I was disappointed that on a 5 hour direct flight, I wasn't able to have a meal that I was going to gladly be paying for."
Pros: "Arriving in Seattle my bag was waiting for me at the claim area. After 45+ years of flying around the world that was a first. But something happened before we took off. The gentleman in the seat in front of me had packed some oxygen bottles in his bags and a handler came onboard to address this. He was polite and very understanding that the man was meeting a cruise ship in Seattle and needed them as life support. The handler took an address from him and said he would take the bottles to Fedex near the airport and sent them to him. And the passenger could send him the money later! I thin k the handler's name was Bob. He needs a commendation foe going the extra mile for a passenger! Find him and buy him dinner."

We gladly excepted the roomier seating. We were issued new boarding passes, and made our way to our seats. Once we settled in, a flight attendant asked to see my boarding pass. She looked at it and said, "Yep Amber so-and-so, seat 17B." Apparently, the airline had combined 2 flights, so people were all crammed into a new tighter space. There was even a bumped "first class" customer all squabbling over the seats. My traveling partner and I, eventually just asked them to please give us our old seats back. Finally, we were seated in our original seats. We never asked to be moved in the first place, it was offered to us. The whole thing was humiliating, and unnecessary."

There was very little legroom even though these were sold as first class seats. The plane was old and dirty, the armrests were sticky."

You need to update your computers otherwise with the original Lufthansa-issued ticket number you provide at time of booking, the booking will not show up in Lufthansa systems."

I was extremely surprised to find that I, indeed, was scheduled for United. The double trip code was VERY inconvenient, found myself constantly having to call the other airline to book the seat, find the gate, find out about luggage limitations, etc. Not intuitive in any manner. Please don't confuse customers with your 7 point tiny type saying we're just kidding, you'll really be on an airline of our choice when the day comes!!! but you'll pay the bigger bucks!!! UGH."

They basically told me to go f**k myself and file a complaint. They can eat a d**k."

Pros: "Not too much. I suppose the fact that they put me on a first class (though 45 minute) flight to get me closer to my destination wasn't a bad touch, and my bag was where they said it would be even if I had to get it myself"
Cons: "The two and a half hour delay leaving for starters. Every 30 minutes someone came on to tell us we would leave in a little while but then we didn't"
Cons: "A baggage cart rammed the plane, which damaged something which could not be repaired there at the gate. New, delayed, flight had smaller capacity than the original flight, and I was bumped off the flight. Did not get to my destination until 24 hours later."

Cons: "On the flight from Tucson to Houston we experienced United's personal entertainment where you could use your iPad to watch movies. On the reverse flight, this flight that I'm reviewing, this amenity was not offered. As far as boring goes, the TSA in Houston was rude in the boarding sign said pre-boarding only so we were waiting and I almost missed the flight because the sign never changed."
