Cons: They tend to be very sensationalist with the people sitting on the exit road. It would be nice to have some food for the people that are vegetarian, something; just don’t ignore them and continue walking. This happened in both flights. Not even chips. Nothing.

Cons: Copa check in is now at Terminal 3, but boarding is from Tom Bradley Inter'l Terminal. We did not see a regular "high placed" sign for Copa which caused us to make two circuits until we saw the street side sigm which is in a nondescript area and easy to miss. My entertainment touch screen was not responsive and sticky. It froze twice. However after bringing it to the attention of the crew, they did make the effort of resetting it. In this regard I highly commend the very tall FA who was a credit to his profession. It still had problems but did work somewhat. I will add that in all my prior experiences in which this problem occurs the FA's are too busy, or forget to reset the entertainment system, so I happy that he did. The interior did not seemed to be very clean there were food stains on the pull out tray and no in flight magazine in my seat pocket. the cabin crew was nice, youngish but did not have enough personality to tell off passengers doing things that they shouldn't out of common courtesy like the passenger seated next to me playing Chinese language videos out loud on his i phone. The same group spent a lot of time burping and then spending an inordinate length of time picking their teeth with wooden toothpicks which did not make for a pleasant scene. I almost lost my appetite seeing which what vigor they went at it, what were they expecting to find? They would then spit the residue in the air making me a bit nauseous. The food was dire especially the two melted cheese/beef/chicken sandwiches served near the last third of the trip. The main lunch ravioli meal served earlier was not bad. The bottom line is that the flight was uneventful with nothing to note, but there is definite room for improvement.

Cons: The staff while professional seems very busy and preoccupied. This airline has a small presense in Ft. Lauderdale and didn’t open for check in for several hours after I arrived. The kioks were not operational. My husband was flying in from Tucson on American Airlines and his flight was delayed. He was to join us on our international flight home. I tried to alert the staff well in advance that he would be arriving late but would be there in time to actually get on the flight. The staff was not helpful with this matter at all. They did nothing to accomodate these special circumstances that were beyond our control. Even finding a staff member that was available for me to talk to was a challenge. My husband’s flight arrived at the airport an hour before takeoff but nothing was done to try to get him on our flight home even though I had explained the problem 2 hours before that. As a result, he was not able to travel home with us on Copa and had to buy a ticket home on JetBlue. We will not choose Copa again.

Cons: The boarding process was awful. They would only let 200 or so people sit in a small area meant for 75. The airport security then made us fo through a second screening. They took our drinks away. Afterwards, half tbe people had nowhere to sit. We had to stay in or section, we could not leave to go to the bathroom or go get anything to drink with out being screened again. This process started about 1 hour and 45 minutes before the flight. The technology in the flight was old, we were not able to see where our flight was in it travel path.

On flights from Central America, i.e. Panama to Florida, for instance, Copa allows 2 bags per passenger, whereas other airlines may charge baggage fees for even 1 bag. Things are always changing, but they've had generous baggage policies. We appreciate that.
Cons: Re: Copa in general, if you need to cancel or change, they make you wait 8 weeks to get your refund; so you have to keep checking your credit card statement until you get the refund. A real headache. For some reason, we always have problems with our online check-in on Copa. The Copa check-in personnel are mystified when we tell then that, but nothing changes. We seem destined to have to check in at the counter as online check-in doesn't work for us.

After over 5 hours on the highway I finally arrived to the airport at 2:27 and the Aeromexico counters were empty. A lady from Lufthansa told me the flight had just closed and suggested that I call aeromexico’s phone number. I did that and the gentleman on the phone told me I should go to the check-in counters. I mentioned they were empty and he had no other suggestions. After an hour on the airport and on the phone with no progress I booked a trip with United and traveled home.

