Cons: "If you have to swap out planes, do it at night, not the morning of the flight! And tell the customers in advance, so they can get some sleep instead of hurrying to the airport for an "on time" flight that couldn't be flown because of an equipment problem."

Cons: "I had a problem getting a boarding pass that was a carryforward from a problem that I had had on the flights from the USA to Frankfort 2 weeks earlier. On those flights, I was denied boarding on the flight from Amsterdam to Frankfort because of miscommunication between Delta and KLM. Apparently, the staff who dealt with that problem did not note that the issue had occurred, so it looked like there were "out-of-sequence" segments on my initial flight and I was not allowed to check in electronically. It took several calls to KLM and Delta in Frankfurt to try to resolve the problem and finally it was determined that it could only be resolved at the airport. Other than a very nice KLM representative, the other people I talked to seemed unwilling to engage in helping me and sent me along to someone else. Although the problem was ultimately fixed, this was not a great customer service experience."

The earbuds I was given didn't work, my own didn't work, apparently the seat I was in has a connectivity issue, so the sound kept blasting in and out and was horrible. I had to hold the connector in the seat. The food option was non-existant once the cart came to me, the only option was chicken, which was horrible. Overall, I was not impressed with the service or flight ...."

It was terribly organized and understaffed which caused other people to miss their flight. My husband and I ended up running to our gate like mad men and we were the last to board right before they closed the gate. Very stressful and frustrating!!! Other than that the flight was ok. We were surprised that we were served a dinner right after we took off, but the hot entree was bad, so we ended up asking the flight attendant bring us more bread so we filled up on that."

Pros: "One of the most terrible flights I have been on. I was seated by the window (albeit there was no window) in the first row of economy. It was very tight and frankly appeared as though this row was added as an afterthought. I was very disappointed. The food (breakfast) was also not good. Thankfully it was a short flight to Athens."

This contrasted dramatically with the Aircraft from Toronto to Frankfurt, which was truly Business Class Journey. One might call it Premium Economy but certainly NOT Business Class seats. The Ground crew before Boarding were a mess, no proper announcement, not keen to organise passengers, and just filling up the Bus as if filling a can with sardines! One Washroom, excessive long wait to get there, if at all, and despite the crew's help."

Cons: "One of the stewardess was kind of rude in one ocassion. She asked me if I wanted something to drink and i did't hear well so I said excuesme and she responded back to me in a rude way. I did not like that and I believe that if you choose to work in an environment where you are going to be providing assistance to people you should have excellent people skills. Maybe she had a bad day (I dont know) but still there is no need to answer back in a rude way to a customer."

When we checked in - they asked us to both check in our carry on luggage. The reason why is because they said they don’t think they have enough space for our carry ons. I told the crew member checking us in that other people that was checking in with the same hand carry size luggage with us had no problems taking it with them. For being about to be on a 17 HOUR FLIGHT we should be ALLOWED to have our carry ons with us! We take carry ons for that reason! I had to argue and prove my case to the crew member to atleast keep 1 carry on with us. I thought that was an UNACCEPTABLE reason for us to check in a carry on luggage when we had a 17 hour travel time ahead of us. Not a happy costumer here."

Pros: "KLM Is an impressive flying experience. We enjoyed the comfortable seats, the in-flight entertainment, and the food. The flight attendants are top notch as well."
Cons: "The only complaint I have regarding my most recent flight was the incredibly rude service staff whom we experienced at the front counter at check-in. After a harrowing cab ride to the airport in which our driver continuously ignored my request to follow the GPS insisting that he knew faster shortcuts, we arrived 40 minutes later than intended. Additionally he dropped us off at the wrong terminal such that we finally arrived at the KLM gate an hour later than we had planned. This was especially frustrating as we are traveling with two small children and made every effort to be punctual and leave early to be sure we got there with time to spare. Not the case today. All of that I could deal with, but when we arrived at the KLM counter, and I apologized to the attendant staff member that we were late and explained that our cab driver got lost, she responded by chastising us first in Spanish and then in broken English. She made sure to make it clear to us that it was our fault and we should not blame the Argentinian cabdriver. The cabdriver was not actually Argentinian, but that is totally besides the point. I was totally taken aback to be treated so rudely as a greeting at the airline counter. My wife share the same sentiment. Nothing like this has ever happened to us before. Thank God, every single airport personnel and of course KLM staff member on board was incredibly kind and accommodating of our children subsequent to this. It saved what otherwise could've been a terrible experience."

Cons: "As a new user of the app I expected information to flow more fluidly. Gate changes were not communicated through the app unlike several other airline apps I use. My biggest complaint, if you will, is the requirements to pay for anything one wants on the plane. A soda, water, bag of crisps/chips, all for purchase. For the cost of the airline ticket, even our "no checked bag" ticket, you could at least afford to give passengers a can of soft drink or a water and inexpensive bag of pretzels or crisps. Seat was basically comfortable, not great but comfortable. Departed late but arrived on time"

Cons: "British Air overbooked the flight; I checked in on time but there were no seat assignments left. I went to the gate anyway to try; the gate attendant kept me waiting for a seat so long that the gate closed. He was not nice. His colleague booked me on a different flight to LCY airport (instead of Heathrow). But that different flight got diverted to Manchester. So the fast that BA overbooked cost me an extra 6 hours and $140 to buy a train & tube ticket to get back to Heathrow. The fact that there was not a single smile among the staff, and I had to argue to even get on the second flight, is inexcusable."

