Scores according to KAYAK customer reviews
Cons: "checkin process at cusco airport was very bad. there was a line 1hr long to checkin suticases and there was no one at the payment counter to accept payment for suitcases."
Pros: "Crew was nice"
Cons: "I could have been allowed to take an earlier flight and you could offer complimentary beverages"
Pros: "The pilots were polite and arrived early at destination."
Cons: "Could provide a menu card, like every other airline. Instead of listing every single option to everyone on the plane. And maybe use bigger cups that hold more than 3-4 ounces?? Especially when the airport takes away peoples liquids (see below). Ridiculous. Not necessarily with flight, more with Lima airport “security” - they took away ALL bottled liquids more than 3 oz. AT THE GATE. Even bottled water purchased 20 feet from the gate. And they couldn’t explain why. Just got a bunch of shrugs. Why take sealed water purchased at their own airport away before an international 8+ hour flight???"
Pros: "Nothing. It was a short flight with nothing special to mention."
Cons: "The flight actually leaving on time and not half an hour late."
Pros: "We were able to get to our destination safely without incident. Plenty of space for overhead baggage."
Cons: "The boarding process was confusing, no announcements in English, so we didn’t understand what was happening. Land crew was great, but the flight crew passed over us for drinks, never came to pickup any trash. Seats were terrible, very uncomfortable for a 3.5 hour flight. Flight delayed 30 min. too."
Cons: "The flight was delayed and caused all sorts of problems and headaches. Had to book a new final destination and didn't even make it to my original final destination."
Pros: "Other legs of flight were worse."
Pros: "Crew was good."
Cons: "Be on time and if not, communicate and offer remedies. There was NONE."
Pros: "Crew was friendly"
Cons: "No leg room even for the seats we paid extra"
Pros: "For an hour flight food or entertainment is not needed."
Cons: "Baggage allowance."
Cons: "Paid extra to upgrade. Then never saw the flight crew during the flight. And they provided no drink or snack service. Instead they all huddled at the front of the plane and talked with each other. Disappointing to say the least."
Cons: "The plane was very hot."
Pros: "Friendly and efficient crew. On time."
Cons: "Boarding and in-flight food."
Pros: "My three LATAM flights were all on-time, well-piloted and efficiently run. They are not responsible for airport-related issues in Lima. Taking off at over 11.00 feet and landing at sea level must be like having most of the air leak out of your tires while driving, but these guys take that in stride."
Cons: "Gate assignments in Lima tend to change and be posted late, but this is not under LATAM control."
Pros: "The crew was awful, they did not let me board my flight despite me getting there at a reasonable time."
Cons: "They could have let me board my flight. I missed my international flight because of this and had to pay a heavy fee."
Cons: "All the flight"
Pros: "Crew was polite and efficient. Ground staff helpful in rescheduling flights"
Cons: "One of the flights out of three should have been on time. None were. One was cancelled. Two were delayed."
Cons: "the process of boarding no annoucement of gate change"
Cons: "Made me check my carryon while waiting to board even though I said no and didn’t ask anyone else if they wanted to. Plane left half hour late"
Pros: "The LATAM getting our boarding pass, going through the LATAM boarding area, getting on the LATAM plane we were stopped no less than 4 times by this airlines. The women were rude to us. Many people had presents for the holidays that were much bigger than our packs."
Pros: "Staff / crew was great"
Cons: "Boarding is was not explode what line you needed to be in according to the size of your luggage"
Pros: "Q z bsv"
Cons: "Gate changes were not announced and the crew didn't help passengers get their luggage in place to allow for enough room for the last passengers to board. Many passengers places small items that belong below the seat in the over head. I had to ask passengers myself who's bag is this to get them to put it under the seats in front of them."
