Pros: The flight never occurred. The first leg of my flight from Ho Chi Minh was cancelled and I was not informed. I discovered this when I went to check in. I called Kayak to resolve this since I had confirmation of the booking and was placed on hold. After 2 HOURS I hung up. At roughly 4:00 am I spoke with someone at Kayak who confirmed the flight was cancelled and that I was not contacted. An offer was made to put me on another flight a day later but that was impossible because of needing another Covid test. I was able to arrange another flight that was more expensive.
Cons: I would like to be reimbursed the difference in flight cost since I was not informed about the flight cancellation.
Cons: Is easy to book from your even I don’t really understand English and Japan airlines was wonderful service. Thank you 😊
Cons: Waited way too long for my bags
Pros: Nice staff
Cons: More Movies and TV shows
Pros: It was a great service overall!
Pros: crew was amazing
Cons: nothing. amazing flight
Pros: crew was excellent!
Pros: Crew was very attentive. Plane was clean.
Cons: Bigger water bottles?
Pros: The crew was amazing
Pros: Yes the airline co-operating so nice and staff were helpful. The seat was so comfortable.
Cons: Menu options, movies
Pros: Crew service was amazing - so diligent and courteous. They were incredibly well trained and I would rate their service level as being one of the most competitive within business class in Asia.
Cons: Seats were reasonably comfortable but not as spacious in design as in other business class cabins, so that could be a concern for some travelers. Also, I was not able to convert the main menu of the entertainment system to my preferred language so it was a bit difficult to navigate (that being said, they provided a card that guided me, so it was still usable, and the entertainment selection was good!).
Cons: Flight crew not too interactive
Cons: More variety of movies
Cons: Business class seats not very long if you are tall. Western meal option is not really very western. Crew is a little too efficient- got woken up 90 minutes before landing to clear the mattresses. Lots of announcements- a bit too much. On time, and quick to respond to requests. Sake was good as was the ramen.
Pros: Flight went well and was on time. 2nd best experience for economy seat.
Pros: Tv audio didn’t work. They forgot to movie me to another seat. I paid for Wi-Fi and it didn’t work with Netflix or hbo go. Luggage was lost too
Cons: Entertaining in English
Pros: Crew members are extremely friendly and the seat has more leg room.
Cons: in flight entertainment can add more movie and TV shows.
Pros: All of the crews were polite and friendly, and the food was tasty.
Cons: If there're more variety of movies, that would be great.
Pros: even though I was in Economy class, the seat was comfortable, the food was good and the flight attendands were attentive and polite
Pros: Perfect service, never had a more pleasant and attentive crew
Cons: Movies were pretty much still the same as 10 weeks ago. Not possible to sleep in the seat in premium economy right by the toilets and galley. Constant door clattering and toilet flushing. In other cabins the noise wasn't as bad, probably better insulated?
Cons: Flight attendants
Pros: Crew very helpful. Seat roomy.
Pros: Service was excellent. Premium economy seats well worth the few extra $$.
Pros: Easily upgrade to premium economy class
Cons: Some staff lack of basic english
Pros: Beautifully presented and tasty Japanese food. Electronic windows.
Cons: Not overly impressed with the 12:05am departure time. Western food not overly impressive. Having to travel from the plane to terminal by bus.
Cons: very poor communication of information
Pros: Great service.
Cons: I know this isn’t really the fault of the airline, but there was a loud toddler sitting behind me. It was frustrating, because the mother did not seem to do anything to have her child be quiet. It makes it hard for everyone around them to have comfortable rest, especially as this was an overnight flight. I have flown over the years with up to 5 children and do know how hard it can be, but it is important to foresee the needs of the child. I wonder of the attendants could have been a little more firm with the mother to ask her not to let the child roam the aisle.
Pros: Smooth, on-time, friendly staff. The food was giid and plentiful. What happened to the complimentary toiletries, though?
Cons: Omg did you study how to prevent people from sleeping? If you allowed the head of the seat to go back just 3 more inches i think i could sleep. Instead, i am tortured like a yawn that wont come out, a mosquito in the dark, an itch that runs away from my fingers ... out of reach and just inaccessible. 12 hours of wishing so that by the time i reach my final destination, I've been awake over 24 hours. Im getting too old for that.
Pros: Roomy seats on JAL flights - their actual airplanes. Horrible when they codeshare with american and use American Airlines planes.
Cons: They have to take the prize for having the absolute slowest customer service in the world. When I booked my tickets, I emailed customer service to make sure I didn’t get a center seat. It took them two months - TWO MONTHS - to email me back, to tell me there was nothing they could do. I also had to be reticketed on my flight from Tokyo to Hanoi. It took them 3 1/2 hours to do this. I had to sit in the airport for 3 1/2 hours to get my ticket changed. Unbelievable. They could’ve chiseled it in stone faster than they issued it.
Pros: Crew was very nice. They let us switch seats when my boyfriend's TV wasn't working
Pros: The food on this flight was horrible. Big disappointment. Usually, the food on Japan Airlines is wonderful. However, on this flight, the food was a crab/mayo sandwich with yogurt. However, the service was wonderful, as always.
