I don't know whom I travel with, and I felt at risk knowing that other people know how much cash I have with me. Plus, the money were counted on the passageway to the plane, with people walking by. I strongly believe that you should change the method you ask and check passengers for cash. I heard other details that I shouldn't hear from another women who was also checked. What I ask is PRIVACY."

In the counters at the airport, we asked if it was possible a solution as I suffer with big anxiety and needed to be together my partner during the flight, and they answered us in an extremely rude way. Luckily we could change it with other passangers inside the plane by ourselves. Not a fault of Lufthansa but something that made the flight HORRIBLE was an extremelly smelly and very heavy guy seated next to me that used half of my seat and made me be really uncomfortable."

Pros: "The flight from DTW to FRA was made that much better by a particular flight attendant who actually remembered it was my first time flying. She checked with me personally as we were disembarking in FRA to see how my flight was. I unfortunately did not catch her name, but she was the highlight of the flight. If I fly again, I will definitely fly Lufthansa for flight crew like her. I skipped the evening meal as I was feeling unwell, but I had the breakfast. The fresh fruit, and especially the watermelon was delicious. There just wasn't enough of it."

Flight attendants warned passengers that they had some headsets that would work, but were keeping them reserved for children, so not to bother asking for them. Flight took off more than 3 hours late and airline took no responsibility for delays. Blamed LAX contractors for everything. The airline is responsible for who they do business with. Because of takeoff delays, food and beverage service was also badly delayed. Had to beg for water several hours in, and was brought a single small cup."

My suitcase, perhaps because of this same taxiing delay, missed the flight and had to be sent on the same flight the next day - though it reached me without incident about 24 hours after I reached my home."

BA has tons of movies and TV to choose from, and lots of first-run. This had about 6 TV shows, 2 episodes each, and maybe 20 movies, ranging in age but mostly not very new. When you're on a daytime flight for 7 hours, this becomes something you care about."

Cons: "When I landed in Barcelona, the crew did not give me instructions on my transfer to my connecting AA flight. I had no idea I would go through immigration, end up outside the airport and then take a shuttle to an offsite terminal 20 minutes away to go through security and passport checks again. After walking in circles around the terminal and getting bits of information from Barcelona airport employees I figured it out. I can't imagine how a non-Spanish speaker would have found his/her way."

Pros: "On a long flight, it was great having an empty seat between me (window) and the other passenger in my row (aisle), especially given that I paid an extra $55 for my seat.. ( I do need to add, however, that 5-6 hours into the flight, a passenger two rows back became ill which required that the row be vacated so I ended up with a young woman sitting in the middle seat next to me who announced that she was sick -- and looked that way.)"

Cons: "They have a terrible communication problem, they never communicated why the flight was late, they never communicated what they were doing or what was happening. Bad customer service. Bad communication with the client. They told us when I asked several times that we would not lose our connection and that everything was fine and that was not the case. We lost the connection. No one told us anything. Another problem was that the girl in the boarding process removed the suitcases tickets from the boarding pass and did not want to return them, and held it without any cause. The flight staff went looking for us. Pretty sad and disappointed by their service. I understand that they were causes outside the airline but must communicate to the client. They cannot remain silent and say nothing."

With all the bad weather, I was already very happy to connect right on time in Paris. However, a long haul A380 flight with such a tight seat configurstion is almost embarrassing for an airline. The in flight entertainment is at a very poor level, not only with the screen being very small and outdated, many of the movies are only available in French and the international selection very limited. The food was not much of a delight, whereas the presentation was nice. However, in all the 7 h between the services, nobody came around with refreshments in a completely booked flight, neither was announced that a trolly would be set for self service in the galley. Lucky the ones who got up and found out about. In terms of amenities, again, the airline is lacking of originality and saves cost. Bottom line: you get from A to B, but there are so many better competitors in the market, which I shall definitely consider on my next travel."

No seatback entertainment! On Airbus with very limited overhead hand baggage capacity. Roundtrip cost of this 4 hour flight CDN$800 per person booked 3 months in advance, not much less than transatlantic flight of almost twice the time from Toronto to London on Air Canada Boeing 787 with loads of overhead luggage capacity, free first checked bag, 8 inch screen seat back entertainment system, charging ports, one major meal with wine / beer, unlimited pop, plus snack. A real shocker to get Ryanair amenities on this British Airways flight which was no bargain."

Of course, given how the process in dealing with Kayak and this booking, it did not surprise me. Any calls or customer service related questions were handled as though we were 2nd class citizens. I've never been treated like this traveling, but always the attitude came from "oh, you booked this through a discount site" and then I was handled accordingly. I booked it through Kayak for ease as I planned a 7-city, 21 day trip around the Adriatic. Now we'll do our honeymoon without a wardrobe change, filing claims for the contents of our bags, as no one can tell us what happened, or where the bags are, and we're about to depart for our next city. Never, NEVER book a trip from a 3rd party. The seats next to the toilets that don't recline, attitude from airlines, now my first lost bag in 10 years (I fly 3 times a month, too)."

Pros: "Heathrow is huge and our gate changed during the last hour with out announcement until 35 minutes before the flight. There was a 2nd flight flying at the same time from a different gate with the same flight # with simply an A added which was very confusing."
Cons: "Absolutely no food and we were charged for a soda... seriously? It took the WIFI 5 minutes to process the 1.75 sale. Are you kidding BA? Flight attend were indifferent to passengers and actually held their chlorine with the foolish shopping cart when we tried to make it to the rest room. Unpleasant at best. Oh, and there was no entertainment at all on the 767 we had unless you count the magazine. Sorry BA, you have some work to do."

Cons: "Boarding process for coach from London to Dallas was chaotic. After all the various special groups were loaded in an orderly fashion the other 80% were called en masse which was disorderly. We had a lot of turbulence which the captain never addressed. I get he has to fly the plane but he could give folks a heads up on how long it was anticipated to last. It's scary at times and a word from the expert would be calming. Bathrooms ran out of toilet paper."

Pros: "The crew were great and friendly. The check-in agent put my father's name on notice for assistance in London for his achy knees."
Cons: "We only brought (2 - 1 each) carry on bags and were asked multiple times to check the bags even though they fit easily on the aircraft. We only had one hour to connect in London so we (1) could not risk losing our bags and (2) needed them for our things. Food was only available for purchase as is the case in the US now. British Airways was always a cut above in my eyes, now they are just part of the herd."

Cons: "The flight was delayed for over an hour after boarding, and the temperature was uncomfortably warm. Even after takeoff, it took several hours for the temperature to cool down to normal.
