Pros: "Never flew Copa Airlines before. I would definitely fly with them again. Flight from ORD to PTY was top notch. Crew and aircraft were excellent. PTY to UIO was an older aircraft that didn’t have all the amenities that the newer plane had, but the crew was still excellent."
Cons: "We were scheduled for a 7 hour layover at PTY. When we arrived we found out the plane we had just gotten off of was continuing to UIO. That flight never showed when I was booking the trip. It would have been nice to receive some kind of notification that a better flight option had become available."

Cons: "I was in line 1.5 hours before my flight and was told that I had to take the next flight. There was even another passenger behind me who apparently made the flight. The lady behind the desk appeared to be junior staff and had to wait numerous time to ask her co-workers for help. By the time they helped her, she told me that it was too late to make the flight (even though I discovered later that the departure time was even postponed)! As a result, I arrived in Medellin 4-5 hours later than planned, causing me to miss a tour that I had scheduled for that afternoon, for which I was not refunded. First time using Copa Airlines was unfortunately not a good one."

Cons: "Our flight was in two (2) segments. One from Santiago, Chile to Panama City, Panama and, two from Panama City, Panama to Boston, MA USA. Our flight from Panama City, Panama to Boston, MA USA was cancelled due to snow. Not the Copa fault; however, rebooking the flight from Santiago back through Panama to Boston was very difficult even though we call the day prior after noticing the cancelled flight on the Copa website. We were successful; however, it took multiple calls and multiple delays on hold to make it happen. No e-mail confirmation was ever received; however, we were able to confirm the flight via the website. We were also unable to confirm the flight status on the website. Maybe it was a special flight or something, but from the customers view, it was discomforting."

Cons: "I've had flights canceled before, but clearly American Airlines/ JFK is not equipped to manage. American Airlines online hung up on me after 24 minutes of being on hold. I waited in line for 2 hours to get on another flight home and the attendant first suggested to fly me to Charlotte then Cleveland where I would arrive a day late after I'd been traveling with my elderly parents for 24 hours. Additionally, once we changed flights and had to go to Newark, it took an hour to print (yes, print) our new itineraries for United and then when the cab should have arrived immediately, we waited 45 minutes. I was displeased."

The Italian counter people sometimes took >10 min. to check in individual families. I saw two agents at one check in where the two seemed to just be chatting?! We were in that line over 45 minutes! Our own check in only took 15 seconds! Gates VERY far from the Check In counter."

The fee for changing flights was more than the tickets were initially but when you cancel it its tough break for us."

Cons: "When arriving to the airport it was a bit confusing first finding where to get our connecting flight, that may have been an airport problem. But once we got to the right gate our plane was cancel or re-gated/scheduled three times. We had to walk all over the airport with less and less time to spare to make our flight out. When asking for direction or where to go we could never get a straight answer, it seem as if no one knew where to send us. I felt if I was being herded and hustled on getting a flight home, I had no choice in the matter of getting my flight out. If it wasn't for another passenger flying on the same plane we may have missed our flight all together because she was getting alerts on her phone for changes or updates. Once on the flight the air-condition was linking on one of our seat and we were first told to put a blanket over our head until take off, then we saw some empty seats so we asked to move. Once arriving at Cleveland airport we only discover our luggage had not arrived yet, not only did it not arrive we were told it had not yet left London Hethrow Airport and we would maybe get it in 24 hours. This was a problem because some of our personals we needed were in that luggage and we just had to make due and wait and see. We got our luggage the next day only for me to notice my lock was not on my luggage I do not know if this was taken off or I mistakenly left it off but I really do not think I did but I will check with the hotel to see if I left it there. I have always liked United but this really made me think on who to plan my next trip with later this year. And certainly will do my best to avoid coming through New Jersey. :("

Poor service at the gate and then we got on the plane and sat on the Tarmac for an hour with no explanation again. The air wasn't on and not drinks or snacks were offered for our wait time. a disappointing way to end an otherwise great weekend away."

Cons: "I was originally scheduled to fly to Cleveland from LGA at 8:30PM. At 12:30PM I got a text from United informing me that my flight had been cancelled. My only rebooking option on the same day was a 9:45PM flight out of Newark. Newark is significantly farther away from my apartment (2 hours vs. 30 minutes) but I took it because it was my only option. After a 2+ hour trip to Newark and going through a disastrous check-in process I found out my flight was delayed until 10:30, then 11, then 11:41. Hardly any real announcements were made until the end when the gate agent stopped hiding. No apologies were made and wasn't even offered water for the inconvenience."

Cons: "When all of the passengers and crew are at the listed gate well before boarding and the gate is changed to a different terminal it adds a lot of stress to the situation. To the crews credit they did not let it effect their professional attitude. I was highly impressed by the employees of the airline to keep things on time and positive. Overall that made the difference between being a bad experience and becoming one of the best flight experiences I have had in years. This flight crew should be considered an example of how to treat customers well."

It was the last flight out for the night.... Had to sleep at the airport for 5 hours until another flight in the morning. Pros: "The captain, crew and gate personnel were very friendly and helpful, despite what I think had been a long day for all of them too. I appreciated their efforts to provide drinks for everyone despite the crazy short flight."
Cons: "I was rather annoyed that the inflight video monitors played commercials for the entirety of the flight (almost no one elected to pay $8 for TV on what was supposed to be about a one hour trip). The cabin was obnoxiously bright as a result, and it was difficult to avoid being distracted and irritated by the flickering. United should have those screens turned off unless users pay for them-- it would save valuable energy too, wouldn't it? I was also frustrated that we were delayed a number of times because of mechanical difficulties, but I'm grateful that we took off knowing everything worked. Between the late in-bound crew and the mehanical hold ups, we could have all taken the bus and arrived sooner."

Pros: "The crew were nice enough about it."
Cons: "There was some problem with the inbound aircraft, so we got delayed 4hrs. I should have been there when we took off! The flight was oversold & packed. Theres a surcharge for everything, including TV! But they announced that because of the delay, they would turn them on for everyone. Except they intermittently worked for half od the plane. The wifi was also spotty. Given the poor state of that equptment, I guess I should be happy we got to our destination at all."

Pros: "Generally, I've been satisfied with United flights, but this one tried anyone's patience."

Pros: "The quick time"
Cons: "The plane was too small I was claosterphoic and there was a guy coughing on me the entire flight."
