Nothing. I had to wait 1-2 hours to arrived to my destination. And it was an emergency travel
The flight attendants are on their cell phones, no concern for the customers. We had 4 legs and all 4 were late. What ever happened to timeliness.
The plane was a bit dated and there isn’t much legroom.
For a delayed flight, and one that most choose because of the amenities, no one apologized for the lack of amenities. A simple, “we are truly sorry” announced to everyone would have gone miles. Instead, the crew kept trying to almost conceal the total lack of available entertainment and even feign like it might “sort of work” until the last minute. I was traveling with my life partner, who intended upon and did work the whole flight (despite zero internet, even for the little time avail that we are aware of when traveling to/from PR), but also with a just turned 6 year old who had been looking forward to using “his own” screen for the last 2 weeks. Underwhelming to say the least. The crew’s apathy didn’t help.

Cons: "No American Airlines! I have trouble with them every time I have used them. Usually their plane breaks down or requires maintenance, which happened again this trip. It made use have to run from customs to the other end of the airport in 10 minutes to make the connection ."

LaGuardia airport forced passengers to take their car services by walking outside and waiting in a parking garage with (12 degree Fahrenheit feels like -4 and 20 mph winds). Felt frostbite, couldn’t move fingers, and have a sinus headache. absolutely appalling this is NY and USA - yet we can’t have car services pick up pasengers outside the door of the airport, instead require to walk 7 minutes and stand in a freezing air tunnel airport garage. Changes my mind on flying to LAGUARDIA in the future"

Cons: "No personal TV screens to watch movies, which would have been more acceptable if there were plugins at each seat to plug in personal phones/ipads/etc to help maintain battery. BUT THERE WEREN'T. Everyone's phones/ipads died a few hours into the flight and therefore had to stare at the wall for HOURS. I even brought my laptop to get some work done, but without a plugin to keep it charged, it died. In this day and age, for an overseas flight that is 10 hours long, to be this old old without updated features and without plugins, this is unacceptable. Flat out ridiculous. This plane was SO OLD and dingy. Just awful."
Cons: "Very cold cabin despite request to make it warmer, making it impossible to sleep. Food was cheap, carb-heavy fare - rice, crackers, a roll, sugar dessert bisquets all in one meal."
Cons: "Although an email was received 3 hours before departure that everything was on schedule, we were told when checking in our whole itinerary had been changed to leave the next day. We had not been contacted and we missed our daughter’s professional basketball game in France. This was the reason we bought the tickets from Kayak to begin with. The cancellations were happening with British Airlines and they were not working with American Airlines to help us out to get to the game on time."
Cons: "There was no one at the ticket kiosk located by TSA and no sign that said they would be back or to go to another booth. After waiting 10 minutes I️ went upstairs and found a chaotic mass of people checking in at the actual open kiosk. The check in process was not clearly defined and even after spending 30 minutes checking a bag I️ still had to care my checked bag down to another TSA check line. In their boarding area there were minimal phone chargers. The plane was small and no leg room and a rigid uncomfortable seat. Also the flight was at night and they kept the cabin lights on. That was super frustrating to an exhausted traveler who was trying to sleep."
Pros: "Almost everything. Only the food was lacking. I like their new planes. The outlet at the seat in coach. The magazine options at the seat as well. I did not look at the entertainment so I will not rate that. The crew was professional."
Cons: "Just the food options. Ginger snaps was what was served for food and a beverage. I suppose this is what obtains on most airlines these days but can't I hope for something more like maybe a sandwich? AA has the opportunity to set themselves apart in this area."

Cons: "You better hope you don't have a short connection. Sacramento fails to allow you direct access between the A and B terminals. You have to leave and hunt for the other building through the parking garage with no guidance and then go back through security. Unacceptable!"

Cons: "This was by far the most turbulent flight I have ever been on. Perhaps it was due to the remnants of Hurricane Ophelia, but only toward the end did the flight become smooth. I am surprised that a better flight path couldn't have been chosen."

Cons: "This agent spent 30+ min to check us in through a connection flight to Seattle. He couldn't find my wife's reservation, when it should be in the same reservation as me. He tried 5 times, and still failed. Later we found out at the gate that he was using the wrong name (same last name, different first name). Luckily the American Airline agent at the gate was more than competent and efficient to correct the issue in 5 min."

They have become too big for themselves and have not adopted the customer-centric value that prevailing companies have incorporated and are implementing. I predict that they will not be around in the next 10 years if changes are not made."

Pros: "The meals were excellent -- well timed distribution of food throughout the flight. Attentive staff. Good choices for meals and beverages. I liked the fact that we got ice cream halfway through the flight also, that's not a very common thing! Entertainment system was very good -- lots of choices of things to watch/listen to! I was pleased to find that there were movies available that had been very recently released that I had been wanting to see!"
Cons: "Comfort was okay, my seat was on the end of a row with three seats (aisle side) and immediately behind me was a row with only two seats. Without fail, the flight attendants bumped their carts into my chair EVERY time they passed. If I had been trying to sleep, this would be much more of a disturbance to me. Seeing as I was just watching movies and enjoying the food, it wasn't that much of an issue. However, I think it would be easy for the flight attendants to just take a second longer to try to navigate around the chair and not bump it every time. Little things like that go a long way, especially on a long flight."

