Cons: "We left DC late because of Delta's inefficient boarding process. We landed in Atlanta late. Our flight to Sioux Falls left early, without us. My pregnant wife and I made it to the gate 4 minutes before the scheduled departure and they told us the plane was already gone and there was no way for us to get on the plane. Our bags did make it to Sioux Falls, so my wife didn't have her prenatal vitamins, , we had no clean clothes and we were forced to spend the night in Atlanta. The saddest part of yet another terrible experience with Delta was that they offered us a "discounted" room at a terrible Howard Johnson for $72. I looked online and the same hotel was $65 to book on Kayak. So basically Delta was trying to scam us after they screwed us. Thanks Delta! Instead we paid $200+ to stay at an airport hotel. Every time I fly Delta I regret it, yet occasionally I get forced to take their awful airline to get somewhere I need to go. It never fails to add another bad Delta experience to my long list of failings from this SAD!!! airline."

I slept in the airport because i couldnt find a hotel to spend the night close to the airport. They were all full and i had no time to find one since I was waiting there for 3 hours with no informational. I slept on the floor and delta didnt even offer us a blanket. That was my worst trip ever."

While I understand there are some delays sometimes, this was the ONLY flight to Greensboro out of DCA, and the times kept changing throughout the day, even though the gate agents knew that the issue was that the crew was delayed. There should be backup crew available and when there are delays, the passengers should be kept informed. There should be other flight options available when this happens. I never received an apology from anyone I encountered throughout the process, and some personnel were rude even though I was polite."

No doubt the crew was also columbus based and eager to get home...as they did. Couldn’t be more pleased to get home"

Rebooked using the mobile app but could not check in on mobile or at the kiosk. Waited in line for almost 2 hours for AA to simply check us in and print passes. The flight did not get catering refreshed after landing in DC so no refreshments or snacks were offered during the flight home."

Cons: "Arrived in Phoenix and hurried to my next gate for the flight to Palm Springs only to discover a delay in the flight. No marguees were updated, no explanation just the plane had not arrived. Soon after we were told of a gate change, the marquee then said the flight would not arrive until 11 pm it is a one hour flight, so we actually arrived at 10 pm."

This wouldn't be so bad if they were able to handle it in an orderly way, but the airport showed complete incompetence in organizing anything and there were people everywhere trying to find the right door which kept changing on them, and the times kept changing...it was a mess. Then, when we finally got on the plane and were about to take off, the air traffic control tower called and said that their flight path was incorrect and to not take off...but didn't give them a new flight path for nearly two hours as we sat on the runway. Nationalize the airports in DC, fire the whole lot and start fresh, I'd say."

Followed by long customer service lines and "sorry buts" to flat out lying from gate attendants and stewardesses. I know most of the airlines do it but now that you are making a profit I think it's time to give back to the customer when weather complicates their travel. But most of all, please just give us the decency of the truth -- it sucks-- but we can handle it. Yes there will always be those out of control customers that scream and yell, but most of us, as what I witnessed-when it all breaks down--are chill and understand. Complimentary drinks. Coupons for a later flight. All hands on deck with crazy knowledge of the routes you fly to ease rebooking. I realize we as a people can't stop flying, whether it be for work or family needs, but you can't keep treating us like stupid cattle. Thank you whoever reads this for letting me express my frustration and thank you AA ultimately for getting me to my destination."

This was not communicated, and we ended up walking around a lot and having to ask at the info desk. When we finally got to the counter, the woman there gave confusing instructions and was incredibly rude to us. As for entertainment on the flight, we couldn't do anything without the app, which you have to get before you're on the plane. Boo."

Cons: "This format of business class seating leaves a lot to be desired. There is literally no place to store anything except maybe your cellphone on the shelf under the TV screen. No room for a backpack on the floor - has to be in the overhead. Not convenient on an 8-hour overnight. Seats are tight - could not lay on my back - had to sleep on my side. No separation between seats - it was a 2, 4, 2 layout and the guy next to me coughed all night. At least I wasn't in one of the middle seats. Expensive flight for that type of setup IMHO. And given it was a 777, the plane was big enough."

