to my destination..."
Cons: "Seat was tiny. Felt crammed in there. I'm just 6ft tall, but couldn't even use the headrest...it was a back rest. No individual inflight entertainment on a 3 hour flight? I've had screens in front of me for hour long flights. Left 30 minutes late with no indication as to why. Just one of the most uncomfortable flights I've had in a long time."
Pros: "Nothing at all"
Cons: "Never should have been on this later flight which also took off late. And I don't even know where my luggage will end up. I should get an apology and cash for my troubles."
Pros: "Flight was on time"
Cons: "Since we have an AAdvantage CitiCard and are AAdvantage members, it is disconcerting to have to claim your privilege of 1 free bag and priority boarding each time. This is embarrassing at the gate especially since it looks like we are cutting the line. What good is this "privilege" if you have to assert it every time or hold a credit card in hand with your carryon and boarding pass. This should be included in our ticketing at the time of purchase and upgraded on our boarding pass if we use the damn card for the purchase. It is now not a "privilege" but an inconvenience."
Pros: "Prompt boarding"
Cons: "I could never sync in the entertainment app and wifi"
Pros: "Safe, efficient and pleasant flight. I would fly American again. I appreciate getting a soda and snack included."
Cons: "No movie. I got "spoiled" on flight from Seattle to Phoenix with a movie perk. Was looking forward to another on the 2nd leg of our trip. I thought maybe it was an "American" thing. ... but apparently just got lucky on first leg."
Pros: "The crew for the most part were friendly. Boarding was easy enough"
Cons: "The one thing that stood out was that the flight attendants weren't offering water outside of the regular beverage service. I've never been on an international flight where there wasn't almost a constant flow of water. I was so parched after 8 hours. It seemed unusual. Also the seats are so small. I'm only 130 and 5'7" and it was a tough ride"
Pros: "The trip, in general, was nice. The food quality and the available entertainment are good. the crew is nice."
Cons: "I had one of the smallest seats on the jet (window seats)."
Pros: "I liked having in flight entertainment available. The flight crew was very friendly and allowed me to change seats once boarding was completed to be more comfortable."
Cons: "My only complaint was that it was a long time between pushing off from the gate and lift off but that was due to weather. Not the pilot's fault."
Pros: "My seat changed by a crew when I boarded on the plane and I thought that was rude but then I realized that all the row seats were empty. The newest airplane was clean, nice and had a cool entertainment system. All the crews were very friendly, nice and outstanding customer service especially one of the elder crews (Asian man) was very attentive and caring about all passengers. I hope he will be on the board for my return."
Cons: "No so far."
Pros: "Food was goof"
Cons: "Staff never smiled or even said hello. May be culture but better training is needed."
Pros: "The guy at the initial ticket counter was wonderful and took his time addressing my needs."
Pros: "This time the aircraft was relatively clean and new. I sort of trust the pilots."
Cons: "The space in Economy is not humane! And I am a slim 15 pd woman! Food is the cheapest. No headphones offered. Pathetic pillow. Service is minimal. All AA does is get you from A to B. Really doesn't care about the experience AT ALL."
Pros: "The whole crew was great. Made the trip go buy quickly."
Cons: "When we arrived at AirPort El Dorado, we discovered that our flight was cancelled/has been changed without warning us! They scheduled us a new flight with Vianca and Iberia: Bogotá-Madrid + Madrid-Brussels. My partner and I could not sit together on any of these flights! 1 of 10 hours and of 2 hours! I would NOT recommend AA to anyone! This was full responsability of AA!"
Pros: "no problems."
Cons: "No entertainment at all for this cross country trip."
Pros: "Upon leaving Raleigh, N.C. Our plane was carrying a fallen soldier and a marine who accompanied him . They announced this and gave the other passengers the opportunity to walk to an area to watch the very solemn ceremony. It was all done with respect and handled timely. The flight still left as scheduled and arrived on time. Not that this was the most important part. Even if it had caused me to miss my connecting flight, the ceremony for the fallen hero was more important."
Pros: "Porque sus tripulantes y azafatas son super atentas"
Pros: "Nothing. I will never fly an American / American code share flight abroad again. I cannot believe they are flying this plane for trans-continental flight in 2016."
Cons: "1980's 757. Literally, I flew on planes like this in the 80's. American, please get with it. This was a horrendous flight. No in flight entertainment at all in 2016 on a 9+ hr. flight is unacceptable. Couple that with 1.25 hour delay AFTER the plane boarded. You should not be flying narrow body jets on flights this long. Much less ones with old, uncomfortable seats and zero entertainment options. I don't mean to sound entitled but this experience was night and day in every capacity (comfort, food, service, entertainment) from my flight to Europe on BA. Sad. Lastly, I sat next to a off duty American flight attendant who was quite rude."
Pros: "i have to pay $90 for my seat"
Pros: "Liked that they let me carry on my luggage and put it in the overhead instead of making me check it like they did on the flight from Myrtle Beach to Philadelphia."
Cons: "Would like the "whole" can of soda."
Cons: "Showed up 29 minutes before my earlier flight and was evicted. It took 7 hours to get on another one. Then that flight was delayed an hour due to the A/C not working. Frequent business traveler going to avoid AA at all costs from now on."
Cons: "No entertainment on the flight at all."
Pros: "The flight was on time and the crew efficuent"
Cons: "The airplane was cold."
Cons: "Easy up on the dumb mask rule it a little ridiculous.."
Cons: "Would have been nice to be able to recline the seat a bit. To straight up"
Pros: "The crew was excellent, but the seats were very uncomfortable, very hard to find position and they were very soft in the back, so you could feel when people were pushing with their knees."
