Cons: "I have been flying JAL from HK to Boston numerous times and by far my favourite (over Cathay and don't even need to mention United). However this past trip gave me a new perspective. Given it is a Japanese airline and all, it is normal for them to be Japanese-centric. We had an a-hole sitting in front of us at 51F during our flight to Narita and he was trying hard to argue with us in English, and even told us to move to another seat. When I had the flight attendant (her name is Sako on flight JL736 on Jul 26) over to discuss (in English) she went to the guy in front of us and started apologizing to him. For what??? She then came back to us speaking in Japanese and brushed the issue away. Sorry, no this was not acceptable, even though my fiance was okay with the situation."

I lost my $170 hotel room, over $70 for taxis and ended up spending the night on the floor at Schipol. I do not think I'll ever use Kayak again. The travel guarantee is a joke too."

I have allergies and requested a special meal on all legs. No problem on the first three flights. All attendants approached me to confirm my allergy and the special meal. They were very polite. But on this flight, the attendant didn't speak with me about it at all. She tried to give me the regular meal. When I explained I needed an allergy free meal (mind you this was first class), I was told I could not get it and got no apology or other accommodation. Her attitude was take it or leave it. I found this interesting since on two of the other flights an announcement was made about another passenger with an allergy to peanuts so no one could have them on the flights and the attendants were very concerned."

Cons: "I had very bad emotions sickness from London to Dallas TX. After I got on the plane I asked one crew member if I have any chance to switch the seat to sit by the bathroom because I am very sick, but seems no one cares. They said there is nothing they can do and tell me to get back to my seat. The whole fight I was sick. It was a horrible no crews member were asked me how I felt. No crews member checked me if I were ok. I had fever and so sick. There were late. I never have any bad fight like this forever."

Cons: "I had a family emergency and had to buy a ticket to Pittsburgh to get home instead of going to Portland."

Cons: "American completely missed the mark. AA did not successfully change our reservation when the initial leg of our trip was delayed by an hour due to a fuel issue, which caused us to miss your connection in Chicago. Since American partners with Alaskan Airlines, American should have changed my reservations with regards to Alaska Airlines, but they failed to do that. I stood at the Alaskan Airlines counter as the plane left the gate with our empty seats because there was not a ticket. American Airlines did not change a reservation successfully and so although we had boarding passes with our names and seats and the flight number, the plane left without us. I was stranded and Seattle airport at midnight with a child and an infant with one diaper and one bottle left and it was a terrible experience with American Airlines. I do not recommend flying American they cannot get it together when problems happen with delays."

I asked for a blanket and they told me they'd provide me with one and never got back to me. They ignored me the rest of the flight. Shame on them for not providing something so standard as a blanket."

Very small seat pitch Long delays for maintenance and runway Annoying ads for AA credit card over the intercom prior to landing No USB ports"

Pros: "Pretty average flight and experience overall. Food was as expected. Average flight attendants - no one really stood out, which is odd for an international flight."
Cons: "Premium economy seat didn't decline making this the most uncomfortable and unpremium experience I've had. Sore neck and back. Searching for media such as artist or movie worthless - yields no results, yet the album is included in the listings - I stumbled on it earlier in the flight and wanted to listen to it again. Same search experience on a flight three months ago."

Cons: "The change by British Air in flight departure/arrival times. The resulting adjustment was costly and we were unable to get "extra" seating on the long leg of the trip by the time we were notified of the changes."

Cons: "There is no legroom in coach. I am six foot seven and my knees cram against the seat in front of me to the point my legs go numb."

Cons: "I don't know if I need to contact american airlines directly or what. But this is the 3rd flight that has been delayed with no reason given or for whatever the reason was tonight. Its obsurd. I booked a flight on Alaska Airlines specifically because american airlines had the issue of delays. Then come to find out, the flight WASN'T on Alaska...but its affiliate. It would be really nice to get some answers."

Pros: "Wrong airline, sent me to wrong gate, almost missed the flight. If I wasn't lucky enough to need a wheelchair, I would probably still be in Phx! Not happy at all, to say the least. I had to grease the palms of about 7 different wheelchair pushers. A bad day all around."

Cons: "Left 3.5 hours late. Promised a connection the following morning and a hotel. Arrived at SFO only to be told that they would not pay for the hotel (or make arrangements) as the delay was weather related (since when is trying to leave BEFORE a typhoon hits and being LATE a weather related issue). They gave me the option of after a 13 hour flight at 11:30pm walking over to find AA staff in another terminal to argue for payment. I was too tired. After 1 million miles on AA I will avoid them now."

Cons: "I ask many AA customer assistance this question no body help me understand. I buy a seat and a 70$ extra for a premium what does this seat offer , what am I paying 70 $ for"

Pros: "Almost 20 hours before regular flight time, received numerous texts from airline that flight will be delayed. Some were delays if 4,5 hours then changed to almost 8 hrs then back to 6 hours . Needless to say connection flight is messed up and no way of knowing what that might be until arriving at airport. Then more confusion, too almost an hour to get checked in. With connecting flight of 1.5 hours which is scary for international flight that requires going through custom then recheck luggage and TSA line again. The saving grace is captain speed up place on first leg of international flight so arrived airport 1 hour early, thus allowing enough time to connect."