Pros: Let's face it - flying b-class is pretty awesome, so for $3300, it was really great. Loved the food selections, though I did feel the food was a little on the heavy side. I had the Japanese fare, which was lighter, but a little more salted than what I prefer - but over all very good. Service was amazing - the crew is super-nice. The plane, a massive 787 jet, absorbed the turbulence like it was nothing. It was like riding in one of those Cadillacs from the 1970's. The lavatories were big enough that I could actually stand up straight (and I'm 6'0"). The seats were pretty good as well - they had a feature for extension of the seating surface to allow for more thigh support (which I love) as well as great lumbar support. the movie selection was OK - neither great nor bad, and I ended up watching 4 movies during the flight anyway. ;)
Cons: I preface this section by saying that I'm being very nit-picky here - there's not much I can really say, except that the seats, while they will recline to a flat surface, which is great for dozing off, they are angled about 15 degrees so you're constantly sliding down them in that position. Also, there could be more support for your head in the reclined position - I had to futz with pillows and a blanket to get that comfortable. However, the reclined position was the most comfortable, and I could get it so that I was sufficiently reclined with my legs extended and horizontal, while laying back without sliding down. This was sufficient for resting. I'm only mentioning this because I flew a business class flight on Delta in 2015 which had ridiculously amazing seats that reclined all the way flat and horizontal. On the 9-11 hour flight from Tokyo back to San Diego, which will take place mainly at night, this would be a very useful feature.
Pros: The crews were polite and reliable. No bossy or mean like other airlines. they moved prompt, no running or fast walk on aisles, so that passengers can ask things easily. Food was much better comparing with any other companies. The boarding time was delayed one hour, however we landed japan 2, 3 mins later than the estimated arrival time. Landing technique was beautiful. American, United, ANA which I flew caused me have a deep Earache. I didn't get any pain from this flight. I am already scared of returning flight with American airplines.
Cons: Leg room
Cons: Boarding was actually good. It was checking your luggages in and getting your boarding passes which was POOR. Passengers on International flights going out of the Philippines are advised be at the airport at least 3 hours before scheduled flight. Well, the JAL check-in counter opened at 650AM for the 950AM flight (exactly 3 hours before the scheduled flight), with maybe some 50 people already in line. With most passengers coming far from the airport, it will be very very helpful if the counter, even at least one counter, would open earlier, so that passengers who came in early could check in early and wait comfortably in the departure area.
Pros: Everything went smoothly. Great take off, great landing the stewardess were doing excellent jobs to accommodate us. Will fly with JAL again in the future.
Pros: The food (Japanese) clearly was a league of its own. Service was prompt, attentive yet discreet.
Cons: Selection of video entertainment could be increased and improved.
Cons: I never like flying into Narita - each time I have to have my boarding pass reissued and baggage rechecked. I like the YVR process where you just put your bags on a conveyor after clearing customs.
Pros: Big bathroom, bide, wifi, movies, very good coffee, spacious seating areas, the price of airfare!!
Pros: Entertainment was excellent
Cons: I'm an entertainer, very well respected in Hawaii, Japan and the world. and has always traveled JAL. I travel with my guitar and has never had a problem carrying it on board. The staff will usually come a get it and put it in the closet if it didn't fit in the overhead. But I guess recently rules change, and was told I would have to check it in because the closet space is used only for staff and business people. Was told that the 737 was to small for my guitar won't fit overhead. I have taken 737's all my life with Aloha Airlines and told them that my guitar would fit. That gentleman was a JERK! and was'nt very helpful, and told me I couldn't take it on board and I would have to take it to the package store and have them box it up. That spoiled my whole vacation.
Pros: The service, food, entertainment, everything was perfect. Thanks so much
Pros: The ground crew in HKG airport was really helpful.
Cons: I have been flying JAL from HK to Boston numerous times and by far my favourite (over Cathay and don't even need to mention United). However this past trip gave me a new perspective. Given it is a Japanese airline and all, it is normal for them to be Japanese-centric. We had an a-hole sitting in front of us at 51F during our flight to Narita and he was trying hard to argue with us in English, and even told us to move to another seat. When I had the flight attendant (her name is Sako on flight JL736 on Jul 26) over to discuss (in English) she went to the guy in front of us and started apologizing to him. For what??? She then came back to us speaking in Japanese and brushed the issue away. Sorry, no this was not acceptable, even though my fiance was okay with the situation.
Pros: Very spacious and comfortable, modern plane
Pros: I always find the service on Japan Airline to be excellent. What I really liked, and didn't expect, was that there was individual inflight entertainment systems. Most other carriers on short flights out of Busan don't have that available, so it was a nice option. The meals were excellent!
Cons: Food was below standard.
Pros: Fast check in. Awesome flight attendant on United and All Nippon Air. Flight on ANA has awesome service.
Pros: the Crew as always on ANA flights is amazing
Pros: Time is good.
Cons: With long flight these two are a must ! Food is very limited and needs to have more movies.
Pros: Crew was very nice, toilets clean.
Cons: Flight delayed 2 times, didn’t receive text or Email from the second delayed
Pros: Food is bland, boring. Entertainment contents are limited and old movies
Cons: As mentioned above, more new selections of movies. Better taste and quality of food, please.
Cons: Add a low carb meal option
Cons: Five delays and three gate changes are not cool
Pros: There was a lot of leg room and updated features. Also the candy they gave out was good.
Cons: The food was not to my liking,
Cons: Food was really unpleasant and entertainment all out of date movies
Cons: Narita to Honolulu sector has not enough food for breakfast noting Honolulu airport has got nothing to offer!!!
Pros: I enjoyed the flight because the flight NH9 wasn't fully booked, I used my next seat too. Also, the crews are generally better then usual, more smile. Food also better than last severity trips.
Cons: Even so, food can be better. I want more western drama on entertainment.
