Cons: "I understand the possibility of flight delay. I also believe that a proper notice should be deliver to customers as early as possible. My flight was scheduled at 6:50pm, and thus I arrived at the airport around 5:30pm and went through security check. I found that my flight is now scheduled to depart at 10:40pm. There was no explanation, and I did not recieve any notice. It can be easily sent via email or text message. Now, I have to wait for 4 HOURS at the airport. I was a quite disappointed by this unacceptable service."

Cons: "Policy of not allowing check in within 40 minutes of flying flight. This policy maybe Makes sense in LAX Or chicago but not in tiny airports like fresno. I had already checked in online but becAuse of a glitch couldnt access it. I went to customer service desk and Asked for a hard copy boarding pass but Alaska Would not help me , it was Too late. So I waited for 38 minutes, watching an empty TSA line and then listened as my flight pre-boarded, , boarded and took Off without me. Then I had to buy an American airlines Ticket to reach san diego via LAX 5 hours Later. Alaska was a big let down this time."

Pros: "I can't say enough great things about this airline! This was my first time on Alaska and it definitely won't be my last. We had some weather issues come up as we were about to take off. The pilot kept us up today on info, the flight crew brought water & anything else people needed before take off. It was a short delay but you would have thought we were going to be there for hours because they were all so attentive. It was the smoothest flight (THERE WAS CRAZY WEATHER EVERYWHERE!!) but our pilots made sure we had the smoothest safest flight possible. I could go on forever! This airline went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure we were comfortable and had a great flight."

Cons: "Staff were very inconsistent on rules regarding my tiny Yorkie. Some were inflexible and borderline rude, others did not give her a second glance. I get that people are valued more than animals, however I paid $200 for my dog's ticket. That translates into, Treat me and my dog with respect and don't give me stank-eye if I'm trying to clean up her first-flight puke, thus lifting her out of the bag. Vote: Thumbs down for policy consistency and compassion."

Cons: "In flight entertainment system worked great for the first hour or so and then would spool for several minutes for every minute of movie that it would play. Flight attendants could not so anything to fix it."

Pros: "The plane was newer at least. And I made a big enough stink when they made me check my bubble-wrapped framed paintings that they actually did get hand carried and made it okay."
Cons: "These are the smallest seats I have ever experienced on a domestic airline. I'm 6'-4" and I couldn't fit comfortably on their newer 737. The thing that took the cake was that the cabin crew absolutely refused to let me take one of the 5 empty exit row seats telling me that it wasn't fair to the people who paid more, which absolutely enraged me. So then apparently it's also fair that their seats will fit someone who is 5'-4" comfortably but not someone who is 6'-4"?? So it's fair that I can't afford to pay an extra $100+ for it after my profession got gutted in the recession and I make a fraction now of that I used to make? Making your customers suffer for no good reason is inexcusable. I will not be flying United again. Ever."

Pros: "They let me on the flight after I ran from the first flight to this. My first flight was delayed over 1hr. Thankfully (and it's ironic that I'm grateful) that the connecting flight was also delayed by 20 min."
Cons: "Why can't we be places on a temp standby if there are delays? They had to give me a whole new ticket when I was able to board because they gave up my seat when they thought I wouldn't make it."

The gate was switched to C11. However, my app did not alert me nore did it reflect the gate change. I didn't receive a text or email update. I had to run to the different concourse nearly missing the fling."

Pros: "My mother is disabled and was assigned wheelchair assistance and does not speak English very very hopeful does not have a cell phone because she is disable and does not know how to use a cell phone I was calling the one 800 number for united airlines they gave me a phone number for the terminal where she was delayed and I was just trying to check to see if my mother was aware of what was going on with the delay I just need to know if my mother was OK to give her comfort but unfortunately the number they gave me was not working I was calling over 30 rings with nobody answering for over three hours O'Hare airport was very hopeless for united airlines it's a shame that that is their head quarters i'm pretty sure I will never ever use United Airline again in my life after the terrifying experience I had waiting over four hours from my mother besides the four hour flight I was very terrified until my mother was in my arms I never ever want to experience that again or I hopefully nobody ever that uses your United airline will ever experience that"
