Delays really ruin days, excitement, the overall experience of traveling. Having inaccurate times and poor communication sucks.

Delayed flight, no explanation as to why. Took too long to Exit plane! One would have thought there would have been a rush to get us off…🤷‍♀️

She had no basis for saying we were great and as we didn't have a relationship other than ordering drinks she had no basis for complaining about her Dallas to us. She would leave it to us that she was being put upon by the customers that she was getting paid to serve. Where the Aeromexico flight attendant genuinely enjoyed serving her customers."

Delayed by an hour+ without explanation

No drinks or snacks. Otherwise good flight.

Second leg of the flight was delayed - the copilot apparently injured his back as he left his hotel, and tried to continue with the flight but couldn't. That's not so bad... the issue is that AA had no backup plan. For such a large airport (Miami) you'd think AA would have a plan to cover such issues... but they didn't. So, we got held up for almost 3 hours while they looked for another copilot. Of course, when it's less than 3 hours, passengers get no compensation for AA's screwup. It's a terrible situation for passengers, but it's the crappy deal we have. On the other hand, the gate crew was great... they tried to keep us informed for the most part. My wife had to go up and ask a few times, but they were good about telling her the status honestly, which is greatly appreciated. They should have been more proactive about this, but at least they gave the info, so that's appreciated. Bottom line, that's the only real positive on this trip... hence the second star... the rest of the issues would have garnered a 1-star review.

No food except pretzels were served and no movies available - no comment can be made

Another delayed flight on American. Another missed connection. No gate when we finally landed, sat on the plane for over 30 minutes and we all missed our connecting flights.

Cons: "AA needs to standardize their WiFi. Sometimes it is boingo, GoGo, or Panasonic or something other. Each has a different way of logging in. It is way too complicated. Sometimes you can watch on the iPad in a browser, other times you need a flash player or the AA app. Have a common way of at least accessing the internet, otherwise it can take 10 minutes to log in if switching from a GoGo yo Panasonic service. It is just too difficult and buggy. I am glad I don’t actually pay for the internet."

This is embarrassing at the gate especially since it looks like we are cutting the line. What good is this "privilege" if you have to assert it every time or hold a credit card in hand with your carryon and boarding pass. This should be included in our ticketing at the time of purchase and upgraded on our boarding pass if we use the damn card for the purchase. It is now not a "privilege" but an inconvenience."

Also had that wonderful experience of learning after boarding that you need to have downloaded the app to be able to reach any entertainment options. And, nowhere to plug the device to keep it alive. I didn't realise that AA was competing with the budget airlines like Rouge now..."

Pros: "Seats were small but not noticeably smaller than other major carriers. Non stop to exactly where I wanted to go. Beverage service was a pleasant surprise."

Cons: "Customer service handling flyers not getting on board. Unwilling to work with flyers to come to a resolution. Watched as plane pulled back from the terminal before departure time."
Cons: "$60 charges for each carry on bag and every other airline offers complimentary drink And snack. Spirit didn't end up being a better deal in the end"

Cons: "They cancel our flight back home and refunded our money back and gave my party and I a 50 dollar voucher to only find out that they used a third party airline (Miami international) to get us home and the manager at the airport was the one that told us that. So we barley made the flight back home. Only to get back and my friends luggage was left at the other airport. Never again will I use this airline. It was my first flying experience ever and they happen to taint the experience. Never again. You get what you pay for. The reps on the phone are not knowledgeable and can barley understand you and your situation. If you do use them talk with the airport directly about everything or you will be given the run around."

Cons: "I had no warning that i would have to pay an extra $114 for my carry on. Which is usually free. We had landed in cleveland early and still were late for our arrival due to waiting to get off the plane."

Cons: "absolutely no amenities. small seats, they don't even offer a bottle of water !! Spirit touts itself as a discount carrier, the only thing they don't charge you for is the air in the cabin. Sadly, it is the only airline that flies non-stops from NY. Huge disappointment"

Pros: "The flight from Myrtle to Boston was on time and actually landed 15 min early. My boyfriend and I got to sit near each other and had privacy. Super comfy new seats and room to stretch."
Cons: "Our flight from Boston to Myrtle was an hour and 1/2 delayed because of a crew member being late. Very irresponsible. We were all exhausted and some people had connecting flights that may have been missed. Crew talked to each other a lot and missed some passenger requests. I believe the flight attendant said it was a Chicago crew. The $50 luggage fee is a bit much. Thought the old policy was more fair. I like Spirit for its affordability which is going away now."
Cons: "We were flying out of Latrobe airport which is the size of a smaller house with 2 gates. We arrived 40 minutes before boarding and was told that we could not check in. We were not allowed on the flight and had to pay for another flight that left the next day. We will never fly with spirit airlines again."
Cons: "I DON'T LIKE BEING CHARGED $65.00 FOR A CARRY ON BAG THAT TWO MONTHS EARLIER WAS FREE. IF YOU WANT THE EXTRA MONEY, WHY NOT JUST PUT IT IN THE PRICE OF THE TICKET AND QUIT PRETENDING HOW INEXPENSIVE YOUR AIR FARES ARE."

Cons: "The flight was cancelled without any prior notification. I drove all the way to Myrtle Beach on Friday to find out the flight had been cancelled since Thursday morning. Spent 2 hours with customer service being told that I was notified, until someone finally admitted that I am not the first person to call and tell them this."
Pros: "Spirit is the 'low cosf' carrier so you get what you pay for."
Cons: "Since most people travel with at least one piece of luggage, charging money for the very first piece is absurd."

Pros: "This Spirit airlines flight was about 1.5 hours late, but on top of that, they double booked our seats so 3 of us had to stand awkwardly at the front of the plane until the flight attendants could figure out if there was room to include us on the flight or not."
