The experience with United Airlines was excellent; however, the experience with Houston Intercontinental Airport (IAH) was horrible. Although our flight departed from Terminal B, we had to go through security in Terminal C and then get on a train for travel to Terminal B. Additionally, there was significant walking required to get to the boarding location.
Flight was delayed 5 hours. Updates kept changing. Sears were extremely cramped. Very little leg room. Flight attendant was rushing through with drinks and hit me in the knee either the cart and didn’t apologize. They gave a 15 dollar voucher in airport which doesn’t buy. Much and it was so late that choices were limited.
Always pretty good as far as I see it. Staff was friendly and process was quick to get on and off.
The flight was delayed because they closed several flight ways because of air shows, fire works, etc.
Flight left on time and we arrived 25 minutes early! There was a gate available when we arrived so early on a busy Sunday afternoon! Flight attendants came around twice with the drinks cart.
After a delay at the gate, C3, at Ohare on Sunday, I left my Blk ski coat on the bench at the gate, lost! Please review my lob claim, thx.
Stewardess spilled orange juice on my clothes/seat no help no apology just threw napkins at me to clean the mess up. Not Happy.
Overall, it was a good experience. Boarding was good and there was plenty of overhead bin space for everyone’s carryons (even when we boarded toward the end). Only improvement would be to offer trash service more regularly.
Slight delay but not bad. UA app worked well! Got regular updates of gate changes, etc. Don't have any complaints.
If other people in flight, followed instructions and were much cleaner.
Movie selection was nice and chicken with rice dinner was good. I did not like the pizza thing they served for breakfast/lunch. It was like a hot pocket but mostly bread. A small sandwich or cheese and cracker snack and fruit etc would have been much better. Also they did not announce trash pick up so a lot of trash was left by everyone when departing.
The food on this flight was better than what we had getting to Rome. The flight was comfortable and the staff was great. One of the staff members was a stickler about the blankets in the aisle, which I get, but still. Overall, great flight and will fly with them again!
How about changing the personal out to more friendly human beings? This team was pretty arrogant. No fun!!
Booked seats (paid extra) online and found they didn’t exist on the flight. We were then separated from the rest of our party. Given seats in the very back of the plane. We will not fly Discover or Lufthansa again. We will not book flights or travel through Kayak again!
Bought a seat in a flight that got changed out so ended up paying for a seat I would have had if I hadn't paid.
Love the little chocolate bars, and consumer rights in EU regarding stepped refunds when flights are delayed.
Staff was rude in business class. Luggage was damaged and nothing was done about it airlines.
We were helped whenever needed and had a pleasant flight.

Flew business class, flight on time, crew excellent. Boarding a bit chaotic...unsure why groups 1&2 board together and not one group at a time however an issue on all airlines. Designated lines would help.
