Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

The Munich-Chicago flight was delayed. At the end of the flight crew didn't bother to announce that people with tight connections should be able to leave the plane first, and a number of people didn't make their flight. During flight crew members were doing something to bathroom door while there were people using that bathroom, which was very disconcerting. Announcements over PA were not made clearly.

I pay 2000$ for bad fly

I’ve never in my life been on an international flight that didn’t serve at least a free drink, but there should have been a drink and a snack on an international flight. Also this flight had a 2 hour delay, so we didn’t know we would be going so long without any liquids for our baby and young children. The cabin crew was also very rude.

Plane was very delayed. US agents unhelpful in connection flt and in seating. No real info given on delay.

We had something like 4 or 5 gate changes, plus a 30 minute delay. The cabin crew as somewhat more brusque than usual. Basically no food on the plane, but that's OK for a flight of this duration.

boarding in mumbai was a mess.. It felt like 80% of the flight boarded in the pre boarding section which was meant only for people with special needs and with children. The staff who were checking their documents just did not care if they were supposed to be in this line or not. Lets hope they improve on this

Cons: "My original itinerary was booked with Airfare.com with a 93 minute layover at ORD, subsequently abbreviated to 40 minutes. Despite my repeated requests, neither Airfare.com nor United nor Lufthansa were willing to adjust my consequent itinerary to correct that conspicuous deficiency. Instead, both United and Lufthansa representatives repeatedly assured me that the 40 minute connection would present no problem; and Airfare.com tried to extract a 33% premium on its original sale to make any such adjustment. As it turned out, my apprehensions were realized when boarding and tarmac delays at SFO consumed the entire layover, and a subsequent gate delay at ORD frustrated the commendable efforts of the flight crew to facilitate the de-boarding of passengers with close connections. Contrary to United and Lufthansa's explicit reassurances, the long run halfway down one concourse and all the way back up a second left me four minutes short of the gate closure. You guys need to get your act together. If either airline chooses to finance its operations by selling tickets to an "aggregator", such a business practice should not relieve the airline of its obligation to provide reliable service to its ultimate customer, the flyer. I am currently working to identify an appropriate regulatory agency to whom to report this cynical misrepresentation of services and the patently corrupt business model upon which it is based."

Cons: "The plane (Boeing 777) is packed like a sardines can, with 10 narrow uncomfortable seats across in Economy Class. The crew didn't even bring water for an 1,5 hr into the flight! The plane was very hot, with very little air flowing through the salon. Food was bland for dinner and inedible for breakfast. The crew was barely there, and borderline rude when asked something."

Only to be told at the departure time that there was a problem with the baggage hold and we were delayed. In total 50 minutes late leaving. Breakfast a simple brioche with nothing to add to it."

Cons: "Boarding was not too well organized and I followed Security's direction who put me in wrong line and I wasn't able to board with my priority group. Sitting in exit row with no floor storage so this delay made it hard to find overhead storage above my seat. (Grrrr) Entertainment system didn't work which made the flight feel LOOONG. (They offered an in-flight credit, but I'd paid for premium exit row seat and had to choose between moving to working system in crowded middle seat or keep premium, exit seat. I decided to have them move me to a seat with a working entertainment system, which were available and they'd offered, but never happened.) When I got home, I discovered the gift I purchased with in-flight credit and my own money wasn't the one I'd requested from Duty Free catalog so now I have to figure out how to solve this problem. (COULDN'T GET IT RIGHT.) Premium exit row seat was narrow, due to in-seat tray table & entertainment system, but seatbelt mounts and thinly padded seat made it even more uncomfortable on a long flight."

As many airlines charge now for any and all food items it was nice to again experience fast and efficient food and beverage service without the tedious hassle of ordering and paying. Cons: "We were rebooked, which understandably happens for any number of reasons. However, we were not informed or asked about our preference until our luggage was checked through! The staff especially in Chicago where we began this awful experience couldn't care less about our situation. Then AIr France lost our luggage and provided no help in locating them. We had to rely on folks who had friends working in Zagreb Airport to locate them. Air France is incompetent, insensitive and unprofessional. If you have an important trip avoid Air France - they treat you like captives not customers."

Cons: "Comfort economy okis seats are wide, with good legroom, but did not recline and hard as a rock. Entertainment system hard to use, finding movies very tedious."
Pros: "Loved the lovely food and wine from Air France, they even serve fresh french bread with camembert, ice cream, champagne (in economy) and brandy with your coffee!"
Cons: "The cabin on the 777-200 was far too hot (about 25c) and with no individual air vent I found this unbearable on a 12 hour flight. And despite the flight taking place entirely during daylight hours and leaving at 10:30 am, inexplicably we were made to all pull our blinds down and the lights went off after a couple of hours - in the middle of the day and for about 8 hours! So although I had paid for a window seat there was nothing to see apart from the window shade. As it was the middle of the day I could not go to sleep, the person in front of me reclined fully so for me the flight was a hot, claustropobic, dark hell. An utterly miserable experience. I felt like I was going mad, trapped in my own little cell."
Pros: "I had a choice of movies, games and music that was very appealing. My concerns about not receiving the correct meal was handled professionally and promptly during the flight. I was surprised they couldn't discover I only ordered it for the second leg of my flight."
Cons: "Being placed into a window seat at 6' 5". Although I opted for general seating rather than paying for a extra leg room which is out of my budget. Not getting an aisle seat was disturbing at my height. Then there was the guy in front of me not willing to forego putting his seat back on my knees for over half the flight. It would be nice if the seat assignments for general boarding considered the height of the person being assigned."
Pros: "Was upgraded to Business class, so the food was acceptable. Comfort score also reflects the Business class seat. Cabin crew were friendly and efficient."

