The whole time the gate agent was urging passengers to move faster through the aisle, but Delta should really rethink its boarding strategy. It shouldn't take 40 minutes to board a 757."

My knees were up against the seat in front and my back is sore from having to spend most of the trip twisted to try to fit into the small space. Also, my seat was is row 16 and was called a “premium” seat and I was charged an extra $24 for it. I did not find it any different than all the seats around me. What was the extra charge for?"

Also, a humongous passenger waddled down to our row and wedged herself into the window seat just before the doors closed. She immediately wanted to raise the seat divider, claiming that it was uncomfortable. The middle seat passenger insisted that she wanted to have it down, correctly pointing out that she had paid for a whole space. Despite the seat divider, the obese person's body oozed over and below into the middle seat during the flight, cramming the middle passenger. These folks Need to buy a second seat..."

So, we were stuck in Atlanta airport with no good way to our final destination. Instead of waiting for 22 hours for the next available flight, or driving for 7 hours from Atlanta to Cincinnati, we had to fly into another city and drive to Cincinnati from there AT OUR OWN EXPENSE. It was a rebooking nightmare."

We, needless to say missed our connecting flight to SYDNEY and had to wait til next day and fly to SAN FRANCISCO, then to MELBOURNE, then on to Christchurch. We MISSED out on TWO DAYS of our short trip! which included missed reservations!!"

Cons: "An extremely rude woman told me there was no space to place my bag in the overhead compartment and forced me to step aside and check my backpack. I didn't have a purse or any other item, just a backpack. I told them I had medication and they told me to just put it in my pockets. So I stashed my medicine in my pockets and had no room for my personal items or valuables. I had a hiking backpack with a water bottle in the side, and since they forced me to check the bag, my water bottle flew out of the pocket while it was being loaded onto the plane. Fortunately they at least tracked me down and brought my stainless steel water bottle to my seat. However, it wouldn't fit in the pocket in front of me and I had no other bag to store it in so I had to hold it and a few other belongings in my lap for the entire flight. I also had some other fragile items in my backpack that may or may not be okay. Also, when I boarded the plane, there was still space...there was no need to be so rude and force me to check a bag being used not only as my suitcase but as my purse as well. I'm so displeased with American, their staff, and their overall disorganization. How ridiculous."

I arrived at the airport at 12:30 and didn't end up catching a flight until 7:45 p.m.... oh and I forgot to mention that I originally paid for an upgrade for priority seating with more legroom that I never received because they put me on the very last seat that you can't even replying because there is a wall behind you.. Also, bag checkin for the flight I was on started at 7:45am. There were only 2 people at the checkin counter and one of them was busy doing something and ignoring the customers. So that was a little annoying."

Pros: "My kids and I had great experiences with Allegiant Air, thanks in large part to some excellent flight attendants. This was the first flight for both of my children (5, 7) and they had a blast. On our initial flight from Indianapolis to Ft. Lauderdale the attendants even gave each of them their own set of pin-on wings since it was their first time. The kids loved this!"
Pros: "Keep the free snacks and drinks, NA or soda, I really just miss the legroom (nearly 6’ tall) and cushions, a chair that can ease back a bit. All airlines do this but you are worse than frontier, the major carriers have skimped but not like this."

I have had literally the worst airline experience of my life today with United airlines. With confirmation number BS2EL9, my flight was set to go from Atlanta to Burbank, with a connection in San Francisco. The flight from Atlanta was delayed about 10 minutes, however, they assured us that we would arrive in San Francisco at the correct time of 9:39 AM with enough time to get to our connecting flights. They lied. Whereas we did arrive in San Francisco at around 9:39 AM, the plane taxied for approximately 15 or more minutes before letting anyone off of the plane. Still, I ran to my connecting flight before it left the runway at 10:10am. However, I was not permitted to step onto the plane by the fellow at the gate at the time. He told me that because boarding time was over at 9:55a, he would not let me step on the plane even though it was still on the runway. I was upset. I went to customer service and explained my situation to them. Speaking with a girl named Krystin S., I explained that I really needed to get to Burbank on time, before 2 o'clock. Today, I had a final for school, a meeting, and interview with a job, and I had to drop my dog off at the vet for an appointment which costed around $150. Krystin told me that there was nothing she could do, and offered me only a meal voucher. I was offended, and declined the voucher. I then spoke to customer service and they told me there was nothing they could do after informing me that the flight that they switched my flight to was delayed yet another hour and I would not arrive until 350pm. This is absolutely unacceptable, and I need a remedy. Far larger than a simple meal voucher. I have lost more money by missing my flight to Burbank because of the Atlanta airport lying to me then the flight was even worth. Also, I requested to speak to someone, but the representative on the phone said they didn't have a phone number to speak to anyone which adds to the cumbersome nature of this issue. Cons: "When I checked in at Newark, I upgraded my seat from 22 B to 7B for $55. I also paid $25 for my small piece of luggage. I was told there may be a lot of suitcases and it was better to check it. When on the plane, a stewardess came up to me and asked to see my boarding pass (which was scanned when I got onto the plane.) I gave it to her and she never returned it to me. I get an EMAIL while in Atlanta, saying my seat on the flight was canceled because I was a NO SHOW on the 27th to go down to Atlanta. I had the receipt of my seat upgrade, my receipt for the checked luggage, and the tag on the luggage. I called United who said I wasn't on the plane. After a long conversation, she said she fixed it. I get to the Atlanta airport on 10/31, and I was not in the system. I had to get a supervisor and they said my seat was gone and I may not be able to get back to NJ that day. After the agent called United Headquarters, they finally got me on the plane. I was told once again I should check my luggage and shelled out another $25. I then get to the gate, and the agent at the gate was asking for 10-20 people to check their luggage for FREE. That was it for me. I will not fly United again, and have already requested that my Executive Admin's not use United and use other airlines when they book business trips because I would hate for anyone to have to go through what I did. I am 44, have been flying since I was 5, and have never had anything like this happen and don't want it to happen to anyone else I know. I was disgusted by the whole situation."

