Surprisingly the coffee was pretty good and they had a gluten free bar handy!

Noting this only because it’s so unusual for delta: this was just an uncomfortable flight. The jet ridge was too hot and the plane wasn’t any better. By the time we got off the ground the AC was on but for such a short flight it was almost too late.
1) It was extremely hot in the cabin. All the passengers were sweating and it almost became suffocating 2) It was a 50 min flight but there was no service. How can a 50 minute flight not have any drink/snack service?
I thought the service was very nice and pleasant. There were no hiccups and no issues so overall a good experience.
Average seat comfort, a drink and chips were provided, early boarding because we checked a carryon at the gate was nice. Ticket pricing shenanigans, including fees to pick a seat, check a bag, and get food onboard - evidence the industry is reinvigorating last century’s strategies- destroys the experience before one ever arrives at the airport. It’s difficult to recognize any value or sustain loyalty in the end-to-end process making air travel more drudgery than pleasure.
WiFi didn’t work. Flight delayed 3 hours Crew members were illiterate Seat lean back did not work.
The plan was delayed and left DC 90 minutes late. However, it showed a 20 minute delay on the delta app, then a 12 min delay. It turned out to be an hour delay. I found out where the plane was with flightaware. Stop keeping customers in the dark about what is going on.
Could not get my connecting flight boarding pass until four hrs before departure! Ver annoying especially since the staff could not explain why!
Short flight. Perfect crew. Older plane. But clean and comfortable
Flight was delayed significantly at take off and landing. Confusion of gate assignment with back and forth. Overall, makes for a very unpleasant experience that appears to come down to inept operational management.
We had a 1 hour delay due to mechanical issues, then another hour, then 2, and eventually it was an 8 hour delay. The airport staff was confused about gate changes, as they were not getting good communication. They were trying, but we changed gates 5 times in one hour!
Confusion at boarding with my seat (there wasn't one) that I had to have corrected using my status; then because of that had to check bags. And then a very long delay on the tarmac with no air conditioning on a very warm day. It was just a miserable experience all around.
Flight was delayed which isn’t the airline’s fault, but the communication around it was terrible. I left the lounge to show up at the gate to board at the time in my app, and the flight in front of mine was still boarding and the inbound plane hadn’t even taken off yet. Delays were slow to show up in my app. Improved communication could have let me have a more pleasant experience in the lounge vs waiting 1.5 hours at the gate.
We had to de-board do to maintenance and there was ZERO help with getting rebooked. The flight was delayed by over 24 hours. Quite ridiculous. When I. called Kayak to get help to rebook, they said they couldn't and that it had to be done at the American counter that didn't exist without going outside TSA security, which I did.
The airline company should manage their crew for the plane on better schedule so people don’t have to wait in the plane. And this flight that I had had no snacks offered, and if you would like a water, you had to come see somebody and ask for. If airline would let people know that they are no longer providing or offering any food. At least people could bring their own if they wish.
ATL to CLT return flight. Delayed way too severely. Had to cancel the return flight.
The flight up was great no issues. The flight back home was a cluster. I was told the plane I was waiting on was giving to another flight which caused me to miss my connection flight. Granted the airline did great with getting hotel and vouchr for food.

The ground closures and flight delays were unwelcome. I think the captain did what he could to manage expectations for the delays, but the stress level increasing in the cabin was palpable with every announcement. It may be obvious to those who fly frequently, but if the ground is closed for us to get to a gate, it's also closed for connecting flights to leave. Other passengers were so stressed they were rude. A bit further explanation could have helped.
