Due to mechanical error, the flight was delayed, we missed our connecting flights, and customer service was rude. With all the added fees, my total flight round trip came out to $502.90, so the options given to me as partial refunds did NOT make sense ($180 if I refunded my entire return flight, which is way less than half my overall cost, or per customer service at my connecting location, “you’d be lucky if you got $80”, which is way less than a quarter of the overall cost). My connection was at Denver and my final destination was Seattle. My options were to fly to Portland, OR and figure out the rest on my own, at my cost. Or book the next flight to Seattle, which was 24 hours later. I got a voucher for up to $150 for hotel, but absolutely no assistance finding and booking a hotel, especially since they were sold out (I was looking for hotels just past midnight) or cost over twice the voucher. Am NOT flying Frontier again and I have shared my experience with friends, family, and co-workers and have strongly advised against this airline.

Cornell and Dorothy and the other flight attendants were the BEST! Cornell actually welcomed each passenger as they came onboard. Dorothy modeled the emergency info in such a graceful way... that you chose to pay attention because she made you feel secure. My colleagues and I have all agreed to fly Delta again ( specifically the Atlanta/ Milwaukee flight) Because of these courteous, caring, and professional people!

The crew was polite

We got stopped waiting to pull up to the gate for over an hour. This on top of the flight being delayed. The TV screens didn't work and the flight tracker didn't work.

On time, plane in relatively good shape.

The entertainment system is of low quality and kept freezing and needing reboot. It is almost impossible to hear the movie sounds. Somehow the food served was truly disgusting, like an horrible TV dinner. United always stands out on international flight for having the worst dinner served. Always take your own lunch with you! Finally it has been my consistent experience on United that the stewardesses are really unfriendly. They do their job just fine but do they look so miserable compared to other companies. Do the airline treat them real bad?

Flight delayed until 8pm then sat on the plane in Toronto for 45 minutes waiting for a gate and because we were sent to a parking area with numerous other planes and ended up getting boxed in and couldn’t get to our gate earlier. Nothing offered to the passengers during this time, not even water.

I could not pre-check or request different seats on the CP website. I think that this was because of issues with the website, apparently due to IT system communication between American Airlines and Cathay Pacific.......on all six flights. On the transfer in San Francisco, Customs was closed when we arrived in San Francisco and we had to haul all of our baggage from one terminal to the other. There was no direction on how to handle this issue of Customs being closed while on the flight to San Francisco. I had to explain the issue of to the CP customer service crew in SF. The CP desk and they had never heard of it. American Airlines was equally poorly trained. I will also say that while at the CP customer service, there were three young adult males that we're not busy at the time and the watched us unload the baggage carts onto the scales and conveyor and then reloaded on to the carts to push to the AA terminal. We handled the bags two additional times because the CP staff did not know what to do and how to handle it. Other passengers were confused as well.

Breakfast on GDL-DFW and movie

One hour delay on account of missing signatures from some mechanic according to the captain’s weak and shallow account of the facts. Flew with a 1st class upgrade to DFW and upon missing the connection to DSM (imputable to AA) I would have expected AA to have me await my later conection (3 hrs AA 2488) in the Admiral’s club especially after having paid for the upgrade. Instead, the bozo at the Admiral’s Club entrance in Terminal A A23 indicated that only Mexico City passengers were allowed into the Club even if as a GDL passenger I had a 1st class boarding pass. Poor and misguided management of the moment of truth on behalf of your employee with a 1 Million Miler customer. My experience recently with Delta and United has been with more open minded, customer centric and better trained airline staff. Disappointing and hope someone will read this and let me know that my note was heard. What is next?

The cheap ticket prices.

My flights wto and from were both delayed 4 and 2 1/2 hours with no reasons why. The seats are drastically uncomfortable and don’t decline. They are understaffed and I don’t think have enough planes in their fleet if there are problems.

The onboard crew was great. Very attentive and personable

I had to wait an hour in line just to check a bag (I was charged $45 to do so) I was charged another $20 just to select a seat with frontier.. our flight was also very delayed, and we received little communication from the airline about it. Seats were uncomfortable and close together, and no amenities are included with your flight. I understand you get what you pay for, but I doubt I’ll be flying frontier anytime soon.

Rules are rules. Yet, at least ten people brought on more than the designated one carry-on bag and purse. Flight attendants shouldn't have to deal with those poorly mannered passengers who think they deserve special treatment. Otherwise, it was all fine.

Love the built in tv’s with free entertainment.

The plane got delayed on the runway and the shut the engines off so the plane got super hot, but even after we got up in the air it never cooled down. Normally I’m freezing on flights, but I just sat sweating this whole flight. It was terrible.

