After ruining across the entire length of the MSP concourse I arrived at 9:58 only to be told they already left. Worst communication I've ever seen. Delta should be ashamed."

Much time was wasted and I had to reschedule my flight. The staff members that booked my hotel and my new flight were short and brief and not very helpful or accommodating or informative. Overall I didn’t not feel like a welcomed guest and I do not feel enough compensation was offered for such an inconvenience. Not being able to have my bag overnight was a hassle. I had no clean clothes and had to throw out my contacts because I had no solution. I also couldn’t use the meal voucher they gave me because everywhere in the airport was closed by that time. No stipend was given for toiletries or food delivery. Very unimpressed."

She asked me for my seat number (I didn't hear her) and her tone got worse. A woman who did not speak English need assistance and was turned away by this person with s shrug. The Latina finally stood in the middle of the gate area asking for help from anyone who could speak English. I just spent 18 days I Madrid and never once was rejected when I asked for assistance. I was not happy with your employee and I was ashamed to hear an American treat someone that way. In the employee's defense, she was alone at the dest up until boarding time and was juggling a lot of balls without any other support. Not a good experience."

Cons: "Background info: we flew from Dublin to Toronto (Aer Lingus) and we were supposed to fly Toronto to Los Angeles on American Airlines; however, we had a British Airways flight number for both of these flights. We missed our connecting flight in Toronto with American Airlines (we had a 2 hour layover) despite landing on-time (de-boarded a few minutes late). I suggest avoiding the Toronto airport ALWAYS as every passenger must pick up his/her luggage even if you have a connecting flight, and then re-check the baggage with the next flight. Apparently the baggage handlers were on strike and some of the customs agents as well which added to the delays. Well, after going through Canadian customs and picking up our luggage (which took quite awhile) we arrived at the American Airlines ticketing kiosk about 45 minutes before our flight. The computer told us we were too late for this flight and to see a representative. We proceeded to wait in line for an American Airlines representative only to be told this was Aer Lingus' fault (we had just flown with them); even though we had a BA flight number.. After searching for an Aer Lingus representative we were finally told they were probably all on the Aer Lingus flight that was currently about to leave. An Aer Lingus representative was paged to the ticketing counter (took well over 30 minutes for anyone to show up) and what proceeded was an argument (for well over an hour) between British Airways and Aer Lingus representatives about whose responsibility it was to re-book us. After an hour at least of poor customer service, we were finally rebooked by British Airways on the last flight to LAX (on Air Canada). Moral of the story: avoid Toronto and fly direct."

Pros: "Flight crew had a great sense of humor - they were extra friendly while boarding as well, made traveling with AA the best! Boarding was delayed due to previous flight but our pilot even managed to get us to Denver early! Wish I could have this crew everywhere I go!"

(I was told this the next day when I asked) So I actually had to pay for the next flight out tomorrow for no reason just because something happened and American refused to print my ticket still. Also I couldn't self check In either! had I been able to do this I would have made my flight, this airport is small I would have walked thru security in 5mins. Didn't make any sense to me at all. I was highly disappointed with Alaska and American. Alaska made me buy a new ticket and when I asked the American counter they didn't understand why I had to pay, they said I should have just been re booked!"

There was no one from United to talk to at the Hamburg Airport, and multiple Lufthansa agents said they had no control over the United flights, and could not contact them either. We weren’t able to get food at the Munich airport because we had to go through a second passport control just before the gate, and there was no food. The automatic snack machine only took Euro coins and not bills or credit cards. Then the crew was a little snippy and unfriendly. Not a great experience overall."

Cons: "I didn't go on my trip. My course in SF was cancelled and United would n't refund my money or change the dates for my trips because of there basic economy package. They have 3 different economy packages and the economy basic doesn't get refunds and you can't change the flights if needed. It feels like they are banking on increasing there ROI with this basic economy ticket which is 40 -60 dollars cheaper than the next economy package. Intuitively they know people will pick that, but if something comes up the customer is screwed."

