Our seats were moved for no reason. The plane was old and wifi and tv were slow. The flight was delayed over an hour for a paperwork issue. Only bright spot was the flight attendants good service.
The crew did not ensure the Evermore seats had their carry on space available. When my family and I boarded, we saw people putting their carry on suitcases in the overhead spaces above our seats and then proceed to the rear part of the plane. This resulted in us having to check our bags and being late to our meetings/events.
The crew was friendly and helpful. The entertainment system in my row did not work for movies and TV shows and the Direct TV cut off in parts and stopped showing the baseball playoff game.
Non-stop commercials were frustrating when trying to view direct TV
Great. I was in mint class. Security was spectacular. A lot of room on the flight! And the WiFi worked this time- it didn’t work the last time and I am on a business trip so that was a problem.
Paid relatively a lot of money for a not comfortable seat. I would not take this service again until seating is improved. Food also not up to standard for price paid.
My original flight was cancelled. My replacement flight was delayed over 2 hours. I lost my whole day in NY
Delays were crazy long (over an hour) both for boarding and baggage claim
awful expereince. boarding was a mess and not communicated, then we sat on a hot plane and were at risk of getting kicked off
They initially informed us that the flight was delayed, but only after waiting an hour for updates. In any event, the flight was canceled, but the way it was handled was really poor and egregious. I feel they handled the situation of informing travelers very irresponsibly. I sat in a wheelchair at the airport for over four hours before finally being told that the flight was canceled.
At 5:46 am EST, when I arrived at my departing gate, your gqte agent told me that I could not board the flight because the flight is closed 15 minuets before departure. However, the same gate agent escorted a woman (standing right next to me) at the gate onto the flight which, proves that I could have boarded the flight just like the woman I watched board the flight. The gate agent stated "she was here before you". 1-why was she not already on the flight & 2-how and why was she able to board a "closed" flight that I was not. Additionally, although 6am EST was the time of departure, the plane did not 'pullback' from the gate until 6:15am EST The same gate agent told me that the "boarding closes 15 before departure time" is printed on my boarding pass. This statement is not displayed on my digital boarding pass that I downloaded from AA.com. She also told me that this in stated on AA.com whent I booked my ticket however, since am travelling for work, I booked my flight thru my firm's (Deloitte Consulting) corporate travel app, not AA.com. We had bad delays and waited for hours on end, we did receive a 12 dollar coupon to use in the airport though. Oh wait, we got that on the plane so we couldn't even use it. I truly never want to fly American ever again.
I was able to enlist on standby for an earlier flight, and eventually made it (last row). However, the experience was poor and felt unfair. On the standby list, I was ranked #2 (#1 had been cleared a seat). The person ranked as #3, who was also in the queue alongside me was given a seat much earlier - with group 4 boarding (a seat within the first 2 rows after business class). When inquired about why I was skipped-over on the priority list, the gate agent first paused (likely cuz she couldn't explain) - and then gave me the standard expectation that if a space opens up, she'll give me the seat. Despite my priority ranking being higher, I was unduly held-back, and could have missed the plane - unfairly giving advantage to someone else. Luckily one seat opened up; but given the unfair assignment of standby seat by gate-agent, this was a subpar boarding experience.
Cabin crew were good Food could be a lot better
It was a short flight so there were no entertainments nor super comfortable which is OKAY, just the review system doesnt allow for N/A which is why okay was put, but overall good! No delays and nice crew
AA was fine....the overall experience was subpar, but not due to the airline due to broader issues

Not good always. Even our trip to japan was disaster with the American airlines delays and cancellatios. Now unfortunately we needed to book again with them last min. Was okay but as usual not comfortable seating.
Susan the flight attendant was great. She greeted me with a smile and showed great hospitality.
Horrible! We departed out of terminal 5, not only was the sign for flights and gate information were so badly organized that it took 2 minutes for all of the flight info load for the correct airline. One would think BA would have new and well managed jet ways, but no you had to take a bus to the plane. It took for every and detailed departure by 40 mins. I’ve had better class of service from Indian Airlines. BA needs to work on upscaling to meet the Industry norms. I can see regional airlines using this loading method but not on an international flight.
