The window stopped at about my shoulder so to look out I had to crouch down. AA better stop squeezing us for profits and start delivering a quality service or we'll all find some other airline that puts passengers first."

The I received an email while I was on the way to the airport saying that the airplane that I was going to fly out on was canceled due to airplane maintenance. While I am happy they didn't fly the plane while needing maintenance, they should have planned ahead and known of the maintenance or had a backup ready to go. Obviously it must have been something they just found, but in the big picture of things. You have to pay an way to much for a flight as it is. They should have to solve their own issues to honor their part of the contract. We (as customers) can't cancel a flight with out penalties. Why shouldn't they have to do the same?"

Flight was from Dulles to Hartford and due to depart at 12:30 pm. 12:30 pm - Notified flight delayed an hour or so because they didn't have a flight attendant for the flight. 2:00 pm - Notified flight delayed because Flight Attendant was found but on way. 4:00 pm - Notified the Flight attendant would not be able to make it, but they were looking for another one. 6:00 pm - Notified a Flight Attendant was found and was on a plane that was inbound and would be landing any minute. Notified plane with Flight Attendant arrived at gate and they would be there any minute and we could begin boarding. 6:45 pm - Flight was CANCELLED!!!!! I could go on about how I was rebooked on an 11:00 pm flight on American Airlines out of Reagan, my checked bag was not returned to me and I was told it was on another plane United plane that would beat me to Hartford, they shuttled me to Reagan. I got to Hartford and my bag was not there......SURPRISE!! This was ridiculous and thank god I was traveling alone and had time. I felt bad for the families with small children who had to suffer through this stupidity."

In a customer based business it is so disheartening that the very person you may have to depend on to survive is not vested in the clientele that keeps her company in business, thereby insuring future paychecks. I'd like to communicate here that it wasn't all the attendants on either flight, but enough that it was obvious to anyone who paid even casual attention. I was flying home to California, so there were two additional flights a few days before the flights home. I never had any of the same flight attendants on any of the flight. As far as my observation of the attendants, as stated above, I think that speaks volumes. I will cite an example that happened on my trip from Iowa to Denver. I need wheelchair assistance, I walk with a cane, but not able to walk any distance. I pack a light carry-on, bring my purse, jacket and cane. I was being wheeled up the passageway in a regular wheelchair, and the man pushing me stated to the on-coming crew he "would be right back to get my suitcase, couldn't take both at the same time", and added " unless one of you could roll it up?". After an embarrassing pause, a female flight attendant said "Let the flight attendant do it. Add this to the list of responsibilities that aren't really my job." I actually twisted around to look at this person, I was so stunned to hear that! She grabbed my rolling carry-on handle and the look spoke columns. I was embarrased. Thank you. Debra K. Forsythe"

After being informed that we would not be able to fly out the next day from the Des Moines airport, we. Had no other choice but to rent a car to drive to the Omaha airport. We had to rent a car because they would not accommodate us by changing our return flights to match where we flying out of. This whole experience has been awful for a trip that has been booked for more than 6 months. I plan to continue to inform the public of this horrendous experience."
Cons: "They cancelled my flight into Hartford. I got stuck in Houston then they sent me to Boston. My car was at Bradley international on Boston so I had to wait a few hours when I landed at Logan before a rental car became available, which cost me an extra 200 dollars. I rented the car and drove to Hartford (2 hours) to drop the rental off and get my car. Needless to say I was exhausted for work on Tuesday after getting home at 3am and traveling all day. My original flight from Houston to Hartford was suppose to land at 8pm at Bradley airport. I had several people I was on the trip with who also flew into Hartford the same day with similar arrival times at bradley who were on different airlines. They either had small delays or no delays at all. Extremely inconvenient the trip home was. Although I am all for safety first I am not sure why other airlines still made the trip or simply delayed the flights. Cons: "I was flying out of De Moines, IA to DC with a layover in Chicago. I received an email stating that my flight was changed to 3pm. While the email stated the flight number it didn't state the destinations or the airport. It turns out the email was referring to the layover flight that I had in Chicago. I even called the number provided in the email to verify the change and instead of giving me information on my flights it gave me a status update of the flight at that particular time of the day (Which was the day before when I called and was not something I particularly cared about). This wound up being very bad for me because I slept in and missed my flight. I booked another flight for the next day but a very bad snowstorm hit the east coast and was unable to travel back to DC for 5 more days. I had to get a hotel room in Chicago and spend over $500 in expenses because of this error. United should be more specific when notifying its passengers of any changes by email. This messed up a lot of things for me and I'm very upset with how United handled this"

