Despite the terrible weather situation, the crew made sure that all passengers were safe before taking off. We were all thankful that Delta made sure to take all precautions to insure a safe flight. Even though the flight was delayed, we were able to still make our connection in Atlanta We're thankful for the effort that Delta and the crew made to get us in the air, but making sure that everything was safe. Being a GA private pilot myself, I know all of the procedures that must be followed in order to get that flight safely off the ground.

Boarding took a long time. Taking off took a long time. I spent over an hour connecting, disconnecting repeatedly from the Wifi just to watch the last 15 mins of the movie I watched on my first flight. Wasn’t offered ice with my drink. They passed me twice to throw out my garbage. And the guy next to me had his arm in my ribs the whole time.

I was a mildly annoyed, but figured maybe it was policy and he was shy and didn't want to debate the matter. When he took care of the older couple behind us, however, things got really strange. He asked them whether they wanted pretzels or peanuts, but they misheard him and asked for a ginger ale. I happened to know that he did have ginger ale, since my wife had just gotten one, but rather than just pouring the old folks a drink, he repeated himself. "Peanuts or pretzels?" They misheard again and asked him whether he had a diet ginger ale. Again, rather than just pour them the drink, he repeated himself. "Peanuts or pretzels?" This went round and round a few more times -- like a poorly designed computer UI that refuses to accept anything except the correct input -- before the old couple finally figured out the disconnect and picked their snacks before their drinks. Very weird."

When we checked in - they asked us to both check in our carry on luggage. The reason why is because they said they don’t think they have enough space for our carry ons. I told the crew member checking us in that other people that was checking in with the same hand carry size luggage with us had no problems taking it with them. For being about to be on a 17 HOUR FLIGHT we should be ALLOWED to have our carry ons with us! We take carry ons for that reason! I had to argue and prove my case to the crew member to atleast keep 1 carry on with us. I thought that was an UNACCEPTABLE reason for us to check in a carry on luggage when we had a 17 hour travel time ahead of us. Not a happy costumer here."

They automatically rescheduled the flight only giving us 25 minutes to reach our next flight...impossible. so, after calling, we were re-booked again and forced into a 13 hour layover in Amsterdam. Our original flight plan had 4 hours. so, because we are a family of 7 with a baby, we had to buy a hotel room to rest, costing us a lot of extra money we had not planned to spend. We contacted KLM for help with the cost but were rejected. We also lost 5 bags somewhere between Chicago and Lusaka, but after 2 days, we received them."

Flight to Florence delayed. All passengers took a bus to Pisa (1.5 hours away) to fly Pisa to Paris. We missed our connection and flew next day. All information regarding the delay online was incorrect ("system not yet updated") . So calling Air France was useless as they could not assist. Not all flight delays can be avoided but many improvements are needed throughout this process.

The staff especially in Chicago where we began this awful experience couldn't care less about our situation. Then AIr France lost our luggage and provided no help in locating them. We had to rely on folks who had friends working in Zagreb Airport to locate them. Air France is incompetent, insensitive and unprofessional. If you have an important trip avoid Air France - they treat you like captives not customers."

Pros: "Traveled fron SFO to CDG on AF in business class on an A 380. Lounge in SFO was smallish and not many choices in the food bar. Boarding was smooth. my second ride on A 380 in business and this trip reminded me quickly why I did not care for the A 380 on my previous trip. It is a huge plane with a huge sized business class which makes the cost less worth it compared to a Boeing. The crew were extremely helpful and caring. The food was acceptable. The seats on the plane were not comfortable in the lying position. Took a cab to our hotel in Paris (1st Arr) for a flat 50 euros. No meters."

