The board at the airport and online even said it was an on time flight up until the moment it was originally supposed to depart (not board). So they knew ( because they didn't let us board) but never updated their info. A simple email would have saved me from getting up 5 hours early just wait 5 hours in the airport. Fu ck them for that!"

Cons: "My trip of a lifetime to Peru (Choquequirao, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Lake Titicaca) has been severely impacted because my luggage was not put on my flight. Computer record showed that I did not board despite my boarding pass being scanned and my passport number entered at the gate before I boarded. I left for a 6 day trek to Choquequirao, Peru without any of the gear that I needed for this trip. I had to acquire the bare minimum in a rush the night before leaving for the trek. I'm 10 days into my trip and still do not have my bag. Central baggage claim has been less than sympathetic and not at all proactive or helpful."

Many people on my flight were worried about connections because Delta delayed our start by over 30 minutes to "change a switch," whatever that means. Then for passengers with short connection times, they should NEVER be seated in the rear of the plane when it takes 20-30 minutes for the rear-seated passengers. Not very consumer-oriented."

We had to ask for a wet tissue and clean it up. That was of no use too as it wouldn't scrub off. My wife was feeling under the weather and so we asked for a blanket. The blanket was hardly a blanket and more like a towel. We then luckily could switch seats as there were 2 vacant. But, the air conditioner was leaking water in the seat to our left. The crew was callous and just stuck the passenger with some napkins saying it does that. I don't fly Delta a lot and my experience in this trip isn't inspiring much confidence."

So after everyone had boarded, at the minute we were supposed to take off, they beg for 2 volunteers to get off the flight to compensate for the weight of the excess fuel. Eventually 2 people b3came annoyed enough to get off and take a $200 voucher (probably for another delayed flight.) so we were late taking off for that. At our destination there were clear sunn6 skies. Extra fuel was needed for that. So I was stuck in a seat the size of a child’s car seat for an extra 40 minutes? And when we could finally get off, my legs had fallen asleep ffrom being too squeezed in for that relatively short flight. When will the airlines focus on the passengers’ safety & comfort and not on excessive profits?"

Cons: "United was unorganized and they acted as if these cancellations were no big deal. Those two days that we missed could have been spent at work. Now I have wasted PTO time that I can't get back and wasted money at our resort that I wasn't able to get back. One of the agents at Bradley International Airport Sammy put her hands on my friend and screamed in her face USING FOUL LANGUAGE with a line full of people and their children waiting to check in. It was unprofessional and uncalled for. We did get police and management involved. The overall experience was terrible."
Cons: "Our flight got cancelled three times before they finally switched us to Delta. We missed an entire 2 days of our vacation that we haven't got reimbursed for. One of the agents that worked for United Airlines put her hands on my friend that I was traveling with and the police got involved. It was an horrible experience and no one was trying to accommodate us for our troubles what's so ever. I will NEVER fly United again. A waste of time and money."

My husband and I looked at our tickets and were surprised to see the seat assignments I had chosen when I purchased the tickets were not there and instead the boarding pass said "see agent". She then assigned us seating in separate rows and handed us new boarding passes. No explanation. We looked at them and handed them right back and said no thank you, we had purchased tickets together. She said, "this flight has been oversold" and motioned for the next passenger to step up. This really upset my husband who told her, "Wait, we are not finished discussing this!" He went on to explain to her we purchased our tickets together with seat assignments - Together. She then said if we didn't reclaim them when checking in, 24 hours prior, the seats then became available again. What kind of logic is this?! Ugh! If I wanted to be treated like cattle I would have stuck with Southwest! We. It's back to Southwest for us. At least they are up front with their rules."

Had to wait until they finished serving water instead of pushing their cart forward so I could return to my seat. Shortly after, the pilot made an announcement to please be respectful of the fasten seatbelt sign. I’m a seasoned and obedient passenger but sometimes the need for a trip to the bathroom is immediate. I think the flight attendant could have been a little nicer about it."