Pros: I like the service. I like the way they checked my back stuff and put back very neat. I’m very happy with your company,
Cons: No complaints, I would say....ANA the best,!
Pros: Check in is a breeze, the staff even helped me to load my luggages to the counter. Boarding is prompt and orderly. The food is excellent , love the kabosu, there is snack available at the back in case you are still hungry. Entertainment is good choices, headphone is nice.
Cons: None so far, been travelling with ANA 8-10 times a year for more than 5 years
Pros: Food was ok for economy and they bring more coffee when you ask. The flight wasn’t so full so the seat next to me was empty and also I could sit in the exit isle to work on my laptop
Cons: The seat pitch is such that you can’t use a laptop in a normal seat. This would have been a big issue if there wasn’t a seat in the exit row for me to borrow. Staff fine but nothing special.
Pros: I like the way the flight attendants treat the passengers. They are very courteous, friendly and wearing very sweet smiles. The airplane is very prompt when it comes to arrival and departure schedule. Thank you very much for providing me a wheelchair which made my travel more convenient.
Cons: So far there was nothing that I didn't like. The food was good and the airplane was clean.
Pros: Economy premium was very comfortable. Best service I’ve had on an airplane since Pan American days.
Cons: I didn’t like the boarding process one long line. However, it moved quickly and unlike American airlines there was plenty of overhead space. They let you check 2 bags free. Of course, it is an international flight.
Pros: Very efficient
Cons: Food was not good
Cons: The food was dreadful. It was like being back in the 1990s. Kids entertainment options were poor. The original toy story movie was it!
Pros: The crew is so friendly, planes are nice and pretty good movie selection. They are nicely organized too. All of the American airline companies should learn from them!
Cons: Food for vegetarians is not very good. But they certainly feed you a lot.
Cons: Sitting space
Pros: The extra inches were nice. Fairly comfortable seat. And the ice cream was a nice treat.
Cons: I thought I would get a little more than a few extra inches in Economy Plus. Maybe an overnight packet (ear plugs, eye mask, toothbrush?) and/or a foot rest for the extra money, but it was literally only a few extra inches of space.
Pros: Everything went well. ANA customer service wonderful, both at the counter and on the plane. Loved the meals, and fun to watch the available movies and shows at your seat.
Pros: Friendly staff. English language not too much of an issue. Ample personal space in economy class compared to other carriers.
Cons: Asian Vegetarian meal not very good. Seems like whichever company they use to buy the food makes a half hearted effort in their selections for the food tray. If you're going to put a couple small pieces of lettuce and a cherry tomato into an already small container and call it salad, why bother? The rest of the meal wasn't pleasing either. The fruit was nearly frozen it was so cold. The entree had a few different things but still a weird combination of veggies.
Pros: I like the way the stewardesses treating all passengers especially economy class- very professional , attentive to needs and service with great smile- overall wonderful experience and to think I had never heard of this airline prior to flying it for the first time was very impressionable for me
Cons: The in flights entertainment was a little limiting to me- but with the great service by crew- it didn't matter so much . But a little more wide variety could go a long way - or more new releases
Pros: ANA is one of our favorite airlines. Consistently great service, if not occasionally a little too 'rule centric'... but it's Japan, and that's why it's so nice and clean and everything works perfectly... :)
Pros: They came around often to see if we needed water or anything. Food was good.
Cons: Tray is too small and not able to use the entertainment system because it is too short for a tall person. I would be staring down the entire time.
Pros: Very helpful and accommodating flight attendants ... all with a smile!
Pros: After flying domestic flights on US carriers, the idea of getting two meals and free drinks is almost shocking. Even more so when the food (though very Japanese) was quite good quality in economy. If you have to spend 10 hours or more crossing an ocean ANA is certainly a good bet, at least if you don't mind a bento box style meal.
Pros: more new movies will be better
Pros: La puntualidad absoluta, la amabilidad de la tripulación y los baños impecables durante las 13 hr de vuelo.
Cons: Creo que la comida podría mejorarse un poco pero es un detalle mínimo
Pros: Service in side.
Cons: Air host listen on time
Pros: I like the nice and warm service from the crew
Cons: Food can be more variable but overall its oke
Pros: Everything was fantastic (except that I didn’t watch or listen to any of the entertainment
Pros: Great airline!
Cons: some of the gates can be long walk
Pros: The food they served was very unique and will ready you for a trip in Japan ( if that is the root you are taking it for) The entertainment options were overwhelming ( movies, games, and anime)
Pros: The food were good and just enough for the inflight need
Cons: The time to get to the next flight is so tight! I wish there's a 30 minutes more so I don't have to rush and be the last one to get in the plane.
Cons: Seats seem extra small, narrow and short. As a window seat there was very little room between the seat and the wall. Food and entertainment average to below average (compared with Qantas, Singapore Airlines)
Pros: Good service and not too long of a wait to board the plane.
Pros: highly efficient processes on ground (Narita airport), clean and enough space in airplane, exteremely supportive and polite staff
Pros: I fly around often, at least 10 times a year, and ANA has always had the best service, cleanest planes, and the best entertainment. I recommend flying with ANA anytime you travel.
Pros: Nice friendly staff in the plane. Nice friendly staff at the airport, although very slow and getting confused easily. Need more training.
