For my wife to be seated with our two children they put them in the last row on the plane where the seats don’t recline very much. The seats in front of them reclined fully which is basically in the lap of the last row which made it difficult to eat, move or watch the entertainment provided.
The seats were very nice in premium economy. The service was good. The flight was slightly bumpy. Would have appreciated more updates from the pilots.

Prefer not to have an almost 3 hour delay with useless communication that wasn't accurate.
Over 5 hour delay with minimal updates or ability to standby for alternative flights. During boarding and 1 hr+ wait for takeoff, seats were drenched w water from air conditioning condensation and always leftover crumbs on carpet and seats
I flew from Barcelona to Chicago on UA yesterday. The flight was on time, the pilots did a great job and the flight attendants were super nice. All of them. Also food was good, and the drinks, including wine were served a few times during our flight. I highly recommend this airline.
Boarded early, left early, arrived 40 mins early! A win win for me!
These airplanes should be illegal. The seats are two tight, it is a safety issue. Wheelchair support was ridiculously slow. We almost missed our flight.
This flight is a quick way to get to Chicago, but a bit expensive.
The economy seat was much less comfortable for an international flight in terms of recline and moving space when food tray is expanded. Per entertainment, it would be amazing if I could connect my Bluetooth headset or ear phones to the entertainment screen. Or provide in-flight wifi to connect directly from my own device.
Too tight connection. Lufthansa staff pulled 12 of us out of passport control that had tight connections and took us about 1/3 mile AWAY from our gates and put us in another slow, long line. Needless to say all of us missed our flights and the Customer “Service” staff was rude and not helpful at all. Was rebooked from a direct flight to one w a 6hr layover. Asked about an other option that was on my app and was told to book it myself online (which would be $300 extra pp!!). Got rebooked again w a tight connection which was also missed. Rebooked into middle seats that didn’t recline for 9 hr flight!! No compensation (and we paid for seats!) Ended up taking 26hrs to get home from Europe to North Carolina! No longer a fan of Lufthansa—2nd time having these kind of issues w them!
The food on this flight was better than what we had getting to Rome. The flight was comfortable and the staff was great. One of the staff members was a stickler about the blankets in the aisle, which I get, but still. Overall, great flight and will fly with them again!
The legroom was lacking and the entertainment system lacked adequate selection of older films. Modern films are generally not very good.
The flight attendants were wonderful - one man put my carry on in the bin for me. Very attentive service. Loved the blanket and pillow waiting for me in economy. Food was excellent which is a surprise given the reputation of any airline food. Wine was fine with the meals. Delighted with the new movies - flight went by very quickly. I would definitely fly Lufthansa again.
My flight was cancelled, but it was not Kayak's fault. Kayak did require me to pay for the ticket twice to two different venders who paid Lufthansa. Kayak/Lufthansa owes me for the first booking I made first was fraudulent on the part of the subcontracting ticket seller. There will be litigation over this issue under the current passenger protection laws.
flight was half full, plenty of empty seats, was able to lie down across 4 seats, food was good, arrived on time
Generally good. Not their fault but the design of the Boeing 747 had seating supports directly in line with my legs. So my legs always had to straddle this support which caused body misallignment. Such poor design from Boeing. There was no USB port for me to charge my phone. The screen touch control was very poor.
I like crew. They are friendly. The flight was delayed to take off for 1hr and that caused panic at Houston Airport to catch connecting flight due to security check delay. If it has reached on time I would have sufficient time in collecting bags and security check
How about changing the personal out to more friendly human beings? This team was pretty arrogant. No fun!!