Pros: "No delays, we were kept informed of status' of the process and we actually arrived slightly ahead of the advertised time. There were no weather or mechanical issues so the flight went off without a hitch."
Pros: "Please address the lax enforcement of one carry-on and one under-the-seat bag/passenger."
Cons: "Overhead compartments were full by the time I boarded so my bag was taken and tagged, as was several other passengers. I noticed upon arrival in Hartford that several passengers had 2 bags in the overhead compartment and their coats as well. If you have a policy of one carry-on and one under-the-seat/passenger, why isn't this enforced? It is not fair to the Group 4 and 5 passengers that there is no room in the overhead compartments and they are forced to relinquish their bags. Furthermore, this results in them having to go to the baggage claim area and wait for their carry-on. This added a half hour to my time and my ride had to circle the airport waiting for me to come out."
Cons: "my original connecting flight was cancelled so i went to the customer service desk where I asked to be booked on a later flight with open seats, instead i was put on standby for the next flight, the standby list was already 5 people long on a flight that was already oversold and asking for people to voluteer to catch a flight via American at 3 pm, my scheduled time. I asked the attendant if that was a possibility for me and they told me i had to go back to customer service. On my way back i called and was told the only option was a 10pm flight which was way later. So i stood in line again and talked to an agent who said she just booked the 3 pm AA flight to the person who was ahead of me, which i could have been on had my first request been filled instead of standby. She put me on standby for a 450 flight. I then called again and FINALLY the agent on the phone was able to put me on a 545 flight no problem which was great. That flight then ended up delayed 2 hours due to maintenance and finding a new aircraft. overall a lot of running around when it could have been taken care of more efficiently."
Pros: "Flight was on time. Staff was polite. Everything ran smoothly for a busy holiday."
Cons: "Airport security at Orlando was insane! The line through TSA must have been over 500 yards. Also, it doesn't appear that this Frontier flight allowed for online confirmation so, although the Frontier Desk was super fast processing passengers, the two lines together was stressful and used up valuable pre-boarding time. Some advance warning might help passengers schedule their arrival at the airport."

Seats were very uncomfortabe and seemed smaller than other airlines I have traveled more frequently. The carpet had gum all over it."

Shortly after takeoff there was a medical energency that they handled with expertise and caring as well as authority. The lead flight attendant and her staff worked together like a well oiled machine. this is our first time flying Frontier and it was an excellent experience. We’lll be back! Oh yea, coffee was great, not that awful strong Starbucks stuff."

The baggage check-in is a bit overpriced considering that there is a flat rate of 25$ for either a large suitcase or a normal-sized carry-on. The 25$ is only when you check-in your luggage before your flight online. If you do it on site, it costs 40$."

Cons: "The plane was definitely older and there was trash and something sticky all in and around my seat. The flight attendants were very stuck up and played on their tablets and phones for the duration of the flight, ate pizza, and looked to be drinking too. Not much customer help, but that's also because no complimentary items are given through frontier, no even a half cup of soda. There are no bonus features on board like wi-fi or tv's on seat backs to order tv or movies. The price of flight was offset by the cost of bags and seat, so I ended up paying the same as I would have via United. I will not be flyin Frontier again."

Cons: "Frontier has got to be the worst airline in the country. This is America's Ryan Air. They close their gate 40 minutes before the plane leaves; you will be stranded if you are late (My son missed his flight in the past when we arrived 50 minutes before the plane left). They charge for everything; checked bags, carry-ons, even drinks. There is no room to store anything. The seats don't recline. There is no entertainment. The staff is surly. They are supposed to be a low-cost airline, but, after all of the mark-ups, it's about the same. They have the worst on-time performance of any domestic airline. Do not fall for it. If you have ANY alternative choice, take it!!!"
Pros: "The flight was super cheap, the flight crew was friendly, and the seats were fairly comfortable."
Cons: "Though a sign was posted with a time when the counter agent would arrive, we (there were MANY of us waiting who had checked in electronically) had to wait over 20 minutes for her to show up to tag and take our checked bags. She was unkempt and unfriendly, and oddly insisted on looking at everyone's identification, even those who weren't checking bags. The flight crew was wonderful, and the rest of the flight was generally good. It's not effective for a travel business to begin a journey on a bad note."
Cons: "The plane was made so cheaply. The seats are now made of a one piece plastic mold that can no longer recline. These seats are then covered with 1/4 of an inch of padding so my backside was so sore after 3.5 hours on the plane. Then between them they put the thin plastic armrests which don't have any sort of tension on them. If your lucky enough to fly behind bored kids, like myself, then you also will learn how terrible of a sound it is as the kids lift them up then drop them so they bounce off the bottom. As if this weren't enough to make me want to rip open the emergency door and jump, we get to the tray table, or lack of. By the time I put my cell phone down on it there was no longer any space available for a drink. Not that I had one of them since it would have set me back another $3.50 after I finished getting ripped off at check in for another $70 on top of what I had already paid for my ticket and bag."

Cons: "I didn't like having to pay extra for my seat on both flights, pay for my carry on that didn't fit in your overhead compartment, and pay for my only carry on, a backpack. I paid for my flight, that should be the price of my seat and the things I need to travel. I pack light and I still had to pay an extra $100 on the day of my flight. VERY dissatisfied."

The captain said they could fly the plane without the auto-pilot but there was an extreme amount of paperwork that had to be completed. Are you kidding me? Two hours to fill out paperwork--that is a complete waste of your employees time, let alone the 200 passengers that are stuck and delayed!!!! At least I now know that "cheaper" is a relative term when flying Frontier airlines. I have lifetime gold status on United...what was I thinking when I booked this flight?"
Cons: "Had to deplane, then get back on the plane, staff didn't communicate what was happening. We still didn't fly out for 45 minutes M. We had a sleepy, cranky baby because we were already flying out 2 hrs later than scheduled. No one checked in on is once. Very frustrating experience and I don't think we will fly frontier again if we can help it."