The follow flight to Toronto was about equally late, but construction and heavy traffic made it unavoidable. I saved a lot of money with the Hopper app. Flying used to be nicer, but this is what cost cutting (anywhere) results in - less service and less comfort. We get what we demand - whether we really want it or not."

As I was walking to the gate, one of the flight attendants that would be working this flight advised someone that was hurrying through the airport that they dropped something. While others may not have noticed or said something, she went out of her way to make sure the item got to its owner. It is little things like this that make life a little better."

We were delayed for hours, missed a connecting flight, had to take another flight which was delayed even longer, they had to find another plane entirely because something was wrong with THAT one. Once we finally got on the plane, we sat on the runway for an hour because there was some kind of TSA-related issue (awesome) and then the airport wouldn't let any planes take off inexplicably. We got to our destination 12 hours later than we were supposed to. But to make up for it, American gave us $10 food vouchers to use in the airport in the middle of the night..."

Then you wouldn't have to threaten your customers to store their small bags under the seat. Then I would have room for my feet under the seat. When I would have been comfortable. I also wouldn't have to annoy my neighbor with trying to move and get comfortable. But instead the exact opposite happened and I'm offended you guys have America anywhere near your name."

Cons: "My SAS flight (which was operated by Air Canada) was delayed by more than 2 hours. A friend who was a fellow passenger was charged for 1 piece of baggage. She should have gotten a break from the baggage fee because of the delayed departure. That's another thing. Why is it that some passengers (like my friends and I) didn't have to pay for our checked baggage, but some passengers (like my other friend) had to fork out a fee for her checked baggage? While we were waiting for our trash (after our meals) to be picked up by a lady crew member, she took so long chatting with a couple of passengers that we had to wait a few minutes before she can get our trash. By then I was dying to get to the bathroom and nearly had an accident as a result. In the future, I'll try to avoid flying with any SAS flight (operated by Air Canada) if I can help it."

Cons: "There was only one working bathroom for coach. I think they said there were 3 working toilets total on the whole plane. I usually like airplane food, but this time it wasn't good. The exit row seats that we "upgraded" to were incredibly narrow, and there's nowhere close to stow your things. Then someone was in our seats when we boarded, and they took all our overhead bin space, so we were left with nothing for our flight. I would Not recommend paying extra for the exit row seats."

Crew could use more friendliness and being more helpful in giving directions especially in flight and for connections. The lady that checked us in was the worst. We gave her boarding passes and passport and after checking she gave them back to me in a disorganized way, I had a toddler and I had to stop and arrange my documents first. She did not even indicate where to keep the strollers. All she cared was to see d face of my toddler, in my effort to get d child up from stroller and turn her around to her, she fell and guess what, this lady did not even react! Unflinching, she just wanted to check d face of my 3 year old in case she is impersonating. That being said, some other staff were very friendly so this is not generalizing all to be same way"

On my flight from Moncton to Montreal I needed several vomit bags just in case some of my cousins wedding drinks wanted to come up. The stewardess quickly grabbed several for me and was very kind. Luckily nothing came up and I felt great at the end of the flight!"

When food service came aroind, people had there seats back amd instead of addressing everyone to politely put their seats in the upright position, she specifically told her (in a very harsh tone) to put her seat up for consideration of the person behind her. The customer said she couldn't because the person in front of her had her seat reclined as well, which left her with very limited space to eat. The flight attendant continued to say she needed to pit her seat upright or take a seat in the back of plane. I was in shock by the flight attendants' unprofessionalism. Flight attendants also need to provide passengers with pens to fill out declarations. Some would not provide customers with pens. I will never fly Air Canada again!"

The crew were very nice and had a good sense of humor. They were the best part. And at least I got an aisle seat--in the very last row of the huge plane. There must have been 500 people on board, and it was full to the gills."

Cons: "My one checked bag did not arrive,. And when I reported it, there was no tracking for it. It was stressful because I had one night before I was leaving for a back country trip and the " lost" bag had " no hits" when the bar Cade was scanned. So I spent hours trying to find someone who could assist me. I lost one whole vacation day dealing with the bag issue. Sure wish I could get some compensation."

I made it in plenty of time for my connecting flight but airline had just decided. No staff member was interested in answering my questions or helping. They all just wanted to sod off home. they just didn't care."

Cons: "Cons: The check in staff is slow and very unhelpful. They need additional staff to help with the long lines. They do not seat you with your family. (Many people on board were separated from their group unnecessarily and they make no attempt to put you together unless you ask at the gate. They refuse to do it before then.) They also overbook flights and put you on standby even if you pay full price and book your flight 6 months in advance AND get to the airport 4 hours in advance."

However you are getting hit at the back end after you make your booking. Just about everyone travels with a bag to ship. It does not do much for the image of Air Canada be a leader in the industry and be up front all the way."

Of all the major airline carriers, Air Canada demonstrates consistent exceptional customer service and have set a standard other carriers should yake note and master."
