Pros: The flight never occurred. The first leg of my flight from Ho Chi Minh was cancelled and I was not informed. I discovered this when I went to check in. I called Kayak to resolve this since I had confirmation of the booking and was placed on hold. After 2 HOURS I hung up. At roughly 4:00 am I spoke with someone at Kayak who confirmed the flight was cancelled and that I was not contacted. An offer was made to put me on another flight a day later but that was impossible because of needing another Covid test. I was able to arrange another flight that was more expensive.

Cons: They have to take the prize for having the absolute slowest customer service in the world. When I booked my tickets, I emailed customer service to make sure I didn’t get a center seat. It took them two months - TWO MONTHS - to email me back, to tell me there was nothing they could do. I also had to be reticketed on my flight from Tokyo to Hanoi. It took them 3 1/2 hours to do this. I had to sit in the airport for 3 1/2 hours to get my ticket changed. Unbelievable. They could’ve chiseled it in stone faster than they issued it.

Pros: Let's face it - flying b-class is pretty awesome, so for $3300, it was really great. Loved the food selections, though I did feel the food was a little on the heavy side. I had the Japanese fare, which was lighter, but a little more salted than what I prefer - but over all very good. Service was amazing - the crew is super-nice. The plane, a massive 787 jet, absorbed the turbulence like it was nothing. It was like riding in one of those Cadillacs from the 1970's. The lavatories were big enough that I could actually stand up straight (and I'm 6'0"). The seats were pretty good as well - they had a feature for extension of the seating surface to allow for more thigh support (which I love) as well as great lumbar support. the movie selection was OK - neither great nor bad, and I ended up watching 4 movies during the flight anyway. ;)
Cons: I preface this section by saying that I'm being very nit-picky here - there's not much I can really say, except that the seats, while they will recline to a flat surface, which is great for dozing off, they are angled about 15 degrees so you're constantly sliding down them in that position. Also, there could be more support for your head in the reclined position - I had to futz with pillows and a blanket to get that comfortable. However, the reclined position was the most comfortable, and I could get it so that I was sufficiently reclined with my legs extended and horizontal, while laying back without sliding down. This was sufficient for resting. I'm only mentioning this because I flew a business class flight on Delta in 2015 which had ridiculously amazing seats that reclined all the way flat and horizontal. On the 9-11 hour flight from Tokyo back to San Diego, which will take place mainly at night, this would be a very useful feature.
Pros: The crews were polite and reliable. No bossy or mean like other airlines. they moved prompt, no running or fast walk on aisles, so that passengers can ask things easily. Food was much better comparing with any other companies. The boarding time was delayed one hour, however we landed japan 2, 3 mins later than the estimated arrival time. Landing technique was beautiful. American, United, ANA which I flew caused me have a deep Earache. I didn't get any pain from this flight. I am already scared of returning flight with American airplines.

Cons: Boarding was actually good. It was checking your luggages in and getting your boarding passes which was POOR. Passengers on International flights going out of the Philippines are advised be at the airport at least 3 hours before scheduled flight. Well, the JAL check-in counter opened at 650AM for the 950AM flight (exactly 3 hours before the scheduled flight), with maybe some 50 people already in line. With most passengers coming far from the airport, it will be very very helpful if the counter, even at least one counter, would open earlier, so that passengers who came in early could check in early and wait comfortably in the departure area.

Cons: I'm an entertainer, very well respected in Hawaii, Japan and the world. and has always traveled JAL. I travel with my guitar and has never had a problem carrying it on board. The staff will usually come a get it and put it in the closet if it didn't fit in the overhead. But I guess recently rules change, and was told I would have to check it in because the closet space is used only for staff and business people. Was told that the 737 was to small for my guitar won't fit overhead. I have taken 737's all my life with Aloha Airlines and told them that my guitar would fit. That gentleman was a JERK! and was'nt very helpful, and told me I couldn't take it on board and I would have to take it to the package store and have them box it up. That spoiled my whole vacation.

