"The cabin crew service was better for this flight than a recent San Francisco to Chicago leg of the trip. The food service also was better. Unfortunately there were flight disruptions at the layover point in both my "there" and "back" legs of my trip (San Francisco to Boston)."

Cons: "Flight was delayed for hours- weather related, but at other destinations- so this flight had to wait to be rescheduled. Also they weren't able to give any idea when the flight would be boarding- they just kept sending text alerts that it was delayed another half hour and no updates were listed on the screens. When the flight finally left, after I had been waiting for over 5 hours, we were told that they would be flying low, so there would be no beverage service. It would be nice in these situations to simply have bottled water to pass out quickly, or make the announcement prior to boarding so people would be able to bring their own beverages."

Then get an e-mail at 1:45 am the day of my flight which was scheduled for 7 am that the pricing value was incorrect and my booking was canceled. I flew from New York to California where I was going to get a connecting flight the next day but my connecting flight purchase was terminated. I have never experienced this and I was left stranded and unable to get to my destination. I had transportation waiting for me and I had to find out the morning of my flight. All I got was an e-mail stating they tried to reach me but that was a LIE because I did not receive any phone calls. The flight I booked was booked right away so no time elapsed for the price to go up. When I called to complain to the company they were unable to help me and no supervisor or manager was available. I was told to call back in 3 hours for someone to assist me but that I was not going to be able to get on my flight because now, the morning of my flight the price was $200 more then what was advertised when booking. This is unacceptable and unprofessional."

I couldn’t because their website was inaccessible. It kept kicking you off. You couldn’t update yard your passapprt number Air attendants waited for a half hour before arrival for food service. And then they rushed you through it because they were yapping away during the flight and we were landing."

After finally checking in and getting through security we realized we had to walk from terminal E to terminal A for the flight...not a short distance. We raced, not stopping to grab a snack or drink thinking we could get something on the plane since the flight was 3.5 hours. Got to the gate and found this incredibly long line to board. The gate agent ignored those of us who paid for zone 1 boarding and just told everyone to board. We finally boarded and got comfortable, taking off about an hour late. After all that, the flight attendant announced that they had no food or drinks but if anyone wanted a bottle of water it was $2.99. Will never fly Frontier again."

Cons: "Tried to change flights because of my mother's passing and had so much frustration to change the flight it became too much to deal with. I will be happier to pay more for a different carrier in the future than fly on Frontier."

Pros: "It got me where I needed to go, albeit with a little effort and stress. Crew was pleasant. Thank you."
Cons: "6 people overbooked, who might not have gotten seats. I was one of them. I recognize there was nothing I could have done either way but it was unpleasant to hear I might not get a seat on a flight I bought a ticket to a month ago, regardless of the price. And the return flight was dismal. Had to wait an extra 3 hours for maintanence on the plane (fine, would rather it get fixed than have an issue in the air) but we were told there would be vouchers worth some amount sent to our email after we landed back in cincinnati. It's been 3 days and I have received no such vouchers. It also turns out I payed $45 for a personal bag that was I guess covered under a personal bag? I recognize this as being partly my fault, but when I went to get my ticket "personal bag" wasn't an option, so I didn't think I had one, or my single backpack actually was $45 to take with me. Was not a terrible experience. Just not a good one."

Pros: "I liked that I could fly to my destination with a non-stop flight. I also liked the (what seemed to be) final prices of the tickets."
Cons: "I did not like that I had to pay for seats when I already bought a ticket for the flight. It was a hidden fee and unfair to charge. The carry-on bags were also a hidden fee. I figured as much that to check a bag would be more expensive, but to have a carry-on cost as much as a checked bag? Not cool."

Pros: "I arrived alive. Flight was not delayed. Water was free."
Cons: "Leg room and seats lack an appropriate amount of cushions and space for long flights. The seat back trays are a joke. My tablet was bigger than the tray. I also dislike the extra charges for EVERYTHING that was not disclosed on the purchase through Kayak like seat selection, carryon bags, early on zones, etc. No snacks were offered on the flight. I understand that this is a discount carrier, but after all was said and done, I could have paid the same for a major airline and had way more room and comfort. No pre-Check. WTH??!!! The airline attendants bumped me going up and down the aisle EVERY single time and never offered an apology for bumping me and I was NOT in their way."

Cons: "My flight from LAX-DEN was delayed. Ended up missing my flight, as well as my flight from DEN-CIN. We as passengers were not told where to go (we waited two hours to hear any kind of news). We were told that the Frontier staff would know what was going on at the DEN airport once we arrived, but they did not. We then waited another hour to be told where to go. I was given a voucher for my hotel, food and transportation. However, my transportation voucher did not work. I waited over an hour for a bus that never came. My transportation in the AM back to the airport was not covered either. I ended up paying money out of pocket both times when it should've been free of charge. The staff on the airplanes were OK, although at times unprofessional."