I also had to remember to write down the number of that bin so I could retrieve my carryon at the end of my flight.Toilet was not very clean."

There was an issue with the infant ticket and the United check in agent was incompetent to fix it, which made us late for boarding. No one helped me at boarding with taking the stroller from me. On board the crew members were annoyed when I ask for some hot water for a baby bottle. And it's sad that children don't get a kid's meal ( which we received flying with many other airlines) and have to eat the uneatable adult meal. That was my first and last time flying with United."

Cons: "My layover in DC was nearly non existent due to the flight from Detroit to DC was a bit delayed, but only by 30 mins at the very most. But what I did not like is that my electronic boarding pass I was using on my phone had become expired for some reason, saying my flight had already left the gate as SOON as I landed in DC, but the flight listings said my flight was on time. I then had to visit a customer service desk for them to check what was going on, to check my flight and print me my boarding pass, but they said "I need to hurry"... I JUST LANDED! I then had to hastily make my way to the other side of the terminal just to make the flight that I should have had just over an hour layover for. Was not happy!"

Cons: "There should be a message when booking through travel sites about having to pay additionally for your seat and even carry-on baggage at the time of check-in. This never used to be policy for Frontier and I was shocked to pay $68 from Columbus to Denver and then $58 on the way back just for my carry-on and seat. I also had two unattended toddlers behind me on the way home which were disturbing the entire flight. Their mother chose to sit across the aisle for some reason and they were literally screaming the entire way. Perhaps an adult or parental guardian should be required to sit with children under the age of 6? Come on."

Frontier airlines is only one step above because they will give you water. The seats are too tight, not enough leg room. I'm 6'2" and 230 lbs. You buy a ticket for a reasonable amount, but then you get hit with the unreasonable add ons: you want checked bag $35, carry-on baggage $45, you want to sit together $25, and on and on. Let me not forget, I need a boarding pass to get thru security to get to the gate to catch the flight I have paid for, $5. I'm looking for an airline that puts people before profit.#AMERICANAIRLINESSUCK"

Read the safety info or the back of the barf bag, that's all Frontier provides. 7-Paid $50 each to upgrade seats to front (1st class?) No refreshments, no amenities, just a bigger tray table and a reclining seat. For $50. Sat on tarmac for 1.5 hours in 90 degree heat. I know this because I could hear the pilot yelling over the radio that it was 90 degrees in the plane. No A/C while on tarmac because APU was down, according to pilot announcement. Everyone I talked to felt deceived by the online check in and the extra charge for seats (if you want to sit with your party, otherwise no guarantees). Bad representation, deceptive web check in, uncomfortable plane, zero amenities unless you PAY EXTRA. Sorry Frontier, but FAIL!!!!"

Cons: "Plane was delayed by 5 and a half hours due to a storm. Something Frontier had no control over. What they did have control over, however, was their communication, which was non-existent. People at the gate wouldn't tell passengers anything, and responded to questions with "I don't know." When one woman complained about the lack of communication, a Frontier worker told her dismissively that she could call the manager. We kept learning about the flight delays by watching the status board. The front gate workers wouldn't say anything, and most people were too worried about missing the flight to run and get something to eat."

Cons: "The flight was delayed for nearly 4 hours, without notice or explanation for most of that time - even though it was a foregone conclusion, because a replacement aircraft had to be flown from CA to FL for maintenance reasons. Then, the counter personnel were arrogant and offensive in dealing with disappointed passengers (who would not be arriving at their destination until 2 am). Frontier is absolutely the worst airline I have dealt with in the past several years, and I am not likely to ever book a flight on Frontier again - especially since the hidden fees tend to make the ultimate price nearly the same as other airlines."

Pros: "It was my first frontier flight. I appreciate the rates that frontier offers. However, the charge you for everything else (seats, bags, food, etc). I can complain though especially withbthe rate I received for a riundtrip ticket. The flight was not bad, it was 1 1/2 so I was looking for anything fancy. A longer trip I definitely would pay for comfort and amenities. The crew was pleasant and the plane was clean."

If you have no bags then you are good. This is definitely a good airline for business travelers who are moving back and forth for work. Although there is no wifi."
