Excellent service
We paid a significant premium for first Class tickets, but the coach customers were welcomed into the first class lavatory. We prefer in seat entertainment as we have small children who do not carry their own devices.
the self check kiosk froze at sfo, there was no staff there to assist. when i did flag down a staff member, he was rude. the flight was an hour abd 45 minutes delayed, with no explanation until we boarded. we still had to wait another 25 minutes on the plane, only to be told something vague about maintenance that needed to be signed off on. not a good experience

Cons: "Was in first class front row. I was offered only one drink the entire 6.5 hour flight. The flight attendant in first class never came around and asked if i would like anything else. The potatoes served with the meal were not cooked completely and they let the entire coach section use the forward bathroom so it was like sitting at the very back. Had to wait several times for several others before i could use the first class lavatory. They didn't turn off the cabin lights until very late in the flight so we could sleep. The flight attendant(s) in first class were not friendly. Wifi was horrible and almost not useable. Definitely not worth the $29 I had to pay. I fly this trip regularly and are almost always delighted but this trip was disappointing to say the least."

Cons: "We arrived at the airport 5 minutes (NO more than that) after the one hour check in time to fly international going to Mexico. We were told we had to wait in line to speak with someone to print a boarding pass. There was an extremely long line with only two employees helping. We then asked if we could get our money back being that if someone has specially helped us with our case only being 5 minutes late to check in, but they declined. We had to book an entirely different flight and still have not gotten our money back. It was very stressful and unprofessional and had someone actually helped us, we would’ve arrived at our destination at the proper time we worked so hard for. I know my boyfriend and I weren’t the only people with his problem because two other families ran into the exact same avoidable problem. It felt very unprofessional. It ruined a familys vacation and caused the poor children to cry because of the lack of accommodation. We would love our money back but not sure you guys will even do so. Very disappointing."

If we could not get on the flight then the soonest we could fly out was 48+ hrs away, arriving in Seattle at 2 AM on Monday morning. we had no one available to pick us up, we live 1 hr away from airport. After many announcements and many incentives offered 2 young ladies did give up their seats and we could get on. The flight went well but we were extremely upset with the promise of confirmation and the obvious overbooking. It probably is what many airlines do but not good customer service was given to us. We often fly Alaska but this was a bad experience."

After take off, very little air thru the opened vent. No built in screen as compared to Virgin for movies, music, and a flight map....it's about $10 to rent a tablet to watch things with Alaska. Just before landing they played a commercial advertising their credit card....Oh no, I don't want to listen to commercials on the flight. That will probably cause me to book with another carrier in the future. I HATE COMMERCIALS."

So I give a 4 start for that reason. Entertainment was good if you bring your own tablet or laptop. Some shows are free and some you have to pay for. They also had tablets for rent for $10. Confort, it was a pretty big plane. I had the bad luck to get the seat in front of the emergency exit so I couldn't reclined my sit but it wasn't that bad."

I was too worried to call for an attendant because he was intoxicated but when the attendants would come and offer us food I tried to make it clearly visible that I was anxious and uncomfortable and NOTHING. To make it worse they continued to serve him alcohol!!"

I thought my bag was lost, and I was scared flying to another country by myself, so it would have really helped my trip if they understood to tell me to look on my baggage receipt what city it said on there."

Pros: "The plane got from a to b safely"
Cons: "The food was dreadful. Both the gluten free and regular meals. Tasteless and unimaginative. Very dodgy landing. The time of arrival given by the airline prior to flying did not take into account the fact that the clocks went back. So our pickup was delayed. Not good at 4 am"

Cons: "Flight delayed and missed connection. Ground crew in Rome assured there would be no further delays and connection would be made. Then plane was held on runway for 30 minutes after arriving 1.25 hour late. No complimentary drinks or snacks for a 3 hour flight. Landed 15min before connecting flight departed and was told by crew that a BA representative would be at gate to meet passengers who "missed" connection to LA, but no representative for the LA connection was present (only for other connections) though 20 passengers were on the same LA connection. Approximately 30 other passengers missed other connections. Was told that we would not make transfer to connection in same gate though we still had 10min before departure. At rebooking desk, was told "this happens all the time". Given meal vouchers to use at hotel by London Heathrow. Dinner voucher was valid only at hotel for a single dinner option (chicken, curry, salad, and water only - no juice nor soda, etc.)."

Cons: "One of the worst business class seats - worn and cramped. Boarding was pandemonium Crew was unfriendly"

Cons: "My onboard entertainment system's headphone didnt work. I Was told there is nothing they can do about it, which is fair enough, but i dont think it was fair on me. People kept bumping into my shoulder but i guess there isn't much that can be done about it."

