The pilot and the attendants saw that we were banging on the door and yet they just stared at us. The plane wasnt detached from the terminal which is why I didnt understand why they couldnt let me in unless they sold my seat. An attendant finally came out by the name of Chanel (the AD Lead). All she did is rebook me for 2 days later and told me that that flight might get cancelled due to the hurricane. She wasn't even trying at all to help me. She had a rude attitude and told me that she will be back to help me. Yeah right! She came back 3 hours later! I could not stand to even look at this unprofessional employee. I paid extra to fly jetblue as I have been told they have great customer service. Pshhhh.... I myself had to call jetblue and spoke to melinda (customer service supervisor) she was trying everything in her power and it really showed. An attendant came and started checking the next flight out of puerto rico to ft. Lauderdale. Melinda put me on stand by for the flight and ecen spoke directly to the Natalie who was checking guests on the flight. Two seats came available for me and my husband to get back to florida. We then rented a car and drove 4 hours back to tampa. I was just completely disgusted on how Chanel handled the whole situation. I told her that I had medical treatments the next morning in tanpa that I could not miss but yet she did not at all seem to care. As a lead I thought she would at least put me on stand by to go to ft. Lauderdale. That wasnt even an option for Chanel. She was completely worthless and had a stupid look on her face when she saw me get on the plane to fy. Lauderdale. Something she could have helped me with instead of saying she would be right back and left me for 3 hours later with no help. Jetblue, I say this in the kindest of ways, please fire chanel. People like that will only cost you guys more in the future as you will loose so much clientel due to the unprofessional conduct and customer service she gave. Hire more Natalie's and Melindas who help you regardless of the situation and not Chanel who didnt care and was a bother to her to put in the same type of customer service that Melinda and Natalie gave me."

Cons: "Night flights should include blankets and pillows. (at no extra cost) Just like a hotel. Traveling with bulky blankets and pillows in order to be able to sleep on a night flight is not always possible. JB provides eyemask and ear plugs, which is ridiculous. I can bring my own eyemask and ear plugs. I even paid extra for upgrade seats! The headrests are not adjustable and the recline is barely noticeable. It was a long 6 hour flight! No entertainment. I have flown other airlines to South America and been able to enjoy full feature recent release films, TV shows and games. Why can't JB figure out how to do that on their international flights? No meals. All other airlines offer meal service on their international flights. I pay as much for JB flights as I have for other airlines going to South America. The value for JB tickets just isn't there. To fly JB, picture yourself getting on board with your own pillows, blankets, entertainment and food. That about sums it up."

When we reached the actual plane, we boarded in a "scrum" in the rain! NIce job, United!"
Cons: "All passangers had to de-plane due to technical problems with the aircraft. The captain kept us abreast , but updates were sparse. When we de-planed, NO ONE at United's ticket counters offered any information or directions on what we were supposed to do. We were like sheep; just following the crowd, hoping that other passengers knew what they were doing and where they were going! I specifically asked a "customer service" rep to make an announcement so that we would know what was going on...her reply? "didn't they make one before you got off?" Service was horrible!!! When we landed in DC, we missed our connecting flight and again, United representatives were non responsive and very uncaring about the passengers they are suppose to serve. My party and I (along with other passengers) kept being routed to different gates and told to get information from that gate. After the 3rd reroute, I demanded that we all get better treatment and better communication and information about how to connect for our final destination. That response was met with "I can keep you here until tomorrow morning if you don't like it!" This was from a United Supervisor. My party and I were then routed to San Francisco...our destination was Seattle. When we arrived in S.F. I complained about the service received thus far and was given a $14.00 voucher for my "troubles and inconvenience." We were finally routed to and boarded a plane for our final destination of Seattle, arriving after 1:00 AM in the morning, when we were originally scheduled to arrive at 8pm, the evening prior. I understand that technical problems often times occur, but the crew and United's customer service reps could have done a better job of showing compassion and appreciation for our journey's disruption, inconvenience and missed connections. It was the poor attitudes of these individuals in the CUSTOMER SERVICE industry that really surprised and disappointed me. Their attitudes seemed to be pervasive throughout the company and not the attitudes of a select few employees. The flying experience is not what it use to be. I am on travel again in the next two weeks and actively and deliberately looked for flights on ANY airline OTHER than United. Never again will I fly this airline. They obviously did not arrive with the advised amount of time allowance. It wasn't my fault I arrived with plenty of time and I had to deal with the verbal abuse from people having to go ahead. Maybe if they missed their flight, next time they would arrive earlier with enough time. It sure wasn't a very pleasant experience at all."

