Cons: Missed this flight by a few minutes because the previous JetBlue flight was delayed by about 30 or 40 minutes. It would have been better if the connecting flight could have waited a few minutes, then about 8 or 10 of us wouldn’t have had to have been rerouted and spend nights at the airport.
Cons: Ground crew were antagonistic and need sensitivity training. After the year we’ve been through they need to “ just be kind”. They were unpleasant and onboard crew not much better and demanding with passengers when people tried to stow their luggage. As a teacher of young students we’ve all focused on empathy and Jet Blue could do the same with their passengers.

Pros: Only my 2nd time on Jet Blue and this time it was that only two seats per row flights. The boarding process was smooth. I checked in online and had my pass on my phone. The seats were comfy enough & wifi was free along with tv. The flight itself was smooth and the flight crew address any possible issues beforehand. The crew was on-point with the routine but they had really great customer service. I usually don't think of JetBlue when looking to book but they are really winning my business. Great job overall.

Cons: The pilot was late arriving so we had to wait for him to show up then because we were late our flight got delayed again because of a lightning storm near the airport. Other planes who were scheduled to leave after us got to leave earlier than us so I don't know what happened there. After I was finally on the plane my headphone jack would not work. I know it's not my headphones because I had just used it before boarding for both my Nintendo and computer. Also, the buttons for the TV are on the armrest and if you try to get comfortable you'll change the channel. When the flight attendant came around she just propped a bunch of stuff in front of us and since it was dark I had no idea what I was looking at, ended up getting a very crappy bag of chips. Overall was a terrible experience flying JetBlue.

When I asked the person at the desk what gate I was to board at, he looked up the information as if I was asking him for the access code Chase's bank vault. He didn't even write it down even thought he had a pen in his hand. Apparently, at customers, we are not suppose to get this information and it's a burden on the employees to give it. Again the flight was late and while I know it was due to weather, we were seated in the plane and sat at the gate for more than an hour. Apparently, we were not cleared to be given an update. Pros: Onky 1 flight attendant did a wonderful job seeing to everyone's safety & needs in a courteous way with a beautiful smile. Plane was delayed due to weather & she handed out water as we sat in the plane waiting for the storm to pass. When finally off the ground she managed to serve drinks to all & pass out an assortment of goodies from which we could choose. Southwest simply gave out pretzels on one trip & peanuts on another. Thanks for the selection Jet Blue! She did all this single handedly during a pretty quick flight.
Cons: The terminal had very limited area for device recharging at a charging car so we had to stand if we wanted to use our devices while charging. And there were not enough plugs / ports for all who needed to recharge. The overhead storage was pretty tight too, I really had to turn & shove my small-ish luggage into place.

Hard armrests, weirdly shaped bucket seats which are appalling in any other position than straight up with 90 degree waist bend. Thats not how humans sit for extended periods of time. A 5 degree recline is not a recline; its a joke. At least the tray table was bigger than my phablet, unlike Spirit where the napkins look like tablecloths on these ‘tables’. Overall, it is better than the cheapest airlines.

Cons: One of the main reasons why I chose Jetblue its because it is an ALMOST 4-5 star experience with great affordable ticket prices. Unfortunaltelly the ALMOST it is so, due such an important role such a host/hostess at the airport representing so poorly the company, EVERY TIME I leave from fortlauderdale airport. Once the check-in kiosk fails to complete to check you in (and I am ok with machines poor work) you are directed to a crew members in the counters. A host/hostess from jetblue standing in front of the counters, instead of greet you properly or showing some sort of degree of willingness to welcome you or help you tell you "yes, what do you need... ? That never fails! It feels like you are breaking in into a zone you are not suppose to be, and annoyingly you are disturbing these people. It so confusing why they have those attitudes, specially at that position, where you really need to clear up the bad weed in choosing your personnel. I think these few"crew members" can make a smooth transition to nightclub bouncers, where I'm sure will be a great fit.
Cons: Every segment of my roundtrip flight was delayed or late, including the last leg of my flight delayed multiple times. I could not check in for my last segment on-line via my phone. The message I was given during check in process said in red letters, that I needed to speak to an agent at the counter. I was on a tropical island, i couldn't just run down to the airport. I tried calling customer service, but wasn't able to connect due to bad cell service. My connections were tight and because I couldn't checkin the prior day, I was not allowed to get a seat on my original flight. I was rescheduled on to new flights and those were delayed. I sat in Ft Lauderdale for 6+ hours. Once on the plane, I was assigned a seat that doesn't recline. What was originally supposed to be a 5 hour travel day turned into a 15+ hour travel day. There were no weather issues that day, just JetBlue being terrible.

