Cons: "Nothing out of the ordinary regarding the flight itself. The gate was changed twice, which was inconvenient. Not much leg room or no adjustable pillows on the seats."

Cons: "Almost was late for our flight, because it took us over 1 hour to pass the passport control at the Frankfurt airport. It was terribly organized and understaffed which caused other people to miss their flight. My husband and I ended up running to our gate like mad men and we were the last to board right before they closed the gate. Very stressful and frustrating!!! Other than that the flight was ok. We were surprised that we were served a dinner right after we took off, but the hot entree was bad, so we ended up asking the flight attendant bring us more bread so we filled up on that."

Pros: "One of the most terrible flights I have been on. I was seated by the window (albeit there was no window) in the first row of economy. It was very tight and frankly appeared as though this row was added as an afterthought. I was very disappointed. The food (breakfast) was also not good. Thankfully it was a short flight to Athens."

Cons: "The A321 aircraft was not interiorly designed for decent Business Class seating, as was our reservation. This contrasted dramatically with the Aircraft from Toronto to Frankfurt, which was truly Business Class Journey. One might call it Premium Economy but certainly NOT Business Class seats. The Ground crew before Boarding were a mess, no proper announcement, not keen to organise passengers, and just filling up the Bus as if filling a can with sardines! One Washroom, excessive long wait to get there, if at all, and despite the crew's help."

Cons: "One of the stewardess was kind of rude in one ocassion. She asked me if I wanted something to drink and i did't hear well so I said excuesme and she responded back to me in a rude way. I did not like that and I believe that if you choose to work in an environment where you are going to be providing assistance to people you should have excellent people skills. Maybe she had a bad day (I dont know) but still there is no need to answer back in a rude way to a customer."

Cons: "Seats on the 777 were too narrow. This 777 had a 3-4-3 seating arraignment, it would have been better with a 3-3-3, similar to a 787 configuration. With the current layout, even with an aisle seat, I was sitting in the aisle. And I am not a large person! The flight was full, so use the 787 and two daily non-stops. For a twelve hour flight, the food was only Okay, could have been better and with a better selection. Meal timing was poor."

After that meal service he offered everyone coffee except us."

Cons: "Because the flight was through british airways, extra baggage was $90 much more expensive than Finnair's prices. After paying that before departure to London I recieved an email from British Airways that stated an extra bag for both my flight to London and return flight to San Francisco had been fully paid for. At the airport I was told by British Airways employees that I would have to pay another $90 regardless of what my email said because their official prices are $90 each way not both. I showed them the confirmation I had recieved and all they could say was "that is confusing". There was very little empathy or attempt to help. As a result I was forced to leave the suitcase behind with my acquaintance in London and do an in airport shuffle of all of my belongings. The flight was great but beware emails that may not match up with online info."

Pros: "Having read horror stories online about booking with Kayak's partner Justfly, I was prepared for the worst (last-minute cancellations, partial refunds, all-around crummy service). Actually, my Finnair flight was great - it was operated by BA, so it was a nice new double-decker Airbus plane. It was maybe 3/4ths full, so I nearly had a row to myself - shoutout to the jerk who decided he was entitled to the aisle seat. The flight was smooth and easy and best of all, it cost a fraction of what the BA price for a one-way from SFO to LHR cost."

Why are the restaurants advertising being open to some specific time (well prior to the departure of this flight) yet then have staff holler at you that they are closed when you try to go in well before that time. It would have been very nice to have been able to sit down and have some dinner prior to the flight, but the rudeness of both of the two restaurants and their staff was worthy of the notoriety of NYC attitudes (which I don't generally see in mainstream NYC society)."

Cons: "When I got to Phl I missed my connection to London. No one seemed to care that I needed to be in England by the 18th. They kept retorting me to arrive in England on the 19th. I told them multiple times Id be flexible and go to any city in the UK just for them to get me there on the 18th. The First person I talked to said it was impossible. So I called again and talked to another person and all of a sudden it was possible. The worst part was they sent me to Boston after that I didn't get to Boston until 1:50 am and they did not compensate with hotel or anything while my flight to London was not until 8:00 am the next morning. So I spent the night in the airport. Oh and then when I finally got to London, my bag is lost and they told me I'd have it by tomorrow and I still do not have my bag and have called and they said they can't tell me anything."

Not as frustrating if this only happens once; three times is definitely a pattern and a problem!"

Cons: "Keflavik Airport, where all transfers are done, is a MESS. There are too few jetways, so you wind up waiting for a BUS to take you to the terminal in the COLD. Once through immigration, you are dumped directly in to the DUTY FREE SHOP that you can NOT avoid. Imagine being late for your next flight, and having to steer your carry on baggage around crowded store isles! Then, you manage to find your gate...which is an effort in itself, as there are few signs...and there is ONE agent checking boarding passes of this massive crowd that is not lined up at ALL. Once in the air, Iceland Air performs well. But on the ground, it is nothing less than a MESS."