Cons: I have been flying JAL from HK to Boston numerous times and by far my favourite (over Cathay and don't even need to mention United). However this past trip gave me a new perspective. Given it is a Japanese airline and all, it is normal for them to be Japanese-centric. We had an a-hole sitting in front of us at 51F during our flight to Narita and he was trying hard to argue with us in English, and even told us to move to another seat. When I had the flight attendant (her name is Sako on flight JL736 on Jul 26) over to discuss (in English) she went to the guy in front of us and started apologizing to him. For what??? She then came back to us speaking in Japanese and brushed the issue away. Sorry, no this was not acceptable, even though my fiance was okay with the situation.

I was double-masking and I do not have allergies. I wonder if it had to do with the chemicals used to disinfect the plane between flights? I was not very comfortable, to say the least. Everything else was great, though, but I don’t think I will be flying again anytime soon.

Pros: Standard AA domestic flight. Once we were boarded and underway, things were fine. Crew was friendly, the aircraft was cleaned on the turn from the prior flight, and we didn't sit on the tarmac too long when arriving at DFW. Normal operations for AA domestic.
Cons: Unfortunately, normal operations for AA domestic means boarding 20-30 minutes late, which delayed the arrival a bit. In general, AA could provide more accurate updates and boarding information for their flights. For example, if the inbound aircraft arrives at the time my flight should be boarding, I want to see an updated departure time, rather than maintaining the "on time" status right up until five minutes before the new boarding time. Generally it takes 25-30 minutes to turn the plane for the next outbound flight.
Pros: Boarding at Springfield was fast and simple. The check-in agent were friendly and efficient. I especially appreciated that the flight arrived early into Dallas. I had a little more time to find lunch before my next flight.

Cons: Flight was delayed due to poor maintenance that caused issues before take off. Of course safety is important but that is why maintenance should be done routinely and prioritised accordingly. The pilot on the first delayed flight (new airplane) was clueless, his exact words "... our analysis team from midwest needs an hour to figure out whether we can fly or not" This is after we have boarded the flight. Then after about an hour of sitting in the plane, he says "rumor has it that a new plane will be towed in..." What? Why didn't they stop boarding and just get the new plane in. And I don't appreciate the emails saying flight is delayed without giving any reason for it. AA could have certainly done a better job of communicating the issue. Further the flight crew including the pilot were acting like victims. If it were an Asian carrier like Singapore Airlines, the crew would be smiling and providing assitance courteously since they represent the airlines. Not flying them again.

I asked at the luggage check-in at O'Hare International Airport if they can check it all the way through as I had planned to go outside of the Narita airport for the layover. They told me I couldn't check the luggage all the way through and that I had to pick it up from baggage claim once I land in Narita. From there I had to check-in the luggage again on the same day. When I took my luggage out from baggage claim, I tried to check-in and the counter crew told me I was given wrong information. I had to keep my luggage with me until my flight the following day. On my return flight from Manila and another overnight layover in Narita, the check-in crew at NAIA told me I could check-in my luggage all the way through, and that they also allowed this at my outbound flight to Manila. The check-in crew at O'Hare International Airport gave me wrong information.

