We couldn’t take the direct flight back home in Florida because the flight in Palermo was delayed flor long time and keep us inside the cabin without moving the plane. The plane from Munich to Orlando was still there when we arrived to the gate but they said it was late for us to board the plane. We rushed the most to get there. It was a bad experience and got back exhausted and with pain in all muy body. We are seniors 72 and for us was very bad
The experience with United Airlines was excellent; however, the experience with Houston Intercontinental Airport (IAH) was horrible. Although our flight departed from Terminal B, we had to go through security in Terminal C and then get on a train for travel to Terminal B. Additionally, there was significant walking required to get to the boarding location.
Flight was delayed 5 hours. Updates kept changing. Sears were extremely cramped. Very little leg room. Flight attendant was rushing through with drinks and hit me in the knee either the cart and didn’t apologize. They gave a 15 dollar voucher in airport which doesn’t buy. Much and it was so late that choices were limited.
Always pretty good as far as I see it. Staff was friendly and process was quick to get on and off.
The flight was delayed because they closed several flight ways because of air shows, fire works, etc.
Lost one piece of luggage even though I checked in 2.5 hours before the flight
Flight left on time and we arrived 25 minutes early! There was a gate available when we arrived so early on a busy Sunday afternoon! Flight attendants came around twice with the drinks cart.
After a delay at the gate, C3, at Ohare on Sunday, I left my Blk ski coat on the bench at the gate, lost! Please review my lob claim, thx.
Stewardess spilled orange juice on my clothes/seat no help no apology just threw napkins at me to clean the mess up. Not Happy.
Overall, it was a good experience. Boarding was good and there was plenty of overhead bin space for everyone’s carryons (even when we boarded toward the end). Only improvement would be to offer trash service more regularly.
Movie selection was nice and chicken with rice dinner was good. I did not like the pizza thing they served for breakfast/lunch. It was like a hot pocket but mostly bread. A small sandwich or cheese and cracker snack and fruit etc would have been much better. Also they did not announce trash pick up so a lot of trash was left by everyone when departing.
The food on this flight was better than what we had getting to Rome. The flight was comfortable and the staff was great. One of the staff members was a stickler about the blankets in the aisle, which I get, but still. Overall, great flight and will fly with them again!
How about changing the personal out to more friendly human beings? This team was pretty arrogant. No fun!!
Booked seats (paid extra) online and found they didn’t exist on the flight. We were then separated from the rest of our party. Given seats in the very back of the plane. We will not fly Discover or Lufthansa again. We will not book flights or travel through Kayak again!
Bought a seat in a flight that got changed out so ended up paying for a seat I would have had if I hadn't paid.
I paid for extra legroom which made the long flight very comfortable. Food was very tasty, they fed us 2 meals plus a cookie snack and extra liquids. Checked luggage is expensive.
Flight was delayed over one hour and I had to pay to select my seat, even though my booking supposedly had free selection (I paid extra for this at time of booking)
The male attendant has zero personality. It seemed like he was over worked or hated his job, not once did he smile or made any contact with the people on the plane. Strictly business and call it a day!
Nothing -they cancelled the flight with less than 12 hours notice
Flew business class, flight on time, crew excellent. Boarding a bit chaotic...unsure why groups 1&2 board together and not one group at a time however an issue on all airlines. Designated lines would help.