Frustrating to wait nearly an hour only to be told that the bags didn't get there."

She did not try to get help from a colleague until 25 minutes into trying to get it figured out herself... On top of everything else, the baggage tag printer at her station failed."

Pros: "I had a connection from Frankfurt to Seattle with a 45 minute layover in Reykjavik, my Frankfurt leg was delayed and it was later in the day so there was no way for me to make it to Seattle on time. At first they offered to put me up and Frankfurt, which I wasn't too happy about. I then asked them if I could take my delayed flight to Frankfurt and then just stay in Reykjavik for the night and take my original flight home, just the next day. To my surprise they said yes. Their service in Reykjavik was just phenomenal. I was greeted at the gate by an attendant who gave me the choice of staying in Keflavik (the town next to the airport) or in Reykjavik itself which is 30 miles from the airport. They put me up in a fancy 4 star hotel on the harbor in Reykjavik, covered my taxi rides (120 dollars each way) and my meals (costing about 100 dollars total for dinner, breakfast, and lunch. I could not have asked for a better layover experience!"

I love flying them because their service is great and their flights are affordable...but I still hate having to decide whether to fork over 20 dollars just for a meal. I'd rather have it included in the ticket price. The other annoying part of my flight was with the desk service at Frankfurt Airport. When our flight was delayed, we had to exit past security, go out to the main terminal and wait in a slow-moving line for our flights to be re-booked, hotels to be arranged, and baggage to be arranged etc. While the service team was very friendly and helpful, they were very poorly organized. It seemed like different agents were constantly having to move around and get approvals from other agents while some agents were just sitting around only signing an occasional expense form. I was waiting in line for almost an hour with just ten people in front of me! I feel like the line would have gone twice as fast if they worked a bit to eliminate bottlenecks!"

I understand they may deal with this on a daily basis but to me it was scary to think i may not get on a plane home when i paid over $1000.00 and it wouldn't let me check in early. I would have appreciated a little empathy."

Cons: "These were the smallest airplane seats I've ever encountered. On the leg from Seattle to London, I was in a window seat and my 6'2" husband was wedged in a middle seat. We were both cramping up halfway through the flight. When the person in front of me reclined his seat, my meal ended up in my lap. On the London-to-Seattle return trip, for some reason, the airline changed our seats so we weren't sitting together, and changed us both to middle seats. The agent at the gate said the plane was full, but managed to get us both aisle seats. I would highly recommend an aisle seat since it's easier to get in and out to stretch the legs."

The crutches were not tagged when moved without my permission and are now lost with very little chance of finding them. In the three weeks since they have only replied to one of my emails to say they will not provide compensation even to replace the crutches. It disheartens me they have a lack of care and urgency for equipment that is so vital for daily mobility in people's lives."

The most difficult part was to see one flight attendant working hard while another sat in her jump seat and read her Bible (commendable, but still....) Overall, I'd say it was a bare-bones flight. The cheese and crackers available for purchase for $8.49 was modest but good; it's hard to screw up cheese and crackers. I won't choose American again to make this particular leg of travel (again, I bought the return from an agency that said it was a British Airways flight, but ended up being operated by American Airlines.)"

I don't know if they're overworked by the time they head to SEA, but they need to get their attitudes in check. I'm tired too when returning home, I expect the staff to be as pleasant on my inbound as my outbound."

Therefore, my leg was in the aisle just slightly, and when the staff rolled the cart through they crashed right into my knee. They did not apologize or ask me to move my leg first. Also, when I tried to check in and change my seat on line, I was not able to do so. When I called on the phone, they were not able to do so. When I arrived in Milan airport, they were unable to do so. Finally, at Heathrow, they changed my seat for the second flight to an aisle which is good because I would NEVER fit in a middle or window seat with my long legs unless the person in front of me did not recline their seat at all."

Pros: "We took off over an hour late, O well, it happens. What was worse, was the on-board entertainment. I felt like I was back in 1985 where you don't have your own screen, and the airline chooses the films. I'm sorry, but it's 2016, I expect better."

Cons: "The Plane was so cold I needed to wear a sweater, scarf, down jacket and a blanket, compared to only having to wear a button up long sleeve shirt for the flight to germany. When i would get up to go to the bathroom I could see a large portion of the passengers wearing winter coats, hats, scarves, and hoods to keep warm. The temperature was never addressed during the flight. The flight crew with one exception could not have been in a worse mood. For example whenever they needed to tell people what the choices for drinks are they gave a big sigh and rolled their eyes. it seemed as if they had been working for 36 hours without a break and they had to smell trash the whole time. I am very unhappy with the way american airlines handled the british airways scheduled flight and i will make sure to not book with them again."