Cons: Where to start? How about when I checked in at the counter, I asked the check in attendant to add my FF number on my ticket. They said they'll get right to it, handed me my tickets and sent me on my way. It never happened. Not a big deal, I can request the mileage post flight, but still something. Look at my tickets, that I had booked a week in advance and specifically reserved an aisle seat. My ticket says "Priority Verification," whatever that means. Turns out it means you don't have a seat, and you get the worst of the worst. So what seat is the worst? How about the middle seat in a row of 5. The middle in a row of 5, on a transoceanic flight... What kind of airlines has 5 in a row? The guy next to me spent $300 for his ticket, I spent $1200, for the same flight, and this is the kind of seat I get? The plane felt like it was straight out of the 90's, carpeted center walls, old seats, tiny tv's. Overall, a plane that felt had not been updated in decades. Took 20 minutes for a flight attendant to respond to the flight attendant sign. This wasn't during beverage or food service, just a normal time at cruising altitude. They also don't have eye masks. Every other transoceanic flight I've been on has them provided in the seat pocket, American Airlines doesn't even have them on the plane! Economy class has no USB or power outlets, the in flight entertainment is about a 5" screen in probably 260p resolution. Decent selection of movies, but you have to join the movie in progress or wait approx 10 minutes for the next movie to start. Legroom was okay unless you had one of the entertainment boxes in your way, then that takes up 30% of your space. Some of the tray tables do not have cup holders, on the top, bottom, or anywhere on it. Also my table was tilted, so every time I put a cup on it, it slid right off. Seems like a minor complaint, but eating dinner and fighting a sliding cup the whole time is a pain. Dinner and breakfast tasted decent, but you can tell American is cheap on the food. Most airlines will give something like a main course, a bread roll, fruit cup/salad, juice, small dessert. American gives you the main course and a fruit cup and that is all. Crappy utensils too. Overall, if I had paid maybe $200 for the flight, I wouldn't have any room to complain, but because American holds the government carrier contract for FY17, I had to fly on them at exorbitant cost, and would never recommend them to anyone.

Cons: The seats recline so far that the headrest screen ended up way too close to comfortably watch movies or effectively use the tray. The people in front of my wife and I kept their seats fully reclined, even during the meals, and it was very uncomfortable. One of the meals had a pepper sauce that had such a strong smell that I was nauseous until the end of the flight. While the chicken meal I ate was fine, there wasn't much chicken at all.

Cons: While booking the tickets I was told that my luggage will be checked in till my final destination but I had to collect them at Narita airport. I had to cancel my plans of sight seeing at Tokyo downtown due to this.
Pros: This flight was cancelled; I don't have any remarkably positive comments about it.
Cons: This flight was delayed for several hours after we had already boarded (due to maintenance, I think), then was unexpectedly cancelled. Air Canada staff did not communicate with us clearly about the cancellation. We asked several staff members for help and some of them simply walked away; seemed like staff did not know what was going on. We over 90 minutes for in-person assistance, only to be directed to a telephone to re-book our flight. We missed an entire day of our trip to Japan. I'm very disappointed in my experience flying Air Canada.
Cons: Food was terrible Flight was not full and I tried to get bettuer seating but I was told there is none available. Then after boarding they had someone else with the same seat number. Very strange

Cons: Our flight was delayed 2 1/2 hours at Narita and then again in Toronto for another 2 hours. Plus my family and I were tired from the 11 1/2 hour flight and when we get to check in the attendants were very rude, almost like it was a bother to them when we asked for help, it was probably because I interrupted their conversation. Every airports kiosks are different and that was our first time going through there so we just wanted to make sure that we did it right. Then when we get to the gate where we're suppose to leave out from, I asl the attendant there who I can talk to about forgotten bag on board. She then goes to tell me that I need to call the 800 #, Abd I said but I'm here at the airport can't they just bring it to this gate and she then got an attitude and said that they couldn't do that and I would just have to go to the lost and found which was downstairs. I was on the line with lost and found before I went to ask her any questions, and I mentioned to her that I had been on hold for 30 minutes, and she said they weren't going to answer. So I then asked hire am I suppose to get my bag then? She repeated about calling the 800 #, and at this time a lady runs up the counter thinking that she missed her flight. She shows the attendant her phone and is hysterical thinking that she missed her flight and the flight attendant told her just go sit down it's not here yet you didn't miss it. The customer then starts yelling in another language and the flight attendant just tells your just go sit down calm down and go sit down. She's doing all of this while I'm standing there she pulls out her phone and then told her co-worker I should put her on YouTube the way they do us. All the while I'm standing there because I still have more questions and she just ignored me like I wasn't even standing there. I more than likely will never fly this airline again, I'm paying for their services and to get treated like this, no thanks!!
Pros: Overall air cabin crew service was great. Food was average. Seat was comfortable. Entertainment was great!
Cons: My elbow keeps pressing on the light button on the remote on the right arm rest which was slightly irritating. But nothing major
Pros: I liked how the pilot gave updates and info, especially if they anticipated turbulence. Entertainment was super for such a long flight. Loved the Oscar nominated films.

