Cons: Boarding was orderly but it was hard to hear the announcements of the zones. I flew economy and it was like flying in a frozen sardine can. There was absolutely NO leg room. At 5 ft, 2 " if I found it difficult, I cannot even imagine how a taller person felt. I wore a coat, sweater, and scart , and warm socks, and I was still freezing the entire trip. It took me 20 minutes to thaw out after arriving. It was quite uncomfortable.

Cons: I began asking for my wheelchair escort the minute I got off the plane. I was assured in Houston they would be there when I got to Detroit. They were not. The request was clearly spelled out on my boarding pass along with my personal oxygen equipment information. I kept asking different staff and they would call for me then say somebody would be there. I waited for an entire hour and only when I started to cry did somebody do something. It was terribly stressful.

Cons: Delta offers a decent product on most of their fleet but the 717 or MD-88/90 can be extremely loud at the back of the plane. You better bring ear plugs or noise cancelling headphones and learn to read the flight attendants lips.

Cons: Delta is not the only airline to have planes with the new seat configurations in First Class but they are a big disappointment for tall passengers and couples who enjoy traveling together and cannot even carry on a comfortable conversation on a 15-hour flight.

Pros: We stood on the ground due to weather, which had nothing to do with the airline itself. Keeping this from jading my point of view, the airline stood within the standard of what is expected of a good trip. Food was good, and the choice of movies, shows, and games helped the time pass. Staff was friendly, and checked bags were ready rather quickly.

Cons: The Frankfort airport is a nightmare. They have loooooooong gateways, so when I Finally got through security FOR THE THIRD TIME, it’s a 10 minute, speed-walk to the gate. Again, a flight delay was the only thing that made the connection possible. I made it to the gate with 3 minutes to spare, so no time for the bathroom, no time to get lunch or even a bottle of water, no time period. And at the end of it all, my bag is lost.

Cons: Not only was the flight delayed, but there was confusion at the gate for boarding of even first or business class. We had to carry our luggage down 2 flights of stairs to get on a bus, which then transported us a very long ways away on the tarmac. Then it was an older model plane and the engine noise, even though we were up front, was extremely loud! It was somewhat worrisome. The food was terrible and by the end of the 90 minute flight our rears were sore from the poor seat cushioning. Not a good experience at all. All of this was after a terrible experience and delay just trying to connect flights within the German airport and the security delays that probably would have made us lose our flight if it wasn't delayed. There needs to be a better system if you are not staying in Germany but just connecting flights from the same airline!

Cons: This was a united flight. The personal was not helpful, only in helping me communicate with the airport in Rome to change my flight. I had to pay 97 euros for this change. I am upset and think it is not fair that I need to pay for a problem united had with their flight. I also think star Allience failed as they were not able to resolve the problem with their partner airlines.

Cons: My connecting flight to Rome wasn't listed on any monitors, and four people couldn't find Terminal A on the map. Fortunately I found some fellow Americans who also couldn't find Terminal A , lower numbered gates, from our current Z gate. We went to the right, following most disembarked passengers and signs for some A gates....a mess! In the end, we had to go all the way back, past our original gate to a Customs area where they just stamped our passports and onward to our gates. It seemed like the signs only helped if you were going in the correct direction to begin with. Even my German friend said how bad that airport is for directions!

Cons: This return flight was much better than the flight going to Amsterdam. I believe the biggest factor was the type of aircraft. The old 747 just didn't meet expectations. The newer 777 on the way back was much more comfortable, with better amenities.

Cons: At the check in they made me pay 50€ for my luggage. This is really upsetting because from Houston to Venice they didn't make me pay. Either the website wasn't transparent or the lady at the desk made a mistake. Very upsetting, one luggage should be included.

Cons: I have ordered Wheelchair for my parents which one of my parent didn't get it on Mumbai Airport. When they arrived on Amsterdam Netherlands Airport they were dropped to the gate assigned first and once the gate changed on the fly no body came to help them moving to the new gate assigned which was far away to walk. Nobody even came to tell them that the gate has been changed. It was because of my father's alertness they didn't miss the connecting flight and when my father asked help to members on airport none of them helped my parents and other 4 co passengers which also were on wheel chairs. It was so scary experience for them that they asked me not to book any more flights with Jet Airways. I won't recommend Jet Airways to any of my friends for their parents to travel to USA. I strongly recommend you guys to take a strict action against this. This is so unacceptable.