Cons: "I know that spirit airlines is a very low fare airline but they could add some entertainment and change their seats, even if you're paying for them."
Pros: "Went smoothly."
Pros: "Fast boarding. Convenient. Cheap cheap cheap........"
Pros: "The airplane actually flew and landed - surprising considering how badly things work at spirit."
Cons: "Spirit is a money pit... you arguably spend less on the flight tickets, but everything, and I mean EVERYTHING is extra money: lugguage, weight in excess of 40lbs, any carry on, food, drinks, seats on the plane. Also, flight was super delayes (by over 4 hours) and there was no representative to speak to, no one to give any kind of explanation."
Pros: "Everything was fantastic. Did get any food or drink tho. Staff was phenomenal!"
Pros: "Stewart was most enjoyable while giving safety instructions and we arrived 45 minutes early!"
Cons: "Everything was good"
Pros: "Easy and quick trip Very organized"
Pros: "Service with a smile and great attitude!!"
Cons: "Service with a smile and great attitude!!"
Pros: "The price of my tickets"
Cons: "They charge extra for everything!!!"
Pros: "Everything went as planned with no unwanted surprises"
Cons: "The chairs in the back were very uncomfortable. Too tight of a space!!!"
Cons: "Paying for what should be free or nominally priced."
Pros: "Great price and hassle free"
Pros: "I was impressed with the professionalism and the space on the plane. The staff was great, I am looking forward to flying again."
Cons: "I didn't like to delay."
Pros: "Plane wing tip said howdy. Few was great"
Cons: "Looking back it was what I expected. Great for short flights"
Pros: "This was our first flight with Spirit-friends and colleagues all expressed condolences and negative experiences. And constantly heard jokes about Spirit by comics. Had no hassles, all aspects of the trip were great, other than arriving early at our destination and having a short wait for our gate to be available."
Pros: "Landed early"
Cons: "They cancel our flight back home and refunded our money back and gave my party and I a 50 dollar voucher to only find out that they used a third party airline (Miami international) to get us home and the manager at the airport was the one that told us that. So we barley made the flight back home. Only to get back and my friends luggage was left at the other airport. Never again will I use this airline. It was my first flying experience ever and they happen to taint the experience. Never again. You get what you pay for. The reps on the phone are not knowledgeable and can barley understand you and your situation. If you do use them talk with the airport directly about everything or you will be given the run around."
Pros: "Funny attendants"
Cons: "Delay of about 45 mn"
Cons: "Small plane and it smelled bad. Baggage was way overpriced."
Cons: "very uncomfortable cramped seating"
Pros: "I landed safely"
Cons: "The major delay and gate change"
Pros: "The check in attendant was not able to assign me a seat and I had to wait to the end of boarding to see if a seat was available as the plan was oversold."
Pros: "It was snowing at LaGuardia, we had a gate change, they kept with it and got us to Myrtle Beach. They do what needs to be done to get you where you are going, no more, no less."
Cons: "We left an hour late, which was not their fault (it was snowing) but they did not keep us informed, so we couldn't inform the people who were picking us up. They talk to you as little as possible."
Pros: "The plane had lots of space.. Seats larger.... No longer crammed in like sardines. I fly frequently from SC to NJ and thank goodness for Spirit Airlines!!!! Always on time and very accommodating.!!!!!"
Cons: "I can't think of anything"
Pros: "Our gate number did not appear on our ticket. Thanks to the kayak app we had a general direction to go in"
Pros: "fresh and clean, kind personnel. Informative captain"
Cons: "I didn't like how spirit tries to bait you into having to spend extra money to get an actual seat"
Cons: "1 1/2 hour late"
Cons: "No inflight entertainment"
Cons: "To early in the morning."
Pros: "Got the exit row aisle this time for free. Much more space. Although not many options, food and drink service is fast, and buying pringles and a drink on board is probably still cheaper than buying it at the airport."
Pros: "This Spirit airlines flight was about 1.5 hours late, but on top of that, they double booked our seats so 3 of us had to stand awkwardly at the front of the plane until the flight attendants could figure out if there was room to include us on the flight or not."
Cons: "No other flights available after brief storm in area."
Pros: "The flight was competent and there were no major errors."
Cons: "I was thirsty but didn't have a credit card so I couldn't buy water"
Cons: "Baggage fee is to big"
Cons: "The landing was dreadful"
Cons: "We missed the flight due to slow airport security, and when we got to gate the door had already been shut. We were not allowed on the plane."
Cons: "Length of time standing in lines, not one smile, you gave to be there 4 hours in advance if you miss ur flight, plane so dirty, make you clean the plane"
Pros: "Arriving at my destination safely"
Cons: "The loud talking of passengers all flight long even through announcements and the lack of the flight attendants stopping them. The whole gimic of making consumers think they're getting a cheaper flight when they'll just accrue fees for everything else other airlines include with their tickets"
Pros: "The counter spirit worker Ozzie in Logan Airport went above and beyond to make sure I made my flight! Mr Ferraro who works for the TSA in Logan airport also went above and beyond, Mr Ferraro knew I was in a hurry, he thought I might forget my wallet, and when I took off running to catch my flight Mr Ferraro yelled Sir don't forget your wallet Awesome all the way around! 2 guys made my day and week! It was my brothers 20th wedding anniversary, and these 2 guys Ozzie and Mr. Ferraro truly provided heartfelt customer service that I will never forget! Thanks for being awesome!"
Cons: "Keep hiring great people! All is great!"