Pros: The snack - such as it is - is certainly a step above what I get when I fly the same route on United. Also the entertainment system is much better, and free! Cabin staff are friendly and efficient. The seating is about the same as on every other airline. I was in steerage for the Mexico City - San Jose leg. A lady was seated in my window seat when I boarded, and seemed surprised when I insisted on reclaiming my seat (She had the middle seat). In contrast to Mexico City, the San Jose airport is a model of efficiency. Immigration is rapid, luggage comes out on the carousel in good time, and best of all there is a duty free shop right in the luggage claim area, so it is unnecessary to buy liquor ahead of time.
Cons: Mexico City is a terrible airport to have to pass through. Everyone has to go through Immigration (similar to US airports in that regard) even if just in transit. However, they have few officers there, and almost half of the available booths weren't even manned. The result was chaos, with the immigration hall filled with grouchy travellers, and other travellers stuck in aircraft waiting to disembark. Expect to be stuck in Immigration for a minimum of an hour after landing; maybe plan on 1 1/2 hours just to get through Immigration and Customs. And if you are making a connection, whatever you do don't go through the sliding doors on the other side of Customs - I made that mistake once! I speak Spanish, so the following comments are not coloured by language difficulties ... Security staff are unfriendly. While there is supposed to be free wifi in the departure lounge, I couldn't figure out how to use it. A gate agent told me there wasn't any free wifi, all the time standing beside a sign that said there was. I was also singled out for a spot check of my hand luggage right in the jetway. The unfriendly lady doing that search so disarranged my stuff that I couldn't find my Kindle when I got on the plane, so was without my planned reading material.

I was rebooked for a flight to smile Palm Springs the next day which I did not except. Then I was booked to leave Dallas to Los Angeles that flight was delayed also. To make matters worse my bags ended up in LA when they were supposed to be route it all the way to Palm Springs. I still don’t have my bags yet. Called three times and the representatives cannot reassure me of my bags on the way.

Cons: When preparing to board, the two clerks at the gate were very rude. I had a carry-on suitcase, a laptop bag, and a small camera bag. They wouldn't let me board, claiming that my camera bag was a third item that I couldn't have. They then tried to force me to check the suitcase which i explained that I did not want to do, before giving me the chance to place the camera bag in the suitcase (which it fit just fine). They were not understanding or friendly and really made me question my decision of flying with American Airlines.

Cons: AC was aware of flight delay due to computer system failure which caused missed flight connections for passengers and yet there was only one customer service rep at the counter in the Toronto Pearson airport to provide directions to stranded and confused passengers when AC1621 landed at 12:30pm on March 13 from Fort Lauderdale. After waiting in line at customer service for more than an hour, I was told I was booked for 9am flight the next day. I was with 2 kids, no options were explained about an overnight stay. The rep put me on standby and said they were flights every hour and told me to wait for next flight. Again no further explanations about standby, I was going from one gate to the next for 3 hours and I wasn't called. When I asked the agent, she asked me to wait. Finally a fellow passenger told me to check with agent at the next gate. That agent found out the cs rep put my family on standby but put a Nonexisting flight #202. So I was never called. I didn't pay money to get this kind of poor service. All I wanted was the basics, get me home without confusion. What a shame Air Canada! Our national pride is on the line. It should be named Air Nada cause no cs whatsoever. Bad management is to blame. Train your staff and hire qualified people to handle tech dept. We have no control over weather but tech backup is worth investing to prevent tech system issues.

When we got on the plane, the sun was shining through the window & floating in the air was a mind-boggling amount of dust, feathers, etc.. flying all around... like the air was completely FILLED with them.. you couldn't get a breath of oxygen. This irritated my respiratory system immensely. They also had children helping out the flight attendants which was cute, until the one girl who had just served water to the entire plane broke out into an awful fever. They were putting ice packs on her head, giving her meds, & eventually she had to get carried through the airport. This was 5 minutes after serving water to an entire plane of passengers. I ended up getting extremely sick & missed almost a week of work. Not sure if this was the cause, but it makes sense. I will make sure 100% to never fly air canada rouge again. For $400 a ticket... doesn't make sense to experience this.

Cons: My flight was first delayed, then cancelled, and there wasn't even bad weather at either airport. I still don't know why the flight was cancelled. My alternate flight had to be from a different airport and that flight was also delayed. I went from a non-stop flight to a flight with a layover... a 7 hour layover. Was not fun sleeping at the airport. On top of that, I had paid to select my seat and it wasn't honored on the flight back. Somehow I was unassigned because of the flight change during departure but I was still charged.