Cons: Check-in process at the airport was ridiculous ! One ANA staff sends us to wait to a certain counter after looking at our ENTIRE trip (all 3 segments), only to find out 20min later that we were supposed to go to ANOTHER counter, because our ultimate destination was International (USA). Also, boarding passes had to be REPRINTED in Tokyo for some reason. Note: on the way to Okinawa 2 weeks earlier, we had similar poor experience, but we only had to wait 5 min in the wrong lane. Overall ANA staff is very nice, friendly and smiling, but seems to get overwhelmed and confused very easily, and take FOREVER to do simple tasks that their US counterparts do 3x or 4x FASTER. --> do more regular TRAINING of your staff at airport counters !
Cons: Sitting on the back rows , when I was served my food the lady said there was no more options I had to take what was left, meaning if I wanted the pasta I would Not get it because unfortunately I got a sit at the back of the airplane, but I paid the same amount of money for the ticket as the person sitting 20 rows in front of me It is outrageous
Pros: I liked that the flight was on time. The plane was nice too, nicer than most other airlines. The seats were roomy enough, as good as economy can be. Food was one of the best. The movies were pretty new which is always a plus. The crew was awesome. I get motion sickness whenever I ride anything, be it planes, buses, trains or boats, and the fact that the flight attendants kept checking on me put my mind at ease.
Cons: There was a smell of old sweat odor from the seats, maybe table. Plus my table was still wet when I opened it. So that was kind of gross.
Pros: Cabin comfort
Cons: Only two Hindi movie
Cons: There was no information about connecting flights before landing.
Cons: can't think of any.!
Pros: ANA has always done a fantastic job, mfrom customer service to the food to checking you in.
Pros: staff was very nice and helpful
Cons: movies were not sp good
Pros: Very comfortable and nice lighting. Not too bright
Cons: The overhead light is too far up and when I turn on the light it's lightning up more than just my seat. Other people beside me are sleeping and it's too bright to turn on the light.
Pros: Crew, movies, comfort
Cons: Better seats. What’s the deal with always getting the back of the plane? Seats right next to the engine. Very tired of getting the worst seats even when I check in within minutes of the the 24 hour window. Really tired of the bad seats.
Pros: Crew was super helpful and very accomodating
Cons: Can’t think of anything. A few times I’ve flown Delta, the service has improved. Having helpful staff on board is very important . Years ago it was very unpleasant to fly Delta because of rude flight attendants especially on us domestic flights. Hopefully that has all changed. Especially the older crew. If they can’t stand doing better customer service they need to retire . Happy to fly Delta and will let people know.
Cons: Great crew and flight! Cheers!
Cons: No ear plugs in my amenity kit??
Cons: Way too cramped
Pros: Smooth landing
Cons: Boarding should be more organized
Pros: Free entertainment
Cons: Excellent service
Pros: Flight was comfortable and smooth all the way
Cons: Tastier food options
Pros: Amazing crew and food and entertainment selection!
Cons: Honestly nothing it was perfect
Pros: I love having a crossword puzzle and lots of fun things to watch.
Cons: Seats were a little rickety, and one didn't recline properly.
Cons: Delta One screens are a bit small.
Pros: The crew at the checking counters were very accommodating. Knowing that I had requested a wheelchair, they changed my seat to one that was closer to the door.
Cons: The flight attendants in my could have been more visible other than just during the food service time.
Pros: Clean plane. Excellent service flt DL0295 our flight attendant (Nancy, sorry didn’t get her last name) was fantastic.
Cons: Boarding took a long time
Pros: Yummy snack! Funny crew member who acknowledged seats in landing position are uncomfortable. Sing songy welcoming voices :)
Cons: Aww. The movie I wanted to watch wouldn’t play..
Pros: Crew were attentive and the food service schedule was helpful in making the time pass. wonderfully generous pours on the complimentary wine service
Cons: Food was really just gooey goo.
Pros: Crew was very friendly for the most part. There seems to be a chance in the way they interact with customers. It's noticeable. The food still is not bad, not great. Drink selection was pretty extensive and impressive. Free wifi for messaging apps is great.
Cons: Electrical plug is right at your knee level. Bread is rock hard an inedible. Plane felt very dry compared to other Delta planes. Would be good to know when the Wifi will be off (as it is off as we "approach the North Pole"). I wish we didn't have to repack bags that are over 52lb.
Cons: Touch screen not very sensitive, required a lot of tapping to click.
Pros: Super friendly staf, big enough seat, good enough food, enough room for luggage.
Cons: Seat was smaller than EVA and food not quite as good.
Pros: I like flying delta. They always serve drinks first
Cons: It’s such a long flight. Not your fault.
Pros: This is what airlines used to be like. The food and quantity were excellent. Too bad these services aren’t offered on domestic flights. We had a snack or meal every couple hours with plenty of drinks. The legroom was ample and comfortable.
Cons: Gave confusing instructions on transfer
Pros: The pilot, Mr. Howes, I believe, came out and personally thanked everyone for flying Delta. It was a nice touch to see the actual pilot that was flying and me home and that he shared his gratitude. Go DELTA!!
Pros: I didn't realize there was a 20 hour transit time in Portland. Delta wanted $330 to change the tickets. I could buy a new Delta ticket for $179. Bought a new Alaska Air ticket for $107
Cons: Trying to get an answer to this problem
Pros: Vivian and her coworkers were fantastic!
Cons: Old cramped untidy and limited drink service
Pros: liked the pods in delta one
Cons: wish the pods were a little longer for sleeping. it your 6'1 or taller you can't completely stretch out
Pros: Good service. Friendly staff. Jet bridge in NRT.
