Cancelled BOYH legs of our flight home 30 min before initial boarding

Cancelled the flight half hour before boarding. Then cancelled the connecting flight too.

The flight attendant was friendly and efficient. The temperature was kept nice and cool. The plane was nice, but filthy. There were visible spills on my tray table. The gate agent was somewhat rude with her announcements and in speaking with other customers.