Cons: When checking in, the flight attendant randomly checked sizes of carry-on baggage and forced us to pay extra to check a clearly carry on sized bag, which we have used on at least 50 flights previously as a carry on without ever an issue. On the flight, there were countless carry on bags clearly larger than ours which were allowed on the flight. We soon realized there was not enough room for all the carry on baggage and so they randomly chose us to pay extra since baggage would have to be checked anyways. It was unfair, biased, and classless. Shame on you Air Canada.
Pros: The flight from Winnipeg to Toronto was ok. The flight was packed with military personnel and they all had large packs that had to be pushed under the seats but were really difficult to put there. Many of them were late for the flight for some reason so we were delayed leaving by a lot of time. The thing I did like was that the pilot made up most of the time so we did manage to barely make our flight to Ft Lauderdale as they were boarding it. The one from Toronto to Winnipeg was as I expected, a normal, nice Air Canada flight.
Cons: I find that when I travel on the Air Canada Rouge flights I really feel like I am travelling on a third rate air line. Things don't work and you are squeezed in like sardines, Some people were boarding the flight with 2 carry ons plus a personal item. This always causes problems and seems to delay leaving as the crew then needs to either find space for it or need to check it and then deal with the complaints of the traveler.
Pros: The staff was very efficient and friendly. The cabin space seemed very tight compared to our flight to our destination. There was no entertainment as their system was down. It made the three hour flight cramped AND boring. There were no where near enough seats in the waiting room at the boarding area. Many adults sitting on floor with their families and lots of elderly having to stand.
Cons: boarding was very painful , stood in line for over a hour to check suitcase . by time luggage was checked and i went through security the plane was boarding. i found luggage was damaged after i returned home. i then had to spend hours on chat to report damage and get a ref number, i then had to drive back to the airport for someone to see the damage and give me paper work. i now have to drive to thornhill to bring suitcase to see if can get repaired. plus i had to pay for parking at the airport. no satisfied with air canada at all.

Cons: Being crammed into a tiny seat without any outlets or monitors. Being hit with a ton of extra fees for seat selection and baggage. If you dont pay to select your seat and wait 24 hours before the flight to do so you risk losing your spot on that flight, such BS. Im surprised they didnt charge me a seatbelt usage fee.

Pros: Since I got a bike accident the day before I took off, I had difficulty doing simplest things, and, exceptionally, I had a lot of baggage. All employees, especially at boarding at FLL, helped me very kindly. Although I travel a lot, I rarely have used Air Canada for 30 years, since the time a steward dropped hot water on my thigh. From now on, I will use this airline again.
Pros: They weigh every little carry on even little backpacks. My Dad who is 83 had very hard time since he had one pound over. Max weigh you can in your carry on is 22 pound. Extremely money hungry Air Line. I would avoid at any cost.

The ground crew wasn't ready for our flight to park so we were sitting 5 feet from parking waiting for way to long. How can the ground crew not be ready for a plane that is scheduled to be at a terminal.
Pros: The entertainment on the air Canada app had good selection bjt i couldn't vet it to play after selecting tv, I movie, or podcast. There was no in flight movie to choose from either.

Cons: Plane seating is so cramped, very confining. Seems worse all the time. Tall folks suffer! Airline counters not well staffed at Ft. Lauderdale, ridiculous long lines moving extremely slow. Plane full to capacity, not pleasant. They charge for everything and Rouge even worse.

Cons: To start with the boarding was like herding cattle. They could not control the people and people were just lining up all over the place regardless of their zone number. My husband is 6'6" and the leg room on the Air Canada flight was horrible. He had to sit with his legs out and the flight attendant kept asking him to put them in..he could not as they would not fit at all. He ended up standing up most of the 3 hour flight. I will never fly with this airline again.

