Pros: "The Captain was well spoken and informative. The entire crew really seemed to care. They were so efficient. All of this happened in white-out conditions, on the Sunday after Thanksgiving—the busiest travel day in history! They were AWESOME. And the gate agents took advantage of 3 people who didn’t show to let my family sit together, which I really appreciated."

So after everyone had boarded, at the minute we were supposed to take off, they beg for 2 volunteers to get off the flight to compensate for the weight of the excess fuel. Eventually 2 people b3came annoyed enough to get off and take a $200 voucher (probably for another delayed flight.) so we were late taking off for that. At our destination there were clear sunn6 skies. Extra fuel was needed for that. So I was stuck in a seat the size of a child’s car seat for an extra 40 minutes? And when we could finally get off, my legs had fallen asleep ffrom being too squeezed in for that relatively short flight. When will the airlines focus on the passengers’ safety & comfort and not on excessive profits?"
Pros: "We were allowed to take a carryon bag, unlike on a United flight we took on our way from Chicago to Hartford, without paying $30 to do so. When we got to the Gate for this flight, complimentary checking of carry-on bags was allowed, and that helped speed the boarding process, not just for us, but for all the people on the flight."

I was told he was accommodated because he is priority. When asked how I become priority I was told "he spends more money and flies more often." To me that means as a customer I am not a priority to American Airlines."

My husband and I looked at our tickets and were surprised to see the seat assignments I had chosen when I purchased the tickets were not there and instead the boarding pass said "see agent". She then assigned us seating in separate rows and handed us new boarding passes. No explanation. We looked at them and handed them right back and said no thank you, we had purchased tickets together. She said, "this flight has been oversold" and motioned for the next passenger to step up. This really upset my husband who told her, "Wait, we are not finished discussing this!" He went on to explain to her we purchased our tickets together with seat assignments - Together. She then said if we didn't reclaim them when checking in, 24 hours prior, the seats then became available again. What kind of logic is this?! Ugh! If I wanted to be treated like cattle I would have stuck with Southwest! We. It's back to Southwest for us. At least they are up front with their rules."

Pay extra hefty fees for small carry on, and of course pay extra for peanuts or even water. So after everything, it’s the same price as any other airline. At least delta has TV or United has snack options or American has decent leg room. Didn’t like either Frontier plane I flew on. Now I know for the future, it’s not as cheap as I thought."

Of course nowhere did it mention that if I simply checked in at the airport instead of doing it online beforehand, I could be assigned seats and it wouldn't cost me anything. I drop $1000+ on airfare, checked bags, and sneaky extra fees, and you can't even give me a $.50 can of soda for free? I've flown Frontier before, but the customer service has gone downhill in the past few years. I will never use this airline again and I encourage others to do the same. They're providing an inferior service and staying in business by offering "cheaper airfair" which they make up for by tacking on exorbitant luggage fees, sneaky online fees, and neglecting customer comfort."
Cons: "No real complaints about the flight, HOWEVER, Frontier's luggage handlers (probably in Denver) ruined a piece of my luggage. I got home very late and didn't notice the problem until the next morning. I checked their baggage policy and noticed there was a four-hour window to report lost or damaged luggage, so I was out of luck on a $100 piece of luggage. I recognize damage can be caused by any airline, but when you have to pay to check a bag AND carry one on, you would think you'd be given more than four hours to report a problem."

Cons: "The plane was inexplicably delayed by first 7 hours and ultimately 9 hours. Rather than leave at 7:30 pm Wednesday night, it took off at 4:30 am Thursday morning. Even worse, TSA didn't START work at the airport in Salt Lake until 4:30. I was fortunate enough to make the flight, but many others did not. Frontier provided no explanation regarding the delay, nor could they explain or even bother to care that the rescheduling occurred at a time Salt Lake passengers couldn't even go through security! Overall, this was an unacceptable experience."

He then closed all the overheads when we were half boarded - making new arrivals scrambling for storage. Also, all the hidden fees!! I paid 1 1/2 times my airfare in more fees. I'll fly another airline before choosing you again. I have flown over 500,000 miles in the past 20 years and this was the worst."

I also got 2 free bags and could bring a carry on. Not to mention they actually serve drinks on their flight. I was so disappointed with EVERYTHING about your airline company. The worst part is....a supervisor from Frontier said they would call me back in an hour (I wanted to discuss with my husband if it was even worth it to pay the fees or not) and he didn't even do it! It shows how much you guys don't care about your customers or business. As soon and I noticed he wouldn't call I just called Southwest and explained my situation and I was off the phone in less than 10 minutes with a new ticket and FREE BAGS!! I will NEVER fly Frontier ever again."

It was scheduled to leave on time, just that they had no room for us even though we had a confirmation number for that flight. I don't know if the responsibility was with Frontier airlines or our booking agency, but rest assured I will not use either one of them again."