Cons: Never got a boarding drink; No jet bridge in Shanghai.
Cons: Customer service over the phone is the worst. 30 minutes for them to pick up and then get transferred to a very rude representative.
Pros: New schedule
Cons: Missed connection die to delay by lightning. Rescefuled and put us up overnite but had comfort tickets and had to fly coach and seated separately.
Pros: Let’s face it-no one likes a 14 hour flight. But the staff was great, food pretty good, movies flew by and we arrived early and happy and bags at baggage claim by the time we got
Pros: Service and staff
Pros: Good crews
Pros: Boarding was quick and efficient. Landed early!
Cons: Food was Meh but fine
Pros: Left on time, plane was clean and arrived early
Cons: *Again, my first choice of main off the menu, in Delta One, had run out. *Not a fan of the Delta One seats.
Pros: Very friendly staff and the onboard meals were surprisingly good. Korean Air may quite possibly be my favorite airline.
Pros: I made it home.
Cons: 1. 1.5 hour delay on a 70-degree, sunny day. 2. all of the outlets in the gate area to charge devices during the delay -- and 90% of them didn't work!!!! It's almost better not to design new seating with outlets between seats, when the outlets don't work -- neither did the ones on the walls. People were lined up for the ONE wall outlet that did work.
Pros: Nice crew, good entertainment
Cons: "Upgraded" from an aisle seat to middle seat between two heavy people, very uncomfortable even in comfort plus.
Pros: Delta crews are the best in the US, very competent and they know how to take care of you.
Cons: Flight delays. And their lousy air miles program which has become very difficult to redeem for travel. Sky miles has become very terrible. Planning to switch my loyalty program
Pros: Nothing. Delta sucks!
Cons: Poor management prior boarding
Pros: I liked the price of the ticket.
Cons: In comparison to Korean Air, which I often use for overseas travel, Delta doesn't quite measure up. The overall performance and professionalism is lower.
Cons: Individual seat space is small, nor do seats recline much.
Pros: Window seat
Pros: *departed and arrived on time. *the only male flight attendant was full of smiles and friendly to everyone.
Cons: The Two female flight attendants standing just behind business class giving the safety demo need to be more professional and take it seriously. They were chatting back n forth, rolling eyes, and didn't fully show how to use the life jacket or oxygen mask.
Pros: Even with a 90 minute delay getting out of Seatac caused because some one checked their luggage but didn't get on the plane, Delta made sure that everyone made their connecting flights in Tokyo. In my hurry I left a charging cable on the late flight but right after I got settled on the next flight, and before I'd even figured out that I'd left it, a Delta attendant handed it to me.
Pros: Ticket price in coach was good. Lots of available flights. Legroom was much better than expected. Service very good.
Cons: Wifi is not free and expensive. Not enough pricing options and costs more if you don't buy a plan before the flight.
Cons: Very long delay leaving Shanghai. Was 90 minutes late arriving in Tokyo, so I didn't have time to run into Narita town for some real food as I had been planning.
Pros: Nice food
Pros: Staff were polite
Cons: The seating space is horrendous, I am 5 ft 8 and felt like I was sitting with my knees at my chest, horrible horrible seating
Pros: The seats were so comfortable
Pros: The plane ✈️ itself the attendants . The entertainment on board. Really great
Cons: Nothing dissatisfying about the flight nor the airline staff . Very polite, very professional. It was a Great flight. For long trips this airline is one of the best.
Cons: It's KLM. What else do you need to know.
Cons: Seats in economy section are very close together . There is not enough room for knees...especially for such a long trip.
Cons: Everything was OK
Pros: Food was great, enjoyed watching videos, staff very profession and friendly.
Cons: Boarding was delayed and prolonged My Baggage was not transferred and was not available when I arrived in Dulles.
Pros: Crew helpful. Food good.
Cons: Better range of movies please
Pros: Crew great, boarding at Nice very organised, boarding in Amsterdam not so organised!
Cons: A queuing system would be better-it was a bit disorganised at Amsterdam!
Cons: Too hot inside the aircraft
Pros: Entertainment was amazing
Cons: Seats a bit hard
Pros: Good for both.
Cons: Bigger seats.
Cons: This was just a short commuter flight from Lyon to Amsterdam for connection.
Pros: The crew was attentive and the seat at economy comfort was comfortable at the “ok” level. It needs much mor3 to be super comfortable. The plug for the headphones was a mess! It was NOT possible to watch a movie and hear the sound too! I gave up! Not a great offering for the extra dollars...
Cons: So many things! Starting with the way assistance in the airport is offered to travellers with mobility issues! This is an important issue that needs to be revisited and changes for better service to be made!
Pros: The crew was nice and helpful (our flight was 2h late so they put us on the one before in business class for us not to miss our connection)
Cons: A lot of delays, on both flights. We spent twice as much time waiting than flying.
Cons: The check in desk was late opening & the carry on luggage size was smaller than advertised on their website, so it had to be put in the hold. Open on time to prevent less stress to travelers & give more accurate information about cabin luggage.
Pros: On time and friendly crew
Cons: Boarding needs improvement
Pros: Crew was in a festive mood, the meal was unexpectedly delicious
Cons: Seats ok, but could be more comfy
Cons: Nothing special
Pros: The seats seemed to have more space on this plane which was nice.
Cons: It felt strange that the crew members completely skipped over me when serving lunch and drinks. At least something as basic as water should be given to all passengers.
Pros: Seats were very comfortable, food was excellent, the staff was very nice, cabin was quite and roomy.