Pros: Overall this is an excellent flight. JetBlue has more leg room than all the other airlines I've flown. Free snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. A lot of entertainment options and Wi-Fi. Bring your own headphones if you want to save a few bucks. We boarded on time.

Cons: I arrived at Fort Lauderdale Airport 55 minutes before my scheduled flight and was told that the flight was closed because I was not there at least an hour before the flight. On my boarding pass it listed the boarding time and the time the gate would close BUT no where did it stipulate the last time to check in. I do think in this situation, they could have accommodated me and perhaps gate checked my luggage...but that was not offered. I had checked in online, had my boarding pass but clearly did not allot enough time to get to the airport. Traffic, post Hurricane Irma is still unpredictable, but think there could have been a bit of "wiggle room" in the rule. JetBlue did book me on the next flight (the next day), but I was saddened to miss a day of holiday meeting my son in Cartagena.

We were on a connecting flight so it was no chance of making the second leg of our flight. I used an AA discount to get a room in Charlotte but we didn’t get to the airport until almost 2am so I had called to cancel that hour before making it to Charlotte but was told I may still be charged for the room even tho at this point it was outta my control. It would be great if the airline took care of giving you shelter when you are stuck in limbo with no reason behind while you are stuck. American is a good airline but they seriously dropped the ball this trip.

I was rebooked for a flight to smile Palm Springs the next day which I did not except. Then I was booked to leave Dallas to Los Angeles that flight was delayed also. To make matters worse my bags ended up in LA when they were supposed to be route it all the way to Palm Springs. I still don’t have my bags yet. Called three times and the representatives cannot reassure me of my bags on the way.

Cons: When preparing to board, the two clerks at the gate were very rude. I had a carry-on suitcase, a laptop bag, and a small camera bag. They wouldn't let me board, claiming that my camera bag was a third item that I couldn't have. They then tried to force me to check the suitcase which i explained that I did not want to do, before giving me the chance to place the camera bag in the suitcase (which it fit just fine). They were not understanding or friendly and really made me question my decision of flying with American Airlines.

I'll look around at other airlines before I fly United again. Jet Blue, on the other hand (from ORD to FLL) was great!!

We paid extra for extra leg room and exit seats, though what was left was given away free, which felt a bit unfair for those who paid in advance extra? Most traumatic was on the return trip, at the gate as we were removed from our prepaid seats, due to the fact that the ground crew checking us in asked us abruptly weather we could assist in the case of emergency, I replied, "Yes", but my partner was confused and did not understood the question nor the context as to what or why she was being asked! As I tried to explained that she was German and that the question had confused her and didn't primped reply, the crew stope us from boarding the flight, and demanded that our seats be changed for someone who could understand English! We explained that we both understood and spoke English perfectly well... But no one was going to reason with us and quickly removed us from our seats and had us put into the back sectioned which was without extralegal room and proceeded to give our seat out to another couple who volunteered... Without charging extra... It was appalling their behavior and unreasonable gestures towards their customers and at that a Gold member of the Alliance. We will no longer book flights with United no matter what comes, even if we have to fly around the world to get there pay triple etc. It felt a hint of racism and with the state of things, I do hope others take heed in consideration of flying with this airline. Thank you

Cons: from COS to FLL: first flight was late taking off. connecting flight was on time. this is a bad combination. i was literally seconds from missing my connecting flight, and that was after sprinting from one terminal to another. captain on the first flight announced that takeoff was delayed because they were waiting for flight charts to finish downloading. really? WELL THEN GET THERE 20 MINUTES EARLIER AND BE PREPARED TO LEAVE *ON TIME* SO THAT PASSENGERS DON'T MISS (OR NEARLY MISS) THEIR CONNECTIONS!!!