Granted I'm 6'3" with a muscular build I could have chose a stretched seat but for a 1.5 hour flight I didn't think the extra fee was worth it. This and several other minor things have convinced me to never fly Frontier again so long as I can help it."

Cons: "Due to an invalid barcode on the boarding pass provided me by Frontier I was not allowed thru security at Salt Lake International. The ticket counter was empty and the kiosk machines didn't work. I ended up missing my flight. I will never fly Frontier again."

Cons: "The delays were terrible, none weather related. We sat on the tarmac for an hour once arriving to Denver, left Cleveland late, then my flight to SLC was delayed another hour. Not any help or explanation at Frontier's customer service either."

We sat at the gate for at least a half hour with the door closed before backing away from the gate...making the already late flight even later. The flight crew seemed bored and tired. The seats were small, crowded and uncomfortable. We waited for almost 40 minutes for our luggage to arrive at baggage claim. And, when checking in, we had to pay to reserve a seat. And, of course, we found we had to pay to bring anything more than a personal item with us on the flight. What makes the experience of flying Frontier even more frustrating is the fact that every time we fly, the rules and conditions change! Frontier used to be a great low-cost airline. What's happened?"

Cons: "Flight attendants and passengers were deadbeats. The guy seated next to me used his phone in-flight to text. The crew didn't care."

Cons: "The ONLY thing that messed the flight up was that there was a baby that cried the ENTIRE time! Drove me COMPLETELY crazy! Almost 4.5 hours!! That child was on BOTH of my flights and the crying never stopped! Other than that, the airline staff were very nice and welcoming. I think had it not been for that crying baby, I'd rate it 5 starts and would definitely recommend to family and friends"
Cons: "No matter how cheap is the ticket, not going to buy frontier tickets anymore. Poor poor service. No one charged my carry-on bag on my trip with frontier from SLC to Cleveland. When I come back from Cleveland, the lady charged me $60 at the gate. No pay no boarding. I wasn't informed with the new policy, and being charged with $60 at the gate was rediculous."
Cons: "Be honest with your ticket pricing. Don't advertise a cheap ticket price, and then after the sale is complete say, "Now pick your seat and pay more money." Frontiers ticket pricing is akin to ObamaCare, nothing but deciet and dismal results."
Cons: "Baggage drop lines were unbelievable. Foreign travelers were in the same line as domestic. There were only four agents to handle 100s of passengers. When I checked in online, to select a seat I had to pay an additional fee and then was also charged for my carry on bag which increased my fare by $68. In addition they do not participate in TSA precheck which further delayed my security process. Although I had allowed plenty of time (1 1/2 hours) to drop my bag and get through security by the time I got to my gate my flight was already boarding. Additionally you are charged for everything on the flight even water which for a 3 1/2 flight is ridiculous."
Pros: "Cheap"
Cons: "Not flying frontier unless significantly cheaper because I had to spend $60 to bring a carry on round trip, and even more ($20+) if I wanted to pick my seat, which I didn't."
Pros: "Crew was courteous, each flight arrived on time or early, and landing was exceptionally smooth."
Cons: "Ticket purchase is the tip of the money iceberg. Charged fee not only for each checked bag, but for the carry on. A fellow passenger complained that his 2 bags cost him more than his own ticket. No in-flight beverage or snack unless purchased. Seats on the Airbus A19 were molded plastic with very little padding and do not recline. Although leg room was adequate for my 6-foot frame, the seats themselves were the least comfortable of any flight I have ever taken. Next time I will fly another carrier."

Cons: "I didn't realize when I booked the fare that I would have to pay an addition amount for a seat on your plane. No wonder the fare looked like such a good deal! I hadn't flown Frontier before, so this was all new to me! You nickel and dime everyone for every little thing, such as baggage, a seat, any kind of refreshment on your flight. The flight I took was short and went fine, but I would not fly with your Arline to far off destinations! Thanks for the safe flight, but it was a one time purchase."
Pros: "The take off an landing were as smooth as riding in a car. Perhaps the best pilots I have ever flown with and I have traveled a lot."

Then add the bags $31 each bag each way. Then add seats $17 each seat each way. Suffice it to say NOW I know. Additionally, you have to pay for drinks and the seats don't recline - rough at 6am. The flight crew was LOVELY, the takenoff and landing despite heavy snow was amazing. My ignorance is my only real complaint."

In addtion to Spirit overloading TSA in their terminal. My worst flying experience ever, and I fly a lot!"

When I received the email there was no explanation as to why my flight was cancelled. I then waited on the phone for over an hour to speak with someone, I was told that no crew was scheduled to fly the plane. Because of this airline I missed my sisters graduation. I will never ever be flying with this company again. On top of that they try to rip you off by making you pay 50 dollars to carry a bag on the plane. Their flights may be cheap but they are completely unreliable and I would rather pay more for my flight then deal with this terrible company again. NEVER FLY WITH SPIRIT!!!"
