Part of the first class package is luggage. We checked our luggage in easily but our luggage should be one of the first bags off when we land. On both flights this was not the case. The lounge in Kauai is awful. Food and drinks were excellent on the flight. Service was attentive. On the flight over we arrived 45 minutes early. Like last time the same thing happened in a previous flight. The problem both times was waiting in the plane for 30 minutes so that a spot to unload could open.
Flew first class. No headrest screens on either flight and the one flight had no foot rests either.
Great trip. No complaints. Impressed with the crew’s response to various challenges pre-boarding.

Extremely professional crew there are very friendly and first class. Everything worked well on the plane. Food was to be expected. Drinks were very good. Shout out to Charlie in first class who was an excellent flight attendant.
It is a hassle to not have entertainment screens on the backs of the seats.
The seat on the plane out was broken and would not lean back. I have back problems and sitting up straight was hard on my lower back and caused pain for over half the flight. Since I paid extra for First Class so I would not have these issues. This needs to be addressed.
We treated ourselves to first class and were underwhelmed by the experience. No screen for entertainment. Food was not great...only one or two options, small portions, dry. We won't waste our money upgrading again. Good news was we made it to PDX safe and sound. Crew was attentive.
Loved this first class flight! Awesome food, snacks and drinks. Comfortable seat with foot rest. Good movie. Very friendly crew! Only thing I would suggest is having a screen on seat back in front of me so I didn’t have to watch the movie on my phone.
I understand that both Hawaiian and Alaskan are in the process of merging but I could not get real-time flight info or access my boarding pass on either app
First class ticket. They ran out of food and I sat hungry watching the others eat
service overall good. I thought paying for wi-fi in first class was tacky. Food was soggy.
Departure was two hours late! Better than four hours late on our first flight
The flight was supposed to leave at 7:30pm, but departed 10:50pm. They kept moving departure time out every half hour. It was a 45 minute flight from n Sunday night with great weather.
I was unable to get a check im and get a boarding pass. I tried at the desk of the flight operator Alaska, was told to go to Hawaiian and almost had to go back to Alaskan. In the end inwas told to go thru security and directly to the gate without checking in. It would have been more helpful to have the details rather than walking all over the terminals trying to check in.
Thanks to the supervisor Jose my pregnant wife and our family will not miss a very important ultrasound tomorrow. What he did was simply heroic. He needs to be promoted and praised. Please tell him our family appreciates him so so much!
Your crew shortage delayed departure by an hour resulting in us missing an event we had scheduled for that afternoon outside of Fresno.
Crew was great as always. Food not good. Getting people on and off would be much faster if all bags were checked except small ( fit on lap ) carry on. Dogs on planes need to be only real service dogs. It's getting out of hand !!!!!!!!
Super disappointed with the food. For first-class it was very low quality. For the price of the ticket, I was expecting so much more from Hawaiian Airlines.
