And although the partner with Azul, they claimed that they could not check us through to our final destination. Coming home, Azul did this for us without issue. Gates E-9 and E-10 at Fort Lauderdale are a disaster waiting to happen. There is inadequate separation between the two gates to allow efficient boarding. When the flight out of E-9 got delayed, they ended up boarding two flight at the same time. Boarding announcements dd not specify flights and it became a huge snafu. The crew did not try to change it - they plowed ahead ignoring the confusion they were causing. On board, the movies did not run smoothly - one was restarted three times. I have tried to book on Jet Blue firt in the past. My last three experiences are making me rethink this."

Jet Blue claimed they could not put me on the next flight because it was full and was on another airline. They put me in a hotel for the remainder of the night , all the next day and the following night. I had paid for a 4 day vacation at a resort in Argentina so my 4 day stay became a 2 day stay because Jet Blue would not purchase a seat from a booked passenger on the next flight as I requested. I will never use this airline again and would strongly advise anyone who wants or needs to be at their destination on time avoid them."

Cons: "One crew member was not so friendly. She had a very serious, almost angry, look on her face that made me hesitant to ask her for water. Even when I did ask for water, she seemed annoyed so I never bothered to ask for a cup of ice. I dont expect service with a smile all the time but she appeared miserable. Maybe that's just her face but I'm used to a more pleasant crew at Jet Blue. However, the lady that greeted us on the plane was nice throughout the whole flight."

Cons: "Night flights should include blankets and pillows. (at no extra cost) Just like a hotel. Traveling with bulky blankets and pillows in order to be able to sleep on a night flight is not always possible. JB provides eyemask and ear plugs, which is ridiculous. I can bring my own eyemask and ear plugs. I even paid extra for upgrade seats! The headrests are not adjustable and the recline is barely noticeable. It was a long 6 hour flight! No entertainment. I have flown other airlines to South America and been able to enjoy full feature recent release films, TV shows and games. Why can't JB figure out how to do that on their international flights? No meals. All other airlines offer meal service on their international flights. I pay as much for JB flights as I have for other airlines going to South America. The value for JB tickets just isn't there. To fly JB, picture yourself getting on board with your own pillows, blankets, entertainment and food. That about sums it up."

Check in person played on her phone and didn’t even look at you when asking what seat was I assigned . Going from Atlanta to Fort Lauderdale the check in person was so rude there where 5 people askI’m her what’s her problem . The crew the flight was excellent but the Atlanta check in desk really dropped the ball 2 times . If I was the manger I would fire the whole staff and If I was above the manager I would fire them as well as I’m. Sure this is not an isolated occasion."

The first leg of the trip, flying from ft Lauderdale to atlanta was ok except for the pilot having to circle around bc he was too close to the airplane in front to land. This made us supposedly late to our connecting flight which by the way was not supposed to leave before 8:10. My husband and I arrived at the gate about 10 minutes before only to be told that the door was locked. Needless to say, we weren't the only ones. When we got up to the desk, the attendant was extremely rude. I was having a conversation with my husband about a dog that had just passed us . She immediately made her way into the conversation asking me what i was saying. I told her I was talking to my husband about the dog and under her breath said : " I'm sure you were." I then told her that i was more than sure about what I was talking about. We get booked on another flight and my seat was the only one without a working monitor. We asked the suitardess to see o If there was anything that could be done They tried to reset it to no avail. Since we didn't say anything else, it was forgotten about. My husband shared his screen with me so that I wasn't totally bored on the flight. Not the way I wanted to start off my birthday but I'm glad that nightmare is over Delta really needs to retrain their employees on customer service bc it leaves a lot to be desired!"

I am POSITIVE that several of those people missed their connecting flights as the flight attendants and crew did not allow for them to leave the plane first. As people seem to be so self-centered anymore, the attendants should have announced that people were not to leave until all passengers with connecting flights had left the plane. Very sad that people can't use common courtesy all by themselves, but as they can't, it should have been enforced by the team on the plane."

Now I am in my seat with both my carry on and personal item stowed below. So was I comfortable ? No. Was I upset and annoyed, on top of being tired? Yes. They need a better system."