Cons: "I thought the food lacked imagination, was skimpy and too hot. I burned my mouth several times. I really do not like having to pay for a booked seat. I have special needs at my age and so booking early is how I typically make sure I can access the bathrooms easily without climbing over sleeping passengers. I picked flight for the price, but in the end I should have stuck with Delta, KLM and Air France and got the extra miles as with seat bookings and only one bag allowance, what I ended up paying did not make it worth it. Oh well, live and learn. Seats were tight, anyone bigger than me would have really struggled."
Pros: "Entertainment system worked well and had good selection of movies"
Cons: "Armrests didn't go up which is a problem with a toddler needing to sleep. Seat was broken so that pressure would make it lean back. Left over an hour late."
Pros: "British Airways overbooked this flight and made it unclear if I can board my flight. Overbooking is such a greedy behavior and airlines should refrain from engaging in this dubious policy. It is the second time this happens to me with BA."

Cons: "I paid for a different seat USD 77, they charged the amount on my credit card but I never get the seat! I am trying to cancel the charge on my credit card."
Pros: "The boarding process was smooth and the crew was amazing. Not only the pilot kept us informed but also the crew was outstanding, very helpful and hardworking."
Cons: "The entertainment system failed as soon as we departed. They reset it for the entire plane but it didn't work for some passengers. Fortunately, mine worked well but I would not have survived such a long flight without the entertainment offered, so I can only imagine how painful it was for those affected. I know this, in hindsight, is a silly problem, but when flying it's important to have options, especially for an 11-hour flight. The crew handled it fantastically, by the way."

Pros: "I guess that a 3-hour delay on departure turned into only a 2 1/2 hour delay on arrival."
Cons: "The boarding process was everyone for themselves. No priority boarding at all - except for handicapped. After that, it was catch as catch can - even if you were first class or business class. The audio selection was the most sparse I've ever seen. Only 5 titles in classical music. Also, the movie "library" had only 5 choices. The flight map was a dated version. On other BA flights, there has been excellent attention to detail in Club World. This one was very poor."
Cons: "Online checkin wasn't working and the flight was oversold... After running through Heathrow after a delayed connection, we were told 5 min before the flight was scheduled to take off that it would be delayed. The coach seats were some of the smallest I've ever experienced (I fly 2x a month on average). The crew broke wheels off both of our roller bags."

Pros: "So glad you do not charge for a blanket like so many airline bed (Norwegian Air for example). Staff on BA tend to be professional and low key eg quiet on long haul evening flights. It allows passengers to sleep."

Cons: "The World Traveller Plus seating is very uncomfortable after about 3 hours. Not enough cushioning in the seat and the foot rest does not elevate high enough to make it useable."

Pros: "Everything was okay, but before boarding the British Airways crew pulled us aside and told us that they cannot allow two carry on bags ( one carry on suitcase and one laptop backpack). That's insane. We had to wait forever to get the bags checked in and make it back to the gate. We didn't feel like valued customers and never going to fly British Airways again."

Pros: "Although they left late , they made up for it and arrived only 5 min late. Although a huge plane, the boarding process worked out fine. Service was good and entertainment was excellent"

The two flight attendants in this flight were quite good, Lindsey and Mike. They did a great job being proactive and engaged appropriately.
Everything went very well. The crew and flight attendants were awesome. A 1hour and 20 minute flight. Enjoyed it, one step closer to home! 😃
Pros: "Crew were lovely, let me sit in the cockpit. Drinks/snacks were rapidly distributed to facilitate sleep during the redeye, legroom in my extra legroom seat was sufficient, and bathrooms were large. Also, we left swiftly and arrived on time."

It was very inconvenient for all passengers since there was not a good area to fiill out the forms and it slowed everyone down. First time I can ever recall the airlines not having the forms available before we landed"

Cons: "Flight was delayed by almost an hour Because all flights were delayed, the waiting area was crowded. Therefore, I sat in the "priority" boarding area. A representative came in and rudely ejected us from the area. I could understand if there were "priority" passengers who needed a seat, but nobody needed those seats. Customer service should have trumped their rules in this instance."
Cons: "The weather was bad in Dallas preventing our landing. Our plane had to be diverted to be refueled which caused us to miss our connecting flight. There was no one at the counter to help us, but one of the crew told us to call the 800 number which told us our connecting flight was in the air. When we finally found someone to help us, they rescheduled us for the next flight out 11 hours later. When we asked about accommodations, we were told there would be none since it was weather related. Then we were told we could "look for a cot", but she didn't know where any cots were."
