Cons: "When I went to check in in San Jose, they told me I was double booked on the flight to Seattle. One booking was paid for but not connected with the Reykjavik flight and the other booking was not paid for and connected to the Reykjavik flight. I spent 30 minutes at the first class check in counter of alalska air and then another 20 minutes at the gate almost missing the flight."

Pros: "First time flying from SNA/OC. Accessibility of terminals was great, close by parking and only 2$/hour. Almost no wait for check in and security, very fast and convenient. Boarding was uncomplicated and there was enough space for carry on items. Loved that they offer wifi throughout the flight and free messaging (in case you don't need full internet access). Will definitely consider flying with Alaska Airlines again!"

There was less room under the seat for baggage and feet and I got my elbow banged pretty bad by a cart (I had fallen asleep). I also think it is lame to be charged for basically everything but a drink and a cracker on a 5+ hour flight. We get nickle and dimed for everything. $10 for each food item, $10 for a movie screen (what happened to the good old days with free in flight movies?). We have to pay to check luggage ($25 bucks). We normally avoid flying if humanly possible because it is in general too much stress and too expensive but we prefer Southwest airlines if they will go to our destination. Bags are included with their tickets!"

I was the last person to board and I made it to the gate in the nick of time. It was really stressful. On my way to PDX I used SW and I had a connecting flight in Denver. However the pilot was very good about giving us an update and assuring that we will get there on time. I felt reassured that SW cared for its passengers and was trying to alleviate our stress."

Cons: "The food was delicious, but I couldn't give a five stars just because I had to pay for it. 6 hours flight it was necessary to eat something, it was just $6 and drinks were free. So I give a 4 start for that reason. Entertainment was good if you bring your own tablet or laptop. Some shows are free and some you have to pay for. They also had tablets for rent for $10. Confort, it was a pretty big plane. I had the bad luck to get the seat in front of the emergency exit so I couldn't reclined my sit but it wasn't that bad."

I purchased a ticket for him and his friend to meet me in Seattle for a Mariners game, an event which never happened. Alaska Airlines, in response, refunded those two round trip tickets in full, and gave me a year to rebook my flight. I was floored by their compassion. Thank you Alaska Airlines."

The plane we were on had more leg room than your average flight. Also the backs of the chair were very tall, leaving even mpre head room perfect for tall people . I fly a lot and sometimes my knees hit the seat in front of me or when they recline it shoves the tray to close to you. Not on this flight there was enough room for me to lay back in the seat had the adjustable headrest that went up and down and also curved in to hold your head from falling on your neighbor next to you. Love the fact they had the USB plug-in in front of you. And the crew constantly kept coming through to empty trash and offer beverages. The plane was clean bathrooms in front and back of the airplane. Over all quiet engine and we were above the wings. Temperature good."
Cons: "The crew member that was checking in people at the gate would talk so fast we could barely understand what he was saying on the overhead announcement. I was traveling with someone who was hearing impaired so we were unaware of that they were getting ready to board. The electronic TV monitor wasn't updating to say boarding to notify people that would be helpful for the hearing impaired. Or--if a crew member is muffled on the announcement or talks too fast you can't understand or know what's going on. The most frustrating thing for me and my daughter we were both expecting to use Delta online entertainment. There are no monitor screens in the seats in front of us on this plane. So we were able to use our phones, but it would not download and once It finally downloaded we couldn't upload any of the movies. Connection speed way too slow. The warning said there were too many people on it at that time. Also I like it when they offer free headphones for people that don't have them. An example that would benefit people that don't want to listen to loud people on the plane or babies that are crying."

The check in process was not clearly defined and even after spending 30 minutes checking a bag I️ still had to care my checked bag down to another TSA check line. In their boarding area there were minimal phone chargers. The plane was small and no leg room and a rigid uncomfortable seat. Also the flight was at night and they kept the cabin lights on. That was super frustrating to an exhausted traveler who was trying to sleep."

This was my worst experience, I have missed flights before and I get rebooked pay some fee but I still get to my destination. I missed an opportunity to pay last respect to my dad. Pros: "The crew was very nice...excellent choices in entertainment...and I appreciate the perk of Preferred Boarding in group 2."
Cons: "We had to deplane 2X for maintenance issues. It was frustrating because it caused a 3-hour delay...however, we do appreciate the safety aspect and would rather be safe than sorry. You also ask us to rate food, but they do not provide food...what do we rate...the soda choices, the teeny bags of snack mix."

Many passengers wanted off but they crew refused Another reason not to fly United I am cancelling my return flight an returning on another airline! United is e worse airline in business today. Cons: "Roundtrip flight to Seattle with a layover, first flight went without incident, so far so good. On the flight back (during a layover) literaly 5 minutes till boarding the plane, the pilot is ready to go, the people are standing in line, United decides it wont make enough $ on the flight and gives it to an Ontario flight. We are canceled and now have to wait 4 additional hours in the airport. Was told it was air traffic control that messed up, not United, which was not even possible and an obvious untruth. Was offered a complimentary bottle of water for the trouble. Classic united."