Cons: No outlets to charge digital devices, and need more bathrooms on board. I was able to sleep most of the 11 hour flight so I did not take advantage of the entertainment.
Pros: The crew was fantastic! Our needs were constantly being met and just about the time you thought you might want a snack or a meal, the attendants were already heading down the aisle. Because of an allergic reaction, I asked for ice a number of times and the attendants were more than happy to meet my needs.
Cons: The seats were very close together. The trip from New York to Amsterdam seemed a lot more comfortable than the return flight. The food from NYC JFK was better than the food from Amsterdam. The movie selection on both flights was a little disappointing.
Pros: Everything is top notch for an airline company.
Cons: Nothing.... I enjoyed every moment of the flight.
Pros: Decent meal (warm Pasta all'arrabbiata), nice little muffin for dessert and standard drinks (coffee & tea were a bonus, as they didn't serve any on a similar flight, from Barcelona to Amsterdam), friendly cabin crew.
Cons: Poor timing - no reason for a 40 minute delay at take off (plane was fully boarded in time) Old aircraft, shabby, dirty and cramped seats. Coming from my connecting flight from Barcelona, I could clearly tell the different in the quality (and cleanliness) of the aircrafts.
Cons: The cabin crew was racist! She asked me to move from a seat because she wanted another guy ( obviously from her country ) to take it! Rude and racist.
Pros: Absolutely nothing!
Cons: the connection flights was the worse! The gate was changed in Amsterdam 3 times! From D82 to C6 and then to C11. The distance between B82 and C was 20-30 minutes walk. No rushing was needed though, the flight was delayed for 1:30h and after we all boarded a further delay was announced. I will never fly with KLM.
Pros: Pleasant flight
Cons: Amesterdam airport employee was really rude
Pros: The cabin crew were good. They explained what the arrangements were for the delayed flight connections
Cons: The plane wasn't refueled and so was not ready for take off once the passengers were loaded. The plane had a technical problem when it tried the first take off and so it had to be abandoned. This was alarming..
Pros: Boarding was a breeze and the staff were lovely. Online check was very simple and easy to navigate.
Cons: The amount of extras you have to click no to while checking in online.
Pros: The supplied pack of toothpaste/toothbrush
Pros: Ground staff at Manchester very helpful
Cons: Information on KLM website and flight status said 50 minutes delay and was never updated with the true status. 3 hours before we took off. KLM blamed the fog at Manchester but to be honest most other flights seemed unaffected. Put up in an IBIS hotel and fed substandard food and shitty hotel room with an Aircon unit that clunks into action every 30 seconds keeping me awake. It's external so I can't switch it off. Being given a 10 Euro voucher for food at the airport when most food and a drink will cost you 12 to 15 euros.
Cons: Flight way delayed 3 hours. Staff gave no information and wouldn't help rebook us onto other flights. They gave us food vouchers 2 minutes before we finally boarded, so we couldn't use them. The food on the plane had spoiled so we were all starving on the flight, and we all missed our connections. Horrible experience and wouldn't fly with KLM again.
Cons: They didn’t let us board the plane. Allegedly the plane was changed and make us travel by train!! They offered us a compensation but we haven’t heard from them yet. Not good experience at all.
Cons: Late Cabin extremely warm Full flight and centre seat means no room to relax or carry out work
Cons: Flight from Amsterdam was 2 hours late. Caused me to miss connection on train from London to Leeds which then cost me 124 pounds to rebook. No information was forthcoming at all at the airport and there were 3 different departure times given. Absolute chaos. The airline is a joke
Pros: No chargers or tv on planes
Cons: At Amsterdam we were told that our checkin luggage wouldn't be at Sydney!! Some low fat meals were terrible!
Cons: There weren't too many options. The movie selection was very limited and the tv show were over 20 years old in some cases
Pros: Loved this 747! Crew was professional and food was very good.
Cons: We had a long wait (25 minutes) at the gate because we were early.
Pros: The constant supply of food that was offered to you. The crew was nice and always helpful.
Cons: The process of boarding in Amsterdam was not organized and felt more stressful than it needed to be.
Pros: Quick (relatively) flight.
Cons: Skinniest seat ever. Couldn't even lean back. I now have hunchback.
Pros: Atmosphere, crew were very professional and friendly
Cons: Seats were a little too narrow, and quite uncomfortable when a broad shouldered person is sitting next to you
Pros: It's the best flight I could get for such a low price. But don't expect to to get the best and newest planes around but it's still overall a good experience.
Cons: Quite bummed that the flight didn't have wifi / USB):
Cons: seats on Jet air flight are very uncomfortable
Pros: Flight was quick, professional, friendly.
Cons: Our flight from Nairobi to Lusaka was cancelled for some reason and we did not find out until we happened to log into the website to double check our itinerary. They automatically rescheduled the flight only giving us 25 minutes to reach our next flight...impossible. so, after calling, we were re-booked again and forced into a 13 hour layover in Amsterdam. Our original flight plan had 4 hours. so, because we are a family of 7 with a baby, we had to buy a hotel room to rest, costing us a lot of extra money we had not planned to spend. We contacted KLM for help with the cost but were rejected. We also lost 5 bags somewhere between Chicago and Lusaka, but after 2 days, we received them.
Pros: early arrival,comfort
Cons: late boarding while standing around waiting for pilot to ararive
Cons: I did not understand special with covid why half the plane was empty they keep us all together. Would have been nice to be able to spread out and have more room. Seats and leg room are small.
