Pros: "We were boarding with one person in a wheelchair. They were extremely helpful and understanding."
Cons: "All was perfect"

Pros: "Nice crew."
Cons: "Would have liked some better movie choices."

Pros: "Crew was amazing and flight was excellent"

Pros: "Boarding and experience at terminal was good and smooth for the poor weather outside"
Cons: "Plane cleaning and confort, old plane and somewhat mean crew director."

Pros: "The movies."
Cons: "It’s a crowded plane with tiny seats. The passengers in my row who had not been able to bathe did not make the 5 hours go by quickly."

Cons: "We paid $100 per person to choose our seats in advance and then when we boarded we had been bumped to a different location and my wife and I were sitting across the aisle from each other, unable to share a tablet to watch movies. The cabin crew was not helpful at all so we traded seats with another passenger who had also been bumped from his preferred seat. The entertainment system didn't work for an 11 hour flight.. are you kidding. We pressed the call button to see if it was just our inability to sign in but no crew member came. After 15 minutes the call light went off so we pushed it again, but the light was still on an hour later. We asked about it during the meal service and were very rudely dismissed. Long after meal service was finished we asked one more time to see if anything had changed and the crew member brought us a tablet to use that was loaded with movies. I'm not sure why they didn't do that earlier. Then 50 minutes before landing they literally pulled it out of our hands to store it away."

Pros: "Slightly frayed due to weather- we were kept up to date"

Pros: "The crew was pleasant."
Cons: "The boarding procedure was quite confusing with one agent giving verbal instruction but intercom instruction was contradictory. The entertainment for a long haul flight was a bit disappointing, compared to Air New Zealand it is definitely lacking. The comfort was subpar as well with seats lacking adequate cushion. Needing to repeat everything in French!!"

Cons: "Flight left two hours late and provided difficulty in Toronto"

Pros: "The crew was sweet and friendly."
Cons: "When one is trying to watch a movie, you can't hear anything. The connection was very very poor."

Pros: "The young competent Air Canada staff at the gate and her supervisor were kind enough to give me the last seat for the 11:45 am flight to Toronto on Dec 18th, 2017. After more than 24 hours stranded in Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport due to power outage on Dec 17th, 2017, I was so relieved as I sat on my seat, when an air hostess asked if I would like a seat in business class. She said they randomly upgrade passengers to business class when seats are available. So it all ended well, I got home to Toronto safely in (business) class. Thank you Air Canada !"
Cons: "There were no Air Canada personnel to help us, inside the international terminal during the power outage at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport on Dec 17th 2017. It would have really helped, even if only one personnel showed up at the gate to provide support and some reassurance."

Pros: "we had a very good seating distance in row 15"
Cons: "the cabin service was simply bad: very limited meal offerings, drinks were not cold, flight attendants were pretty arrogant."

Pros: "My wife had injured her knee before our trip and was having difficulty walking. Air Canada provided wheelchair assistance every part of our airport transfers between Atlanta and Japan. Thanks so much !"

Pros: "I liked how the crew was helpful and wanted to help everyone with their luggage. they didn’t disturb me in my sleep and didn’t walked around a lot. The flight timing was on time and it landed on time as well so that was very satisfying."
Cons: "I didn’t like the sitting of the airplane. It looks more like sitting in a local bus and its not very spacious. On an average these days most people in Canada are tall and above the height of 5’7 feet. I didn’t like how seats are small and have less space for legs and plus the next person to me keep disturbing me cuz he was as tall as me and we both hardly fit in the seat. I am only 6 feet and slim and still had issues. I mean for domestic flight that’s only two hours I can manage sitting in a uncomfortable position but if it was a long flight then i would definitely not be happy and won’t fly with Air Canada again."

Cons: "Difficult to cancel flight. Could not do on line and when I called I went through a menu that said that no one was available and to call back later. Didn’t even state what later meant. Subsequently ended up not canceling in advance since very little ability to call back once into work day."

Pros: "flight attendants were very nice"
Cons: "not even peanuts! seats seemed even more crammed together than usual"

Pros: "Flight was delayed 6 hours"
Cons: "Getting stuck at the boarding area for 6 hours in normal weather with no particular hazards for flying. Crew was good. They did their job."

Pros: "No wasted time, they load you up and get you where you want to be."
Cons: "Be sure to gate check anything larger than a small backpack or purse. There is little room on board for carry-on's"

Pros: "Flight crew was vey nice and flight was on time."

Cons: "Delayed, missed connection"

Cons: "The condescending flight attendant at the gate who wouldn't assign me a seat and gave me guilt for not paying for extra leg room or preferred seating when Air Canadas site wasn't working"

Pros: "plenty of room, media player, wifi, nice selection of snacks and meals."

Pros: "Staff was extremely pleasant."
Cons: "Being charged for seat selection when I could not even select a seat. My seat didn't even have an outlet with USB jack next to the monitor like other seats. I had to use the old worn-out headset input jack on the armrest. Flights were delayed both directions."

Pros: "How the captain kept everyone in the loop about what had happened, and was able to make things work."
Cons: "When we were told that the co-pilot missed his flight to montreal from toronto, it seemed like the Air Canada crew did not plan ahead and asked where the co pilot was - aka, why did it take until we were just about to take off for the team to know?"

Cons: "My experience with red-eye flights is that the lights go off, the crew disappears and everyone tries desperately to get some sleep. Not so with these guys - lights on and crew regularly pushing the drinks cart down the aisle. And a lack of free snacks as well (not even pretzels??)."