Delta has a new policy that these tickets are not allowed to have certain privileges that tickets purchased on their own site have. Unbeknown to us, one of these is the ability to select your seat. On the ride from CVG to FLL we were assigned seats in the back of the plane, but at least we were next to each other. On the way back, we were not assigned a seat at all. We arrived to the airport almost 4 hours before the flight and were still not assigned a seat and were told we would have to speak to the gate agent. Even we when spoke to the gate agent, they still did not have a seat. It was not until we had already started the boarding process that they called us up and told us that we were going to be sitting 5 rows apart, both in a middle seat."

I was rebooked for a flight to smile Palm Springs the next day which I did not except. Then I was booked to leave Dallas to Los Angeles that flight was delayed also. To make matters worse my bags ended up in LA when they were supposed to be route it all the way to Palm Springs. I still don’t have my bags yet. Called three times and the representatives cannot reassure me of my bags on the way."

Not when I checked in 2 hours early for my initial flight from MHT nor when I arrived in Philadelphia to catch this next leg. They made me wait at the gate and then went and checked the plane and came back and said board and take any empty seat! Never again!"

Pros: "Crew was very nice and very competent."
Cons: "I'm trying to wrap my head around the # of flights that are delayed or cancelled, when I fly on Allegiant. Perhaps, I have just had bad luck. The flight was delayed a total of 5 times for a total delay of about 4 hours. The original scheduled flight was for 6:35 pm and we didn't actually leave the ground until almost 10:30. We kept getting pushed back. I am not certain if it was due to weather (in another area) or required flight crew rest, both of which I would understand. There was no reason posted that I saw. I have a 10 yo son who has Autism and should be in bed no later than 10 pm, preferably 9 pm. I appreciate all that Allegiant does for the military, and therefore, will continue to fly on your airline. I will NOT, however, take any more evening flights as most of the ones I've flown on have either been delayed or altogether cancelled. Again, I truly appreciate your recognition of retired and active duty military. 8/10 is a B and can be improved upon with more clarevoyance and keeping on-time flights."

They delay flights regularly but there’s never any additional information...they just send you a text or email saying your flight is delayed, never tell you why, but they want you at the gate at the regular time...so you sit there for hours with No further communication and the gate agents never come to the gate to let you know what’s going on or what to expect because corporate has gotten stingy with regard to compensating folks even when THEY are to blame for the delay. Two trips in a row, two weeks apart, they’ve done the same thing to us. I appreciate the low fares, but I’ve just about decided I’d rather pay more for good customer service because theirs just sucks."

We didn't have extra leg room and I would like a refund for the price I paid to upgrade my seats. It is impossible to get service on the phone, since even the customer service number the flight attentendant gave me, still put me on an unbearable hold time. Please refund my money for the seats that you did not provide me with."

Pros: "My kids and I had great experiences with Allegiant Air, thanks in large part to some excellent flight attendants. This was the first flight for both of my children (5, 7) and they had a blast. On our initial flight from Indianapolis to Ft. Lauderdale the attendants even gave each of them their own set of pin-on wings since it was their first time. The kids loved this!"

However, another problem with the plane developed and we waited for at least an hour more in the incredibly cramped plane. The seats are bearable for a short flight, but they’re hard to endure with multiple delays. The boarding was also disorganized. There were two announcements: one for people who needed extra time to board and another for the final call. Nothing in between."

Cons: "parking my car 2 weeks in Asheville Long term was $96. I should have gone to Charlotte, parked at my friend's house and paid AA the same rate for a nicer seat and cabin leg room. a la carte pricing ran my bill up even with NO checked luggage. Asheville doesn't have a shuttle service for the long-term parking."

Pros: "It got us there and back for a descent price. The flight was fine but the seats are not comfortable and do not recline. I wouldn't suggest Allegiant for anything more than 2 hours and that was even pushing it."
Cons: "We arrived 3.5 hours early and the line was very long. They must have had a system glitch but didn't communicate to anyone in the line as to what was going on. When it did come time to board, they told everyone in the line that was going to Cincinnati that we couldn't check in until 2 hours before the departure time. Apparently there were some other flights that left before us. If they had told us to keep our place in line and to let other people through, that wouldn't have been a problem. But, they didn't. Their own website says you should check baggage at least 2 hours before your flight and no more than 4 hours before. They took it upon themselves to change the rules on people who arrive early. Then, once they no longer had anyone else to check in, they changed their rules again and start checking in people for Cincinnati about 2.5 hours ahead of time. A little communication and brain power from the staff would have gone a long way. After all that mess, the flight was delayed leaving about 15 minutes without any updates from Allegiant either."