Pros: Efficiency and speed of boarding was acceptable. I have no complaints about that aspect. The Comfort+ seats were worth the upgrade, pretty comfortable and reasonable legroom unless you have a big carry on stowed under the seat in front of you.
Cons: The first announcement they made to all of us in the economy section was thay they did not have any headphones for anyone but business class. I was told when I booked the seat that the headphones would be complementary. So I did not bother to bring any assuming they were going to keep their word; I figure I'd make it work and watch a movie without sound. If that isn't bad enough midway through my nine hour flight my monitor went out and would not turn back on.

Pros: Flight crew on flight from Amsterdam to Cape Town were probably the most friendly and enthusiastic I've experienced and no, they were not all young. The plane was spotless throughout the flight. They were always coming around with water and juice and they genuinely seemed to care about all the passengers. The Flight back crew were just the opposite. More like the old lazy farts you get on the American carriers or BA or QF long haul. Whoo have been there for the long haul and should have stopped ages ago.
Cons: The Entertainment images on the screens promoted Beauty and the Beast, Batman Lego movie but neither were on the system! Food quality was rubbish

Cons: I paid extra for a window seat, but due to the poor alignment of the seats with the actual windows, I actually sat next to a wall! Nol much to see out of a wall. If KLM are going to charge extra for a window seat, then they should make sure there is a window there! If the seat had actually had a window it would have been an excellent flight.

We were allowed a cabin bag and a small hand-bag in the flight but as we were among the last half of the passengers to board the flight we couldn't find anywhere to keep our luggage and the crew had to take them away from us to store them somewhere at the back far away from our seats. As a result we had to wait until all the passengers got off the plane to get back our luggage and we were the last two passengers to get off. Unpleasant!

Cons: The ability to control air flow was available on every other row. We were unlucky to be in an off row and it was very uncomfortable. Fortunately my wife was able to move to the window seat where it was cooler. The athletic team on board made disembarking a bigger challenge than necessary.

Cons: I paid extra for exit row seating, but what they didn't tell me was that the flight attendant seat was facing ours, so much for leg room. The actual placement of the seats were aisle row and middle row-so neither of us had a window to look out of or wall to lean against, no overhead lighting or air vent either. Can you say "rip-off?" My husband, who is tall and broad shoulder was constantly being knocked around by the flight attendants and carts. This flight was miserable. I guess I should be thankful for the hour plus delay in departure.

Pros: In spite of delay caused by luggage to be taken of the aircraft, flight arrived to a Rome on time.captain kept us well informed of the reasons for delay. Boarding was done efficiently with care for people with children and elderly passangers.

Cons: Two hour delay before we could take off. We were in the plane all that time. People were tired and hungry. When we finally got going, we had to pay for food and drinks. The service didn't seem very efficient.

Cons: 1. The bags have been lost. They are located, but not yet delivered. All the kid's stuff, beach, personal things, gifts are still somewhere.. 2. IMHO: in Heathrow the Extra sequrity check point is unreasonable for the travelers from the US to Europe. 3 in the plane the person next to me was constantly coughing , NO MASK, it was flue. When I asked help to change a seat, flight attendant did not help.

Pros: As with every BA flight ive experienced, the crew is charming and witty, fun to talk to.
Cons: Nothing extra - no legroom, no snacks, no drinks. EVERYTHING is an upcharge. The crew spends the whole flight running credit cards for a coke or a pack of cheese.

Pros: Our luggage was delayed over three hours, coming in on a 5:30 flight, then having to wait for it to be delivered to the baggage carousel. It cost us 3.5 hours of time we should have used to explore the area of Rome around our apartment and the cost of dinner in the airport.

Pros: Everything was dealt-with efficiently. Very friendly staff. I didn’t want to have to make that journey but it was as comfortable as it could be.
Cons: Nothing could have been better.