Pros: "No charging docks on plane as military duffle bag open with clothing hanging out on arrival ~ not sure if anything stolen but the threat is very real and it's unacceptable for military bags to be delivered in that manner"

Pros: "The crew overheard me offer my scarf to the lady next to me because I noticed that she was cold, and a few minutes later they offered her a blanket without us even asking for one. We were both so shocked that they knew what we needed before we asked for it."

Cons: "When i came back to my country everything was ok until i got my credit details and i saw that your receptionist stole money from my card. I should have pay for an exstra suitcase 60 dollars so i gave the receptionist my credit card. Yesterday I got my credit details i saw an extra charge of 400 hundred dollars !!! I am so mad and im waiting for you to cancel it and recompense. I hope it will be soon before i involve a layer and require you. My phone number is +97224518838."

Pros: "I just missed my flight by a few minutes. The crew was very helpful for booking me in the next flight."

Cons: "I was seated next to a morbidly obese man that smelled of feces so bad people many seats away had to cover their noses, overflowed his seat, taking up half of mine, and was watching disgusting pornography on his phone for half the flight, not that I was looking, but it was a bit hard to not notice, he wasn't trying to hide it. The power outlet under my seat did not work, so my phone died, and my armrest(left) was missing it's headphone jack so I couldn't use the in-flight entertainment, not that it would have mattered anyway, the fat man beside me was so huge, his fat covered my armrest so I had no access to the remote. The guy on my right, in the window seat, while not fat, wasn't small either and hogged two armrests, leaving me with none. I had to hold my seatback with my left hand the entire flight because there was nowhere to put my left arm without either holding it straight out in front of me, or laying them on the fat mans stomach which was folded over the armrest to my left. At one point I called a flight attendant and asked if they had any kind of a pillow or something to help my situation because the position I was forced to sit in was horribly uncomfortable and did not support my back, she looked at me confused, said they have nothing like that, and immediately vanished without any suggestion of a seat change or anything, just confused stare and then bolted away. All in all a pretty traumatizing experience, worst flight of my life."

Pros: "The crew and staff were patient with so many situations out of their control. The Huston maintenance are on top of their game."
Cons: "1st plane was taken out of commission because there were loose/missing rivets from panels 2nd plane was taken out of commission because hot air was was coming through the vents and causing sensors to go off 3rd plane was taken put of commission because there was issues with cabin pressure. 4th plane had a row of oxygen masks down. The flight was delayed until a tech could come in and service it. The flight was further delayed because there was a missing receptacle in one of the lavatories."

Cons: "Failed to compensate my flights and hospitality. Not a better place to be stranded. Fresno, ca. Not impressed."

Pros: "The seating was way to tight, the leg room cramped absolutely most uncomfortable. It was over booked and people were left behind. It was also very bumpy ( I know not your fault) so therefore seatbelt lights were on for most of the flight"

Cons: "Was delayed and missed my connection home. The hotel provided by United was dirty and run down. They gave me food vouchers for the hotel but the hotel did not have any food options. I was rescheduled on a flight home and was forced to sit in the row in front of the bathroom by the window. Likely the most cramped seat on the aircraft. I literally could not sit upright with out my head striking the wall. To top it all off they lost my bag. After hours of wrangling with the baggage folks it could not be located in their computer system at all. I was told they could only reimburse for $3,500. Needless to say I had some expensive camera equipment in my checked luggage and was not too excited about this reimbursement cap. By some miracle the bag ended up at my home destination. It was off in the corner of baggage claim. No tag on it, no one standing around it, no one knew anything about it. I just happen to walk by it on my way out of the airport. Horrible experience. I think I’ll stick with the other airlines in the future."

Cons: "We are two active duty members flying to take our son to our parents for us to get ready to go on deployment. When we arrived there the line was almost an hour and a half just to check bags we almost missed our flight. When we got to the counter ans told him we were both military flying on orders and asked to be tsa checked he had no clue what we were talking about so this kind woman helped him do his job, needless to say he was a manager. Once we got out tickets the seat assignment said see agent so we did. He hands us our tickets and we are a plane length apart. Let me mind you we both just left our child for a 8 month deployment overseas. We asked the guy if it was possible to get seats together wouldnt even acknowledge we were speaking to him. So we tried again he held his hand in my face and told me he serviced me and to please step back. Ive been bawling 2 hours straight from having to leave our son. So we stepped back. Then in the line this couple comes up and they were looking for seats together, i kid you not he gave them seats together! I will NEVER EVER fly united every again. Thank goodness for this kind gentle to switch me seats on the plane because i was crying i had to leave my fiance after i just had to say goodbye to our son for 8 months!! I was so shocked!!! I will tell every single person i know to never use united! You guys should be ashamed of our company! I will inform every active duty member i come across!"

Cons: "The airplane was dirty. There was stuff on the window, the tray table. I get you run a tight schedule but if I didn't have Purell and a Kleenex I would have been really disgusted with the food and coffee or pop splatters all over the window and tray table."

