Flying in "steerage" is not comfortable as humans get larger and airplane seats get squeezed smaller. Please unsqueeze! Cabin crew members were excellent. Other than that, Europe was great!"

I don't mind waiting in line but out of the 2.5 hours I waited in line about 30% of that time there was no attendant at the ticket counter, 50% of that time there was only one attendant who spent her time helping first class, and only 20% of the 2.5 hours I waited in line was there still only 2 attendants helping check people in. Because of this, I missed my flight."
Cons: "My son was flying on United from Colorado Springs to Denver, then on to Seattle for Thanksgiving. He rushed through as quickly as he could, but the door to the place was closing and it left 10 minutes early. United recorded him as a 'No Show', and there policy now is to cancel the entire ticket is you miss any segment of a round trip ticket. Thus, his entire $900 was forfeited, he couldn't even pay a change fee to catch a later flight. I hate American, and now I hate United just as much. These airlines shills have been allowed to go out of business when they last filled for bankruptcy. We fly in quite a few international airlines, and outside of Alaska, Jet Blue and Delta, maybe Southwest, US carriers are absolutely bottom of the barrel and it's clear that their employees don't care whatsoever. Will never book again in United or American. I'll try Amtrak before either of those carriers."

The airlines lost my rescheduled flight request and I had to make a new reservation in haste upon the evening of my flight at a significantly higher price. I don't think that it's likely that I will be flying Spirit any time soon"

Cons: "My flight was delayed 7 hours. I never recieved an e-mail letting me know of this even though I gave my email when I bought the tickets so that I would get updates on the flight. I checked the flight status before leaving my house at 2am and the flight was still on time. After driving 2 hours to the airport and going through security I found out that my flight was being delayed 7 hours and no representative was even at the gate to speak with. All I was given was one $14 meal voucher which didn’t even cover a full meal at the airport. It’s told that the issue was mechanical but I later found out that te first flight had been over booked and the 1pm flight didn’t have enough people on it so they made everyone on at 6am flight wait until 1pm to fly out. Once on the plane, the seats were hard and uncomfortable and the plane was cold. I am extremely disasiflied and will never use Spirit again."

While i did have a layover in Chicago and this indeed was only one trip, Spirit denied this and said that since I had a layover, they were two separate tickets. This is unacceptable. My ticket said Chicago was a layover. It is absurd to be charged twice for baggage on one single trip. Last time I fly Spirit!!!"

Friendly staff, quick line to drop off baggage, quick boarding process and the clerk at the gate changed our seats so we could be together and gave us the 3rd row. My flight was going to be on time but the decided to give that plane to the people heading to Vegas because they had been delayed all morning. Spirit told us we would be delayed four hours, then 30 minutes later they said the flight was completely cancelled. I had to go back to the main terminal to pick up my bags and had to go to the Spirit Airlines ticket counter to rebook and get a refund. The line was so long and slow it would have taken hours to talk to someone from Spirit. I called Customer Service and was on hold for 50 minutes before I could finally get refunded. This made me miss the last Spring Training game in AZ! I've been flying for 35 years and this was the worst flying experience in my life!"

Cons: "We had an hour and a half delay! They made us sit in the airplane due to some paper work and could not fuel the plane until everything was done. The excuse they used was that the paper work was "new" and that is why there was delays. The inside of the plane began to get hot and a passenger was so red to her face she was about to pass out. In addition there was no running water in the restrooms."
Pros: "This is the first spirit airlines flight in years that was not only on time but early. Everyone was kind and professional. This was a real change from our previous spirit experiences."

Pros: "I appreciated the flight itself. But the check in process was TERRIBLE and much too costly even thought I did everything I could to prepare ahead of time."
Cons: "I am frustrated that I cannot check in unless I have a spirit account. I didn't have an account meaning I couldn't check in meaning I couldn't pay for my luggage. I was charged extra because I had to take care of all this at the airport, when I had tried to do this online. Next time I will fly on an airline where I can actually check in remotely and pay for things before I get to the airport."

Cons: "The flight was delayed. I still can't get use to the fact that you don't get a complimentary drink and snack. Also I feel nickel ed and dimed to death with paying for your luggage etc."

Cons: "The self serve boarding pass kiosks were down, there was a line of at least a hundred people at the baggage drop line, the girl at baggage drop didn't give me a boarding pass and also didn't tell me that digital passes won't work to get through security so I went all the way through security and had to come back, the flight was over booked, there was blood on the interior cabin wall next to my window seat, the seat back pouch in front of me had garbage in it from the previous flight, the seats don't recline, you can't get a cup of water onboard - water bottles cost $3.50."
Cons: "Extra fees for everything, i.e. food, carry-on baggage. No reclining seats. Tighter spaced seats than other airlines. I didn't know this about Spirit. I will choose a different airline for my next trip."
Pros: "If you literary just need to get you on a plane, no bags, and don't care about any in flighy luxury, then sure, fly Spirit. If you need to take any bags whatsoever or care that your flight is half decent, DO NOT fly spirit. Bags are $40 a pop each way, and if they're heavy, you're looking at an additional $25-100 fee. Basically the bags end up costing more than the flight. -7/10 Comfort? You wish. You'd be just as comfortable sitting on concrete. 0/10 In flight snacks, drinks, and other in flight goodies? Well you're gonna have to pay a lot. Are you sensing a theme here yet? You want nuts? Too bad. Gotta pay. A tiny cup of water. Nah, we only have bottled water, gotta pay. But hey, if you're really that hungry or thirsty I guess it's there. 1/10 Air fare? Dont have a car? Need to get somewhere 1000+ miles away quickly. Well you came to the right place. If you just need a flight, and nothing else, you're not gonna get anyone cheaper than Spirit. 10/10 (I feel disguised even saying that) TLDR: Don't fly Spirit. Deceptivly expensive with all there fees. And everything about them pretty much sucks. If you need a budget flight line, Southwest or Frontier are far greater choices."

Cons: "From the lack of representatives and overall procedure to board the plane, I could not be more disappointed and annoyed. The flight attendants talk too much on the over head speaker, the seats too tight (even for me at 5'3-120lbs), the fees are outrageous. It's worth to buy at a more reputable airline. I arrive 13 minutes before my flight takes off and the door closes 15 minutes, so be prepared. Especially since it's the representatives and broken kiosk that make you run late. Now, since there is one Spirit plane I have to wait an additional 24 hours to head back to Chicago. I've now been here 48 hours past my stay. Save yourself the headache. Don't do it. I don't foresee this company staying in business very long. It's my own fault. I didn't listen to my friends. You get what you pay for."

I should have flown on United, since the price was the same or less due to zero fees for baggage. And the aircraft seeting overall was not comfortable and up to date. Seemed rather old and worn."