Cons: Was told at gate ALL bags had to go in hold. Once bags labeled and on bus NO ONE else was labeled. Took labels off boarded; plenty of overhead room. Why lie to us? Also asked insurance pay out limit of lost hold bag just in case. They refused to answer telling me I should buy a lock to lock bag in case it gets lost.What is that going to solve. Don’t go flying with BA if you have anything of any value or fragile.

Cons: The only refreshment without charge was tap water. The crew also pulled a curtain across the tops of the seats in front of us to separate economy from priority, and it felt somewhat insulting. Boarding was delayed with no communication from the crew as we all stood at the gate waiting for instructions.

Cons: The online check in didn't work. At the airport at check-in I had to wait 15 min to get a boarding pass and a seat allocated as there weren't any available as the company oversells tickets.. that's what they said to me at check in.. When boarding I was told that I needed to check-in my cabinet bag because of the crowded flight, the lady just put a label on the handle of my trolley and said to leave the bag down on my way to the plane.. Thing which of course didn't do... very bad service.. I'll keep traveling with easyJet and reconsider British airways only for a super cheap flight.

Cons: no entertainment at all more significantly, no beverages at all? Flight attendants came through once with the beverage cart, but only asked the person at the end of our row if he wanted anything. He asked for juice assumed it would be complimentary but it wasn't. They offered to get him a water. The flight attendants did not offer me or the man next to me anything at all. Everyone knows that air travel is dehydrating - I can't believe BA doesn't give provide complimentary water and juice.

Cons: You had to pay for everything and I do mean everything. Even a glass of water. There were no glasses unless you paid for a bottle. If I have a choice I won’t be flying British Airways again.

If you take a hard-line to sympathetic, injured, elite member that s my 91-years-old father. And fail to provide most basic information of local scheduled flights you might just leave oneworld and let up-to-task risen stars add to the alliance (instead of abusing her standing as BA does. Shame on you.

Cons: Flight attendant named IGOR skipped me when serving drinks and food. But then again when he he offered coffee, he again skipped my wife who was beside me. When I asked for coffee for my wife and that then again skipped us, he just responded, sarcastically, "Really?, really?" What a fool!

Cons: We were never offfered a snack! The people in the rows ahead of us got a snack and the people behind us did as well. Last leg of a 3 flight series of about 13 hours (and overnight), so some coffee and a small snack would have been enjoyed.

Cons: Last seat on the right side and it would not recline. I was ready to sleep on the flight but without even the slightest bit of recline in the seat it was not going to happen. No food No entertainment No comfort No sleep

Pros: the seats on this plane were more comfortable and the crew was friendly, even though there were some irate customers.
Cons: We boarded late, sat on the plane for more than 2 hours (it was uncomfortably warm) and were told we then had to switch planes due to a mechanical problem. I understand this happens, but for the inconvenience BA should give some sort of compensation. After the long wait we were starving, but they ran out of all of the food choices. We were scheduled to arrive at 16:30 but ended up arriving after 22:00. this wasted our first night of our vacation in Rome. There was one passenger in particular who was yelling, swearing and causing a scene because of the flight delay. His rude behavior was rewarded with an upgrade to first class. The message this sends to your passsengers is that we should all be loud and obnoxious when problems arise. I was not impressed with my first experience with BA.

Pros: The staff were all very friendly, and even though we did not get seats together at check in, the gate agent managed to find us seats together which made the trip more enjoyable.
Cons: I was disappointed to find that there were absolutely no entertainment or connectivity options on board a 2 1/2 hour flight. It's pretty much standard across carriers now to have at least internet access and a portable device entertainment option. I also did not enjoy paying for even the most basic beverages on the flight. Coffee, tea, and soft drinks should be included. You'll save a pound, but lose a customer.

Pros: Traveling alone, especially in another country, can be daunting but at least there was no language barrier, almost! The aircraft and personnel were fine as expected. Much as expected in a domestic flight in the US.
Cons: Having to pay for a drink of water was unexpected. Not having to deal with cash for purchases saves the hassle for attendants, but the credit card machine did not work, there was no alternative machine to try after I was told "we have been having some issues", and as a result I was unable to have anything. The associate seemed unconcerned and unapologetic and simply walked away. Poor response.

