To begin with, I selected several flights that were listed, only to have it tell me that this flight is no longer offered, which I assume is engineered to get me to select a more expensive flight. Once I finally found a flight that was still available, I selected it and began the process of providing information and selecting seat assignments. On 2 of the 4 legs of the round trip, there were no more seats available except for upgrade seats, which resulted in an extra $100.00+ in charges. Then when I finished the transaction, I noticed an extra $200.00 charge added. End result was that I ended up paying over double what I would normally pay for this same round trip that I have made many many times. I feel, no I know, that some customer relations person will look at this comment and reply with a pre-generated response apologizing and hoping I have a better experience in the future and thank me for using Kayac. Big companies like yours look at one customer as no big deal. I'm a Physician and have the ability to reach out to multitudes. I'm going to make it my mission in life to reach out to as many people as I can through word of mouth, signs in my office, Internet and social media to let them know about the deplorable practices of your company."

Passengers were putting both their carry on and personal item in the over head storage and therefore there wasn't enough storage for those would only wished to store one item."

I think that I would rather have paid a little higher fee for the flight and have some of the things built into the ticket than have to keep paying out money for all the different things."

In addition No blankets or cushions were provided. The leg room was horrible. I'm only 5'5" and I felt cramped, so I can't imagine how it would feel for someone taller. also, no one checked bags due to the newly imposed fee so everyone crammed their luggage into the overhead compartments and many of us had no room to store our carry-ons and had to put it below our seats, causing even less leg room. the Hawaiian airport also locked out the waiting area for international flights back to Vancouver due to some policy that the area must be locked down until the plane has arrived and everyone is off the plane. Many of us were sitting on the ground outside in the non-air conditioned hallway in front of the stores like homeless people for over 2 hours. Luckily seniors were sitting on wheelchairs and did not have to wait while standing or sitting on the ground. They finally let us in 20 minutes before boarding but really by then it made no difference."

Cons: "The seats isn’t made for a big person which is my main complain for ALL Airlines. The charger for my phone wasn’t a USB charger"

Cons: "It was operated by United Airlines. Absolutely no food oe entertainment, limited comfort."

Cons: "Except for this one male crew, the Asian women were mean/rude. I always try to fly with ANA or JAL to Hawaii and I thought my flight back was also ANA, but it was UA. Food and crew are ALWAYS better with ANA and JAL I wonder if UA crew have ever flown with ANA or JAL..."

Pros: "Lots of good movies to watch; inflight meal was pretty tasty."
Cons: "Couldn't check in on line; couldn't get a seat at airport check in and had to get assigned at the gate. Understand that the flight was fully booked but still was a little uncomfortable as I couldn't get an aisle seat."

Pros: "Upgrade and lay flat seats."

Cons: "Too crowded."

Pros: "They were nice. Speak different languages to cover travelers all over the world. But food wasn't that great."

Pros: "Flight was only about 25% full so we have lots of room to stretch out. Appreciated the vegetarian option for the meal. It was tasty."

Pros: "Despite the lack of entertainment options, the ability to upgrade to economy plus made my flight comfortable."
Cons: "No entertainment on board, and you need a plugin installed on your mobile device to make their streaming service work, which I didn't have."

Pros: "No wifi, so no entertainment. But we did get 2 packets of snacks!"

Cons: "The fact that I had to download an app for onboard entertainment prior o my flight is farcical."

Cons: "$660 in baggage fees for a military traveller who signed up with a U.S. Flag carrier. The whole purpose of choosing United was their baggage limits, instead its just a code-shared flight with ANA as the operator and I end up paying loads to bring home equipment. Will use a budget airline that is more upfront with their fees next time."

Pros: "Overall, the plane seemed newer and was very comfortable."
Cons: "The boarding process was a little disorganized, but being in group 5, it didn't really affect me too much. The crew on board did their job, but they could check on the passengers a little bit more and possibly pass out water or refills to drinks."

Pros: "Good movie selection, easy and unremarkable flight. Great way to travel!"

Cons: "Terrible experience ever!!!!! Didn't get economy plus that I paid for, seats didn't recline and luggage got damaged and was not replaces or compensated for."