Cons: There was a delayed flight due to the crew not being at the airport when it was time to take off. The delayed flight from FLL to IAH caused me to miss my connection and then lost a day of travel because the following flights going out to LAX that evening were overbooked. I was very disappointed with United. They should know ahead of time if the crew is not going to make the flight and cause a huge delay for everyone traveling.

Cons: Check in kiosk was a fiasco. After completing the process, the machine spit out a receipt indicating I require an agent for assistance. While in a long line waiting for Agent assistance, one of my party tried the kiosk again out of desperation. This time it worked. When asking a representative why work the machine worked the second time around, the representative said that “sometimes the machines don’t work, no real reason.” Frustration for no reason. Secondly, of the two bags our party checked, one of them did not make it to our intended destination. The Asheville airport, our destination, does not have a system to check the progress or location of checked luggage. Completely inept system and service.
Cons: First time ever taking spirit airlines and will never take again. We purposely picked this flight at the time due to it's cheaper price compared to other flights. Turns out it ended up being just as much, if not, MORE because when it was time to check in you had to pay extra. It was an extra $45 a person for each carry on. AND you had to pay $18 extra each person each way for the ability to pick seats (to guarantee we sit together). This would have all been fine had the trip been a comfortable one, but there was no plus side to taking this flight over a different airline. There were no TVs, no way to charge a phone, no shared movie where you could even attach headphones and listen. No just stare at each other, talk, or sleep was it. Never. Again.
Pros: Flying from Fort Lauderdale to DC, our boarding gate was switched without adequate notification. While up headed to the bathroom I noticed the flight information changed. When I asked the gate “Spirit” gate attendant, who was there the entire time, she told me the gate changed. I went to the new gate where the incoming flight was already deboarding the plane. 10 minutes later other passengers from my flight began to arrive complaining about sharing electronic notifications because the attendant made no attempt to let passengers know the gates had changed. She did publicize other gate changed a while I was at the original gate, but never announced my flight’s gate change. Claiming bags in DC was also an unorganized event. I understand the no frills concept but I can’t recommend Spirit to anyone I wish to remain friends with, no matter how cheap the tickets are.

Cons: Flight was late by an hour. This then caused us to have to wait over 2 hours on the plane to be able to get off. US customs was backed up with flights that should have arrived after us. This caused us to miss our connection. The connection time for us was 3 hours and we still missed that flight. They then suggested that it was not their fault and that they would get us on the next flight on the next day at night. We decided to get our money back and bought a ticket with Southwest Airlines instead. They lack in taking responsibility for their mistakes. Their employees don't care and continue on as if nothing is wrong. Our whole flight missed each and every connection. we are all here with Southwest ready to fly out in a couple of hours.
Cons: As we were landing the pilots seemed to have lost control of the plane. People were screaming. I've flown all over the world on a lot of different airlines, and this was by far the worst. The aircraft was so small and packed it felt claustrophobic! Not worth the small difference in price.

