Cons: "I didn't go on my trip. My course in SF was cancelled and United would n't refund my money or change the dates for my trips because of there basic economy package. They have 3 different economy packages and the economy basic doesn't get refunds and you can't change the flights if needed. It feels like they are banking on increasing there ROI with this basic economy ticket which is 40 -60 dollars cheaper than the next economy package. Intuitively they know people will pick that, but if something comes up the customer is screwed."

Pros: "I was bumped from my flight, put on a later one which was delayed and I missed my connecting flight which had to be rebooked. I was not notified before arriving at the airport so I waited there for 4 hours. As a result, I missed dinner plans at my destination."

Cons: "Cramped, the only thing they gave us to eat was a cookie (literally ONE cookie. Unless you paid extra - it was a six hour flight, even southwest gives you free crackers and peanuts), the WiFi was ridiculously expensive, they don’t give you a lid for your hot drinks so my tea spilled all over my lap."

There was nothing to watch or even listen to.. tried to pay for direct tv and the credit card reader didn’t work. And we weren’t offered anything to eat . The woman asked if we wanted anything to drink .. never even saw a cart . Although I was in row 7 but with that being said .. I did arrive safely from my trip."

Cons: "- The flight out of IAD was overbooked and left late. - My hand luggage was taken from me with promise of delivery at final destination - Staff in EWR was unhelpful and just short of rude - My luggage did not make the connection at EWR - There was no United staff in PoS to take my report of lost luggage -"

Cons: "Registration and baggage process at Dulles airport for 7 a.m. was chaotic. Unsure if the automated process relieves crowds or time to check-in. Lines were long and not enough attendants to take care of issues that were occurring at kiosks."

Pros: "Uneventful, on time! Knees will never be the same, but small price to pay - or so I'm led to believe by your marketing. Also paid 10 bucks for internet- seems excessive."

Cons: "wi fi on aircraft while using personal device was limited. also Wi-Fi add-on for internet explorer did not work and directions on web site were poor. I attempted to download prior to flight but was unable to locate on united.com even using the search. would be better if the web site had the downloads or a check your computer config prior to flight to avoid pc not working. united app on iPhone worked well."

Cons: "Mechanical delay in fargo caused me to miss my connecting flight to Eugene by 5 minutes. Got to Denver airport asked the gate guy to call my connecting flight to see if they could hold the door for me, he said you got 10 mins go. I run 30 gates and the door just closed. I am 25 weeks preg so my running time is slower then normal. Then they rebooked me on a flight that had an additional connect and arrived 4 hours later then expected. By the time I got to my new flight gate- it was delayed so would miss my next connecting flight. Long story short it's 3 hours past when I was suppose to leave and settled for s flight to PDX tonight getting in at midnight. My friend From eugue is picking me up in Portland tomorrow. It has been an unsuccessful flight. Almost cancelled and wMechanical delay in fargo caused me to miss my connecting flight to Eugene by 5 minutes. Pros: "Gate staff were courteous."
Cons: "I had about an hour layover in which I had time to use the restroom and buy lunch. I did these things, then went to wait at the assigned gate. Meanwhile, unbeknownst to me, they changed the departing gate for my connecting flight. The concourse area is so crowded and noisy, and announcements are only heard in the immediate gate are, that, though I was sitting only one gate over, I did not hear the boarding calls and missed my flight. I sat in Newark airport for six hours (which included a maintenance problem, gate change and 1 more hour delay) until the departure of the next flight to Burlington."

Cons: "Way too much money for the quality of first glass - I should have never upgraded, ancient."

Cons: "No one could get their story straight and actually lied! I was sent a text (I was already at the airport) that the flight would be delayed due to "aircraft maintenance". Not true in the least bit. Then when we finally landed in Denver (nearly every person on that flight missed their connecting flights) we were told the system said the delay was "due to weather". Another lie. Then they announced there would be gate agents to meet us when we got off the plane to assist with connecting flights. First gate agent said "I have no information you have to go to gate 56". The person at gate 56 said "I don't open for another 15 minutes so you have to go to gate 39"! The real story? They made us change gates 5 times in Fargo! The gate attendant was using the "F-bomb"! It wasn't aircraft maintenance or the weather. They couldn't get the walkway to work! In the end, we still left from the original gate and had to walk outside on the tarmac to board the plane. Why didn't they just opt for that to begin with and avoid all the missed flights? My measly voucher isn't nearly enough compensation and if United ever expects me to fly with them again I am expecting a full refund (as other passengers received- I witnessed the manager in Denver authorize a full refund for another passenger but only offered me $50)"

Cons: "I flew round trip to Bangkok from Chicago last year for $460. Why does one way from Fargo N.D. To Green Bay, WI cost $480?! My flight said it was late on the screen (6:40) but actually flew on time. I think a kid missed his flight because of it. My connecting flight in Chicago was way too tight because of a LONG delay waiting to unboard. Had to run, yes run through ORD to get to terminal 2 from 1 within minutes to catch my flight. It was too stressfu and expensive."

Cons: "Delayed, bad service, bad boarding technique, bad cabin crew, and when we landed we spent another 30min taxiing and sitting. My connector flight was delayed two hours and by time I got to San Diego my rental car company was already closed."

Cons: "Honestly, the customer service with United was in need of serious improvement, from the moment we checked our bags to the time we were in flight, we were given very poor service, the man at baggage check in was extremely condescending, acting like we should know everything about United's processing instead of just helping us with our needs in the first place and it added unnecessary extra stress to our travels from Colorado to Hawaii. I don't even want to blame the employees as it was very obvious that they hated their jobs and just wanted the shift to be done with; something needs to be addressed about how they can accommodate both employees and paying customers alike. Let's just say I can't wait until Hawaiian Airlines expands to Denver flights so we never have to deal with United again, as this is the only reason we used this airline."