Pros: "The plane was a newer version so we could watch movies up close and personal, although I'd prefer the option to stop or pause the movie and also to choose to watch whenever I feel like it, like on the Lufthansa planes... those are great! Many choices and full control to pause or start whenever one likes to..."
Cons: "One of the flight attendants wasn't the friendliest, a bit of a "humph" attitude..."

Pros: "Not everyone showed up for the flight, so I got an extra seat to spread out across."
Cons: "You should make seats that absorb smell. The guy in front of me smelled like he pooped his pant."

Pros: "The lady at the gate did everything she could to get my wife and I seats next to each other. Very kind and polite woman at HNL."
Cons: "The seats are very uncomfortable and no leg space at all. Paid the price of a meal at a restaurant for a box of snacks on the plane. Food grossly overpriced."

Cons: "The following points would be totally ok for a 50 Minute business flight, but not to a 5.5h flight to Hawaii. - Luggage costs extra $25 per direction. This amounts to additional 10% of the total costs. Does anyone not take checked luggage to Hawaii? - The lunch was a savory snack. Really, because a sandwich is too expensive? - Entertainment needs to be purchased extra. Use your existing Directv subscription? Of course not. - Power socket underneath the seat - good idea. One that actually works? Oh wait."

Pros: "Everything else was fine. I was even able to access my luggage in LAX to retrieve my medication, which I accidentally had left in there. Thanks for that."
Cons: "Stewardess was so big and clumsy, that she had to hold on to the overhead bins and wake me up every time she squeezed through aisle and scraped by me. I know you cannot discriminate against big staff, but you have to make the aisle wider if you want your passengers to be comfortable and undisturbed."

Pros: "The return flightf we had our be on from S,an Francisco to Atlanta , we had only 20 minutes to make it to the boarding gate. We were tired and didn't have time to use the bathroom nor eat before boarding. This is because my flight was changed. I'm so upset with United."

Cons: "It would be nice to see a smile and enthusiasm from the attendants. Service? Waited almost two hours before my empty bottle was removed from my tray top. Asian airline attendants can teach UAL's a thing or two about the art of service."

Cons: "The flight was delayed at last minute before take off."

Pros: "Extra legroom in premier economy was great. Entertainment made the long flight quite enjoyable."
Cons: "I liked the 2-5-2 seat arrangement better than this new 3-3-3."

Cons: "I had alittle trouble with the entertainment/technology aspect but eventually got it. I had to download the united app and then went around and around till i got the movie i wanted to watch. It would be good to have an outlet to power the device also."

Cons: "The shakedown to buy food or rent a tablet was beyond me. On the way to Honolulu. The young lady next to me had not eaten and it was the third flight on her journey, she had one more flight to go. the pressure from the flight attendant was similar to a very bad used car salesman. Tacky. When the same thing happened to another young person on my flight back, I suspected this is the way United runs its flights. I'm guessing United doesn't treat their employees well. They did just enough to be barely pleasant. I won't fly United again."

Cons: "It was ok. We had to connect to the their wifi in order to watch movies, yet the wifi continued to buffer. So it wasn't the best."

Pros: "Pilots did a good job comforting passengers about duration of flight, weather and safety. Smooth flight for all 8 hours. Sevice was good."

Cons: "After a rough start in Honolulu we landed in San Francisco to catch our connecting flight to Chicago but when arriving to the gate before the plane left I along with the other passengers were ignored and given no information as to why we couldn't board the plane. The best they could do was St Louis. Frustrated is an understatement."

Cons: "Flight delayed by one hour on take off. Had to wait 1 hour for bags at my destination because the cargo door was stuck."

Cons: "7 am flight cancelled and re booked for 4pm flight on standby until then. 4pm flight didn't finish boarding until 5pm. No compensation offered on top of all of that, turbulence was terrible during descent. Been on easily over 100 flights and this was the worst"

Cons: "My husband & I booked seats together and you separated us to opposite sides! There was not a single movie since there weren't any TV screens. There were no USB plug ins."