Cons: flight didn't even happen
Pros: Everything great
Pros: Crew was good n seat could have been bigger.
Cons: Landing late to Chicago almost cost me my connection so I was stressed and could not eat due to limited time in between. The airline didn't notify us of being late to Chicago until I was on plane. We were told it was on time. Very disappointing..
Pros: Lots of entertainment choices and regular food and beverage available
Cons: Boarding took so long and only 2 spots they were allowing entry and one person was there for 10 minutes so essentially had 1 window And not the friendliest staff
Cons: They messed up the seat assignment I paid extra for, and while I bought WiFi for the entire trip it turned off halfway through.
Pros: Great crew with positive attitude. Boarding was non chaotic and plane was clean and new.
Cons: Food could be much better
Cons: I requested for wheelchair die to my knees problem, but there was no wheelchair for me at Narita and Bangkok.
Pros: JAL flight crew were the best
Cons: all were good
Pros: The crew was great, the plane itself seemed newer and was very comfortable.
Cons: Food was better than I expected, but still airplane food
Pros: This was Japan airline and the crew were very respectful and responsive and food was amazing
Cons: The entertainment selection could have been better
Pros: On time with easy boarding and very helpful staff.
Pros: For being stuck in a small space for twelve hours, they made the experience about as good as you could ask.
Pros: The Jetstar flight was smooth and on time.
Cons: Fukuoka and Narita airports had terminals that weren’t connected by a train or even an indoor path. It was covered but it was cold in Narita and Fukuoka required a slow shuttle.
Pros: Boarding at Springfield was fast and simple. The check-in agent were friendly and efficient. I especially appreciated that the flight arrived early into Dallas. I had a little more time to find lunch before my next flight.
Cons: Flight was delayed due to poor maintenance that caused issues before take off. Of course safety is important but that is why maintenance should be done routinely and prioritised accordingly. The pilot on the first delayed flight (new airplane) was clueless, his exact words "... our analysis team from midwest needs an hour to figure out whether we can fly or not" This is after we have boarded the flight. Then after about an hour of sitting in the plane, he says "rumor has it that a new plane will be towed in..." What? Why didn't they stop boarding and just get the new plane in. And I don't appreciate the emails saying flight is delayed without giving any reason for it. AA could have certainly done a better job of communicating the issue. Further the flight crew including the pilot were acting like victims. If it were an Asian carrier like Singapore Airlines, the crew would be smiling and providing assitance courteously since they represent the airlines. Not flying them again.
Cons: Cancelled flight
Pros: I'm glad they didn't fly an airplane that didn't pass the mechanic's evaluation.
Pros: Boarding was more efficient than I expected. And the leg room was very good, but the seats were narrow. Narrow seats made it a bit uncomfortable for a long 13 hour flight. Crew was efficient and very friendly.
Cons: The sandwiches were too cold - actually had ice cycles. Narrow seatingwas constricting and entertainment wasn't varied enough.
Pros: The amount of things to keep you entertained for the long flight
Cons: I had to have my seat up the entire route so that made a very uncomfortable flight was never able to really rest
Pros: Nothing, they’re awful.
Cons: American Airlines failed to provide the service we paid for: a flight that arrived home in the morning, so that we could get to work. We had to use vacation days we did not have to spare.
Pros: The flight itself was fine -- I never felt any major discomfort.
Cons: All three of our luggage were left behind in Chicago; normally it would not be a big deal, but we are leaving for a trip right away and needed our suitcases, clothes, and the souvenirs we had bought for our friends. This inconvenience is why I rated this flight low.
Pros: Amazing entertainment selection, comfortable.
Cons: had to take another flight, ticket agent was able to change me to a different flight on JAL. however, JAL could not access the ticket info and ticket agent would not take my payment. result was missing that flight, ticket manager told me it's my fault and tough luck no refund. American airlines told me the same, ended up losing my money for the ticket purchase. i booked another new flight with another airline direct. worst experience in my life using kayak.
Pros: The food and seat back entertainment were great, as well as the staff
Cons: Legroom was borderline inhumane, as a 5'10"adult I don't think it's too crazy to ask for a little more space on a 12+ hour flight. Good luck sleeping
Cons: When I arrived at the gate, the flight was on time, but no aircraft was at the gate. The gate attendants left at the time we were supposed to Board, then the departure time changed on the board and no announcement was made. Another gate attendant told me that the aircraft was at DYT, but the reason for delay was crew rest. As the delays continued, 3 in all, we were told that the aircraft was at DYT but we were waiting on a crew to be flown in from Charlotte. Not sure how AA messed up their crew rest schedule on domestic regional jet carrier. Either way, a new gate attendant arrived to take over, and continued to tell us we were waiting on crew. Then the story changed to waiting on aircraft and crew. By the time the 3rd change in departure had been made, and we were still waiting on aircraft and cre, AA failed to continue to update the departure and arrival times. Once we boarded around 9:00pm the boarding time still showed 8:10pm. Then we sat on the runway awaiting departure for approx 40 minutes before taking off. Very poor communication And customer service.
Pros: The service was above and beyond expectations. Seats in economy are roomier than I'm used to. There was also many movies to choose from for in air entertainment. Food was delicious. Will fly Japan Airlines again in the future.
Cons: I loved everything
Cons: one staff member was extremely rude when asked for another beverage.
Pros: Everyone was friendly
Cons: Very tight fit.
