As someone who has flight anxiety that was not something that sat well. In addition we were not given any instruction on what to do at that point. Should we try to find another flight?.. Should we wait for the plane to get fixed?.. Are we all boarding another plane?... Everyone was confused and frustrated!"

No notification either email or text from Jet Blue to check in. Seemed to make the process harder to complete. The mobile site for Jet Blue was not very reliable or user friendly and made getting boarding passes quite trying. All this only applies to the DCA to TPA leg of our trip."

Cons: "There was some entertainment at Ft Lauderdale Airport when we arrived. The person who knew how to drive the bridge between aircraft and terminal was not there. Someone pitched in and rammed the aircraft around 4 times, trying to make a good connection."

Cons: "We left DC late because of Delta's inefficient boarding process. We landed in Atlanta late. Our flight to Sioux Falls left early, without us. My pregnant wife and I made it to the gate 4 minutes before the scheduled departure and they told us the plane was already gone and there was no way for us to get on the plane. Our bags did make it to Sioux Falls, so my wife didn't have her prenatal vitamins, , we had no clean clothes and we were forced to spend the night in Atlanta. The saddest part of yet another terrible experience with Delta was that they offered us a "discounted" room at a terrible Howard Johnson for $72. I looked online and the same hotel was $65 to book on Kayak. So basically Delta was trying to scam us after they screwed us. Thanks Delta! Instead we paid $200+ to stay at an airport hotel. Every time I fly Delta I regret it, yet occasionally I get forced to take their awful airline to get somewhere I need to go. It never fails to add another bad Delta experience to my long list of failings from this SAD!!! airline."

I slept in the airport because i couldnt find a hotel to spend the night close to the airport. They were all full and i had no time to find one since I was waiting there for 3 hours with no informational. I slept on the floor and delta didnt even offer us a blanket. That was my worst trip ever."

The difference between Delta and all other domestic carriers is just overwhelming. United and American/US Air could learn a lot from Delta. I could have flown this trip direct on United, but chose to fly through Atlanta on Delta for less money and a better experience from the baggage check to the gate to the in-flight experience."

While I understand there are some delays sometimes, this was the ONLY flight to Greensboro out of DCA, and the times kept changing throughout the day, even though the gate agents knew that the issue was that the crew was delayed. There should be backup crew available and when there are delays, the passengers should be kept informed. There should be other flight options available when this happens. I never received an apology from anyone I encountered throughout the process, and some personnel were rude even though I was polite."

Soon after we were told of a gate change, the marquee then said the flight would not arrive until 11 pm it is a one hour flight, so we actually arrived at 10 pm."

This wouldn't be so bad if they were able to handle it in an orderly way, but the airport showed complete incompetence in organizing anything and there were people everywhere trying to find the right door which kept changing on them, and the times kept changing...it was a mess. Then, when we finally got on the plane and were about to take off, the air traffic control tower called and said that their flight path was incorrect and to not take off...but didn't give them a new flight path for nearly two hours as we sat on the runway. Nationalize the airports in DC, fire the whole lot and start fresh, I'd say."

Althiugh the flight is only 1.35 hours, I was surprised that flight attendants didn't even make an effort to offer a drink service. No turbulence or anything, just seems they were lazy."

I know most of the airlines do it but now that you are making a profit I think it's time to give back to the customer when weather complicates their travel. But most of all, please just give us the decency of the truth -- it sucks-- but we can handle it. Yes there will always be those out of control customers that scream and yell, but most of us, as what I witnessed-when it all breaks down--are chill and understand. Complimentary drinks. Coupons for a later flight. All hands on deck with crazy knowledge of the routes you fly to ease rebooking. I realize we as a people can't stop flying, whether it be for work or family needs, but you can't keep treating us like stupid cattle. Thank you whoever reads this for letting me express my frustration and thank you AA ultimately for getting me to my destination."