Cons: #1 Boarding was total mayhem. Why do airlines insist on boarding the plane from front to back? Wouldn't it make sense to start at the back and work your way forward? People are NOT able/aware that they need to get out of the wispy and it creates a bottleneck. If the BACK becomes 'zone 1' and you progress forward, boarding passengers are out of the way and boarding can progress smoothly! Worth a try? #2 cart blocked the aisle for 90% of the flight and it was impossible to get to the bathroom. An elderly gentleman had gotten up before service began, and he was stuck out of his seat for close to 45 minutes as the flight attendants wouldn't back up to let him pass. Perhaps the timing of this could be adjusted in the future.

Cons: Spending 90 minutes going through security and immigration is horrendous. I never experience this when travelling with WestJet. Considering I have not traveled with Air Canada for some time I will not be booking with them again in the near future.

Cons: I volunteered to gate check my instruments (which I NEVER do because it’s not my hobby, it’s my livelihood). When I did, I made very clear that I’ll ONLY do it if it’s handed to me at the gate when I arrive. It CANNOT go into baggage claim because it’s 2 $3000, left handed, vintage Paul McCartney basses packed in one bag. The gentleman assured me that I’d have it handed to me upon arrival. It isn’t designed to go through the rough handling of people I’ve never met or trusted. So I got to Denver and waited at the gate until someone told me, “oh no that’s gonna be down in baggage claim” Needless to say, I’m scared to death and I don’t even know where $6000 worth of instruments of mine, is right now. I wish people would communicate when they promise things.

Two weeks ago I flew on Spirit with the same bag and had no problem with their size allowances which are just a bit more generous than United. I had purchased the bag precisely for this type of flight. An extra 1/2 inch would have saved me the $50.

In which they don't have any. They send me all the way to Newark. So i had to find my way to NY then to CT. The TSA officers that work at this airline are awful. Overall experience was horrible. I would give it zero stars if I can.

Cons: I was in Group 5, and by the time boarding was complete with group 2, there was no more room in the overhead bins for carry on luggage. This meant that Groups 3-5 needed to gate check carry on bags and then pick them up in the Baggage Claim at ORD. This added unnecessary time to the end of my journey. I'll look around at other airlines before I fly United again. Jet Blue, on the other hand (from ORD to FLL) was great!!
Pros: Asked why is there no leg room to even move your legs or drink a glass of water without hitting the person next to you . Response you can upgrade for 50$ be semi cramped. I'm not a big guy 511 180 this was the worst I have ever flown . If you where lucky to fall asleep the attendants would hit you with cart. Not once not twice but 4 times .
Cons: We have been members of Star Alliance for over 20 years with millions of miles in the book, and though I have avoid flying with the US companies of the Alliance, we too United round trip to Miami via Fort Lauderdale, flying down I was surprised that with the short flight the in flight entertainment was not free? We paid extra for extra leg room and exit seats, though what was left was given away free, which felt a bit unfair for those who paid in advance extra? Most traumatic was on the return trip, at the gate as we were removed from our prepaid seats, due to the fact that the ground crew checking us in asked us abruptly weather we could assist in the case of emergency, I replied, "Yes", but my partner was confused and did not understood the question nor the context as to what or why she was being asked! As I tried to explained that she was German and that the question had confused her and didn't primped reply, the crew stope us from boarding the flight, and demanded that our seats be changed for someone who could understand English! We explained that we both understood and spoke English perfectly well... But no one was going to reason with us and quickly removed us from our seats and had us put into the back sectioned which was without extralegal room and proceeded to give our seat out to another couple who volunteered... Without charging extra... It was appalling their behavior and unreasonable gestures towards their customers and at that a Gold member of the Alliance. We will no longer book flights with United no matter what comes, even if we have to fly around the world to get there pay triple etc. It felt a hint of racism and with the state of things, I do hope others take heed in consideration of flying with this airline. Thank you

Cons: from COS to FLL: first flight was late taking off. connecting flight was on time. this is a bad combination. i was literally seconds from missing my connecting flight, and that was after sprinting from one terminal to another. captain on the first flight announced that takeoff was delayed because they were waiting for flight charts to finish downloading. really? WELL THEN GET THERE 20 MINUTES EARLIER AND BE PREPARED TO LEAVE *ON TIME* SO THAT PASSENGERS DON'T MISS (OR NEARLY MISS) THEIR CONNECTIONS!!!