Pros: The customer service was incredible. I knew what I was getting in to regarding no entertainment, smallish seats, etc. but I did not find the seats uncomfortable and brought my own entertainment. I will travel with Spirit again.
Cons: Cancelled flight with prior notice at all. Only one person to help everyone on the flight figure out their travel plans - waited in line 1.5 hours just to speak to someone. Had to take a connecting flight to Boston and ended up in my destination 6 hours later than planned. On my way back from Fort Lauderdale, almost every Spirit flight in the entire airport was delayed. My flight boarded on time, but when we were ready to take off, the captain came on the loud speaker and said that we need to go back to the gate because 3 flight attendants need to get off of the plane. First and last time ever flying with Spirit.
Cons: I was a bit late getting to Newark, but I only had a carry-on, so needed to grab my boarding pass and just get through security. When I finally found the Spirit Airlines counter in the basement, their electronic kiosk wouldn't work. There was a huge line, so the Spirit employees ignored me. I could not get my boarding pass, even though I would have had time to get through security and run to my gate!!! I had to buy a separate flight on United so I could make it to this wedding. Any refund would be appreciated! Spirit Airlines is horrible!!!
Cons: My fiancé and I tried to change our Spirit flight from Fort-Lauderdale to Plattsburgh to the next day due to a cancelled connecting flight taking us to Fort-Lauderdale. The Spirit agent we spoke to said there were absolutely no other flight option for us, and did not offer to help. Thus, not only did we not make it back to Plattsburgh and lost our seats and money, but we had to rebook a brand new expensive flight. Needless to say, we are very upset with the lack of customer service we received from Spirit.
Pros: The crew were friendly.
Cons: The airline emailed customers that the flight was delayed by almost two hours. We arrived 1 hour 45 min before the new departure. The website still said the delayed time. When we were trying to check in the service desk told us the plane was being boarded and the delay was no longer needed. We had to take later flight and the girl joked that "at least we weren't as bad as united airlines because they dragged someone off." Terrible experience. There is definitely a reason it's a budget airline. Will never fly with them as long as I live.
Cons: I bought this ticket directly from spirit. They scheduled my connection such that it would have been impossible to make. Apparently this was an "unforeseeable circumstance", so I was offered no accommodations even though there were no alternate flights available until two days later. The agent I spoke with changed his story about what could be done every time we spoke, and when I requested a refund, he was unable to print a receipt or any kind of confirmation paperwork or email whatsoever to prove to me that my ticket had been refunded. He was also unable to tell me the amount of the refund. I simply had to take his word for it that Spirit would process my refund for an unknown amount within 5 business days. Needless to say, i have doubts. This was absolutely unacceptable. I was forced to pay for an alternate flight on a different airline, and pay for an airport hotel for the night. I am beyond furious with spirit airlines and I have received unimaginably terrible customer service.
Cons: The price of the flight was relatively inexpensive, however, after paying for a second carry on, checked bag and overweight checked bag (40 lbs not 50 lbs), this flight was WAY more expensive than other carriers with the same luggage. The bag fees were never explained during the booking process. The flight was delayed almost 2 hours due to other Spirit delays to Ft. Lauderdale, thus, instead of paying hotels and rebooking Spirit customers, Spirit decided to wait until every passenger boarded -- not caring that customers were missing connections in Denver. The ticket agent in Ft. Lauderdale was a right miserable so and so. I'll never use Spirit again.