Called the airlines multiple times but only heard a message that they were "busy". British airlines was again unable to help us at the airport. We had to go to American to have them "hack in" and adjust our British airway flight itenerary. I will never fly British airlines again. They couldn't have been less helpful if they tried"

Cons: "No food or beverage served on this 1.5 hour flight unless you paid extra. Not even water. Had to pay extra to select seats. You could wait until the day of the flight and do it for free. I wish I was informed of this before purchasing the non-refundable ticket. BA "customer service" was absolutely no help on this front and merely reiterated their policy. They are NOT a premium carrier and their practices have relegated them to bargain carrier status. I will not fly BA again."

Cons: "We couldn't enter the gate area until about 30 minutes prior. There wasn't anywhere else to wait so eveyrone nded up standing around the gate. Which blocked the hall to the restrooms and ended with a lot of people standing at a store front."

Cons: "On my way to Europe BA lost my custom made titanium crutches that cost over $750. They were moved without my consent to the holding of the plane, with checked baggage. The crutches were not tagged when moved without my permission and are now lost with very little chance of finding them. In the three weeks since they have only replied to one of my emails to say they will not provide compensation even to replace the crutches. It disheartens me they have a lack of care and urgency for equipment that is so vital for daily mobility in people's lives."

What caused my discomfort during the flight was not due to British Airways or American Airlines, but rather was a problem at the Frankfurt terminal. I could not take a bottle of water thru the security check and there was no water fountain after the security check. I have a lot of food sensitivities and cannot drink bottled water. It was only at the end of the flight when I was desperate for water that I discovered I could get some tap water from a flight attendant."

Cons: "the AA flight arriving to Charlotte experienced a door malfunction that delayed deplaning by 15 minutes. Not a big deal unless you had a close connection to begin with. Result was a dead sprint to Charleston gate where no attempt to hold the plane for those passengers. Also, a black, middle-aged woman with short hair working the ticket counter had the personality of a piece of cardboard with zero responsiveness. AA should reconsider who it places to interact with the general public."

Cons: "We waited at the gate in Frankfurt once the plane was loaded for 40 minutes for the aircraft to get pushed back from the jetway . Waited another 25 minutes in Dallas for an operator to place the jetway to the aircraft. One of the stewardess we had was really rude."

Cons: "The electronic screen that shows movies etc. needs to be updated. Some of the functions did not work and those that did work were very difficult to get to work well. Disappointing. Obsolete technology."

Cons: "Entertainment screen did not work which affected 6 passengers, rows 34 and 35. Flight attendants kept saying there was nothing they could do. They didn't return to give us an update. We had to ask three times to different attendants."

Cons: "Frankfurt was rebooked by AA to PHL connecting to LGA. LGA leg was cancelled. They wanted us to take a flight to LGA the next day. We got ticketed to DCA connecting to LGA same day. Finally arrived home after 18 hours of travel. NOT HAPPY. We don't blame AA for weather cancellation but it was not an easy trip home."

Instead, I was put in mid-row seats 42D and 24E, on both flights. No notification or explanations from American Airlines or Kayak, and no refund...yet. Any comments?"

Pros: "The pasta coming out of Frankfurt that was served on the plane was actually phenomenal I have never had that kind of cheese spaetzle in an aircraft before absolutely excellent. The desert choice of the crumble tart was also very good. The roll was cold as usual in economy class. The rap served as pre arrival meal was also very good. This was by far the best food I have ever had and economy class I have never encountered this food traveling from the US to Europe but traveling back from Europe the food is often better. This one was phenomenal."
Cons: "Selecting the entertainment choices was very very sluggish to the point where I just discontinued trying to find a show to watch. On both flights, going to Frankfurt and then returning from Frankfurt those international flights, the video or entertainment was very slow to select. I also noticed in some seats it wasn't working or people also just gave up. I did however like the fact that some shows we're closed captioned, that is really helpful because sometimes it is difficult to adjust the sound to to be able to clearly hear the conversations in the movie. Subtitles definitely help. I wish all of them had subtitles. The boarding is okay and I understand all the emeralds and rubies and platinum's Etc, but sometimes by the time group for get seated there's not always enough room in the overhead compartments because people tend to put all their bags their. And some people still take oversized bags that should probably be checked this is quite a nuisance."

Cons: "This was a code shared operation. Iberia issued my ticket but flight was operated by American Airlines. That made it difficult to reserve my seat in advance, and impossible (literally!) to reserve a special request meal. Online request wouldn't work so I called Iberia. They said they couldn't reserve the meal, I needed to call American. So I called American, they said they couldn't reserve the meal (even though the plane would be catered by their contracted food service-go figure THAT out!) and I should call the travel agent. Called the travel agent, who said I needed to call Iberia! Apparently no one could (or would) be responsible for my satisfaction. So the message here is: Beware the Code Share!"

Cons: "The flight never happened, so all in all, things we're pretty terrible!"

Pros: "Crew was ok, did their best considering the circumstances, but even they were getting aggravated and were short with the passengers near the end."
Cons: "The Washington airport is horrible. The gate we left from was not a gate but a series of doors that buses came to. This wouldn't be so bad if they were able to handle it in an orderly way, but the airport showed complete incompetence in organizing anything and there were people everywhere trying to find the right door which kept changing on them, and the times kept changing...it was a mess. Then, when we finally got on the plane and were about to take off, the air traffic control tower called and said that their flight path was incorrect and to not take off...but didn't give them a new flight path for nearly two hours as we sat on the runway. Nationalize the airports in DC, fire the whole lot and start fresh, I'd say."