Cons: "Boarding agents and cabin crew didn't convey a friendly tone. Multiple announcements made about keeping the boarding lanes clear and roller bags needing to be checked though some space in the overheads remained available. A full flight in the same plane from Denver seems to have plenty of overhead space, but a full plane leaving Atlanta runs out early?"
Cons: "In general, all the crew and counter people are not able to say "good morning" or smile, besides a delayed flight made a really bad experience"

Cons: "There are great entertainment options for in flight viewing, but there is no warning ahead of time that additional applications have to be downloaded in order to use them. At 30,000 feet it is impossible without paying for wifi. Also, I was actually looking forward to the little snack sized peanuts. Instead, you're given a salty trail mixed something that's seasoned very heavily. It just made me want to sneak water from the drink cart rather than curbing my hunger."

Cons: "I had asked for help for when we landed in Houston to get to my conecting flight. The attendant was nice enought to arrange it, but when we landed and I introduced myself to the person with the wheelchair, he made me feel bad enough to walk to my conecting flight. Anyone traveling, paying for the services of the airlines should not be mafe to feel ashamed to ask for help."

Cons: "Once we arrived Ohara airport this went from bad to worse. The plane arrived late and the we sat in the airplane for over 2hours because of repairs being made. I feel like the crew cold have been more forthcoming about what was happening it took at least .30min before we were told anything. After sitting on the plane for over 1 hours they finally move us to a new plane to board all over again it was very unorganized ."

My flight back home was Cancelled due to an airport issue ( not frontier's fault) however their overseas " reschedule flight line" provided little to no help to get me home. They simply did not have the training or care to help their customers to get home. Their sentiment was " so your flight was cancelled what do you want us to do about it? That's your issue Sir" Very poor experience!"

Cons: "The plane door closed early and when we got to the gate in Atlanta the attendant was very rude and unwilling to help reroute us. We ended up flying American on the way there. After our return flight, we will not be using frontier again."
Cons: "Flight delayed with no email communication or on site staff communication found out from another passenger. No one from the airlines showed up to tell us. Gate changed 2 different times , again I found this out through a 3rd party. Even "first class" seats are packed like sardines, zero leg room and I am short at 5'4". My nefew also flew on this airlines a month prior and had a similar experience with the gate changes and delayed flight, but his flight was then actucally cancelled and he found out when he got to the airport, again with no prior communication from the airlines, he was told it was a "Staffing issue" . The airlines would not reimburse him his travel time or offer a hotel room since the next flight was not until the next morning. Needless to say I will never fly this airlines again, it was my first and last time using them."
Cons: "We were stuck on the runway for over an hour after we landed and getting our luggage was a DISASTER. They changed the location of our baggage claim carousel with minimal notice, only to change it back to the original carousel with NO NOTICE. It took over an hour again for our luggage to come out and it trickled in so slowly, that I ended up getting my bag a full two and a half hours after we landed. Awful experience."

Pros: "INITIALLY, I was thrilled with the low price. That changed radically when I found out that Frontier charges for everything except air. The crew was polite and informative and let us know what was happening with our hour-plus delay."
Cons: "Didn't like the new seats and the tiny tray--very uncomfortable and practically useless. That said, I wasn't going to use the tray anyway (couldn't even put a tablet on it) for food, as Frontier is charging for food and water. At the time, I was not aware that I would be charged separately for baggage, including carry-on bags. If I had been, I would have MAILED my luggage to my final destination, as it would have been cheaper. My family of four turned out to have five bags, which added approximately $500 to the roundtrip cost of the tickets, or MORE than it cost for the tickets. That's right, flying the people (who weigh more than luggage) turned out to be cheaper than flying the bags. Look, if you want to encourage people to check bags, make checking the bag FREE. If you're just looking for a revenue stream, then you should be up front about what the costs will be. (But then people would be less inclined to book your "cheaper" tickets, wouldn't they?) Also, the flight wound up being delayed for over an hour, though my phone and the Frontier website continued to show "on time" status."

The crew was calm and even patient from my perspective, considering they were handling mad costumers after a 3&1/2 hour delay on christmast day. I saw good will on this flight from the crew. Remember when the pilots use to show you the cockpit? Well this pilot did to a kid as he entered the plane. The kid and his father were very happy, expeessing how cool is was as they continue to board. That, was a nice gesture and resulted in relaxing some people! The flight was fairly quick once we were in the air. Tha been said. This flight did t allow for me to rate entertaiment and food since it was too short for the crew to set that up."
Cons: "Well obviously the massive delayed! I, like many arrived at the airport with enough hours ahead to take this flight so say 6-7am only to sit around until 12:00pm in order to depart. That alone is a fairly black mark. In addition, the gate kept been moving around. Of course there are other planes to arrive and that needs to be understood but the constant changing and moving to distant gates was a bit tough on some of us."