Cons: The check in process was horrific. Their website was not working so I was forced to spend more to print my boarding pass at the airport. I had no idea Spirit was going to be so uncomfortable. I really think a disclaimer in large print should be available prior to booking with them. Something like Attention: the flight you are about to book comes with very small, unpadded seats crammed closer together than most airplanes. You will be physically touching every person you sit next to. Even if you are a skinny person. The seats do not recline there is no Wi-Fi or on board entertainment. You will be nickel and dime to death so that in the end you won't actually be saving as much money as you tjought.
Cons: It was a terrible experience!!! Stinky way to end a vacation!! From the moment we entered the terminal, SPIRIT handled everything poorly. They had 5 agents working to handle 5-6hundred passengers. There was only one agent walking the floor answering questions. He was nice enough to me but in his frustration, he was very rude to other passengers. People were getting nervous that their planes were boarding and they still hadn't checked their bags. This caused people to try and cut in front of other people in line and of course those passengers became angry. After finally getting through that mess, we got to our gate in a different terminal (which was also confusing because our boarding pass said terminal 3 which we went to first only to find out that we needed to go to Terminal 4 to check in and then walk over to terminal 3 to board). Once we boarded the plane they told us that the computer system was down so they could not put in their flight planes so they let us off the plane. We re-boarded the plane and finally landed home around 2:00 in the morning. By the time we got our luggage and drove home (20 minutes) it was 3:15. Overall Stinky!!!!!
Cons: My jofirst experience with Spirit will be my last. I was flying out to be the best man at my friends wedding on a Thursday evening when due to a mechanical issue we had to get off of the plane. My flight was from PHX to Dallas then continuing on to Fort Lauderdale. Since we had a two hour delay at PHX, they scheduled another plane to leave Dallas on time to Fort Lauderdale. They informed us that since they do not have any partner airlines they could not get us reassigned. We would either have to take a refund or we could go to Dallas and then wait until 5pm on Saturday to make it to Fort Lauderdale. I also had a seat upgrade, and they told me If I wanted to go to Dallas and wait, they would not have an upgraded seat available for me and they would not be able to refund me the upgraded price even though they would not be able to provide me the service. So I got a refund and went home. Needless to say I will pay extra next time to fly a reliable carrier. Thank you Spirit Airlines for making me miss my best friends wedding.
Cons: I know for a fact that I will never take a spirit flight again in my life and neither should you. I was supposed to leave Fort Lauderdale on Saturday at 11:30am. The flight kept being delayed until 6:30pm when passengers were finally told that it was cancelled. The runaround that Spirit gave us was absolutely ridiculous - literally. Due to the plane still being in Fort Myers and not being at the original gate they made us change to 3 different gates -E2, E7, G10- various locations within the airport. I am talking about one side of the airport to another. Finally, at the last gate 10, the plane arrives at 1pm but there was mechanical difficulties that had to be repaired. We boarded the plane at 3pm once the plane was fixed. We sat on the plane for 45 minutes before a Rep came on the plane to ask for 4 volunteers to give up their seats. Four people leave and another group of four people board. Captain tells us that they are searching for luggage and once that's finished we will leave. An hour later, still seated in the plane the Captain apologizes and says that he will let us leave the plane to stretch our legs because Laguardia has not cleared the plane for take off. At this point it is close to 5pm. We wait another hour and half of Reps saying they don't have info because apparently now there is a weather concern in NY that is causing the delay. I immediately call my husband to ask about the weather and he tells me it was sunny, 60 degrees, and it rained for 20 minutes. I get a feeling that Spirit is about to cancel this flight and even ask the Reps- they all say no the flights not being cancelled. After another hour and half wait they make the grand announcement that the flight is cancelled. If you thought that was the worst part of my day, think again. After chaos breaks out from the passengers we are told to find customer service at gate H5. Another trek trough the airport we reach customer service who is a lone Rep with a line wrapped around the corner. After waiting another hour to speak to her, she tells me the earliest flight Spirit could put me on is Tuesday night (remember it's Saturday night). I ask if there is a way to get on to other airlines and she tells me that it isn't spirits policy to find me any flight home. They could only reimburse me and I would have to book my own flight home. I leave the line and start searching for flights and it becomes clear that flights are booked going to NY. I eventually book a flight for the next day on United that leaves out of Miami airport, connects in Chicago and lands in Newark. I took this flight that was 3 times the cost of the Spirit flight, with connections, an hour and half drive from my house just so I could end the Spirit nightmare. Moral of the Story: For your sanity, to be treated professionally with consideration to your time, take any airline other than Spirit.
Pros: The flight to Fort Lauderdale was outstanding in all respects, including carrying on our bags.
Cons: The Spirit check-in for the flight back (2/27/17#616) was degrading, confused, and expensive: the worst ever in a long experience flying worldwide and our last with Spirit. After making them aware of a hip transplant, we were directed to the wrong location eliciting an rude expletive; redirected, we were told our carry-on was too big and charged $50. to check it. I had carried it on at Logan and with Delta 2/8 and 2/10) and many other airlines before. On board people all around us carried on bags similar in size to our checked bag.