Cons: "Flight delayed from 8:00 to 12:15 AM. Checked in at 6:00 PM, left airport to eat, returned back 2 hours prior to departure and TSA was closed and would not let us back to the gate. Frontier was no help. Missed the flight, had to drive 2 hours from Cincinnati to Columbus to get another flight at 6:00 AM"

Pros: "Its a cheap flight... that's why we all book Frontier..."
Cons: "There is no excuse for waiting 45 minutes on the runway before parking the plane. It's claustrophobic, the plane was so incredibly hot temperature wise, making everything very uncomfortable. It was extremely frustrating. Your flight attendants have always been good though."

Cons: "getting delayed for 8 hours and then getting locked out of security and being made to pay for an extra tickets. actually filing extorsion charges"

Cons: "Frontier is now a leader in PRICE FRAUD & Extortion! They believe in Dishonest pricing & Deliberately deceiving their customers. They slapped me with an $80 fee to board my flight! Extortion!! So my $170 airfare suddenly increased in price by 47% !! This is a total scam. Worse than a bait & switch scam (which is illegal). Even the smallest tote bag with a toothbrush & overnight clothes will incur extra big fees for carry-on "luggage"... Where is the FCC & the consumer protection bureau on this?...Fees for basic carry-on items needs to be made ILLEGAL!! I'll never fly again with such a dishonest airline. Sign me up for SouthWest every time...I don't care what the price difference is, I refuse to give my money to mobsters.You blew it Frontier! Never Again."

Pros: "Heather was great with all of the young kids on the flight. A nice greeting, and helped put the kids in a good frame of mind for the trip. The crew hustled given that we were only in the air for 80 minutes!"

Cons: "paid the extra $74 (discounted - bundle rate) fee to check bag and carry on and select a seat! crazy... i was wondering why a 4 hr fight from cincinatti to san diego direct could POSSIBLY cost just $90... now i know.. it DIDNT... it cost $164 each way... lol. NOT. also - the crew was just lame. they didnt look at you ever and you had to flag the down after they passed you to hand over trash... basically just spent their time socializing and had an overal BITCHY tone... that you didnt matter to them. will avoid this airline from now on."

Cons: "Everything about frontier. I understand it is a budget airline and I don't expect the basic comforts any other airline would provide. However I do not appreciate the hidden fees they will find a way to slap onto a traveler no matter how much research you do. In reality they are probably one of the more expensive airlines although they have no customer service and you could not possibly imagine a more uncomfortable flight. I also no longer trust them to to get me to a destination on time. I will never fly frontier again and kayak should consider no longer booking flights with this airline. When I tried to complain they referred me to kayak as if it was kayaks fault that my flight was delayed."

Pros: "Arrived at airport at 940 pm which was great because we were early but didn't get off the plane until almost 12am due to an airplane being worked on at our parking gate and also had to wait for local sheriffs office to board the plane to escort a lady off the plane when we finally did park and during that time the flight attendants were yelling at the paying customers because they had their phones out. One flight attendant even smacked a phone out of someone's hands! Will take a miracle to get me and my family to ever fly frontier again. Worse flight experience ever."

Cons: "I dont even know why you are sending me a survey of a flight i didnt even have... Plus, you didnt send me an email to let me know that the flight was canceled, i realizado that once i got to the airport... you should do something about it"

Cons: "Absolutely awful experience. Arrived 3 hrs ahead of time to check luggage and the line was wrapped all the way around the airport. No one working to direct the lines. Only 3 people working to check luggage the week before christmas. Almost missed our flight because the line was so long. Was advertised as some free seating options but when checked into flight 24 hr ahead of time had to pay $16 a piece for middle row seats at the very back of the airplane. Flight was delayed 3 hrs because one of the flight attendants did not show up. Will never fly frontier again."

Pros: "The price of the flight was extremely reasonable. The onboarding process was smooth and the landing was great."
Cons: "The only thing I dislike about flying Frontier is the comfort of the seats. Of course we would all like complimentary snacks however considering you can bring on your own it's not a deal-breaker."

Cons: "Had to pay for drinks and couldn't recline the seat even a little. Also, microscopic tray tables. Having to pay to choose your seat and get a lemonade on a flight is not my idea of comfort or convenience."

Pros: "The humor of the crew, the skill of the pilots"
Cons: "Seats are impossible to get comfortable in. The cabin temperature was too warm to he point I felt air sick."

Pros: "The no-frills (cheap) pricing."
Cons: "We had about a 3 hour delay with no explanation. The tickets told us to be there for boarding at the normal time though, so we were essentially threatened with missing the flight and had to hang out in the airport for several hours. The seats don't lie back at all, and the airline is very basic. Then again, you get what you pay for and we were expecting that."

Pros: "Boarding was quick. Enough room for carry on items."
Cons: "Seats are tight/uncomfortable. Flight was delayed with no notice until we looked at flight boards after getting through security."

Pros: "Boarding. Charging for baggage limits what passengers can carry making boarding and sitting quicker"
Cons: "oK with me to buy my own snack and pop. Can see that it may catch people by surprise as passengers not notified earlier that except for water have to purchase own snack."