Cons: I was sat next to a dementia patient who were urinating on himself and the seat all over. I endured the smell for 10 hrs. The crew gave me a mask for it. No accommodations. I did not eat or drink obviously. He had been given special accommodation or sat with a caretaker
Pros: The crew was very helpful. They gave me some medicine when I got a headache.
Cons: One piece of my chicken tasted weird, chewy, and just not like food should be. The rest of it was ok.
Pros: It was a mostly empty flight, so there was plenty of space.
Cons: The only bathroom was locked for landing, which I understand is a policy, however a woman sitting next to me REALLY had to go, and being at the back of the plane while everyone was leaving, could not go ask for it to be unlocked. I felt bad for her... Also, it was not clearly written or easy to understand where our gate was at Cleveland Hopkins. It was a small flight, but it could have been clearer.
Pros: The seats were unbelievably squishy. And the crew was quite rough.
Pros: I loved the entertainment options, we must of had a very old plane on the trip there because it lacked entertainment unless you brought your own tablet/smart phone or paid to rent one. The food was terrible both directions, please fix that because it's a long flight to be hungry!

Cons: the seats offer little to no lumbar support. this was midigated a little with the pillow and blanket, it didnt really do much. for someone who has lower back issues, this was a big problem, a reason i am dreading my flight home. on top of that, it was my first time flying internationally, so i had no clue i had to hunt down my flight via flight time board.

Cons: Got delayed for almost two hours so rush hour in Japan was my welcome party and it was horrible, when you are on a tight schedule two hours is two much, lost my flight connection to Hiroshima, had to go on bullet train which added 4 more hours instead of 1:25 on a plane.
Cons: Missed it due to our first flight being delayed- ended up with ANA air. SCORE!
Cons: The flight was 3 hours late. At some point we boarded the plane then asked to disembark it as we were still not ready for take off. They told us there were some weather issues in Toronto ... I looked at 3 different weather channels who said that the weather was mostly clear in Toronto with a few scattered showers.
Pros: Although I had to walk quite a way to get to my seat, once I got there, I had a very comfortable and enjoyable flight. The food was good, the bathrooms were close and easy to get to, the crew were friendly and helpful.
Cons: I wish there were more wholesome movies or audio books to choose from.

Cons: We waited nearly two hours AFTER WE BOARDED THE PLANE for a flat tire to be changed, or so we were told. In typical airline fashion, we were told several times that the delay would probably take about 15 minutes, turning into nearly 2 hours. In combination with the change I described above and the 9.5 hour flight to Tokyo, we were completely done in for 2-3 days after we got to Tokyo.
Pros: As a 6'5" guy, I was worried about spending ten hours on a plane. Air Canada made the flight enjoyable with comfortable seats (even in the economy class) and high quality flight attendants.
Pros: Comfortable seats with great entertainment options. The flight attendants were especially wonderful. They were always smiling and good conversationalists.
Cons: Boarding was delayed and there wasn't really any organization. A flight to Beijing was boarding at the same time at the gate right next to ours and passengers were getting mixed up, causing longer boarding. Some better signage or direction from staff would have been appreciated.
Cons: once again quantity and quality of food was below that provided by the five other international carriers I have used in the recent past

Cons: My tv screen froze and when a meal was served I let the flight attendant know. She said they would reset it. An hour later it hadn't been reset. I turned on my call light. No one ever came. A male flight attendant proceeded to chat with a woman about hockey for a half hour or more and ignored my light. He went away for a bit and came back and chatted some more. For the last 3 plus hours of the flight my screen didn't work.
Pros: There were some pretty recent movies and some older ones that I remember watching when I was younger. Both options were good.
Cons: Despite there being both new and older movies, there seemed to be a limited number of movies and shows. I feel like there could have been more, but it might be just me.