Cons: I'm surprised there were no complimentary beverages. Also, this is not the airline's fault, but the woman sitting next to me was wearing an excessive amount of perfume, which gave me a headache. I think the airline should make recommendations for passengers not to be heavily scented. As a physician, I worry about patients with RADS (reactive airways dysfunction syndrome) who can develop bronchospasm if exposed to individuals wearing lots of perfume, and a plane is an enclosed space.

Cons: Plane left an hour late - due to not enough water! American always has some excuse. On an overnight flight where people like to sleep, the pilot shouldn't be making an announcement one and 1/2 hours before landing, waking everyone up! Movie selection is very old.

Cons: Communicating rules such as not going through the business class to loop around to the other aisle of the coach class is definitely acceptable however the tone in communicating this should never sound condescending and patronizing, esp over the PA. Flight staff shld refine her communication skills.

Cons: The whole flight from Philadelphia to Rome was on American Airlines, not British Air. This was confusing at first and made it difficult to know what airline desk I needed to check into, but once that was clear it all went smoothly. The dinner was mediocre and the breakfast terrible.

Cons: Bathrooms were in rough shape, would have liked to see those serviced in-flight so those of us using the space to do night-time routines like brushing our teeth and washing faces didn't have to deal with someone else's mess.

We sat in front of the lavatory and could not sleep because every time someone used it, the light flashed in our eyes and the flush was quite loud. I paid extra for the seats we had but did not know they were right by noisy bright rest room.

Cons: No advance check in left me waiting in line at my connection in order to get a center seat in the middle of a group. There’s no excuse for manual check in in this day and age.

Cons: A “broken plane?” Are you kidding me? This was the explanation for a 3 hour delay. A European connection should have either rigorous maintenance routine and/or records or there should be planes ready to fill a unexpected need.

Cons: The lack of communication while waiting to board about why plane was delayed even though it was already there. Service was ok, nothing stood out nor was extremely bad.

Cons: Itinerary I received was for British Airways, with whom I have always had excellent experiences. However, I discovered at check-in I would actually be traveling on American Airlines with a different flight no. I had already provided my BA flight numbers to family. No explanation was give to me prior to flight that this would be the case. Food was terrible- even for Coach class - I don't always expect a gourmet meal, but BA was consistently good in the past, so I had positive expectations. My personal entertainment system did not work properly so I could not use it.

Pros: On time boarding. However we had about an hour departure delay due to de-ice of the plane due to ice storm which just started but I am not complaining about that. I would rather the plane was completely safe for departure.
Cons: We have to gate check roller bags due to size of plane. Also, little or no knee room. My knees were pressed into the seat back in front of me.

Cons: The flight I booked was misrepresented. I thought I was booking a BA flight only to find it was American Airlines. This changed the terminal I was to go to and the gate in which our Italian non-english speaking driver was to meet us at. This impacted seating selection, as well. Was forced to buy a premium seat when I realized the seating chart did not appear when I purchased the tickets. Also, flight was three hours late upon arrival. I understand safety is paramount and am grateful we eventually were able to find another plane, but it begs to speculate if things would have been smoother on a BA plane.

Cons: No individual video screens. Also our audio did not work ( true of most of one side of plane) so we could not even watch movie on the TINY overhead screen. Reading lights also did not work. We had no options to pass the time for an eight hour flight. The crew was unconcerned about the problem. They seemed grumpy!! This plane should not be used for long haul flights.

The worst part about this flight was that I traveled with my girlfriend and when I went to check in, 24 hours before, there were only single seats left and there were so many open seats together that were considered “preferred” and had to pay $80 for just one “preferred” seat just so we can sit together on an 8 hour long flight. The seat didn’t even have any extra legroom or anything, it was a normal seat. American Airlines is just trying to squeeze money out of anything they can.