I don’t know my way around Houston airport but it seemed like we landed several kilometers from our connecting gate. Probably not something that could be avoided but aggravating nonetheless. Also I pooped on this flight and no one would have known except for the lady sitting in the back made a comment about how long I was in the lavatory (5-7 minutes?). Rude."

Long story short it's 3 hours past when I was suppose to leave and settled for s flight to PDX tonight getting in at midnight. My friend From eugue is picking me up in Portland tomorrow. It has been an unsuccessful flight. Almost cancelled and wMechanical delay in fargo caused me to miss my connecting flight to Eugene by 5 minutes. Got to Denver airport asked the gate guy to call my connecting flight to see if they could hold the door for me, he said you got 10 mins go. I run 30 gates and the door just closed. Cons: "No one could get their story straight and actually lied! I was sent a text (I was already at the airport) that the flight would be delayed due to "aircraft maintenance". Not true in the least bit. Then when we finally landed in Denver (nearly every person on that flight missed their connecting flights) we were told the system said the delay was "due to weather". Another lie. Then they announced there would be gate agents to meet us when we got off the plane to assist with connecting flights. First gate agent said "I have no information you have to go to gate 56". The person at gate 56 said "I don't open for another 15 minutes so you have to go to gate 39"! The real story? They made us change gates 5 times in Fargo! The gate attendant was using the "F-bomb"! It wasn't aircraft maintenance or the weather. They couldn't get the walkway to work! In the end, we still left from the original gate and had to walk outside on the tarmac to board the plane. Why didn't they just opt for that to begin with and avoid all the missed flights? My measly voucher isn't nearly enough compensation and if United ever expects me to fly with them again I am expecting a full refund (as other passengers received- I witnessed the manager in Denver authorize a full refund for another passenger but only offered me $50)"

Cons: "I flew round trip to Bangkok from Chicago last year for $460. Why does one way from Fargo N.D. To Green Bay, WI cost $480?! My flight said it was late on the screen (6:40) but actually flew on time. I think a kid missed his flight because of it. My connecting flight in Chicago was way too tight because of a LONG delay waiting to unboard. Had to run, yes run through ORD to get to terminal 2 from 1 within minutes to catch my flight. It was too stressfu and expensive."

Cons: "There was a malfunction of ventilation system leaving the plane at unsafe temperature on tarmac. Pilot literally screamed at passenger who was inquiring appropriately about allowing us to Deborah the plane."

Pros: "The crew were very pleasant & that was the only saving grace of the journey."
Cons: "Never been in a flight which has been so cramped in terms of space. United needs to upgrade their flights & stop using antiquated airlines. The turbulence for most of the duration of the flight was horrible, while I understand turbulence is beyond the airlines control, I am quite positive a newer airline would have ensured the effect is a lot lower (e.g. A380). The sky was very clear landing into Newark but I the entire journey to touchdown was so turbulent that I almost wanted to throw up, I don't understand the science of flying but I haven't seen an airline wobble so much on a clear day for landing. Overall, I definitely believe United needs to upgrade their airline & until such time, I am going to find a different carrier to fly."

Cons: "PA unreadable, entertainment screen broken, special allergy safe meal lost, luggage didn't transfer to next plane and we actually had to drive back to airport and get it 25 hours later loosing time on our trip,staff apathetic to everything! Will NEVER fly United again!"

Cons: "Where to begin. Was it the confidence-boosting airplane that had to be 'jump started' as we left Denver? Or was it the 2.5 hour late start we got out of Dfw, only to be turned around again on the runway to get more furl, then enduring the 2.5 hour flight from Dfw to Houston (which is a 3.5 hour DRIVE). Was it the missed flight out if Houston, or was it when they told me they could not get us out in Sunday, but that Tuesday morning was looking pretty good. This was a disaster flight."

Pros: "The flight was 15 minutes late arriving in Springfield, and we then were forced to sit on the tarmack for an additional 10-15 minutes because the arrival gates were over were occupied by two, TWO, idle aircraft. The pilot announced that "no ground crew was available to prepare a gate" for us."
