$292 Find Cheap Flights from Costa Rica to Boise - Compare and Save

The airline was fine, but I did want to share about Kayak's error through Underpricer. The original booking was purchased with ANA, and Kayak booked it with United. This is a mistake that should not be happening, since the price I paid was with ANA and that was my preference. I appreciate the efforts done to make this right by paying for the seat preference, but sitting in the back of the airplane under economy is not enough to make this error right. ANA Airlines was the experience I wanted considering this was a life time experience that my family and I wanted to have as part of our Japanese experience. Please work on your affiliation with Underpricer to make the right bookings that the customer pays for. In my situation, I could of paid less for a United ticket versus my original payment with ANA Airlines.

The flight to Houston the agents were not very helpful

In Liberia airport 5 min before our departure the airport was closed for takeoff for 30 min. Upon arrival to IAH we didn’t have any available gate and waited taxing another 40 min. As a result we arrived for 1+ h later. The walkway to the passport control in IAH is about 1-2 ml long. After the passport control you have to pass the security check again. Only 3 out of 16 checkpoints were open and the line was enormously long. As a result, even though we supposed to have 2.5 hrs gap in between the flights we missed our transfer. United rebooked us for the next available flight early morning and provided free hotel and meal vouchers through.

The staff was nice, however boarding taking 2 hours. That’s insane. Overall very bad experience, a lot of turbulence and when landed in Chicago was horrible. I don’t think I’ll flight with UA again.

It was good, although we could not get our preferred seats, we did enjoy the whole experience from Costa Rica. I still don't understand why our luggage is not the first to come out at the band.

Movie selection is good. Crew did not understand mileage program and were no help. Sick later. Food?

I love United was disappointed we had a two hour delay, however the Pilot did say safety first.

Since when do I have to pay for my checked bag? I have a United Explorer mileage plus silver card and I was charged for my checked bags. This also is an international flight. So I would like an explanation to be clear before I choose an airline please?

I was at the back of the plane with earphones, and I could still hear the chatty flight attendants; I wasn't able to sleep at all.

Boarding was terrible. My wife uses a wheel chair and she was in an incredibly hot closed metal cargo box for close to 20 minutes before getting on board
