They gave her a toy, asked for her name, and checked on us often. They also gave my husband and I an option for early food service so that one of us could help our daughter eat. The movie selection was great. Take off, flight and landing were smooth. And we arrive half an hour early both directions!"

Pros: "What did I like??? Um, EVERYTHING! First off I got a great price under $850 round trip to NRT from LAX was a steal! They let you check two large suit cases plus a carry on and a personal item. That all FREE!!! I travel pretty light but it was great to know they don't Nickle and dime you for bags or anything else for that matter. Staff looks amazing and treats you first class even when your in economy. They are so polite and really genuinely want to give you a above and beyond experience. And they over achieve at it! They meals are great and very satisfying. The planes are big and roomy even in economy seats. On our return flight we had a brand new plane which had a sleek touch screen monitor and controller. There mad tons of media available (articles, language games, games, movies, tv shows and more) with USB ports to charge devices on each seat. Plus 10inch personal monitors. Earbuds were included free of charge, aswell as socks toothbrush and tooth paste. They have is two big meals on our direct flight (awesome that they have direct flights). Plus, they offered free snacks too and gave us a full can of soda vs. a small cup. They come through several times offering coffee, tea, water and snacks. All free of charge. This was my first time flying Singapore Airlines and I loved it!!! I wish Everyone was this amazing! Norwegian Airlines was the opposite as far as charging for everything! Had to pay each stop for any luggage ($100 per checked bag). No meals free or charge. They wanted money for everything! And yea a skimpy sandwich was $9.00 :(."

I really hesitate to even call a flight attendant whenever I fly, so I'm not high maintenance. Incident 1: The flight from DPS to Singapore the flight attendant scoffed when I asked for socks saying that economy passenger don't receive socks on this flight. I didn't appreciate the suggestion that my class wasn't worthy of meeting my request. Her response felt condescending. Her continued interaction with me consistently felt short and mildly irritated with me. I didn't understand why. Honestly, I won't fly Singapore again because of this. Flights are not cheap for me. I spend the extra few hundred dollars because of great reviews and a superior experience last year. I will not be spoken to in a condescending way. On the second leg of my travel from Singapore to LAX the flight attendant once again said that I will not be given socks? Why, thought? I'm traveling for over 30 hours. Have things changed? Second, I asked for a second ice-cream. She handed me the ice-cream then took it out my hand and told me she would have to come back to me. The galley that was suppose to have food didn't seem to have anything. Was I missing something. Be fail on many level."

Cons: "This trip was not quite as excellent as my flights on Singapore Airlines usually are; however, I cannot say for sure there was much that airline staff could have done to change this. A great deal of turbulence earlier in the flight made it difficult to enjoy the food. Also, there was a sewage-like smell that wafted through the air periodically - this could have been a child in the surrounding seats, though. Both of these issues seem difficult for the airline staff to address, however, unless the smell actually came from a problem with the ventilation system. The staff was exceptionally helpful and good-natured, though, which made the biggest difference. Thank you so much."

Cons: "My flight to Narita was fabulous, so I was surprised to find the return flight home filled with a condescending crew, terrible food, and a broken entertainment system. We had requested a Muslim meal on the previous flight, but the food was so spicy and smelly that we chose to go with the normal faire on the way back. I changed it on the website when I checked in online but when we arrived at the airport we were informed that the meal was still set as a muslim meal. The representative at the baggage counter called the plane and made sure that it was changed back to a normal meal. However, when it was dinner time we were presented with muslim meals. When we spoke to the head airhost to request a normal meal he said that they only carried a specific number and an leftover meals were for the crew only and that we had to eat the muslim meals or have sandwiches. We requested the sandwiches - the muslim meal was too spicy and had made us sick before. The "sandwiches" were pretty much two slabs of dry bread with some mayo slapped on. Disgusting and dry. I wish they could have made an exception for us or provided us with something edible. It was a long flight and we were starving by the time breakfast rolled around. The crew was condescending and cold. My entertainment system lacked functionality; some of the buttons on my remote were broken."

Pros: "First time to travel with Singapore Airlines and we were impressed with the overall service for economy class. Food was good, entertainment package offered multiple options. Flight attendants very helpful."

Pros: "The food and drinks were great on our flight there. Leg room was the same (cramped). However, on the flight back, the food was pretty bad and for some reason the service was also bad. After requesting a drink I got on the way to Tokyo, I was told that they would make it and come back. No one came back with the drink. The second time they came around with orange juice. I asked just for water since I was over the drink. They said they would get it and never came back. I had to use the call button and ask again for water."

Air NZ said they cancelled flights then Flyus.com said to deal with Air New Zealand and said my flights got cancelled and that they could not get me another flight. I had to find out how to get out of Berlin. I had to fly to Spain to my cousin’s home because I haf no where to go and did not have money to pay for another flight from Berlin to LAX 1,200 euros. I am still in Europe stuck and it is Monday 4/30. My son needs me in Los Angeles! I will never use Kayak again. What happened to my $878 dollars????"

Cons: "Unlike other international flights, Air New Zealand only allows 1 check in luggage per person instead of 2. Most other international airlines allow 2 check in luggage. But otherwise it was good and the service was ok, not as much food selection as other airlines but the crew are very nice and the airline is very clean."

Due to airline changes in time, at every single airport they had difficulty in accessing our flight information. Very frustrating considering how much we spent on the tickets."

This process struck me as bizarre/dishonest. I will not be back unless I can select a seat prior to booking."

Cons: "After boarding the plane and settling in, we were told to disembark because of mechanical issues. We then waited in the lobby sitting on the ground while they prepared another plan for us to depart. After a hour-and-a-half delay we finally departed but when we landed at LAX I discovered that they had lost my luggage instead of arriving at 9:40 and being on my way home, it is now 1 o'clock in the morning and I'm still not home because I had to fill out forms and deal with missing luggage. NOT HAPPY WITH MY EXPERIENCE!"

Cons: "No personal screens for in flight entertainment"

Pros: "Very friendly crew. Drinks and food were complimentary."
Cons: "It was freezing. Give blanket loners for people who don't want to buy or raise the temperature. Older movies and shows should be free. We are already paying a lot for the flight, don't make me pay for normal amenities."

Pros: "Great to be able to have a meal in-flight, at no additional cost."

Cons: "Seas are horribly cramped making for a very uncomfortable red eye experiences. Cabin crew were police but nowhere near friendly."

Pros: "There just seemed to be very little leg room for anyone who is average sized. The seats are kid and petite adequate but not the average height person. The seat cushion was also lacking for a 6 hour flight. Overall the flight was great and the service was excellent."

Pros: "The flight was amazing. Checking in was easy and the code worked easily. The airplane seemed new and the attendants were super nice and had great attitudes. I will fly more often with Hawaiian Airlines"

Pros: "The service and accommodations were fantastic. Comfortable inside. Food is always a plus. The one thing was that it was expensive. The ticket was about even but to buy any entertainment was pricey. No issue if you bring your own."

Pros: "I always love flying Hawaiian, nice planes, nice flight Attendants, they are always on time or early. Their food and beverage service is great too!!!! It's always a pleasure to fly with them. I make multiple trips per year."