Cons: "All my flights were delayed due to weather in airports that were not a part of either my destination or point of origin. Not a single United employee apologized. There was no one to talk to on the 800 number, no one in the airport. No offers for any sort of vouchers or compensation was offered. The United website did my give accurate updates for when the flights would be rescheduled and there were two representatives in the airport to handle several hundred customers. When I finally did get on a flight, the flight attendants pushes the beverage cart right past my seat without offering anything. I asked one of them if I could have a cup of water and her reply was a very curt 'no'. Rude flight attendants on top of everything else? And the final straw came when a mechanical error delayed my flight home and I missed my ride from the airport and had to pay for an expensive cab ride. The airline representative I spoke to once we landed told me "you should be grateful you even got home. I don't care if you have to spend money on a can, you look like you can afford it." There are no words for how absolutely unacceptable your employees behaved, and how unaccountable and disorganized your airline is. I don't care if it costs me hundreds of dollars more, I will NEVER give your company another dollar."

Pros: "Done with United! Will never fly them again. Every flight is overbooked. Just a matter of time before you get screwed."

Pros: "The ticket agent boarded military service men and women with priority. For the delayed flight, free in-flight entertainment and wifi was offered."
Cons: "The flight was delayed taking off two hours. Once boarded we sat for an additional amount of time. The flight attendant offered the option for those that wanted to deplane at some point and when asked how much longer we would be sitting she said it was another 30 minutes waiting on 15 people."

Cons: "I wasn't assigned a seat and the line to talk to the agents was long with only one guy and the he didn't help anyone til it was almost time to board. Probably one of the most stressful flights"

Pros: "Was in first class and food was good however I don't think the crew knew when to set the alcohol off to a few people"
Cons: "What I didn't like about the first class was the fact of the crew gave out a little bit too much alcohol to a few people and at which point they became belligerent and bumping into people and Isles just a little to satisfied with that and would hope that would change in future"

Cons: "Man at security made me check my bag even though it fit in the test structure. My suitcase handle was then ripped off and the fabric was ripped when I picked up at baggage claim. Additionally, another person on my flight had the same first and last name as me and we had been assigned the same seats. Luckily there was another seat but it was obviously a bit mistake on uniteds part. I really dislike united. Their employees are stressed, rude, and entitled. There's no need to say things like "hurry up" or make people check bags when they don't need to...I used to fly United a lot but I will now make every effort to not fly this airline again."

Pros: "I liked the distance between my seat the seat in front of me. Hands down, this is one of the most spacious planes to fly on in economy class. I also appreciated the attendant giving me the entire can of club soda rather than pouring it over ice. Staff was communicative, and the pilot provided us periodic updates on our speedy progress and early arrival. Cleanliness of the plane was also well appreciated. Even the bathroom towards the end of the flight was in satisfactory condition. Above all, I loved that there wasn't a television in my face the entire flight. Nice to have a break from seeing screens."
Cons: "There were signs on our tray tables indicating that charging stations were under our seats. They weren't working. Although the flight attendant came on the intercom with the pilot stating the charging happened in a wave around the cabin, this was a lie. Both my neighbors in my row had devices plugged in the entire 5+ hour flight and they didn't charge a bit. It's disappointing that a small half ounce bag of peanuts is too much of an expense for the airline nowadays. Given the amount of time in the air, I believe a full meal provided by the airline would have been closer to meeting basic needs of your average metabolism. United fell far from expectations on this aspect."

Cons: "I had a carry on but they said the over head compartments were too full. So they grabbed the bag from as I was boarding. They then lost my bag. Now United is refusing to send my bag even though it has been found by the airport lost and found police in a city that was not my destination."

Cons: "On the day we were to begin our trip, our flights were delayed so late that we had to be changed to a completely different airline. There was absolutely no explanation as to why the plane was unavailable. On our return flight home, once again the flight was delayed too late for us to make our connecting flight. We were told we would have to change airlines again. We spent 13 hours sitting in the airport waiting for a flight to take us to our destinations. Poor weather was not an issue . We will never book a flight with United ever again."

Cons: "While the tv on the plane is something that I could see people enjoying, the controls are located right where an arm rest is resulting in flipping channels changing contrast and all other things I had no idea what was going on, as nobody passed that information."

Cons: "Flight delayed 6 hours. I was promised overnight stay. That didn't happen. The customer service rep said, "it's not my problem" when I had to reschedule my client and business twice! My luggage and was lost. I will never book or fly with you again. And you can bet I'll be making several complaints to BBB etc."

Pros: "There was a really awesome guy flight attendant working this flight. I liked his personality. He actually talked to people."
Cons: "We never heard the reason for the delay, which I thought was odd because it was 30+ minutes of wondering what was going on. This flight had wi-fi, but I couldn't figure out how to log on, so I didn't use it."

Cons: "Both my connections were late. First over 2 hours, the second 45 min. The salad I spent $10 on was horrible. Overall just a bad experience with the airline- wish I could get my money back."

Volariis counter staff did not provided nor informed a paper boarding pass was needed to fly internationally when I told them I was traveling to Dallas."