Pros: "had to wait over an hour for my bag to arrive at baggage claim. Horrible since it's cheaper to check than carry on. Can't depend on prompt service @DFW."

Pros: "Crew was friendly, humorous, and accommodating."
Cons: "Charging for any kind of snack or drink is pretty frugal and ridiculous. At least having some complimentary drinks would be nice. Most airlines have a movable headrest, complimentary music, and recliner chairs. I understand cost savings and maximizing profit, but I feel like frontier has gone too far and seems unconcerned with customer contentment. Also, we arrived at the gate 40 minutes late because our gate was occupied by another plane. An alternate gate could have been chosen earlier than it was in the end."

Cons: "Frontier has a ton of hidden fees...including no free drinks/snacks on the flight, fee for carry-ons. Seats do not recline so you're stuck in 1 position the whole flight. Tray tables were the same size as an iphone."

Cons: "I didn't like that you could not have a carry on and personal item but others did without paying."

Pros: "Aircraft was clean, staff were really friendly and professional, no flight issues"
Cons: "Did not like size of pull down trays, do not like paying for a cup of coffee and sure as hell do not like being asked to leave. A tip for the attendant when using a credit card. Do not like to be gouged for amenities that were once free."

Pros: "The time of the day the flight was supposed to occur"
Cons: "Flight was delayed 12 hours before scheduled to take off; didn't have a pilot. Having to pay for seats and luggage; Seats did not recline; Flight took off 45 minutes late; when we arrived in Denver there was no place to park the plane; waited for an hour and 10 minutes to get off the plane; captain kept on giving us inaccurate information; lots of apologies but it was enough to prevent me from flying with them again. They have gone from a great airline to a horrible airline - you get what you pay for"

Pros: "got there safely and our checked luggage went with us ; plus the employees were nice but that's about it. Could've been worse but won't Frontier to make it so in the future."
Cons: "We were late arriving on both flights, online check in didn't work, had to pay extra for ANY seat and for all other things that aren't normally paid for on other airlines and the airline overall is obviously barely making it. I thought that major carriers such as Delta and United were bad but Frontier and so many others that are cut rate airlines make them look not so bad which is why I'll go back to flying with them and Frontier will probably never see my money again."

Cons: "Flight delayed. Disorganized boarding. Generally uncomfortable an unpleasant."

Cons: "The flight was delayed for 4 hrs and that caused many of the passengers to be irate by the time the flight boarded. The boarding crew should have been a bit more competent and comforting to assure passengers."

Pros: "Seats were comfortable and I arrived safely. Grateful for these aspects of my trip."
Cons: "Employees were rude from the time I checked my bag, through to the end of the trip. Inaccurate information about flight times provided before and during the flight made it stressful to make my connection. The hidden fees were ridiculous, such as $1.99 for seltzer water, and a $40 (FORTY!!) bag fee. Note that you cannot pay in cash for anything. Not so unusual, but a pain since my debit card was lost. I was not even offered a cup of water on either flight of this trip. Overall, I would NOT choose to fly Frontier Airlines again unless absolutely necessary."

Pros: "For a traveller, without any luggage or even a small carry- on, with a very nominal fee, it is the best & economical way to travel. For example, in my case, my son & myself had to take all his stuff like sofa, bed, dressers, chairs, tables, & kitchen wares other household items in a U-Haul & drove his car ti Cincinnati, Ohio (as he finished his studies in GMC & had to start his residency in children hospital in Cin......After unloading all the stuff in his apartment, I had fly back to Atlanta with only a small backpack, there was no sense to pay about $250.00 with Delta, it was a logical way of coming by Frontier costing less than $50.00. with comfortable seats within an hour."

Pros: "This was my first time on Frontier. Like any other airline the process from getting on the plane to my destination was just like any other. I had low expectations, as I do with nearly every flight I go on and was pleased by the fact that nothing was truly below my expectations."
Cons: "I'm fine with the lack of entertainment on a flight considering most people bring laptops and tablets and other ways to keep themselves occupied. I never pay for in-flight food or beverage because of the prices but was kind of surprised nothing was complimentary. Not shocking by any means considering the price of the ticket. I was under the assumption there two separate fees for baggage, one if you preferred to check a bag and one if you carried on a bag. Had I of known that my carry-on would be checked I would have brought a larger luggage container to get the most for my money. Again, though, hard to beat the price of the actual ticket."

Pros: "The staff were great, the flight was on time and smooth. I was hesitant about Frontier because of all the bad reviews but my experience was excellent and When I fly again it will be with Frontier."

Pros: "The staff was very kind and the plane was clean."
Cons: "Around the time we should have been starting our descent into Denver, the pilot came overhead and said we had been re-routed an hour north due to storms and would land in about another hour. It would have been nice if they had notified us of the change as it happened. Also, when I bought my ticket online, I was left thinking I had to purchase a carry-on despite the fact that it would fit under the seat in front of me. As it turnes out, I didn't have to and was out that money. I was also caught by surprise by having to pay extra for my seat selection."