The lead flight attendant on the my flight was extremely rude and unresponsive. My mother had a wheelchair assist her to the gate for our departing flight in Orlando. This was arranged by the ticket counter. Apparently, Frontier screwed up and did not arrange for a wheelchair to meet us at the gate in Charlotte. When we mentioned this to the lead flight attendant, he said we would need to go and find one ourselves. I asked if he could call the gate and asked them to bring one so I wouldn't have to leave my elderly mother, he said, "no". I asked again and explained that I didn't want to leave my mother. This time he rolled his eyes at me and said, it wasn't his problem. Really? This is precisely the reason I will not take Frontier again. Please look into training your people better or your hiring process. Cheap flight do not address this issue."

I couldn't find other airlines with a straight flight. I also loved how helpful the ticketing personel and boarding employee helped me out and answered some of my concerns. They were super polite and quick to help. They also had a very relaxed/laid back attitude I liked."
Cons: "I understand it's a budget airlines, but I didn't like the fact that you aren't allowed a carry-on item unless you purchase one. Most other airlines would allow one free carry-on and one free personal item. Due to this, I didn't get to pack as much as I needed for my trip. And also, it was not informed that guest had to pay for a carry-on. I was lucky enough to call the hq a day before my flight. It just so happened to be one of my concerning questions. The flight attendants were overall okay, but there were some instances that I felt they were incompetent but also not as thorough. I had trash to throw away and they passed me 3 times before I was able to throw it away. Plus I turned on my assistance light so they would come pick it up, but it took them a good 15/20 minutes to finally check in me and by that time my trash was already picked up. The seats and trays aren't as comfortable as I hoped. And I get it's a budget airlines, but that's also the reason why my flight was less comfortable or entertaining."

At one point, service members started calling out destinations and it became a free for all. Passengers jumped over each other and across the ropes to cut in front. Elderly and children were pushed aside. At the gate, it was announced "in 15 minutes, we will ask passengers needing help to board", followed immediately by another crew member "we are already boarding all passengers!", then right back to the first crew "we are not boarding yet, we will start boarding in 15 minutes". Confusion! Departure was listed on time, but we really left 40 minutes late."

Another great factor of using Frontier is that they keep you up to schedule with your flight by sending you emails from the morning of until your flight departs to insure you don't miss a gate change or flight delays."

I understand we all need to take off ASAP, but they've got to understand if everyone was standing at the gate, there would be no room to stand so we all disperse and know we can check our smartphones for updates."

Cons: "When we arrived, I needed wheelchair assistance. I was picked up on the gangplank, and taken to the gate across from our arrival and LEFT THERE. No offers of help after that. I had a 3 hour layover, and finally Alfonso asked if I needed additional assistance. No one else was I interested in helping me get to food or a restroom. During the course of my layover, I heard over 6 flights have gate changes. Ours also was changed...at the time we should've been boarding. No explanation or apology for inconvenience. And again, I was LEFT THERE with no assistance. I finally flagged someone down to get a wheelchair and take me to the new gate, where I was LEFT AGAIN. I finally got up and walked to a restroom in my own (in great pain). The info for our flight remained on the screen at the old gate, with no mention of a gate change, and the new gate had NO information posted about our flight anywhere...which led to a great deal of confusion, chaos, and angry patrons. The gate change also caused us to board 30 min late. The Spirit employees were hard to find (laughing and hanging out in a closed-off area behind the desk). They were not friendly, helpful, or even understanding about the situation. I asked to be the last one on the plane (needing wheelchair assistance), and was told no, with no kindness or explanation. The flight attendants on this flight were not any better than the ines in the flight before...only w/o the funny commentary. And, another long flight with no entertainment, comfort, or friendly assistance. When we arrived at DFW, there were storms (that would've been avoided if we had left Orlando in time) that kept us in a holding pattern for an hour and a half ON TOP of a two and a half hour flight. The flight attendants used this time as a way to make MORE money for the airline by charging money for any food/drinks during this time...even water. We were on that cramped plane for 5 HOURS and were still having to pay for water. This was one of my WORST airline experiences in over 40 years of flying."