I asked if there was a way we could call them and see if I could just get a flight to London from Manchester. They said no. I tried to get a number to call myself still nothing. They sent everyone from the flight onto a coach bus to Leeds. Once I arrived to Leeds, I spoke with Ben and explained my situation. He said there were no more flights to London or anywhere near there. And there wasn't any flights to Austin, TX which was my end point either. He explained there wasn't anything they could do except fly me in the morning to London. I agreed but then come to find out he had to send me back to Manchester. Now I had already had my arrangements to stay in London for the night so I did not have much money left. He said they would take care of the accommodations and the flight to London. I was VERY PATIENT. Within this he was telling me how close they were to closing. I explained I needed everything in place before they even left because I was traveling alone in an unknown country or city. He arranged a cab to take me back to Manchester and a hotel to stay in with dinner and breakfast available. I thought everything would get better but of course it didn't. Ben clearly knew I had my checked bag and carry on. When I'm about to board the flight to London they charged me 60 pounds for my CHECKED BAG. Now this was already included on flight to begin with if all of this had not happened. The attendant did not want to listen to my story and kept passing me to another attendant that said there's nothing they could do. I had to pay since I couldn't leave my belongings. Once i arrived to London. I had to get my bag and RECHECK IN MY BAG. AGAIN they tried to charge me for my checked bag. This time I had enough of your airline and explained it was all included in my flight and I went on a rant with the attendant. He just stared and printed out the ticket for my bag. Didn't look at the computer. Didn't even explain why it's all of sudden taken care of that I don't have to pay anymore. I had no patience to hear his excuse but just wanted to get back home. This has been the worst experience I have ever had with an airline. Frontier isn't even this unorganized. Shouldn't there be a process for these kind of situations already?"

Cons: "Broken suitcase. I have traveled quite a bit with these hard sided suitcases over the past six years and witnessed some pretty rough handling. None of that caused any damage, so I am not sure what they did to break one down the entire length."

The entertainment equipment on the aircraft was not working and my wife and I were not able to see a movie or anything. Not a good way to take a long flight. It has been 5 days since our flight and while I am happy to say the bags have been "found", they still have not been returned to us. If all goes well, we should have the bags later today, but it's tough sledding to go for 6 days without any of your things."

For example, "breakfast" at the last hour leg of the trip from ORD to DUB consisted of a ham and cheese croissant ONLY-no options; no yogurt; no fruit; nothing. It was a "take it or leave it" proposition. Then, to add insult to injury, on the trip from Dublin to Barcelona, there was only "food for sale"! What is that about? I mean it's a four-hour flight; one might think that aside from Pringles and Kit-Kat bars some thought might have gone into the nutritional content of the "FOOD"!!! This was quite disappointing."

Seating was very poor for an overnight flight I expected more room and at least would have liked to sleep with my head on the tray but with the passenger in front of me leaned back there was barely enough room to get up and use the bathroom"

Cons: "The airport is a joke ! People couldn't be more rude ! Trying to print boarding pass was beyond difficult the staff was unaccomidating and there were 4 screaming babies for 6 hours straight ! Also we tried to change the flight and couldn't unless we pay over $400 !!! We will NEVER fly with you again"

Cons: "I don't like that if I get sick and have to go to a hospital and have to change travel dates, Aer Lingus has no policy to reimburse me for the flights I can't make. So I buy new tickets and lose the money on the old tickets. That is terrible customer service and makes other airlines more attractive."
Cons: "Aer Lingus lost my husband's baggage and 3 weeks later it has not been found. We had to buy all new clothes, inc a new suit for our wedding which is what we were traveling for."

Cons: "When our flight was canceled we were refused service repeatedly by both airport and phone support, and forced to stay in a hotel. On the rescheduled flight we were forced to relinquish priority seats. This was the worst airline experience I have ever been a part of. We sat on the tarmac for 5 hours before the flight was canceled and no other options were left. Our second flight to replace that was rescheduled at a different time without notifying us. No service, no offer to recuperate lost time and money, no compensation offered. Flat out terrible service."

Cons: "There were 150 people scheduled for this flight that only had 25 seats on it. All they could day was that it was either a glitch on the computer. Or a glitch when people bought tickets. Luckily I made it to Chicago on time, because I asked before everyone else found out. But you thought they would have told us way before the flight was scheduled to leave."

The most difficult part was to see one flight attendant working hard while another sat in her jump seat and read her Bible (commendable, but still....) Overall, I'd say it was a bare-bones flight. The cheese and crackers available for purchase for $8.49 was modest but good; it's hard to screw up cheese and crackers. I won't choose American again to make this particular leg of travel (again, I bought the return from an agency that said it was a British Airways flight, but ended up being operated by American Airlines.)"