Pros: "I fly this airline airline quite a bit because I have family in the mountains of North Carolina. I have never had a problem with them, I fly out of Fort Lauderdale to Asheville, it's a quick one and a half hour flight. The flight crew is always professional and courteous."

Cons: "The flight was over 5 hours late. We were supposed to leave at 6:06 PM and didn't leave until about 11:10 PM. We were supposed to get into Asheville at about 8:00 PM, but finally arrived about 1:00 AM. I fly this route frequently and Allegiant has a terrible problem with on-time flights and communications with passengers waiting for their flights. I am not certain what the problem is, but it is a significant issue with them. Captain was "bubbly" and upbeat without properly managing the passengers' expectations. Bad public relations."

Cons: "45 minute delay my 1st flight and a 2 hour delay on the 2nd. It's become so late so consistently that I don't even bother to arrive early anymore."

Pros: "It's like taking the public bus during rush hour. Organized chaos. But I guess you literally get what you pay for so, yeah. The crew was awesome though. No qualms there."
Cons: "Disorganized boarding. Even the extra room seats are cramped. Bathrooms are a step up from a porta potty. DO NOT SIT NEAR THEM unless you plan on holding your breath the while flight."

Two weeks ago I flew on Spirit with the same bag and had no problem with their size allowances which are just a bit more generous than United. I had purchased the bag precisely for this type of flight. An extra 1/2 inch would have saved me the $50."

Cons: "The flight was delayed. There seats were too close for comfort and the aircraft had an odor. When we finally arrived in Newark, we were sent to the wrong gate by the operations team. After we were moved to the correct gate there were issues connecting the jetway."

Cons: "Itinerary was changed the morning of my trip. I was not informed until arriving to the airport. When i spoke to the flight attendant of my original itineray, he was extremenly rude and shooed me off. The supervisor was slightly more helpful but ended up being just as bad when i informed him of his rude employee. Even the new itinerary put me on a delayed flight. One choice of snack on a 5 hour flight. Overall, not flying with united again."

Cons: "Confusion on boarding. Flight delayed almost 2 hours. Passengers should have been informed by text earlier. I was at airport when the text came in that flight was delayed. However, on the TV news that morning, there were already delays, therefore United knew about the delays LONG before we arrived at the airport."

Pros: "The actual flight from FLL to SFO was uneventful. The pilot was kind enough to point out when we were about to fly over the Grand Canyon which I appreciated."
Cons: "Upon landing at SFO our plane waited on the tarmac for over an hour. Several passengers missed their connecting flights. We were given no good explanation for the wait."

Cons: "Five hours delay due to maintenance, rebooked onto a flight with 4 little kids spread out through 4 different row middle seats. Our bags didn't show. Despite hours to move them to the correct plane, they flew later on the original flight number."

Cons: "Walked in with 45 mins to spare my girlfriend took JetBlue we got there at the same time they put my girlfriend on united put me on a flight a hour later on stand by I didn't know what this meant I don't fly often come to find out the man at the front basically just screwed me they tell me there are no more seats I need to go on a flight that was originally for 5 but delayed to 6 obviously now I am upset I am admittedly easing my voice who wouldn't to speak to a manager a man tells me to come down or he is getting security and I will be removed I say once more I want a manger he gets security THEN GET THIS THAT WAS THE MANAGER LOL who just did not want to help because he is lazy and dosent like his job then when 6 30 finally rolls around the temperature in the plane had to be on 80 at the end of my flight my shorts were soaked in sweat DONOT EVER FLY UNITES EVER"

I would give it zero stars if I can."

Pros: "I flew from Manchester NH to Miami with a layover in Newark. I had 7 people in my group with three of them being children. I did not choose seats before departure date and when we arrived at the airport we found that we were all in separate seats. The attendant noticed this and immediately moved people around to make sure the children were sitting with an adult. It was a small commuter plane so I was very surprised anyone would change seats. Thank you United for a great experience"