You think you are getting a good fare but the fees have made my trip almost three times the initial fare. United is testing similar "economy" fares. None of this information is presented upfront so it's a bait and switch scenario. Also, trying to reach a human being is nearly impossible. I feel sorry for the customer service reps, they should get hazard pay. They have to try to justify these ridiculous policies. Save yourself money and frustration and NEVER FLY FRONTIER AIRLINES!!!!!!!"
Cons: "I asked if I could sit in an empty row after take off and was told no because that's for the crew. Passenger seats do not get reserved for crew who want to chill out and eat and drink. It was empty and I simply wanted to rest against the window and nap."
Pros: "I really appreciated that a supervisor credited me a full refund after I discovered mid-day before my 6:30 p.m. Sunday flight that the Frontier flight had been delayed, for no apparent reason, by nearly 4 hours, which would have gotten me into Denver at 1:45 a.m. Not acceptable, so I changed to a United flight, but the customer representative initially told me I could not get a refund (only a credit), but then the supervisor that I asked to speak with agreed to give me a full refund, and he was very polite and accommodating. I did appreciate that. Thank you."
Cons: "For no apparent reason, certainly not weather related, Frontier delayed their San Francisco to Denver flight nearly 4 hours, which would have gotten me into Denver at 1:45 a.m. This was unacceptable, so I switched to United, and it was much better and I got to Denver at the time Frontier was originally supposed to land. Just getting seats together on a single flight combined with baggage costs (we had two bags that were carry on size but checked they because the carry-on luggage cost is so insane) we should have gone with another carrier. Despite arriving seriously late Denver they still kicked everyone off and conducted a security check for over an hour. Once again there was only a single attendant and boarding took FOREVER. They didn't even have wifi on the plane so my kid could watch something on Netflix."

On the O'Hara side, there was a very long wait till baggage was delivered to the carousel --Over 35 minutes. Seats were not real comfortable due to the fact they don't recline at all."

Even the pilot suggested we write Frontier and complain. Sounds like they have major issues."

Cons: "The airline had a hidden Carry On Luggage Charge that blindsided me. The combined cost of taking a carry on cost over half the amount of my roundtrip airfare for three people. On top of this the flight was delayed by more than six hours and we were not offered any sort of refreshments on the flight free of charge to compensate for the large delay and overall made the experience poor. I will never fly with frontier again and would neither recommend the company to my clients or friends. I demand a refund on the charge of my carry on luggage as that was a shady business practice and poor service by frontier airlines for also delaying my flight."

I then had to uber back fourth costing me $100 to get to and from the airport, when my friends dropped me off on time. I arrived 2 hours before my flight, and then it got delayed, then switched gates, then the lady at the desk told me that they were boarding at 410. I arrived at 409 at the wrong gate and to run to the other gate to board which was then 411 and they said they were departing at 410. Absolutely terrible. Never again."

Cons: "The seats are so tight that you are literally wedged into them like a tight shoe. I have mild claustrophobia and as soon as I sat in my seat I began to have a panic attack (first time in my life) the plane wasn't even off the ground and I literally could not move. The seat in front of me was jammed against my knees, my shoulders were wedged against the window and the back of the seat was straight up with no wiggle room whatsoever! I seriously considered clawing my way off the plane before it left the ground because I was in such a panic. On the way home I had to upgrade my seat to the $60 front row seat (thank God they had one left) which gave a slight bit more leg room and I made it home, never to fly on that sardine can again! Come on! I get they want to cram as many people as they can on a plane, but we are not pygmies here! Plus, when I checked my bag in Denver, my sister put her bag on first and it was under weight (42.5 lbs.) and we joked to the lady "Marta" that her bag had lost weight because we were both at 50 on the way there - and she yanked my sister's bag off the scale and threw it on the conveyor BEFORE she would weigh mine, which weighed in at 52 pounds. We asked her to allow us to put a few of my things in my sister's bag and she said NO her bag was at 49 pounds already - which was a lie, we all saw the scale when it read 42.5 lbs.! We tried to reason with her and she just ignored us and yelled "NEXT" and would not allow us to get our boarding passes until I pulled 2 pounds of clothing out of my bag and crammed it into mine and my sister's purse/personal bag. She was a flat-out power hungry witch, for no reason, my sister's bag was easy to open and had plenty of room. I'm so done with them!"

Cons: "I am not Active Duty military anymore, but I'm still a reservists and have the proper identification. I was traveling to Denver to continue on for a fellow military members memorial. I consistently got harassed about not having orders and paying for my carry on. Eventually, I was able to board the aircraft with my small carry on after begging for a good ten minutes. I feel like there are a million reasons for military members (and their families, for that matter) to travel. And most of the time, the free baggage is more important when you DONT have orders because we don't get reimbursed in times like these. We all travel all the time. I think your military customer base is something you DO NOT want to lose, and word of mouth is also an effective way to have that happen."