Cons: seemingly all the rows of seating are too short. i'm only 5-11 tall and my knees were constantly against the seat in front of me. i sat in the middle seat on row 22. the lade next to me sat on the isle and even her knees were hitting and was uncomfortable. at one point the person in front of her leaned his seat back and it was all completely in her space, make her extremely uncomfortable. we had to ask flight attendant to ask the man to put his seat up some to give her some more room and comfort.
Pros: On the opposite side of the helpful/friendly spectrum -there was one employee who heard my story and offered to let me use one of his free flights if I was charged for some reason. He waited while I went through the ticketing process again. That was VERY generous. I wish I had taken his name down.
Cons: Did not receive a notification that my gate had changed to an entirely different terminal and I missed my flight. There was no way to even know/find where my new gate was located. They only had one Spirit employee at the gate that was on my ticket and she was busy checking the people in for another flight. Ladies at the correct gate were not friendly or helpful. Paid $200 to stay overnight in a hotel and I missed a day of work. The check-in/ticketing area for Spirit was a madhouse.
Pros: Safe transportation at a great price.
Cons: The Spirit web site was not functioning properly when I tried to check-in for my flight and get boarding passes. I tried repeatedly to do this in the 24 hours prior to departure without success (and wasting a lot of time). Then later, while waiting in the long line at the airport to check my bags, the employees at the counter announced that their computers just went down. For 30 minutes increasingly agitated customers waited for the computers to function again so they could check their bags. This computer failure resulted in a late departure. For my return trip, again, IT competency at Spirit. Again their *&(^!&@! web site wouldn't work get me to the page to print my boarding pass.
Pros: Spirit claims to be the cheapest airline, but charges over $50 for carry on items. The day of my flight, the lines to check in were out the door at the Ft. Lauderdale Airport. The kiosks were all down & the employees were shouting at everyone to direct them. If a simple question was asked, the Spirit employees would snap & move on to the next person, without really helping. I was late to my flight because of wrong information that was given to me and I almost did not make it in time. Just like any other airline these days, no food is given for free. The seats are the bare minimum.
Cons: Planes were dirty and were charged for carry on which I found to be a bit ridiculous. The money you save on the ticket ended up going to pay towards luggage so it would have been better going through a nicer airline. Planes really had nothing to offer as far as comfort. On the way home the plane had a 2 hour delay and no real customer service was given to a accommodate for the inconvincoence. Also had an issue with the luggage keeping us in the airport way longer than needed. Would not fly with spirit again

Cons: Staff was okay. Airline charges $65-100 for a CARRY ON. Most ridiculous price I have ever heard off. I had a backpack as I was pre-warn by an employee before I left for the airport. One poor lady had a purse and her laptop bag and they told her they would have to charge her 65 dollars. You will be chargered to print out your boarding pass and will only allow you to check in online and print boarding pass if you sign up for their site and promotions. This airline makes it blantanly obvious they are all about the profit.
Cons: Flight was over 3 hours late. Spirit didn't even alert me. Once finally on the plane, crew was extremely rude. The lady next to me asked one of the flight attendants mid-flight, "Will we be there by 8?". The attendant rolled her eyes, scoffed, and replied, "You wish!" What an unnecessarily snarky comment. Seats were extremely small and uncomfortable (I'm very small - only 5'4, I can't imagine if you were a tall person). No free food or beverages are offered (not even water). They nickel and dime you for EVERYTHING. No in flight entertainment. I've flown Spirit before, but this experience trumped them all. I will NEVER fly Spirit again.

The customer service representative had over 60 people lined up against the wall, not allowing them to "check in" because of minor delay. They were then hand picking who they would let in line, based on their flight and boarding pass. In addition to this I didn't want to spend my day at the airport so I booked another flight home. THEN to realize HE made a mistake..... That was the flight delayed! I then had to ask for a refund and explain that he mixed up my flight. Had 40 min to make it through security at that point. It's been 3 weeks and still no refund. Never again!

Cons: Unannounced gate change at the last minute. Almost missed plane because the change affected the terminal. It never displayed on the board. We had gone through security and had to exit the airport to get to the switched terminal which was far (10 walk) and had to get through new security check. After going through the full body scanner, a TSA agent patted my hair with her dirty gloves. Nobody should have their hair patted down after going through a full body scanner. This is a violation of my person, of my privacy. Also noted that only coloured women had their hair patted down. We should never be treated like animals or differently than other travelers.