Pros: "Staff were good, probably doing the best they could with what they had to work with."
Cons: "I'm 6'4" and a Air Canada Rouge 737 isn't built for guys/girls like me. Give us a bit more legroom!"

Cons: "Poor boarding by zone number which all customers just block the lineup old plane outbound"

Pros: "Everything, good food, good people, good times"

Cons: "We did not make this flight due to the first flight being over an hour late. This caused us to miss our connection to St. Louis. While they rerouted others on the flight, they did not reroute us because we didn't check any luggage! Their reasoning was we had a chance to make the connection. But they made us wait in a line for 10 minutes to be told that despite our requests to go to the gate. By then it was too late. We then had to fly stand by to Chicago and stand by again to get to St. Louis."

Pros: "Pilot was able to make up for delayed departure and flight arrived on time."
Cons: "Plane needed better cleaning - Lots of stuff (food, paper, dirt) between the seats. Entertainment system not working properly - screen kept going blank."

Pros: "everything was perfect"

Pros: "Short enough flight."
Cons: "Entirely too little leg-room. Crew kept banging my elbow and knee with food cart-didn't really care either."

Pros: "We were able to switch to an earlier flight. gate agent was very helpful"

Pros: "The crew was great"
Cons: "Broken toilet for this flight"

Pros: "The food was airline food, the movies worked"
Cons: "Given customs form in German, when asked for English flight attendant said they were out. asked another later and she brought it immediately. After herded through security (again) and customs, with no explanation on what to expect, our connecting flight's gate was in the basement. It looked like a third world bus station. No place to sit, totally packed, could not understand announcements, only bagel place to eat that was out of most everything. I will avoid Air Canada and Toronto airport if at all possible."

Pros: "Personnel were friendly aircraft was clean"
Cons: "NA"

Pros: "Getting through customs was very easy."
Cons: "The wine is awful ."

Pros: "I flew in and out of Montreal to see if it was better than Newark or Philadelphia from upstate NY. It was all right. The food on Air Canada is not good AT ALL. The crew were very nice and had a good sense of humor. They were the best part. And at least I got an aisle seat--in the very last row of the huge plane. There must have been 500 people on board, and it was full to the gills."

Pros: "All of our luggage arrived at our destination in a timely manner. Staff was helpful."
Cons: "Checking in our suitcase took exceptionally long."

Cons: "We got a hotel in St. Louis so we'd be plenty early for our morning flight. Got to the airport more than 2 hours early, checked in and waited. They announced over the overhead speakers that our flight was delayed due to mechanical issues. Then delayed again. Then cancelled. We were on the phone with both the airline and priceline ASAP. By "on the phone" I mean "holding for the next available representative...", which was more than an hour wait for both. The airline didn't have another flight they could fit us on until next week. We asked priceline to get us on the next available flight. We held, were disconnected, held, held more, disconnected, held more...until the day was gone. That evening they finally said they booked us on a 6:15 a.m. flight. I asked for an email confirmation and when it didn't arrive several hours later I called back. "Please hold" was the catch phrase of the day. Eventually a rep came on the line and said that we had a 6:15 a.m. flight, gave me the flight number, etc. and said the email would arrive shortly. We went to bed feeling good. We got up at 3 a.m. to get to the airport by 4 a.m. The airline didn't have anything on us. We had two hours to get this straightened out so we weren't TOO worried. "Please hold" When the priceline rep finally came on the phone she said we had reservations and the airline should let us on. Even though it was 5 a.m. now there was a long line at the airport check-in. When we got to the front of the line the guy dug deeper into his system, said he could find our reservation, but that priceline just hadn't purchased the tickets. I told this to the priceline rep on the phone. "Please hold" We watched as our flight left. We spent the day trying to get priceline to get us on a flight, but I was never able to speak to someone able to get us on a flight."

Cons: "You put me on Delta once I got to Detroit. Confusing and exhausting when you're not use to different airports and flying."

Pros: "Smooth boarding. Polite staff."
Cons: "Check-in person did not attach priority tag to luggage (business class) until i argued with her. This is the second time Air Canada has done this. We paid a lot extra for this service and should not have to quibble with staff in order to receive it. There was no lounge in Charlottetown, but that's not the airline's fault. However, the Air Canada lounge at Pearson was shabby and poorly outfitted. Shameful."

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Delayed 3 hours !"

Pros: "Crew was very nice and attentive to those on the flight."
Cons: "The idea to download an app before departure is ridiculous for movies. I toughed it out instead."

Pros: "Every thing was on time. I really like booking with kayak...so simple"
Cons: "Air canada doesn't give a snack with your drink...where as west jet does."

Pros: "Flight was short. Crew was very good"
Cons: "Not much to like in a short hop in a small plane."

Cons: "Not even pretzels"

Pros: "Boarding went smoothly. The entertainment (monitors in the seat-backs) was excellent. The crew was friendly and helpful. The food was much better than I expected on a flight."
Cons: "I flew economy, so I didn't expect luxury, but that's a very tight fit for an 8-hour flight. I understand that industry standards have gone in this direction and that it's necessary to remain competitive, but at some point the industry needs to take into account the actual size of passengers. What are the seats now, about 16" wide? With so little leg room that I couldn't cross my legs if the seat in front of me was reclined. I'm a slim woman, about 130 lbs., and I was very (very) uncomfortable. I can hardly imagine the discomfort for the poor woman next to me (a plump post-middle-aged lady). I would definitely fly Air Canada again, as the staff was great and the overall experience was good. But I'm looking forward to the end of this trend of reducing space per passenger."

Pros: "Friendly responsive flight attendants."
Cons: "Dinner not so great."
