Firstly the flight was delayed, these things happen but nevertheless I end up missing my connecting Qatar flight to Belgrade, put into a horrible little hotel for 24hrs without my bag, no clothes or toiletries. At one point during the flight once everyone had their chairs reclined one hostess told me to not put mine so far back?!?! Then when asked well then person in front of me has to move theirs forward and her response no they don’t. Absolutely shocking. To think I wanted to upgrade to business class. I’m traveling the globe over the next year and thought let me try Qatar but never again with this type of service and how they treat their customers."

Cons: "Th plain boarding took much longer, we flew in circles above JFK, waited for a gate for us, then waited for all passengers with connecting flights to get off because we were late and that resulted in a VERY long process for the rest of us. The descent into the airport was also not the smoothest, but it was a smaller plane."

Cons: "My husband and I could not fit in the seats without our shoulders being on top of each other. My shoulder was in the aisle way. I am 5’8 and my knees were up againstthe seat in front of me. Our flight from CVG to DFW had none of these problems."

Cons: "The Premium Eco seats are a catastrophe. They don't recline: the seats only slide down slightly but the upper part of your body doesn't move much. This makes for a poor experience, especially on a night flight. Except if you need the extra width, Eco has better value."

Pros: "Crew was great but at the airport they had us weight our carry on and then made us check it for 90 euro."
Cons: "Comfort plus seats need some work. Very thin padding on a hard seat. The leg rest needs to come up higher so you don’t slide down while semi reclined. Nice compromise between business and coach though."

Cons: "This was one of the worst flights I’ve been on. Both planes were downright filthy. The flight from Dallas to Barcelona had several broken toilets. Flight from Paris to Barcelona boarded and once everyone was on board, they told us that we would be sitting there for 2 hours before leaving."

I watched them taste. Crew, one named Paul, took it back, simply put the foil back, and served to others."

Cons: "One of the worst experience I’ve had, if not the worst. Lack of communication between flight attendants at gate was the main reason for missing our flight, after 2 delays from the previous flight. When we got to the gate they closed it at that moment, earlier than it should have. A Mr. Fenney, person in charge at the gate, didn’t help much. Just went through the motion and as slow as possible trying to help us. It seemed he just wanted to pretend he was helping us. Worse was his attitude when telling is the gate has already closed, didn’t do anything to help us, nothing at all. We had to literally get information out of him. We then went to customer service were the same thing happened, a lack of care that we missed our flight due to things out of our control. Even to the point where the agent told us “be sure to be there on time this time”, like if it was our fault we missed it (we told her the details of our situation). Till this point they don’t seem to care. They left about 15 people, that i know of, hanging. If they had better comunication between gates and waited a miserably 5 more minutes (although they closed the gate earlier then they should have) everyone would have made it. Throughout the whole process we noticed that american airlines employees did not care that many on that first flight had connection flights. They were just going through the motion, slowly while all of us were a bit desperate knowing that the layover time was going to be very close."

If you want to attempt to serve 5 course meals, that is fine, But, please have normal backup foods. In fact you would save a lot of money buy not putting seeds and grapes in the salads, buying plain white/wheat rolls with no seeds, and much simpler appetizers/desserts. I saw a lot of food being thrown away. Mine included. If you are trying to force people to buy food before they board, you have succeeded. TV displays and remote were very poor compared to your competitors."
Cons: "I missed my flight from Dallas to Houston because the flight from Frankfurt was late. However I appreciate the promptness with which Lufthansa customer rep attended to me and put me on another flight. Excellent."

Cons: "Everything. The flight was delayed by 4 hours. There was no food in first class. The luggage was put on an earlier flight ans delivered to a different gate. The person handling luggage in Gate A was rude. We had to go to the other gate at 1am to pickup our luggage."

Cons: "Security was overzealous. I didn't know the standards changed for how many ounces you could carry over three days. The normal ounces of liquid was no more than 4.0 ounces. I had no problem going through security with that amount of spray deodorant flying from IAW, Dulles. DFW airport security says the limit is no more than 3.4 ounces. So they kept my harmless deodorant. I need TSA to get on the same sheet of music worldwide. People don't have time or money to waste having to deal with different TSA standards everywhere they go."

Wasn't sure why this happened and why I wasn't compensated for what I was charged for. Wondering if I need to change my regular air carrier now. I don't like small planes!"

Cons: "The woman when boarding the plane in Chicago was very rude. Crew is not friendly! We received one glass of soda, they do not give you the whole can and one small snack. In Delta they give you the whole can and they give you 3 snacks. If I have a choice I will not fly United again."

Cons: "I fully understand that weather and accompanying delays are unpredictable at best. But to be updated every 30 minutes over what turned into a 3 hour wait was frustrating. I appreciated the updates, but I could have done lots of fun things if I'd known the time would end up being 3 hours. Maybe you could work on the accuracy of your delays and how long it will really take. The flight attendants seemed as though they didn't even want to be there."
Pros: "Dallas flight was 1 hour delayed, United landed in terminal C (C115) in Newark, flight to Hartford departed in terminal A (A26). People were running to catch the Newark to Hartford gate on the other side of the airport. I am surprise United hasn't beeen sued for this lack of consideration to their customers. Luckily I was not in a wheelchair to run across to the other side of the airport due to United delay. I wonder how a United employee would feel if ithis happened to them and their children or disabled parents. Flying is already stressful enough, experiencing a flight delay and forcing people to run like cattles in an airport only pushes people to drive rather then fly."
Cons: "Try placing inbound and departure United planes in the same terminal instead on on the other side of an airport. If you delay a flight, the departure flight should be delayed too to allow customers a fair chance to get home. Not everyone can run like Husain Bolt in an airport. Consider your future customers."