Pros: Crew made the best of a bad situation: originally planned plane with sold-out seats replaced by a smaller one -- BAD! Extra kudos for crew for creative swapping to move me to an emergency row seat when I discovered that my **extra-charge** aisle seat was damaged and unusable. Food & beverage service -- adequate, timely (though some nutrition concerns.) Good, current entertainment selections.
Cons: The obvious -- the switch to a smaller plane, causing some passengers great distress; not realizing that a sold seat was damaged; selling me that damaged seat, and at a premium. Food nutrition -- tasty, but carb-heavy, fatty and salty. Bathrooms -- became rather smelly and unkempt toward last 1/4th of 9+ hour flight.

Even a complete stranger said to me, while waiting for the restroom, "I think that they hate us". One young male attendant was friendly and I believe that he was training. I fear for his training experience with this group of women. One of the lavatories was out of order {....on an international flight! Are you kidding!?!}. I think that they searched for the most antiquated plane that could limp across the ocean for this flight. Nine hours of pure discomfort. My poor 71 year old mother! Zero leg room. Tiny little screen for movies on the ceiling of the middle row. trays were not clean. We paid extra for our seats and wondered how bad the seats were for those that didn't. My mother and I determined that this was ranked as one of the worst flight experiences we have ever had. We are grateful for an amazing experience for our return flight or we would have reconsidered ever flying AA again.

Cons: The seats were incredibly uncomfortable. There was no leg room and 122 of the space below the seat in front of me was taken up by a metal box attached to the seat. I couldn't put both feet under the seat in front of me. The food was bad tasting and overly processed. We were fed a lean cuisine. The entertainment was from mounted tv's in the aisle. At this point, all planes crossing the ocean should have individual tvs for a customer to watch. They had this 15 years ago, how do they not have it now.

Cons: Everything else! We were first sold a British airlines flight, and then we got switched to American Airlines. I don't know if that is actually an okay thing for them to do. When we got onto to plane we were stuck on the runway for over 2 1/2 hours, where the outside temperature was 95 degrees and the AC in the plane didn't work. The delay was all due to a mechanical difficulty with the engine, this did not give us peace of mind when flying over the atlantic. while up in the air my newly wedded wife and I were hoping maybe we could watch a movie to help keep our minds off the creaking of the wings, the pool of sweat from the delay, and the grumpy flight attendants. Seeing as it was a 9 hour international flight, you would have expected some sort of entertainment. Maybe a personal TV.... nope. Maybe a community TV... nope. At least they have to have a radio....... nope. All we got were our two thumbs to twiddle. After a much needed nap. We woke up hoping maybe for a hot breakfast, but to put the cherry on top of some terrible ice cream, we got a mediocre cold breakfast. All in all I will not fly American Airlines again. I would happily and quickly pay double for any other airlines but them. It's such a poor reprisentation of our country.

Cons: First the flight entertainment was terrible for an international flight, no internet because it was a old plane. Some video monitors were terrible color and resolution.

Cons: I booked with British Airways and later noticed the plane was operated for American Airlines. The seats were cramped and the online entertainment was terrible. On an overseas flight, I expect in 2017 that there will be on-screen entertainment on the back of the seat in front of me. Instead, the movie was projected on a screen in the middle seats on an overhead that was about 10 rows away. Plus, you didn't get to pick your movie. You were stuck with the selections provided by the airline. I would have brought along my DVD player or laptop had I know this was going to happen. American flight crews are not as friendly and accommodating as European flight crews, which is why I try not to select an American carrier. Seats are less comfortable on American carriers also.

Pros: When we arrived, we found the plane was changed, and our seats were in the middle, and separated. We had paid extra to have window seats.. After speaking to one of the gate attendant ( Arturo ), he went out of his way to accommodate us, and we ended up with great seats. Friendly and accommodating crew! .

Pros: Nice head rest (although it did not stay bent at angle, so could actually rest against it).
Cons: Think it is ridiculous that I had to pay so much to select a seat ahead of time, and it was just a regular seat. I can understand for extra legroom or exit row, but for a regular seat, that is ridiculous. Then there was a fee to change priority boarding, so I could ensure I was able to have my carry-on with me, instead of risk having it go underneath.

Pros: There were empty seats close to me, so that was great. The food was pretty good and it was nice that the wine was free.
Cons: The screen on the back of the seat in front of me did not work well at all so it was difficult to watch movies. (I had to press multiple times to change the screen from one display to another.)