This was my final connection from a long flight, we did a line to check in and get our boarding passes, when we got to the gate I found out I didn’t have a seat number asigned but husband did, they gave me one there but of course it was not next to my husband, it was the last seat available at the end next to restroom. The smell coming out from the it was so disgusting even before th first person went in, they should do something to improve the cleaness in the restroom between flights. Love the built in tv’s with free entertainment.

The plane got delayed on the runway and the shut the engines off so the plane got super hot, but even after we got up in the air it never cooled down. Normally I’m freezing on flights, but I just sat sweating this whole flight. It was terrible.

The crew was polite

We got stopped waiting to pull up to the gate for over an hour. This on top of the flight being delayed. The TV screens didn't work and the flight tracker didn't work.

On time, plane in relatively good shape.

The entertainment system is of low quality and kept freezing and needing reboot. It is almost impossible to hear the movie sounds. Somehow the food served was truly disgusting, like an horrible TV dinner. United always stands out on international flight for having the worst dinner served. Always take your own lunch with you! Finally it has been my consistent experience on United that the stewardesses are really unfriendly. They do their job just fine but do they look so miserable compared to other companies. Do the airline treat them real bad?

Rules are rules. Yet, at least ten people brought on more than the designated one carry-on bag and purse. Flight attendants shouldn't have to deal with those poorly mannered passengers who think they deserve special treatment. Otherwise, it was all fine.

The onboard crew was great. Very attentive and personable

I had to wait an hour in line just to check a bag (I was charged $45 to do so) I was charged another $20 just to select a seat with frontier.. our flight was also very delayed, and we received little communication from the airline about it. Seats were uncomfortable and close together, and no amenities are included with your flight. I understand you get what you pay for, but I doubt I’ll be flying frontier anytime soon.

The plane was over an hour late and they lost our luggage. I understand things happen it was not that big of deal but the lady in Syracuse was unfriendly and acted like she could care less. We ended up going to a wedding in our shorts and flip flops because we had no clothes and not enough time to purchase any. Our bag was delivered about 1am. The customer service was really pathetic. Not even an I'm sorry this happened.

The cheap ticket prices.

My flights wto and from were both delayed 4 and 2 1/2 hours with no reasons why. The seats are drastically uncomfortable and don’t decline. They are understaffed and I don’t think have enough planes in their fleet if there are problems.

This was my final connection from a long flight, we did a line to check in and get our boarding passes, when we got to the gate I found out I didn’t have a seat number asigned but husband did, they gave me one there but of course it was not next to my husband, it was the last seat available at the end next to restroom. The smell coming out from the it was so disgusting even before th first person went in, they should do something to improve the cleaness in the restroom between flights. It would probably take them 30 more minutes to do so, and I would not mind waiting for it even if this was my final flight after 15+ hours.

I could not pre-check or request different seats on the CP website. I think that this was because of issues with the website, apparently due to IT system communication between American Airlines and Cathay Pacific.......on all six flights. On the transfer in San Francisco, Customs was closed when we arrived in San Francisco and we had to haul all of our baggage from one terminal to the other. There was no direction on how to handle this issue of Customs being closed while on the flight to San Francisco. I had to explain the issue of to the CP customer service crew in SF. The CP desk and they had never heard of it. American Airlines was equally poorly trained. I will also say that while at the CP customer service, there were three young adult males that we're not busy at the time and the watched us unload the baggage carts onto the scales and conveyor and then reloaded on to the carts to push to the AA terminal. We handled the bags two additional times because the CP staff did not know what to do and how to handle it. Other passengers were confused as well.

Due to mechanical error, the flight was delayed, we missed our connecting flights, and customer service was rude. With all the added fees, my total flight round trip came out to $502.90, so the options given to me as partial refunds did NOT make sense ($180 if I refunded my entire return flight, which is way less than half my overall cost, or per customer service at my connecting location, “you’d be lucky if you got $80”, which is way less than a quarter of the overall cost). My connection was at Denver and my final destination was Seattle. My options were to fly to Portland, OR and figure out the rest on my own, at my cost. Or book the next flight to Seattle, which was 24 hours later. I got a voucher for up to $150 for hotel, but absolutely no assistance finding and booking a hotel, especially since they were sold out (I was looking for hotels just past midnight) or cost over twice the voucher. Am NOT flying Frontier again and I have shared my experience with friends, family, and co-workers and have strongly advised against this airline.

I understand that circumstances occur beyond the airlines control, but this has been routinely occurring on my trips with Frontier. Absent compelling reasons, I will not be flying with them again.
