Martinique has reopened its airports.
Travelers to Martinique who are over 11 years old must present a negative COVID-19 PCR test for COVID-19 issued within 72 hours prior to departure. They must also present a sworn statement that they do not show symptoms and are not aware of having been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the fourteen days preceding the flight. Travelers who test positive for COVID-19 cannot fly.
On arrival, those with a negative test can perform 7 days of quarantine, followed by a new PCR test after 7 days.
Travelers who have not carried out a test must quarantine for 14 days upon arrival in Martinique.
There are currently 8,730 active cases of COVID-19 diagnosed in MQ and 59 deaths as of Apr 11 2021

Am an international traveler and asked for an exception to be made for the waiver of that fee as I couldn't figure that out while booking my ticket online, the information was so poorly reflected on the website! Spoke to a supervisor on duty and she was extremely rude and terrible as far as listening was concerned! Maybe people can be more human during such times, listen and take some feedback rather than stating a loud no and asking straight away to pay?"

Pros: "All flights to Toronto were delayed due to weather, which really wasn’t bad, but these things happen. The crew, however, weren’t empathetic at all. When it came to food, they ran out and again their empathy was quite lacking. Air Canada really needs to step up their people skills. They will lose customers to airlines that demonstrate that they care (eg WestJet) if they keep this up. This is not an isolated experience for me. They have lost us as a customer. I won’t fly Air Canada again if I have other options, and I’m willing to pay more for the same flight just to avoid them."

I will also let met friends and colleagues know not to use Kayak or fly with Air Canada. Because I booked with Kayak, Air Canada would not resolve the problem"

Air Canada spent little time looking for hotel rooms and told us if we can find one for ourselves they would be willing to give us up to$150 for the room if we saved our receipts. Where can you find a room in Phoenix for $150? You can't. The plane was suppose to leave 6:25pm . This was 9:00pm. No offer of food , drinks nothing. People were tired and hungry. Finally after a lot of complaining, that's when some us were given rooms they gave us vouchers for the hotels restaurant that was closed due to renovations. The agent was to,d this when they reserved the rooms but they lead us to believe there would be food there. We didn't get out until 2:00 pm the next day. And even that flight was late. I was exhausted when I finally reached my destination. I lost over a day of my vacation. I don't want to fly with Air Canada again!!!!!!!!!!"

Cons: "It is the first international flight that do not have any television screens, music stations or any entertainment on board. Alcoholic beverages are not free! We sat in seats that cannot recline - for the whole flight from Barcelona to Toronto. Cabin crew did not keep the cabin clean. Although we flew Air Canada from Barcelona to Toronto and have not left the inside of the airport, we had to go through customs again and almost missed our flight to Atlanta due to that. Airport officials were rude; some of the crew members treated us with disrespect and not approachable. It is the worst international flight ever - even worse than some third world carriers that I used before."