Yet at every stage the flight crew and gate staff did an outstanding job communicating and seeking to alleviate passenger woes. With delays, we missed connections, and yet AA worked wonderfully to find alternatives. At the end of the day, we arrived at our destination, and even our luggage made the trip successfully! Wonderful courtesy, adaptability, and determination to serve. Thank you."

Cons: "6 1/2 hour delay due to navigation system crash. Two gate changes and a terminal change. New seats assigned, but then when 3rd plane was brought in, it had the exact configuration of the first and we were told we should use the original boarding passes. These turned out to be wrong because they reseated after the first plane went down and it’s replacement wasn’t the same configuration. We never saw that plane, or the gate it was assigned to. When we went to rebound, my wife I am were separated. We were moved to the way back (screaming baby sandwich - one in front and one behind us). Then we spent an hour in the worst turbulence I’ve seen in 20 years - I nearly vomited. the last 6 hours of this 15 hour ordeal were fine."
Cons: "We took off about three hours late because of a small mechanical problem discovered after we boarded. The plane had been sitting at Dulles for 12 hours. Couldn't it have been checked earlier in the day?"

Cons: "In order to access the bus which took passengers to the plane required going down three flights of stairs and two flights up to the plane. This made carry on luggage and personal bag difficult."

Cons: "Too much food offered and it wasn't of any real quality, so processed and carb heavy. There was a maintenance issue with our screens for a few hours, that was a little disappointing."

I got to Frankfort and stood in 3 more lines to get on standby. I’m hoping to get to Naples before the last ferry to Capri in order to make my sister’s wedding."

Cons: "Missed our flight from Brussels to Zurich. United said we were booked on next flight six hours later. Gave us vouchers and that was it. Went to check in and the carrier said sorry you can’t board United did not book you. The voucher just has prior info and this flight time. So we missed getting on that flight 3 total hours on the phone with United and they did nothing but put us on hold. Thank you to Brussels air who finally after many years and frustration helped us so we could leave. More than 10 hours later than we should have. Horrible experience and we lost a day of vacation and pre paid plans for the evening I will never use kayak again for international flights. As that was part of the problem per United (probably BS but won’t ever risk it again) and will never use United airlines again as their customer service and lack of caring showed that companies true colors. I hope the rest of this dream vacation is better than this nightmare was."

No room for a backpack on the floor - has to be in the overhead. Not convenient on an 8-hour overnight. Seats are tight - could not lay on my back - had to sleep on my side. No separation between seats - it was a 2, 4, 2 layout and the guy next to me coughed all night. At least I wasn't in one of the middle seats. Expensive flight for that type of setup IMHO. And given it was a 777, the plane was big enough."

I also had to remember to write down the number of that bin so I could retrieve my carryon at the end of my flight.Toilet was not very clean."

There was an issue with the infant ticket and the United check in agent was incompetent to fix it, which made us late for boarding. No one helped me at boarding with taking the stroller from me. On board the crew members were annoyed when I ask for some hot water for a baby bottle. And it's sad that children don't get a kid's meal ( which we received flying with many other airlines) and have to eat the uneatable adult meal. That was my first and last time flying with United."

People at the gate wouldn't tell passengers anything, and responded to questions with "I don't know." When one woman complained about the lack of communication, a Frontier worker told her dismissively that she could call the manager. We kept learning about the flight delays by watching the status board. The front gate workers wouldn't say anything, and most people were too worried about missing the flight to run and get something to eat."

Cons: "The flight was delayed for nearly 4 hours, without notice or explanation for most of that time - even though it was a foregone conclusion, because a replacement aircraft had to be flown from CA to FL for maintenance reasons. Then, the counter personnel were arrogant and offensive in dealing with disappointed passengers (who would not be arriving at their destination until 2 am). Frontier is absolutely the worst airline I have dealt with in the past several years, and I am not likely to ever book a flight on Frontier again - especially since the hidden fees tend to make the ultimate price nearly the same as other airlines."

The cheaper price to fly frontier was not worth it."