Pros: Entertainment was great. I really liked the touch screens on the chairbacks. Food was fine for airplane food. It came more than I expected. Get sandwiches over the meals, they are better quality. A vegetarian guy had a hard time but the crew tried to help him out. Comfort was ok for a 13 hour trip. The chairs are not really the best and my back hurt after a while. Make sure you stretch! Crew was nice except for one lady. But she wasent rude just... non responsive. Other members were fantastic though. Boarding was very painless.
Cons: There was a problem with the plane and we were stuck with very warm conditions for 2 hours and 40 minutes before we took flight.
Cons: Switch our seats that we paid extra to reserve, was not a fan of this! Internet also didn't work after we paid for it. However they did make things right already.
Pros: Short trips so no entertainment is offered so it's n/a
Pros: Gate crew provided frequent updates about the nature and duration of our substantial delay in takeoff. Polite and efficient crew
Cons: 2.5-hour delay caused me to miss connection in Tokyo. Boarding took a long time. Nearly one hour for my suitcase to emerge on carousel, well after all other bags. Legroom minimum in coach. Sandwich for the snack was frozen in the middle.
Pros: Crew was good.
Cons: Boarding is terrible at DCA for commuter flights. You get on a bus packed in like sardines and the stand there for 15 minutes.
Pros: Everything was great their wasn't enough clarification as to what airline I was fliying. It said Japan air on my confirmation email but it would up being through American Airlines. The experience through American was superb but I would of liked clarity on such airline I was going to fly with.
Pros: Crews are very friendly, thank you
Pros: There was quite a large selection of movies. New releases to old classics. All free.
Cons: Boarding was delayed by a few hours due to mechanical issues but they did give us free food and drinks once we were on the plane.
Cons: My outbound flight to Manila had an overnight layover in Japan. I asked at the luggage check-in at O'Hare International Airport if they can check it all the way through as I had planned to go outside of the Narita airport for the layover. They told me I couldn't check the luggage all the way through and that I had to pick it up from baggage claim once I land in Narita. From there I had to check-in the luggage again on the same day. When I took my luggage out from baggage claim, I tried to check-in and the counter crew told me I was given wrong information. I had to keep my luggage with me until my flight the following day. On my return flight from Manila and another overnight layover in Narita, the check-in crew at NAIA told me I could check-in my luggage all the way through, and that they also allowed this at my outbound flight to Manila. The check-in crew at O'Hare International Airport gave me wrong information.
Pros: The seats were comfortable. The flight attendants were courteous.
Cons: The food was not too good.
Pros: Got to my destination on time.
Cons: Where to start? How about when I checked in at the counter, I asked the check in attendant to add my FF number on my ticket. They said they'll get right to it, handed me my tickets and sent me on my way. It never happened. Not a big deal, I can request the mileage post flight, but still something. Look at my tickets, that I had booked a week in advance and specifically reserved an aisle seat. My ticket says "Priority Verification," whatever that means. Turns out it means you don't have a seat, and you get the worst of the worst. So what seat is the worst? How about the middle seat in a row of 5. The middle in a row of 5, on a transoceanic flight... What kind of airlines has 5 in a row? The guy next to me spent $300 for his ticket, I spent $1200, for the same flight, and this is the kind of seat I get? The plane felt like it was straight out of the 90's, carpeted center walls, old seats, tiny tv's. Overall, a plane that felt had not been updated in decades. Took 20 minutes for a flight attendant to respond to the flight attendant sign. This wasn't during beverage or food service, just a normal time at cruising altitude. They also don't have eye masks. Every other transoceanic flight I've been on has them provided in the seat pocket, American Airlines doesn't even have them on the plane! Economy class has no USB or power outlets, the in flight entertainment is about a 5" screen in probably 260p resolution. Decent selection of movies, but you have to join the movie in progress or wait approx 10 minutes for the next movie to start. Legroom was okay unless you had one of the entertainment boxes in your way, then that takes up 30% of your space. Some of the tray tables do not have cup holders, on the top, bottom, or anywhere on it. Also my table was tilted, so every time I put a cup on it, it slid right off. Seems like a minor complaint, but eating dinner and fighting a sliding cup the whole time is a pain. Dinner and breakfast tasted decent, but you can tell American is cheap on the food. Most airlines will give something like a main course, a bread roll, fruit cup/salad, juice, small dessert. American gives you the main course and a fruit cup and that is all. Crappy utensils too. Overall, if I had paid maybe $200 for the flight, I wouldn't have any room to complain, but because American holds the government carrier contract for FY17, I had to fly on them at exorbitant cost, and would never recommend them to anyone.
Pros: The flight was early morning so the plane was basically empty. And the flight was short due to short distance and tail winds. Crew is always friendly and helpful.
Cons: Plane seats are EXTREMELY cramped. We were early but had to sit for 15 minutes waiting for the plane in our spot to leave.
Pros: It was a very peaceful flight. The crew was extremely professional, and courteous, one of the members went out of her way, and frankly it was the kindest flight attendant has been to me in a while.
Cons: The typical complaint you would hear regarding airplane food. Though, it does not warrant a true complaint of the flight.
Cons: Taking away headphones 40 mins prior to landing is ridiculous. AA needs to abandon Bose or figure out a better way.
Cons: We ordered fruits meal but the crew didn't get the request. I have a confirmation email of the meal
Pros: The crew were friendly. We arrived ahead of schedule.
Pros: Polite crew
Cons: Flight delayed 15 min
Pros: Nice, comfortable planes.
Cons: Food quality could be improved.