Cons: "Apparently you need to be at the airport 2hrs before your flight leaves otherwise you cant print your ticket and have to wait in a 1-2hr line to have them tell you you have now missed your flight and charge you $30USD to change to another flight. When it only takes literally 3min to get through security and to the gates. not sure why they couldn't give us our tickets when we were then an hr early. Then they said we were at gate 5. We went and waited there. About 20min before departure we noticed the flight info had changed and wasnt ours. No announcement. Nothing. We had to run upstairs to our new gate and barely made that flight. Extremely dissatisfied with customer service and lack of communication. Basically a company looking to get money wherever they can at the expense of foreign travelers."
Cons: "The people making announcements need to slow down. I understand some Spanish but hey were talking so fast it was difficult, then when they repeated in English, their pronunciation wasn't the best but again because they were speaking so fast it was difficult to understand."
Pros: "Enjoyed everything about the flight- aircraft, service, food etc"
Pros: "Friendly and helpful staff"
Pros: "The standard domestic flight, not a lot of room but not as cramped as it could have been. Speedy from the time we boarded to disembarking."
Pros: "Comfortable, friendly staff, accommodating, clean, on time, smooth flight. Great experience."
Pros: "Technology Leg room"
Cons: "I never experienced the flight because I wasn't given a seat. The airline oversold the flight and I never got to go. I missed my once in a lifetime experience because the airline is greedy at my (and other people's) expense. I missed out on a priceless experience. Not only that, the bag that I checked did not make it off the flight so I remained in DC while my bag went to Medellin. I had to purchase new toiletries and had to make arrangements to get back to the airport. As of now, I do not plan on choosing American Airline nor LATAM for my future flights."
Cons: "The return flight was cancelled, and I missed my return flight back from Lima to Atlanta."
Pros: "Staff and comfort and"
Cons: "Cosco airport sucks"
Pros: "Always professional and friendly!"
Cons: "Didn't have time to get any in air food or beverages due to rough air. Not their fault!"
Cons: "Gate change was imposible to keep track of unless you walked from gate to gate and made sure you were at the correct one. Almost missed our flight as we were told gate 5 and it was changed to gate 10 in Spanish over the loud speaker but not in Englist and we just made the flight after they closed the door!!!!! Thank goodness they let us on. Need gate board where gate 5-10 is."
Cons: "Wish I used y'all for my other flights"
Pros: "Friendly and efficient staff . No delays , always on time . Pilot is handsome too"
Cons: "Magazines are in Spanish language mostly :("
Cons: "Todo bien"
Pros: "The staff was friendly and very attentitive. The entertainment is available in a huge selection and works great. It was great that I was able to create my own playlist with as many songs as I liked from their music library, for the duration of my flight. Staff woke me up and asked me if I wanted food in the morning which I thought was nice. On other airlines, Sometimes they just let you sleep and you miss out. Lighting is great for sleeping. Food is OKAY (im a picky eater) with vegetarian options. Provided pillow, blankets,AND HEADPHONES! Headphones are a must have for a long flight so it's great that they provide it. It was my firat flight with Latam and I look forward to flying with them again."
Cons: "I didn't like that latam doesn't offer wifi like some other airlines such as jetblue. Also I would like more interaction from the pilot over the intercom, its more personal and comfortable for passangers. Other than that great airline."
Cons: "This flight was entirely unnecessary. I paid for this flight and another from Lima to D.C. I was in Nazca, so could have easily boarded in Lima which was 3 hours away, but the airline forced me to make the 14 hour trip back to Cusco instead, just so I could fly BACK to Lima on their plane, otherwise they would have cancelled my whole reservation. I will never fly with LATAM again."
Pros: "I appreciated the snacks and drinks provided on the flight."
Cons: "The planes aren't very clean."
Pros: "Nice staff, on time"
Pros: "Everything! :)"
Pros: "I appreciated the fact that the cabin crew worked to seat my husband and I together. There was a bit of shuffling done but they managed to do it without inconveniencing anyone. Thank you!"
Cons: "And it would have been good if more water was on offer. Service was somewhat rushed."
