Terrible, My mom and myself waited more than 3 hours in the check in line and because of AA staff negligence lost the flight, locator ZXOFZS. The bad service of the crew was incredible at the RDU airport.
The flight attendants are on their cell phones, no concern for the customers. We had 4 legs and all 4 were late. What ever happened to timeliness.
Compared to other US airlines, American is the worst. The planes are tight. Seats are uncomfortable and there was no option to buy food on a 6 hour flight. Also the free wifi didn’t work.
Cons: "Did not allow use of exit rows to improve social distancing (those seats “not in my class of service“). Flight was crowded."

They had just gone through the entire procedure to get to the gate and were forced to be stranded. FIRST CLASS: food service: could there be a rating less than POOR? we were given 10,000 miles (yes that bad) but just like Whose line - the points don't matter when the airlines is that bad! Crew response: We're not any worse than the other airlines - my response: WRONG! NO WIFI NO entertainment NO CHARGING AREA magazines were missing pages in both seats- requested new one never received"

Avianca charge me another 900 Dollars on Top of 828 Dollars I did paid on Kayak.com, to "reschedule all my trip", that finally is exactly the same I had before . Avianca overcharged me 898 on top of what I Paid Luggage came destroyed and with missing thing at the final destination, nobody take care of that yet. even I made the compliant on write."

Cons: "Film selection was subpar, and had no subtitles available. Flight safety information video so unbelievably boring. Flight crew repeated all instructions at least 3 times including video interruptions. What is the point of having in flight entertainment if crew will interrupt said entertainment at least once every 10 min to remind you you are still in turbulent air? Do they honestly think the passengers forgot? We are in the plane too! I understand they have to be careful due to liability but this airline is ridiculous. Believe it or not customers do not like being treated like children. Would not recommend to others or fly this airline again. Also, the lunch was awful even by airline standards. Btw the airline was avianca not AA. kayak must have messed up or they are owned by AA. AA is great and I recommend them wholeheartedly but Avianca is awful. Stay away if you can afford to do so."
Cons: "Baggage was damaged, which required a claim to be submitted. Company policy requires me to take the damaged baggage home, empty it, and return it to the airport. The airport is 1-1/2 hours from my house. They inconvenience me by handling my baggage like an ape and then continue to inconvenience me by requiring me to go way out of my way to get it repaired. American Airlines apparently does not understand what customer service means."

Cons: "The seat in front of ours had a box of some sort that took uo the already tiny space for stowing your bag or placcing your feet. In fact, sitting there would have been miserable and my husband had to move to another seat for ite 9 hour flight."