Cons: "The vegan meal was a plate of dough. All bread. Other flights have given fruit, vegetables, vegan yogurt, etc. But that's a small complaint. The extra leg room seats at the exit aisles I was offered don't recline. (This wasn't true on the next flight). At 5 feet tall, given the option, I would pass up on the extra leg room and take a reclining seat. This is something that should be made very clear before the flight!"

Pros: "Only the speed of the flight. The seat was terrible! No pitch, no room, squeezed in like sardines. The crew spent most of their time hawking BA products. Embarrassing."

The only good part of the flight was that the pilot provided a smooth and quick (thankfully, because the rest was pretty miserable) time in the air. BA has become worse than Ryanair."

Cons: "Flight was delayed almost 3 hours total. The first 45 minutes we were in the airport and they said they were delayed because of an engineering issue which was fine. They then stated that they resolved it and had us board the plane.... ten minutes later the pilot states that the same engineering issue is still being worked on and it'll be about another ten minutes. Well... TWO HOURS after being trapped on the plane and told repeatedly "it'll be another 10-15 minutes" ,we finally took off. The food was subpar, most of the airline staff was polite save for one gentleman at the gate who made a sarcastic comment to me about them trying to board quickly when I couldn't find my passport (after making us wait 45 minutes... then another 2 hours... yeah board quickly for what?). And the flight attendant Nicola was incredibly rude and appeared to condescend to some passengers in various ways. That 3 hour delay ended up costing me my connecting flight and I was booked on an overcrowded flight leaving 4 hours later and that was also delayed almost another hour (surprise!). My first day of vacation, I basically lost my whole first day as I arrived 8 hours after I was meant to because of delays by B.A."

Cons: "The AA flight from NYC was late arriving at Heathrow, causing me to miss the connection. AA/BA was very good about orienting me to the new plan, but the delay was very inconvenient and being in the last row of the newly arranged flight to Lisbon was downright unpleasant."

Cons: "Plane was very old. Seat rock hard. When I pulled the foot rest down the fabric was coming off to reveal years worth of food crumbs. Disgusting. TV screen was tiny. Seemed sort of staff, took them ages to bring food around, toilet was unclean with no toilet roll towards the end of flight."

Cons: "The crew were spread thin and not particularly helpful. We were charged for drinks that are usually complimentary (water and ginger ale) and when the credit card slip needed to be signed, my partner's ginger ale was spilled. The attendants couldn't be bothered to give us more than two cocktail napkins to clean up an entire can-worth, and did not offer to replace the drink. I had to dig into my bag to try and find napkins because there was soda covering the tray as well as all over the seat and his lap. I've always had positive experiences on BA flights, but sorry to say this one was sub-par."

But the worst was in the am (this was the Chicago to London flight) there was nothing offered before landing. My experience is that there is usually tea/coffee/a light snack. But not even water was offered. I have told this to a number of people to get their opinion. Everyone is surprised. On the flight from London to Lisbon, nothing but tap water was free."

Cons: "Checking into Heathrow was interesting because they have automated systems to bag drop. I always like talking to a person which I could have done but was unaware. I had printed my boarding passes which then was sent to the automated line. That being said I had an issue with my carry on it was a literally too big because of the handle sticking out. So I had to check it. One of the women there was kind and sent met back to the British Airways check in section again to check it. She said don't worry it'll be free. So I went to the assigned line and a woman stopped me and told me I needed to stand with the rest of the people in the checked baggage line not the hand baggage line. I said I was sent to this line. She said well you're going to have to pay if it is too big. I said I was sent to this line because I was told it would be free to check it. Her attitude/tone was rude. Which for me was not ok. I had just landed in Heathrow from Newark and was starting jet lag, plus I literally was able to carry on my bag at Newark. Same company! I was trying my best to be kind but she just kept insisting that I was going to pay for the bag. I then stated that I already had paid for the bag! As I had paid for 4 and only checked 3! So if necessary this would be the 4th bag. Now I would not have had to do this if British Airways had allowed me to tack on my Athens trip to my Heathrow trip. When I found out they could do that they said it would be an extra $1025 to do so. I told them that I would just go through customs and get my bags and put them on the Athens flight. Of course I get to the counter and the woman there was wonderful and told me not to worry that it would be taken care of. So thank you to the woman who diverged a ridiculous argument over the handle not fitting in the cage. Moving forward boarding was interesting as I have never ridden in a train that takes you to the plane on the tarmac. It was a little long and VERY hot as they fill them to the brim and it was a good 10 min ride with people packed like sardines. When we got to the plane boarding was quick and efficient. The seating in that plane was very much like a spirit flight for close to 4 hours. There was a lot of turbulence and the landing was a little hard but that's to be expected in planes."

Pros: "I flew economy. I was happy that I didn't feel tightly confined in my seat. I'm 5ft. 11 in. tall and had enough legroom so that me knees didn't get pressed up against the seat in front of me. I had the vegan meal and it was good! The staff on board were friendly and professional even when a customer a few rows ahead argued with them! They were able to hear the man out and resolve the problem amicably."

Cons: "The boarding gate was not posted until 25 min before plane was scheduled to depart, the departure was 20 min late, Customs at Lisbon took 1.5 hours for a simple stamp on my American passport. The aircraft was packed full, not even water was offered without charge, the service even at that was barely fast enough to make one pass of the passengers before landing, the aisles were continually blocked with service carts selling so how are you supposed to make a bathroom break?"

Because of all the uncertainty when they decided to do this, it was not caught until the bags did not show up at my final destination. Cons: "No bathroom in Economy Plus; the 2-3-2 seating arrangement in E+ is a downgrade from the 2-2-2 of the 767; the windows that don't seem to fully block the sun."
